|
|
Deep into the Greiga base, a Zoanoroid is told that Trill is a "synchronizer" navi. As a follower of Greiga, Zoan Gutsman swears to fetch Trill himself.
Meanwhile, decorations adorn the city of Densan, as well as a light flurry of snow. It's Christmas! In the darkness of outdoors, Iris is fleeing from a shadow of a pursurer. As we see the shape and outline of the chaser on both the wall and floor, it looks suspiciously like Colonel (this is -my- theory, but when you watch this look for yourself).
At Maha Ichiban, Dekao is gazing out at all of the glittering lights and snow outside. "It's so pretty, master! It's almost Christmas?" When he gets no answer, he looks over at Mahajarama next to him. "Dekao", comes a voice from Dekao's OTHER side. "I'm over here."
Sure enough, Dekao was talking to the Maha statue the entire time. n.n; Dingo comes out to join them, just as Dekao notices a familiar girl running by. "That was...Iris-chan?"
The young girl runs into a deserted area full of barrels, and hides among them. The shadow silently bypasses her. She murmers how the Zoanoroids will keep pursuing her as long as she knows Trill's secret. "I need to hurry and get Trill back...."
Episode 12: "Trill's Secret!"
A blaring alarm sounds at the Net Police, where a Zoanoroid has invaded. Sure enough, Zoan Snakeman appears in their cyberworld, only to be surrounded by a fierce firewall. He uses his Snake Arrow attack to try and break through, but it's of no use. It would appear that Zoan Snakeman is determined to get through in order to retrieve Trill for Falzer.
A familiar voice sounds from behind Zoan Snakeman, revealing none other than Blues. Demanding him to hand over the "Synchronizer", Snakeman turns around to face his opponent. Enzan slots in the Long Blade chip, just in time to give Blues a defense against an onslought of Snake Arrows. Blues dives in for a swipe afterwards, but misses as Zoan Snakeman leaps up into the air. Blues finds himself on the defense again as a rain of Snake Bites hail down upon him.
For a moment we're taken to another part of the cyberworld, where a childlike castle is protected by a glass dome of a firewall. Inside the castle, Rockman and Trill are playing a fun game of "Jan Ken Pon" ("Rock Paper Scissors")! The first time Trill wins with his rock over Rockman's scissors, so he quickly yells out "Achi moite hoi!" ("Look over there!"). (Ryouko's note: this is where the winner tries to get the other player look in the direction of where they point their finger.) After the third round, Trill successfully gets Rockman to follow his finger, which proclaims the little navi as the winner of the game. "Ah, Trill is really good!" exclaims Rockman. Trill giggles in response. "Yatta! Yatta!"
Back at the battle, Zoan Snakeman is relentlessly attacking poor Blues. "You're not an enemy to this Zoan Snakeman!", exclaims Zoan Snakeman himself. "I wonder about that!", yells back Blues as he swipes at his opponent with his sword. Zoan Snakeman jumps back in surprise as Tomahawkman adds his own attack with his Tomahawk Swing! Not only him, but Gutsman too with his Rocket Guts Punch!
In the real world, Dingo and Dekao join up by Enzan's side. After a short introduction, Enzan slots in the Yai Form chip, allowing Blues to slice off a good chunk of Zoan Snakeman's body. Their opponenet crashes to the ground in pain, then logs himself out. Dingo and Dekao slap themselves a high five in congratulations, while Enzan grants Blues a job well done.
With a moment of peace later on, Commissioner Kifune tells Enzan he did a good job as well. However, the dangerous situation isn't completely over yet. Meiru looks up at Yuuichirou, and mentions "Just as we thought, the Zoanoroids are after Trill...." Yuuichirou nods in response, then looks over at Manabe as he talks about Greiga and Falzer's true objective in why they want Trill so badly. Manabe reminds them that Zoan Snakeman had called Trill a synchronizer, "but what is that?", she wonders.
Kifune pipes up, as he reminds them that their own true objective is not Greiga or Falzer at all. "Sou....our target is...."
We zoom out into the city, where Iris stands at the top of a tall building. The wind blows through her hair as she looks out over the city with sad eyes. "Trill..."
Meanwhile, a plane lands at the Net Police Headquarters, with a familiar friend aboard. Inside, he introduces himself to Kifune and the others. "Net Savior of Sharo; Laika! I have arrived at your request." Kifune nods, telling Laika that they will depend upon his aid. Enzan steps up to greet him with a smile, "It's been awhile, Laika!" Dingo joins Enzan side soon after, "Have you been well?", he asks. Laika smiles back, saying that he has.
