Sorry but I noticeced that there is no real sprite submishin. so if it's not against the rules you can post any of your sprites here. here are some of mine.

If you read the rules posted at the top of Spriter's Lab then you would know what is and is not accepted under the rules. What you have posted of your work so far looks like a recolored Blues and Rockman attack sprites from the EXE series. If you read the rules you will see that recolors of existing sprites are not allowed, and that people are allowed to post their work, but in their own threads. I highly suggest that you do read and understand all of the rules before continuing. _________________

The only idea's or suggestions that I can give you is to look at other navi designs made by Capcom and then refine elements of your sprite that you can see need adjustments. You can also create a color chart of all the colors that you want to use with a range of colors that you can use to use for shading your sprite.
*edit* Corrected minor spelling error I saw. xD _________________

Not having any armor isn't a valid reason to lack in shading, and you can send me a PM with the sprite if you wish for me to see if it makes it past the rules for posting. But lots of times its better to use your own judgement, if you have doubts about something then better not to post it. _________________

Jeeze. That is a horribly obvious recolor. Not only that, but the colors are a pain on my eyes.Try this: Instead of taking one sprite, take a few with parts you like. Meld them together, edit the colors and designs, and there you go, and almost full custom navi. I doubt people will be able to tell what navis were used. Just, don't claim its full custom. |

It would still be better than a protoman clone, right? And besides, he could still look the same, just differently posed. For example: Greyman(the navi in my sig) was an edit of Zero, but I took a different navi and edited it and now it looks the same with a different pose. |

I do this and a very good gif maker said once that some of the stuff I did is very well done. So think about trying to do that. It'll look better. |

That is good advice for those just starting out in making sprites, to give them a feel of what to do. One think that you want to be sure of is that you blend the parts in seamlessly and that they are edited enought to not look like a "frankenstein". _________________
