Rockman.EXE Transference: WIP: Chap. 6

I have been on a trip to my grandmothers and then to Maryland for my sisters wedding, sorry for not replying to things sooner.

Midnight, what I changed in the story are a bit small in some places from the original. Such as reworking the names of characters to those that appear in the anime as well as doing some grammical and spelling corrections that I missed when I first wrote the story. I also edited out some parts of it that after reading it over didn't flow right with the story, and the fact that you can't seem to find them makes me feel a bit happy because means my editing skills have been doing what I had hoped they would for those that have read it before.

For example, in Chapter 5, I changed the title and how the StarNavi's were introduced along with their operators. The battle had a bit of work done to it as well. Small changes that overall have an effect on the story as a whole.


Kitty-Chan, as much as I think you would like a little Forte x Netto action in the fic, I'm sorry to say that it won't happen. This isn't a love story or a lemon with yaoi or yuri action mixed into the plot. :P Sorry, the Trill does not have any effect on this old folf.

Sorry for the long delay, got caught up writing and doing other things. xD But here is the next revised and redone chapter!

Chapter Six: Net Saviors and the E.L.F. Plot

Tabby sits at her computer stations with her legs brought up so she can hug them, looking at the data listed in the windows before her. “It looks like E.L.F. hit two other places last night other then the theater.” She says, wiggling her feet slightly in her chair.

“They attacked a military data processing plant, and chemical plant that produces fuel components for rockets.” Core states, leaning back in his chair and looking at the ceiling."The last two I can kind of get, but that theater one is a bit of a puzzle to me. Why attack there?”

“Because Saito and Roll were there.” Booms a voice from the door, causing the two to practically fall out of their seats.

“Commander Beef! What brings you down here to the science and research department?” Tabby asks, sitting upright in her chair.

“The same thing that has had you two working on that encryption, the E.L.F.” Beef replies, walking up to the pair. “They attacked the theater in an attempt to delete Rockman and Meiru, and do the same to their operators most likely.”

“An assassination attempt!” Core shouts, bolting upright and looking at the fish finned man.

“Yes, I contacted Dr. Hikari about the attack to try and gather information for the reason why it would happen. First I thought it might just be that it was because it was his son and they wanted to hurt the good doctor. But the doctor told me that Netto and Meiru were involved in an accident during the battle that caused them to cross over into the digital realm and for their navi’s to do the same into our world. The only problem is that the navi’s are stuck in the bodies of their operators and vice versa for Netto and Meiru. The transfer is what put them both into the hospital.”

Core’s eyes widened behind his sunglasses as he recalls the night of the attack, both he and Tabby were at the hospital , staying a short distance away from the family and friends of the two youngsters. Both of them upset that they could not do more to have prevented the children from being harmed.

“Commander, requesting permission to go on special assignment to watch over those two.” Core states, standing up and looking at the man.

“Denied,” Beef says flatly as he looks at Core. “The both of you are going to work on the E.L.F. case in breaking that code of theirs, and I no longer have permission to allow you to give you an assignment."

"What are you talking about, you are the head of the Net Agents!" Tabby declares, standing up from her seat. "You are the only one that can assign missions to agents Commander."

"Not anymore I'm not." The man says, putting his arms behind his back and turning away from them. "Given the situations around the world with net crime and criminal organizations using it for terroist acts like the World Three did, the governments of the world have consolidated the different net protection groups into one group called Net Saviors. As a result I have been reassigned to another part of the world to head up another division, the new head of operations for Japan is Commissioner Kifune, you two will both be working for him."

“But, Core isn’t even an Official Net Battler or Net Agent its only honorary under the deal we have with him! How can he be put into such a team?” Tabby asks as she looks at Core, her hair swaying much like that of a tail of a kitsune.

Beef flings three program chips at the pair, two at Core and one at Tabby. “He is now, and those contain the information that you will need to load into your new PETs when they arrive from IPC. That other chip contains your file information Core, make sure you load that into your new PET as well, it will show that you are now officially licence to net battle anywhere on the net and in the city. Bring all of the data from your findings t the conference room 3B for your mission briefing with Commissioner Kifune. It was a pleasure working with you all.” He says sadly as he turns and leaves the room.

Tabby sighs as she sits back down into her chair and turns towards her computer, booting up the program she and Core uncovered earlier. "I'm going to be a while trying to get this program figured out, we still aren't sure what it is for or what it does even if it will run on my computer. Take what data we have to the meeting and bring X along with you so he can record everything for me to see later."

