It is creative in that they name them after related figures in mythology, but not creative in originality. Though, I do like the names too :D

The thing with Fefnir is that its a translation error. It was meant to be Fafnir, a dragon from celtic mythology I think. Fenrir is the wolf from norse mythology.
Pegasolta Ekrel= Pegasus+Assault Eclair (lightning in French)
Ciel= Sky in French
Neige= Snow in French
Rossignol= some bird in French
Perrouquet= Parrot in French
Jaune Rouge= Yellow and Red in French
There are many more that I know, but cant remember all the names -.-

Heh heh, the French get enough bashing as is, eh?

Anyway, I found out a couple more meanings for the names.

Alouette= Lark
Cerveau= Brain (which makes a lot of sense)

That's all i've found for now...

I think Tetsuka Osamu just try to give the cool name that factor. Omega has nothing relate to evil, at least for my knowledge.

Like Pegasolta,all of RMZ4 's boss based from Mythical character:
Minos Magnus=Minotaur
Sol Titanya=Titania the fairy queen in Shakespear 's novel(MidsummerNight dream?).
Fenrir Lunaedge= One of Loki 's children Fenrir that other mentioned.
Chicken boy= Cockaratice, the chicken that has petrification eye.
Tech Kraken= Kraken is the sea monster in Greek mythology.
Nobel Mandragora= Mandrag is the mystical plant.
Heat Genblem=Genbu, the japanish turtle god that guard south(or maybe other direction, I can't remember) Other direction guardian are Dragon, Phoenix and White Tiger. Zuchiaomon from digimon was also based from this god,too.

I wonder more about the snake boss from RZ2,Urobockle?I don't know much about this character, but in Full Metal Alchemist, It 's the name of the mark that seven Homunkuluses have. The mark looks like the star with Dragon. Can anyone give more info about it?

Mandragora were a mythical type of demon, what your thinking of is a mandrake, which is not just a mystical plant but a real one as well to which the primary humanform shaped root was a halucinagin. they are somewhat tied together in origin of naming and such, but their stories tend to be very different as mandrakes were mearly plants with affects, where mandragora were really sprites.

and your thinking of the Ouroboros meaning tail devourer, which is used directly in christian, Norse, aztec, and Hinduism, all creeds that have been portrayed in the game thusly

Fafnir was also from Norse mythology and the norse version makes sence as he is quoted as "a dwarf gifted with a powerful arm and fearless soul " it goes on to say he was turned into a dragon later in life.
