More defense? 3 Invisible and 2 Kawarimi is standard defense now. Dream Sword doesn't slow me when I have the Search Shuffle program to rearrange the window. More * Navis seems pointless because all the other Navis cause flinching which will cause the spread attack from the boiler to miss. Elementman's wood towers, Judgeman and Killerman don't cause flinching and it's impossible to add extras of any of them because they're all above 50 MB, IIRC. Plus Killerman/Judgeman hold the enemy in place so they don't just step under the Boiler and take 70 damage instead. |

My Folder rely's on two things: the fact that I have E-Mods, and several Program Advances. For the record, it's NOT cheating! My friend gave me an entire E-Mod set, and my Rockman is perfectly customized for ultimate virus busting and NetBattling success!! Anyway...
HP: 2449
NaviCust: SpeedMAX, ChargeMAX
Folder:
CactBal3 L
CactBal3 M
CactBal3 N
GunDelSol3 D x2
BugBomb *
YoYo D
YoYo E
YoYo F
AirSpin3 A
SpShake3 S
SpShake3 T
SpShake3 U
Magnum V
FastGauge *
NeoVariableSword V
JusticeOne J
Z Zaber Z
RollSP R
Django D
DjangoSP D
Otenko O
GunDelSol EX G (Preset)
CrossDivide C
MeteoKnuckle M
ForteAnother F
OmegaRocket R
Phoenix P
DarkDrill D
DarkWide T
I'm a HUGE Django/Bokura No Taiyou fan, so some of my chips are Django-themed. When I get Otenko on the field, then use Django, you're in for a WORLD of hurt!
A combo of mine is to use Magnum on the front row, then use MeteoKnuckle to hit the back row, cracking and/or destroying it. Then, I go into Knight Chaos, charge up JusticeOne, and free the beast!!! :D
Another is having Otenko on the field, then using my PileDriver!!
So, what do you guys think? _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

To be blunt, I really hope that you don't think this folder would win in any netbattles.
Really, look at the codes. Most folders are unicoded and dual coded, so by the time you get whatever program advance you need, you'll probably be dead by then.
Apart from that, you have way too much set up without fluid codes. It would never work, since you'll be limited to 1 or 2 chips per custom screen, while the opponent will probably be getting 4 or 5 at a time.
And furthermore, WHAT e-mods did you use? As far as my limited knowledge on them goes, I know there isn't any type of combination to give an additional 4 Gigachips without some sort of heavy penalty.
Disassemble and try again. That's all I have to say. _________________

What do I think? I'm quite sure this folder won't be doing much hurting when you're drawing maybe one or two chips a turn compared to my 5. >_>;
L, M, N, D, E, F, A, S, T, U, V, J, Z, R, O, G, C, P and *
These are all the codes your using, 19 counting * code. Most folders don't go above 1 letter code and *. I'm also quite sure theres no way you can get Giga Folder +4 from e-Reader mods, someone correct me if I'm wrong (give me specific cards and effects too so I know).
Seriously, slim down the folder majorly with actual useful chips and maybe it'll be better, if I sound harsh then I just do, it's the simple truth. |

This is basically the folder I had at the end of EXE 6, Greiga Version. And it did the job quite nicely.
3 Sword *
3 WideBlade B
3 LongBlade B
1 WideSword *
1 LongSword *
3 StepSword B
3 Boomerang B
3 Kawarimi *
3 AreaGrab B
1 QuickGauge *
3 Invis *
3 Kawarimi *
1 BlastManSP B
1 Blues EX
1 Blues SP
Cross: SlashCross.
It's pretty straightforward. Get into SlashCross and start firing off the Sonic Booms. You have your choice of the DreamBlade, DreamSword, or both. Invis and Kawarimi are standard defenses. The Boomerangs have a nice range and lay down Grass Panels, which help boost the BlastMan SP chip.
The Boomerang and BlastMan chips can be switched out for White Capsules and JudgeMan *. _________________