Laika looks around, and asks where Netto is, as he notices the usually noisy boy is missing. "Yaahooooo!" yells out Netto, as his rather large image appears on the monitor. "Netto is over here!" Laika looks up in surprise, "Netto? Where exactly are you?" The younger boy informs the crew that Rockman is staying with Trill to keep him safe. While he does that, he tells the others that he'll depend on them with the battles outside the firewalls. With a final "Ja ne, bai bai!" from Netto, he dissappears from the monitor again.
Kifune comes up from behind, stating that they are currently hiding away Trill in a secret location, away from the Zoanoroids who are trying to delve into the little navi's secrets. Manabe adds in that there is someone out there that they need to find, who can possibly help them. They will lure that person to them, which is their real objective. Laika asks who on earth it could be, and to that Manabe smiles. "That girl navi!"
At a resturaunt, Iris stands before a payphone. She looks down at her PET with a determined expression. Back at the Net Police, Laika is filled in on the last bits of their mission, while reconfirming everything else. "But...", murmurs Meiru, "will that girl navi really come?" Manabe looks down at the smaller girl. "She'll come! She wants to take Trill back to Beyondard."
Inside the castle, Trill is making his own little castle out of colorful building blocks. Trill cries out as the castle suddenly falls down, spewing building blocks all over the floor. "Ahh...it fell down!" states Rockman, as he looks over the mess. "Yosh! Lets make another!" However, Trill is a bit tired of making castles. "Enough!", states a stubborn Trill. "Ne, Rockman...will you go with me to Net City?"
Rockman turns up his nose, stating that it's no good. With the "no" from Rockman, Trill starts throwing a tantrum. Rockman gently reminds Trill that everyone is trying to protect him. The little navi stops for a moment, then looks bashful as he apologizes. "I'm sorry...Trill understands." Rockman smiles and pats Trill's head with care.
A call is accepted at the Net Police, but there is no one on the other side when they answer. As the receiver repeatadly asks who's there, we see the payphone where Iris was at, only the phone is left off the hook. Soon after, Iris' navi appears in the cyberworld of the Net Police, right in front of the firewall. The girl navi glows with a bright light as she forces herself straight through the firewall.
As soon as she steps out on the other side, the alarm goes off! However, it's not because of her intrusion like she thinks. On the other side where she came from, another Zoanoroid has breached security. Enzan, Dingo, Laika, and Dekao all plug in their navis to face the new opponent. However, the Zoanoroid is not who they expect....it's Gutsman!
"I am a warrior of Greiga, Zoan Gutsman!" exclaims the darker colored version of the original Gutsman. The evil navi takes note that there seems to be a resemblence between the inhabitants of their parallel worlds. "Parallel worlds?", asks a curious Blues. Without giving much of an answer, Zoan Gutsman begins his attack, starting with his army of Life Viruses.
"A battle?", notes Iris' navi who is still on the other side. Realizing this is her chance, the navi sprints off as she continues her search for Trill. Back at the battle, Blues swipes down with a Wide Blade, while Tomahawkman fights with his Tomahawk Air Raid. The two navis watch as their attacks harmlessly bounce off of the aura protecting the Life Viruses. "A Dream Aura?!", responds Tomahawkman.
Meanwhile, Gutsman is facing off against his twin, Zoan Gutsman. Each strike each other with the Guts Punch attack, but the Zoanoroid proves stronger as he flings the original Gutsman back. Dekao yells out at his navi, then looks rather dejected. Searchman fires out his Scope Gun, but Zoan Gutsman is far too fast, dodging each shot effortlessly. Having had enough fun, Zoan Gutsman suddenly logs himself out.
In the real world, a van smashes through the glass doors leading inside the Net Police Headquarters. As the van crashes into a wall, a Copyroid falls out onto the ground. From a nearby panel, a ray of light plugs into the Copyroid, and a beastisized Zoan Gutsman materializes!
Manabe realizes that Zoan Gutsman is on the attack once again, and Laika states that he'll go take care of it. "Science Labs, Dimensional Area!" he yells out. They answer his call, and sure enough a Dimensional Area is projected over the Net Police Headquarters. Laika slots in his Synchro Chip, and performs Cross Fusion with Searchman.