The dark brown haired boy grumbles as he clicks a few icons on his computer monitor and a hard cased mini-disc comes out of the driver with all the data. "You know I hate being in front of people making a presentation."

"I know." The girl smiles devilishly, "But you have to get over it sometime and nothing like jumping in head first to learn how."

"You owe me for this." Core states, placing the disc in his pants pocket along with the data chips.

Tabby waves him off, "I'll take you out for a pizza or something to make up for it. Just get out of here before you end up being late."



“THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!” Dekons voice booms as he looks at the data in front of him, "They all failed to take down those brats and their navi's while our other other objectives were successful. They are just children and yet some of our top battlers failed to take them out.”

“With all due respect, we all did what we could." Wyvern states, looking the man in the eyes. "Those navi’s that those children have are not just your run of the mill custom job.There was a third navi there as well, his power alone identifies him. You saw the data recorded from the battle, so you know what we were up against. The two other missions were a success, so I think that you should be happy with that.”

Dekon’s eyes flash with anger as the dark haired man speaks to him, “I tolerate you tone only because I still have further use of you still. But another outburst like that and I assure you, Wyvern that you I will forget your value and terminate you myself. Do I make myself clear!”

The room falls silent once more as Dekon looks around him, grinding his teeth as he does. “Good, now onto our next item of business.”

Dyna presses a button on the table top, causing a projector at its center to activate and show a floating holographic image of a cliff shaped like a skull surrounded by forest.

“This is all that remains of the hideout of the World Three after it was destroyed by the ultimate program, it is badly damaged and has yet to be found by the Net Agents." The white and green haired girl announces, "But thanks to my sisters research, we have found it and discovered a hidden weapon system inside. A rocket designed to launch a satilite that housed the ultimate progam and would allow Dr. Wily to take control of other satlilites in orbit, including ones for national defense launched my Ameropa and Sharo during their nuclear arms race that secretly housed nuclear weapons. The rocket and its systems are currently being repaired by my sister and members of E.L.F., and will house our own ultimate program navi.”

“To conclude gentlemen and ladies, once the rocket is lauched we will have control of forgotten nuclear weapons as well as power over the worlds communications, guidence systems, and a host of others. In short making the world ours." Dekon states with a smile, "There is only one thing that stands in our way, and that is the newly formed Net Saviors, but you all have your orders as to what you must and are to do. Soon my friends we will be the ones in power, and everyone will grovel at our feet like the gods we are. Dismissed!”

The projection turns off as the members of E.L.F. in on the meeting leave in silence, Dyna exits along side Wyvern down a hallway, they ducking into a small side room for janitoral supplies. The white haired girl leans her back against the wall as she slides down to the floor with her knees brought up to her chest, the man standing there with his arms folded over his chest.

"He is actually going to do this isn't he?" Dyna states sadly, "He means to actually try and end the world."

"It would seem that way Miss Dyna." The man says, lowering his head with his eyes closed. "I have to thank you for arranging for my escape from the police and the Net Agents. I am in your debt."

"Mistress Dyna, you have an email." Terra says from her PET.

“What is it?” Dyna asks, taking the PET from her hip and opening the file.

The screen flashes as streamers and glitter erupt from the email file, and another navi floats down to stand next to Terra as a banner floats reading 'Happy Birthday Dyna! We all love you'.

The girl smiles as she looks at the navi's on her PET screen. "Thank you, both of you."

“It was your sisters idea, and we both helped.” The navi next to Terra says, the female navi taller then him and dressed in armor similar to that of a valkyrie. "It is true that we all love you Miss Dyna, if it weren't for you we would still be trapped in that data compression file under quarentine.”

“Well, my sister did help also. She was able to unlock the security codes.” Dyna states with a smile, “But I am glad to have met you Uranus, and you also Terra, and the other Star Navi’s. I just…”

“It's okay Miss Dyna, we know that Dekon forced you into this and for using us as weapons for his elite net forces. You tried to save the others before he reprogramed them, at least you were able to save us." Terra says, lowering his head. "I shouldn't have allowed him to have the ultimate program. It is my fault that this is happening."

"No, it's not Terra." Dyna says to the navi, "He shot Gaea and was going to kill us if you didn't. Your value for life is a good thing, and don't think other wise or blame yourself for wanting to protect us. We have to try and set things right, and I have a plan."

This was quite a very good read, I'm eager to see what you'll pull in the next instalment.
