Aaaaahhh yes.... the good old Original Game Boy...! I loved it so! Games for it like Tetris, Super Mario World 2, Pokemon Yellow, Megaman, etc. were SO cool! Too bad it's obsolete(Although I have no idea why :/ )I found it in my closet after years of not playing with it no more, since I had new ones like Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, etc. I didn't want to throw it away. How about you guys? You'all ever had the GB? :]

I got in to Gameboy stuff around the time Gameboy Color came out, so I missed a lot of Gameboy games besides Pokemon and went right to that.

Some of the games I've played though are pretty cool... Gameboy's definately one of the better original systems IMO.

I never had the original Gameboy, but a friend of mine from down the street did. I remember sometimes when we'd be hanging out together, practically the entire time would be spent with him in the chair and me sitting in the arm of it, trying to see the screen over his shoulder (which was hard, because that thing had a screen that couldn't be seen from an angle ^^; ). I also remember how many batteries it took xD But yeah, even though I never had one, I've still got that nostalgia-ish feeling attached to it ^^

Eh, my first GameBoy was the GameBoy Light. It was the first GB to use a light, so it was pretty cool.

this was my first gameboy and I kept it until advance came out, mine was yellow and broken because I spilled Yop in the speaker. It was kinda funny cause the only game I played was pokemon and I didn't realize how screwed it was until I played it on someone else gameboy.

I remember my first original gameboy was a limited edition Pokemon yellow one. I still have it and sometimes play it just for the nostalgia.

I own an original Game Boy, and have kept it even though it doesn't work anymore. My first Game Boy was the Game Boy Color, though. And, I have a question for you, Flame Buster. Do you know where I can find some more info on the GB Light? I've never heard of it.

Ahhh yes, the original Game Boy. I remember I first got it as a bundle pack with Donkey Kong Land. I played that game non-stop, then went tearing through the house cheering when I finally beat King K. Rool. After that was Super Mario Land 1 and 2, and my life was all downhill from there. Laughing

Oh, yes! I remember receiving the original Game Boy for Christmas when I was about 6 or 7 years old. My first game on it was Tetris.

I still play on it sometimes. But two lines of pixels are dead on my screen D:

I have everything intact, other than the two lines of pixels D:

Ah the Old Gameboy. How I loved thee. But it's currently residing at the bottom of a lake.

I got mine for christmas when I was 6. I got Donkey Kong land with too. Ahh all those hours I spent playing that gameboy. It still works perfectly and there's no dead pixels or anything. And it's BLACK! Black gameboys will rule the world!

I have one from my parents, and played on it even when everyone else had color. It's not breaking down for some reason, though.

I know my uncle had one, and I used that to play Tetris and Super Mario Bros 2 on it. I'm sure it's still somewhere about his floor in the house, but it's no matter--I have a GBC for my classic GB gaming needs. The GBA he still owes me...and I'll make sure he makes good on it...