Up on the roof, R Searchman and Zoan Gutman begin their battle. Inside the cyberworld however, Iris' navi is still searching in vain for Trill.
Eyecatch! Netto & Rockman then Enzan & Blues
Iris' navi reaches a new section of the cyberworld, after passing through another firewall. As she lands on her feet, she collapses to her knees, breathing heavily. Apparantly the energy needed to bypass the firewall takes an enourmous toll on herself. As she finally looks ahead of her, she notices Trill closeby! The girl navi calls out Trill's name, smiling as she runs towards him. "I finally found you! Please, Trill....won't you return with me?" As if an answer to her question, 'Trill' suddenly falls over, revealing a kawarimi double! Activating the dummy turns on the lights in the area, and Roll materializes before the girl navi.
The Life Viruses are still wreacking havoc upon Blues, Gutsman and Tomahawkman. "These viruses are really strong!", yells out Gutsman as he sheilds himself from a rain of meteors. "How strange..." states a dark and unfamiliar voice. "....Rockman is not here...."
"This is the end!", yells out Enzan as he slots in the Neo Variable Sword chip for his navi. Blues swings out his attack, which finally destroys one of the Life Viruses. Likewise, Gutsman and Tomahawkman defeat another slew of Life Viruses as well.
As this continues, Roll and the girl navi confront one another. Roll asks the other navi to help them, but she receives no answer. The girl navi begins to glow, which Roll believes is preparation for an attack. Having no choice, Roll uses her Roll Whip, but it's deflected by a protect shield. The girl navi then leaps up into the air, and dives straight into the firewall, despite Roll's cries that it's dangerous. Roll watches astonished as the mysterious navi phases right through the wall however.
Up on the rooftop, Zoan Gutsman drives his gigantic fist into the ground, only to realize he missed his target. He then looks over as a handful of hand grenades fall near his feet, and explode soon after, delivering a hefty amount of damage. R Searchman appears in the sky above the Zoanoroid, hovering via his jet pack.
"You bastard...you can fly?!", growls Zoan Gutsman. R Searchman simply glares down at his opponent. With the final statement of "Begone!", R Searchman calls upon his Satellite Ray to finish the job. Zoan Gutsman watches in horror as the satellite charges its power, then barely manages to plug himself out as the Copyroid is blown to smitherines.
Zoan Gutsman reappears in the cyberworld, and sighs in relief. "That was close..." However, his situation couldn't have gotten any worse. As the Zoanoroid looks up again, he finds his Life Virus army entirely wiped out, and Tomahawkman, Gutsman and Blues standing right in front of him. Zoan Gutsman steps back hesitantly, just as a new voice calls out his name. "Rockman is not here! He must be hidden together with Trill!" Zoan Darkman appears floating above them all.
Zoan Gutsman realizes this is true with surprise, just as the original Gutsman confirms their enemy's claims. Not only that, but Gutsman tells them their ENTIRE plan of drawing out the girl navi so they can learn more about Trill's secrets. Realizing far too late what he has just done, Tomahawkman starts yelling at his ally to shut up.
Just at that moment, the girl navi breaks through the firewall, and finds herself in the same area as everyone else! Blues, Gutsman and Tomahawkman become distracted by her entrance, which gives Zoan Gutsman the chance he needed to pummel them all unawares. As the girl navi flies above them, a shot suddenly fires into her back, stopping her flight momentarily. She looks behind her, but when she sees no one there, she continues on and disappears...
Blues curses as the girl navi gets away, and soon after the Zoanoroids plug themselves out as well. Manabe watches the monitor in distress, while Kifune confirms their plan has failed. Later on, Netto is filled in on the situation. "I see, so she ran away...." However, the boy simply smiles. "It's not your fault, Enzan. Trill is safe thanks to all of you." Inside the castle, Netto reassures his navi as well. "Don't worry, Rockman! The firewall made by the Net Police can't be breached by anyone." Rockman smiles and nods, as he sits beside Trill.
Outside, snow is still falling peacefully upon the city. Meiru, Dingo, Dekao and Enzan are staring out the windows, watching the scenery. "Snow, eh?", states Meiru calmly. "This will be a white Christmas, won't it?" Dingo comments on the whole "Christmas" thing, while Dekao casually mentions Iris' name. Enzan suddenly snaps to attention, "What did you say?!" He walks up to Dekao, coming face to face. "Where is Iris?! Tell me!", he demands. Dekao thinks for a moment, then replies of what he saw the night before.
