Interesting. [spoil:168af61b82]Tis kind of a dissapointment that he doesnt have a navi, but him running a chip shop is awesome. And Element Wrap is quite useful from the descriptions I've read.[/spoil:168af61b82] _________________

Oh? o.=.0 Well I only know that the subject was being tagged before so I figured it best and safest to just go with the flow ^.=.^;;;

It's not really that great because you still take damage. It's not like Kakigenkin, Daikousui, Hiraishin, and Mayorimori where the attack is cancelled out. Give me Kawarimi Magic anyday...
About the report on Double Beast...it's a normal type chip. There's no damage counter so you can't use White Capsule or any bonus chips, which is kind of a bummer. It works similar to Master Style and Master Cross. I posted an article on it here
Also, wasn't the EXE5 secret chip "Leader's Raid"? The EXE5 Tribute PA is "Twin Leaders" of course. Oh well, shouldn't matter too much. XD _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

actually some of the anti elements you still take damage if you were right infron of the attack when used. for example a Billy uses his thunder ball and you are infront of it you still take damage but then Anti Elec kicks in and wipes the floor with the viruses. The same is for Element Trap, it doesn't kick in till the attack hits something which bites, but say Aquaman's water ball hits a panel it kicks in, the balloon fishes needles don't triger it till they hit a pannel or you. SO The down side to Element trap is it is triggered when something is hit, so wood tower wont triger it unless it hits you or an obstacle.
Well that is what appears to happen with me. Anti elements activate the second an attack is fired so that is the major difference, the anti elements are weaker but faster, element trap is slower but stronger. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

Heh, I never considered that. Then again, it's mainly because I overall prefer Kawarimi. But either way, Kakigenkin, Daikousui, Hiraishin, and Mayorimori are still more useful to me in most respects. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Against viruses Element Trap is perfectly fine, but when you use it against a human player it's not really that good. Say you use Element Trap while I'm in Tomahawk Cross and I fire off an 1100 damage non-flinching Risky Honey 3, that 240 is looking pretty bad since it doesn't break the chip like the antis did. So all in all Kawarimi is a staple defense now since Invisible is down to 3. |

Another thing that adds to Kawarimi Magic's value is that Body Guard can now be a * coded PA and deals 1000 base damage. Add White Capsule to that and that's an instant KO to anyone with standard 1000 HP. Throw in Full Synchro for an easy 2000 dmg. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

*a little about element trap*
I actually don't get hit when it's going to activate, it goes when the attack is used, so if someone uses a "Thunder" chip, it goes right when it launches or when [spoil:3c0dd7390e]Greiga[/spoil:3c0dd7390e] shoots it's fire breath, it's used when launched.
And do NOT use it when an elemental attack is in place because it will do nothing and the "????" will not be placed on the screen _________________

yes elec and fire instantly trigger Element trap, but wood and water have to hit something in order to trigger it. What is the Body Guard PA? anyways, Maybe then if I put it in my folder I could actually get Ground man SP, then I can focus on getting the other 10 or so higher navi chips I don't yet have. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

I don't remember if it's still the same as the past three games but it should be:
Kawarimi Magic * + Navi Scout * + Muramasa Blade *.
All three chips are standard now, although Muramasa Blade surpasses the 50MB limit for multiples, so you can still only have one. However, at least it does not count towards your Mega Chip limit like it did in the last games. Also, as there are no Dark Chips in the game, Muramasa Blade itself is now useable by all as it is no longer an evil class chip.
Bodyguard is a trap PA, just like Kawarimi Magic. Basically, 10 shuriken each dealing 100 dmg will home in on your opponent and strike like a continuous storm for a base of 1000 non-flinching damage. Nice. :D _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

It's not the same, Muramasa Blade isn't even involved anymore. The PA uses Kawarimi *, Navi Scout * and Shirahadori * (AntiSword). Doesn't mean it's much better being a trap either, someone with quick fingers can most likely out run it easily. But if you use Judgeman/Killerman before the first shuriken hits and had a White Capsule on it then you're fine. |

Thought Double Beast is a mega one.

*smacks head* Doh. The funny thing is while trying to remember how to form Bodyguard, at the same thing I was trying to remember the PA that involved Shirahadori and another trap. XD
Yeah, Double Beast is a mega chip, but of the normal class.
There's also the two X-coded secret chips, [spoil:d5b4c78b76]Greiga X[/spoil:d5b4c78b76] and [spoil:d5b4c78b76]Falzer X.[/spoil:d5b4c78b76] Sadly, those chips aren't as strong as you would hope. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)
