I am severely disappointed in this episode.
While I understand the editing of Shademan's deletion, why couldn't they use the term Full Synchro? What was wrong with Anetta screaming when Enzan was defeated?
That totally killed the moment, the cutting of Anetta's scream. One other thing, why were Lan and Megaman jabbering throughout the entire Full Synchro transformation sequence?
The entire power of the episode wasn't there for me.

Aaaahh, that sucks. Missed the episode. Glad that they finished Axess, though. Hope they air this episode again... T___T;
If they don't change the damn music for Stream, someone's going to be murdered.

...and so we come to a close. I gotta say, though it wasn't PERFECT, I was happy with how the last episode turned out.Now that I could fully understand the plot points of the episode I found it as enjoyable as the Japanese version. CF's Laserman voice was sick, and even his fight scene with Lan was almost COMPLETELY intact, not a single edit on the blasted off limbs! That, and this not only confirms for everyone that Stream is going to be dubbed, but the line "Where did Dr. Regal go anyway?" gives me a slight hope of the MOVIE as well. The ending slideshow was gone, but I'm kind of happy about it since it would've just had talking over it and would've killed the ending.
..that, and I can't believe how many pages the thread's reached since I first started it so long ago XD |

They could have put more emotion into it, but then, anime tends to rely too much on an ambiguous, ill-defined "heart of all" power up. I can't really blame them for wanting to have some definition.
Regal kind of disappointed me, personally. He was a lot more well developed in the game. Here in the anime, he has this awesome evil presence down, but its hollow due to his history being reduced to "I got power from Duo, and now I'll give myself the power of a destructive god with science." I prefer the "has no hope in humanity's 'better instincts', so let's cover the world in darkness" deal from the games. More "justification"... I never felt sorry for him, but he appeared more like a well rounded character and human being than in the anime.
But then, the anime tends to do this. Look at what they did with Bass. |

My guess is, when that episode come out on DVD (if it does), the ending slideshow will be there, either as a special feature, or part of the episode.

I think this episode was very good, I really liked how Full Synchro was used... I really didn't like that they didn't name it though. I'm also very glad that Stream could be coming shortly.