Sure enough, Iris is still wandering outside in the snow, obviously lost and cold. "Where have you gone, Trill?", she asks disparingly. A sudden gust of wind and snow passes her by, causing her to stop momentarily. As she looks back up again, she finds herself confronted directly with Enzan. "You are...", she says, surprised. Demanding for her to return with him, Enzan roughly grabs her arm. Iris attempts to grab his neck like before, but he quickly smacks her hand away. "I don't want such a Christmas present!", he tells her. Iris glares at him, then pulls her arm away from his grasp, and runs away.
Yelling at her to wait, Enzan quickly begins chase. Iris runs into a dark alley, where Enzan closely follows, but not before slipping on the wet snow right before the entrance. The moment of delay is all Iris needs, as she dissappears from sight. Inside the alley, Enzan surprisingly finds Dekao, who is near passed out on the floor. Enzan inspects his neck, and finds the same mark that Iris had left on his own neck the last time they had met.
Iris comes to an abandoned area, much like the place where Enzan originally found her. Reassuring herself that no Zoanoroids can find her here, she takes a moment of relief. However, it becomes short lived as the lights suddenly snap on all around the building, and she finds herself trapped by the Net Police. Enzan and Netto slowly step forward to meet her.
"Enzan.....Hikari-kun.....", whispers Iris, who no longer attempts to flee. Netto looks at her, his eyes sad. "Enzan told me, Iris....the girl navi who was after Trill, that you are her operator...." Enzan steps forward then, confirming that he knew she would return to this familiar place. That's how they found her so easily. "Now...tell us everything....including Trill's secrets!" Before the girl can answer however, she suddenly collapses. Netto barely has time to rush forward and catch her before she falls into the snow. "What is it, Iris?! Hold on!" yells out Netto, obviously concerned. "I'm alright...", she whispers. "Just a little tired."
In the cyberworld castle, Trill yawns and stretches his arms. Bidding Rockman goodnight, Trill sleepily puts himself into rest mode. "Goodnight, Trill", Rockman responds with a calm smile. In the real world, Netto offers Iris a hot drink, which she accepts with thanks. Meiru steps up beside Netto, reassuring Iris that Dekao will be just fine. Meiru calls back to Dekao to answer, but he's just sitting in a corner all by himself, whimpering in shame. "I don't understand!", wails Dekao. "Why would my cute Iris-chan do that to me?!"
Iris simply takes a sip from her drink, and is surprised to find it delicious. Netto looks down at her, worried. "But, I just don't believe it...why do you need Trill?" Iris remains silent for a moment, then softly responds. "Please, Hikari-kun....give Trill back." Netto looks surprised as Iris looks up at him with such pleading eyes. (Ryouko's note: At this point I had some trouble translating, so I'd appreciate any help. Iris says something to the rate of "Trill wa.....Trill wa..... watashi tachi no sekai no seizou wo.... shuukei (suitan?) no michibiku chuuyou no sonzai na no...")
[Update: According to WanderingMind, it's somewhat close to "Trill is... trill is... the sacred icon of our world... the existence of a middle path leading to unification..."]
As Iris finishes speaking, the alarm goes off once again. Rockman suddenly realizes that there has been a breach in his area! Zoan Gutsman and his new army of Life Viruses have finally pinpointed Trill's location. Zoan Darkman also appears, floating above the glass dome of a firewall. "We have found you, Synchronizer!"
Laika: "Zoanoroids?!"
Dingo: "This is a HUGE problem!"
Netto: "How did they get here?!"
Zoan Darkman laughs as he lowers himself to the ground, landing next to Zoan Gutsman. He reveals that he shot Iris' navi in the back with his Dark Beam, which planted a tracker upon her. Iris realizes horrified that it's her own fault that they were led straight to Trill.
Zoan Gutsman orders his army to assault themselves upon the firewall, determined to break through. From up above, yet another intruder appears, this time being Zoan Snakeman! He grants Zoan Darkman a job well done, for leading him straight to their target. "Falzer! Why are you here?!", demands Zoan Darkman angrily.
Netto and Enzan can only watch in dispair as now two gigantic armies assault themselves against the firewall. Sure enough, the glass begins to break, allowing the intruders entry at last. Iris watches more and more horrified at the monitor, worried about the safety of poor Trill......

