Heh heh,plenty of memories from the last time I played the original GB. From arguing with my cousin over who gets to play Tetris first,or who gets to play Kirby's Dreamland.

If it weren't so clunky I think it'd still be popular. -_-;

But yeah,once the Gameboy Pocket came out,followed by the Gameboy Color,it was all downhill for the original Gameboy.

My 11 games *Note: the blue game is Pokemon Blue, I lost the picture*

I have, among those, Pokemon Blue and Yellow, and Super Mario Land 2. I have a saved game from a WAY long time ago (I think about 5 years) on my Blue version. I primarily use it to evolve my Pokemon on Gold/Silver/Crystal (due to stone rarity).

Speaking of Pokemon, if you're wondering about my current Silver version team, PM me with the subject "Silver Version."

My first GameBoy was a GameBoy Color I got on my tenth birthday along with Pokemon Gold. These days, I play my SP with Ruby, Sapphire, Leaf Green, Fire Red, Emerald, Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire, MegaMan Battle Network 3-5 (all versions except Twin Leaders) and a couple of other games I got at school. Most of my old ones for Color were Pokemon, except for Tetris. My mother took my GameBoy away just so she could play that game sometimes. -_-;

Heh, my uncle had one too. He worked in the hospital, and would play it whenn he was idle. I remember playing Mario Land 1 and 2, Tetris, and space invaders. I got Donkey Kong around the time of the Super Game Boy, and I played Pokemon Red on a GB Pocket. I forget why, but my first Game Boy stopped working because of something that happened to it.

The only GB game I have left is pokemon Gold, and I do play it occasionly. I was thinking about buying some classic GB games cheap at some game stores, however, just for nostalgia.

Maybe when I get older, I will put my Game Boy in a time capsule and bury it in my backyard, so when my kids go digging in the future, they might find my Game Boy, along with the other games that are inside it! Razz

The first Game Boy I had was a Game Boy Color. I bought it for 20 bucks, it came with a Looney Tunes game, two Pokemon Yellow games, a GB carrier, and cleaning stuff. I bought it from my cousin, who was selling it.

I think my older brother had the first Game Boy. We had a Simpsons game where you are Bart....unless I'm thinking of NES. We had alot of games for that thing. But we gave it away. I miss Zelda. ;_;

That old NES and its games brings back memories... Smile

What also really inspired me was not only Tetris, but a few other cool games, especially Megaman IV! Playing that game in the Game Boy is SO cool!!!!!!!! Ever since I got that game, the Game Boy glued me to it's grasp, in other words, I never stop playing it! :D

I got the original Gameboy back in 1991 and even now I still have it and it still works. Before I got myself a Gameboy Advance, I played this handheld as often as I could and while my choice of games were strange at times, I still enjoyed playing them. Most of my old games I still have although I have lost a couple never to return again. Personally, I don't plan on getting rid of my Gameboy seeing that I have so many different memories attached to it not to mention that the handheld is hard to find these days.

Me too. Once again, something we have in common. I still buy old games for it, and I still have alot of fun with it. Too bad when I found my Game Boy, all I found with it was Tetris and Pac-Man, but now that I buy new games for it, I'm having more fun all over again! :D

I've had my gameboy when I passed kindergarten. I didn't play it as much as the SNES but I still enjoyed some of the games on it. I've played one game with Kirby, a basketball game, Tetris, Mario Land 2, Crash Dummies, Donkey Kong, Ninja Turtles, Pokemon Blue and Yellow. It's still in my basement somwhere. I doubt it would work now. I lost the lid for the batteries and the screen has like 2-3 dents on it.
I was the type of kid who kept breaking stuff; toys with no arms/legs/heads, NES with bubblegum inside <_<, and a gameboy and GBcolor full of dents due to frustration.

I still have mine. Works fine, except there's this line that goes through the screen when its turned on and running.
