It's not too hard to sell out when you purposefully make a shortage and don't even produce enough systems to fill all the preorders. :/

Also, many systems sell their best at the their launch. You need to wait a few months and see if it is still selling well, if it's popular and if it's games are in the Top Ten or not. Then you can make a judgement.

| Sony and Nintendo bring out quirky games for the Japanese public...I cant see MS developing a katamari or nintendogs, plus Sony and Nintendo are Japanese Companies...kinda hard to get a foothold when your greatest competitors are based where you want to be, Yes I know Sony and Nintendo both have American Branches here in the US but the market here and the market there are totally different sure both sides love to play Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry and MGS, so to Mario Kart,Party and all the other Mario stuff but those are system exclusive stuff, Microsoft doesnt have a game that they can say well Nintendo had it when it started now we have rights to it and we are making it kick ass, barring Ninja Gaiden which I think for the most part is the only original nintendo game on Xbox to the best of my knowledge. Though it would seem logical to have them stay away though you cant completely discard a market like Japan, you just have to find a medium to get through...back to Duck Hunt... |
