I would really like to see Ice and Glyde Soul...
And more tourneys. Maybe "anime-ise" the BN4 tourneys... Though I know I'm gonna get shot for that. *Runs*

I wasn't joking. (Well, I was half-joking and half-serious).
Even Sailor Moon had the occasional upskirt. True, in Japan, it was mostly aimed at (I think) the 12-15 age group, but a bit of the fanservice got past the censors. Heck, even the Power Puff Girls, an American-made cartoon, had Bubbles jump out of the tub nude. Yeah, it was just Barbie-doll nudity shown, but if they can do that, what's the deal with an upskirt? It's not like I'm suggesting something like Agent Akira. Upskirts can be quite funny if used carefully and moderately.
Suppose Meiru were to slip and fall, Dekao (and the camera) would catch a glimpse of some panties, Dekao gets a bloddy nose and falls to his knees, Netto runs over to help Meiru up, Maha barges in and sees Dekao on his knees with a bloody nose and Netto waving a fist and scolding Dekao for being a pervert, then Netto gets dragged away by Maha for beating up the chef. Would that not be funny?
Or imagine a random gust of wind blowing up Princess Pride's dress, forcing Laika into a very awkward situation. I'd be laughing my head off if they'd show Laika turn red with a nervous smile, only to get a firm kick in the family jewels by Pride.
Anyhow, we're all entitled to our own opinions - no point in dragging on the whole upskirt thing. It's been what? A page already? The staff seems to not be irked yet, and I think it would be prudent to not give them a reason for disapproval.
I want more tourneys, but I don't want Rockman.EXE to just become another show advertising some half-assed monster card battle game. I'd personally want to see the tourneys replace all the mostly-pointless fillers (though tossing in a few half-fillers, like Axess 30 and 42, is fine with me). It would juxtapose a light, high-spirited, competetive tone with a dark, tense, desperate tone (which, if done properly, could put the viewers on an emotional rollercoaster). At the very least, it would sure beat watching fillers like Axess episode 14. |

Hey, that sounds familiar...
Let me be plainer: No more upskirt comments, or anything else to that nature.
Tournaments are good, they fill up the season without the dreaded filler eps. Maybe a world tour? Every so many battles the tournament moves to a different location?

Ah, heck no. I tried to get my wife to have one of the main character's arms cut off in her fanfict, but she'll have none of it. Fatal stab wound? Not graphic enough to be scary Nazne. Ruthlessness really has never been fully used when it appears. We need better illustrations of it.

| Netto and Meiru are only in the 6th grade. They won't admit anything anytime soon. Maybe in another series that takes place 5 or 6 years from Stream. |

I have no idea who drew it - I just found it on an MSN group (so if the artist is reading this and doesn't want it posted here, just let me know), nor do I know what anime (if any) it's from.
Still, it does look like an older version of Meiru and would fit perfectly in a new series with older characters.

Anyhow, this thread is starting to swerve of topic yet again (ultimately because of me). So I'll try and steer it back.
Wouldn't it be nice if they finally decided to reverse-engineered the Dimensional Chip the way they did the Dimensional Converter? That way, they could just go create a new version of the Synchro Chip and not ever have to worry about Dimensional Areas ever again. |
