Rock needs to be Evil, and if not in the Emotion Window at the least he needs to be blackened. Beyond that I'm not sure as I never use Dark Chips beyond Chaos Unisons.

Will it still work if you're in ForteCrossRockman?

also is there a way to send the chips from previous mmbn games into the DS version? I know when you insert the pervious games the battle music
changes but does it do anything else?

I've read on game faqs that you can get the navi+20 chip in a bonus panel the shademan mission and timpani and silence from the wine comp on the ship but, I went to both and I didn't get anything, and I've opened both the [spoil:3f72e0eebd]nebula doors[/spoil:3f72e0eebd] and nothing, what should I do?

to DjangoSP, Megaman can still get evil in the FCR form. to Musashi.EXE, what i did to counter the chip hunting problem was simple. i have the GBA cart of ToC and i put in 30 chips i needed in my DS versions into my folder. then, i turned on MMBN5 DS and selected a game (either one). there should be an option that says "Convert". what it does is upload the chips in your GBA folder into your DS library. do this repeatedly until your library is full! mine was full before i even beat the game! :]

Erm...that does absolutly nothing to help him out, you know. He may just be playing the traditional EXE5 cartridge.

As for finding Navi+20 *, I too am unsure. The way that the bonus panel works is that during the Shademan mission, when you capture a ? panel, you must stop the randomizer on a chip, and you will be awarded the Navi+20 *.

I thank you for the advice, finally after 6 days finally someone replyed,
but actually that won't help me because of 2 reasons,
1.I don't own a copy of ToC and 2. I had to struggle using the oran battle chip trader and then I finally got the chips I wanted.

But now I have a new problem :eyes: , I need to get 40 Mega chips
(I'm missing 4) I've been fighting ToC navis but I can't get their SP or DS chips (with the exception of the enemy navis like blizzard man, shademan etc), even if I S rank them I get nothing. I know you have to fight their omega versions but how do I get them to appear? also as anyone finished that darned 1000 bat challenge :grr: ? and if so then please tell me how you did it and what do you get when you finish it? (Final Gun maybe?)

In order to obtain the ToC navi chips, assuming you have ToB, there is only one way to do so--by trading them from the opposite cart. Unlike EXE4, trading navi data does not mean that their ghosts acutally appear on the Internet, and thus, all of their chips are of Secret class.

Sorry I forgot to mention I own the DS version of the game, Double Team and I'm playing the ToC version, I know the locations of the ToC navis but actually getting the chips is the problem, I fight them but the SP or DS data doesn't appear, and also so like I asked before is there any other reason why I should play the 1000 bat game other that to get the Otenko and GundelEX chips (which I have already), do I get anything special other than crossover points?

I don't know about the latter question.

For the former, it is likely that you have not defeated the set beta versions of the navis on the Internet. Without them, no random encounters can ever be triggered. Alternately, you could have found the random encounter, but are not ranking them high enough. Typically one must rank around 8~9 for the DS chip, and 10~S (optimally the latter) for the SP chip. Remember that if you take longer than 30 seconds, you can toss the possibility of getting an SP chip out the window.

I faced the same problem like you a whil a go! use the 10 chip trader on mttaur chips and also do the navi battle images. You can try ds and sp ranking knightman, he's easy, I did it on 15 seconds with pit hockey and life sword at full synchro. You can also do toad man easily using sea seed, toad soul and 2 or 3 anti-elecs. You can to about 1200 and on the sea panls, about 2400! You can also use your toad buster with sea seed to do a whopping 140 stunning buster! It pwnsand also if you get hit too manytimes

so, what I have to do is rather than fight the image data I should run around the net searching for the Beta and Omega forms? and if so then what area are they in? (the 1000 bat question is still up if anyone can answer it).

no there is nothing special other than the cross over points for the Cross Over trader. OR at least from my experience there isn't.

If you can get in contact with him and ask then that would save me the trouble of finding out cause if I do the 1000 bat challange and get squat then capcom is going to pay dearly. the farthest I've gone is 750 bats, but I can't get to that total again. also I still can't get the SP or DS versions of the ToC navis, even though I S-rank them, which is just plain wrong.
is there an other [spoil:ff947f57cc]nebula hole[/spoil:ff947f57cc] that increases the power of image data?

Well Otenko and Gun Del Sol EX are from the otenko trader which requires cross overpoints. I got Django DS, GDS EX and Otenko from it along with several different GDS1-3, Django, Django SP, and all three versions of Shademan SP. Of course I waited till I had 999 Cross Over points to trade them in. That took awhile since the most I've ever gotten bat wise is 150, which translates to 15 points.