I really, really enjoyed this episode. We learn a little more about the plot with each episode, rather than getting it all shoved into one and then receiving a bunch of fillers (*cough*Stream*cough*). I'll see if Izumi can help me with the one untranslated line, the scientifical stuff usually hits me over the head rather hard. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. I haven't watched the episode, but I think I have some idea what she's saying here. It's something like:
"Trill is... trill is... the sacred icon of our world... the existence of a middle path leading to unification..."
The "sacred icon of our world" bit I'm not so sure about because of the "wo" at the end - she might not be saying Trill is a sacred icon, but that he has something to do with one. |

I'm really starting to wonder if Iris really and her Navi are one in the same, since Iris never talks to her navi directly, disappears shortly after her navi is plugged in and is fatigued when her navi was. Course there's another thing that makes me think so, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. _________________

Since we have had Zoan Numberman and Gutsman, i think the next one will be either Zoan Roll or Blues |

I have to agree with Black Angel. I suspected when she made the call to the Net Savior's HQ and she wasn't there. That might also explain how when in Ameroupe, when she was next to Enzan, appeared at Densan to find Netto. Technically, how can she be in Ameroupe and the appear at Densan. _________________ Forever darkness, eternal light |

Very interesting episode. Hmm, I was right about the zoans.
There is a pattern but there are some navis who are hard to place.
This seems very different then stream almost an opposite. |

Hrm... I'm assuming that Beast is following EXE6's Iris, so spoiler spoiler blah blah blah...yeah. If it's not the case though then I'd love to see their explanation X3
Well, either way, I'm 66% done with it so woo! Once I burn it and get back home to the comp that's actually fast enough to play videos I'll watch-ness ^.=.^ This is ganna be so great... hehehe... *just wants to see Snakeman again* XD;; _________________ Proud Griega×Faltzer shipper ^.=.^

It's just a virus. A new virus from EXE6 to be infact....it's just a mark on it's head. It's not Falzer's. _________________

Although, it did appear at the same time as the battles with SnakeMan no? So aside from the mark on it's forehead, it has some affiliation with Faltzer for sure...or at least a high probability of it. And as for as it being JUST a virus, it wouldn't be just another virus when considering the way they treated it in this episode. It was summoned, just sorta appears, and has special camera time, so there has to be something up with it.
Also, I'm sorta angry that during the previews for the next ep, they overlay that damned PET Ad. so we can't see what's going on...oh well.

Hm... yeah that is kinda interesting, there must be something to it o.=.o;;
...NYAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 3 hours of download for 25 minutes of anime was SO worth it!! Zoan Snakeman's BeastOuted [or I'm assuming it was, sure looked different enough XD] form was so cool! And Dekao's comic relief...XD hahaha, it was so funny when he got the Mahajaramas mixed up...best part there was when he picked up the real one thinking he was the statue! XD And I was laughing when I watched the flubber Fly plugging in Gutsman...XD poor kid, so young and so fat and bald...hahaha [would that look they made seeing Z Gutsman not be allowed as an avvy? Not like it really spoils anything o.=.o;;]
EDIT: Eh, I'll just use it. Trial and error ^.=.^;;
And the battle sequences... they actually didn't have as big an impact as they could've, due to my slow comp's reduced framerate, but it was still so awesome ^.===.^ [can't wait ta see it on my good comp X3] Pity I'm only on DSL every 2nd weekend, oh well. I have 10 other eps to work on too X3 nyahahaha...
...Who cares if I can't understand most of it? I don't really need to XD hahaha *works backwards and downloads 11* moo o.=.o _________________ Proud Griega×Faltzer shipper ^.=.^