Here's a folder freshly made in EXE 6. It can be used with either version's crosses, Ground Cross and Dust Cross being most useful for Faltzer and Heat Cross and Charge Cross being most useful for Greiga. However, this folder generally fits better with Faltzer's Crosses.
3 x MachineGun1 *
3 x BigBomb O
3 x BlackBomb O
3 x BurnSquare3 O
2 x Rockcube *(1 preset)
3 x AirRaid2 O(1 tagged)
2 x FlashBomb1 *
1 x Timpani *
1 x Guardian O
2 x Barr100 O
3 x WhiteCapsule *
2 x Attack+10 *(1 tagged)
1 x Attack+30 *
1 x Blues *
1 x Killerman *
This is a slight varition on my usual sniping folders. Basically, you use Rockcube and Barriers for defense while waiting for BlackBomb, White Capsule and BurnSquare to show up in the custom. Throw the BlackBomb, and RIGHT when it lands, use BurnSquare with White Capsule attached. The opponent will have no opportunity to destroy the BlackBomb, and if you have good aim, you can hit with both the BurnSquare AND the BlackBomb in one shot. AirRaids with Attack+s or WhiteCapsules(if they weren't used on BurnSquare) along with Machine Guns and BigBombs(either on their own or for DustBeast chip charge) can be used from behind the Rockcubes or Guardian for support damage. Killerman and Blues are also for some extra support damage, and hitting your opponent's weakness(if applicable)
In Faltzer, get into Dust Cross and Beast Out when you get the BigBombs in the custom screen and use the chip charge. When Beast Out expires, go into Ground Cross and use the charge shot to both attack from behind the Rockcubes and to dodge enemy attacks.
In Greiga, simply use Heat/Charge Cross to pump up the power of the BlackBomb/BurnSquare.
Things to keep in mind:
-Be careful of the opponent using Dust Cross. If they use it, rely on the Barriers and Ground Cross' charge shot(if you're playing Faltzer) for defense, and whatever you do, don't place any Rockcubes or AirRaids or the Timpani or the Guardian. If they go into Dust Cross, you can still use the BlackBomb/BurnSquare for damage since time freeze is faster than the B+<. Wait for them to switch to something else, then you can let your AirRaids go to work. Also remeber that If you hit with Killerman or a Machine Gun, it will remove Dust Cross from the opponent.
-Whenever you use AirRaid, always put an Attack+ or a WhiteCapsule on it, otherwise it won't do too much.
-If you have the right chips in the custom, don't use Dust/Ground Cross right away, even though it's tempting. Use one of the others or none at all until you're sure what your opponent's strategy is.
-Don't Beast Out unless you're using the Beast Out Dust Cross chip charge, or if you're out of chips(which shouldn't happen with this folder before the opponent is wasted). Since both Beast Out's busters need line of slight, it doesn't really help this folder.
-Even though Rockcube is for defense, don't stay behind it all the time. Tengu Cross will punish you for that. However, if the opponent DOES use Tengu Cross, hit them with Blues. It'll do 150 damage and destroy the Cross.
-Don't use Killerman or Blues unless your opponent Crosses with Dustman or Tenguman. Hit those crosses with their weakness, as they can destroy this folder's main support and defense.
-Place one Rockcube in your middle front panel, and the other either above or below it. If you get Guardian on your first turn, put it on the front middle panel instead of a Rockcube.
-Don't place an AirRaid/Timpani/Guardian/BlackBomb if one of those is on the field, or it'll go to waste. Only 2 Rockcubes and one other thing can be summoned at a time. Use the AirRaids/BlackBombs first if you can, since they're temporary.
-When Timpani plays, use Ground Drill if you can. Since the opponent will be unable to move, the drill will land 3 hits regardless of position(someone want to confirm this?)
-If you want to preserve Ground Cross and your opponent has Killer Cross, go Dust Cross at the beginning of the battle. Then, if your opponent goes into Killer Cross to hit your weakness, go into Tengu Cross and hit THEIR weakness. That way, Ground Cross is safe. If you're playing Greiga, don't look too much into protecting your Crosses, though, as they're only for pumping up the fire chips' power.
-Throw BlackBombs at your opponent's center panel if possible. That way, you're guaranteed to hit both the BlackBomb AND your opponent with a BurnSquare(unless you target YOUR side of the field with the BurnSquare, which is generally a BAD idea).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it. I'll be posting another sniping folder for EXE 6 here later, hopefully. ^_^ _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

you know how you can fight Nebula Grey Omega after you get all 7 icons and he's uber hard? well, i got him down to 615 HP or something like that. my HP was like 200 and i was shooting at him. he hit me and Mega Man became angry. now, i was down to my last chip, which was ChaosLords (500 DMG) and i had to keep shooting Nebula Grey to get his HP down to 500. when he hit Mega Man, i was sooooo happy because that attack power doubled and i kicked his ass! WOOHOO!!! that was in the Team Protoman version of MMBN5 on the DS. anyhoo, here's my chip folders and such...

...and that's all of it. wow, that took a while to type. i noticed that my two chip folders have a lot of similarities between them :D . i just destroy my friend with my ToC folder. it's funny - he'll spend the day devisnig strategies and i STILL kick his ass! that being said, i wish i knew more ppl that played MMBN so I can have other competition. if PETs were real, NetBattling would be all that i did. whoa, random thought :! ...wouldn't it be funny if Capcom and Nintendo decided to make the DS into a PET? _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

Those folders both are very...um...random. It seems you just go for powerful chips...which works again big bosses like NG, but against a real opponent, you might have troubles. I don't know anything about your friend...but if you destroy him when he uses strategies, it's probably simply because he plays too slowly. Speed is a big issue, and if you can only select 1-2 chips per turn when your opponent is using 3 or more, you'll fall behind.
I don't know what your basis is, so I can't really make any suggestions. Maybe use BOTH custom programs, along with Number/Search Soul, and it MIGHT work. _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

Finally, someone else who actually uses charge shots. ^_^
I myself use ScopeGun and Ground Drill a lot...
Also, you shouldn't need to use Recovs at all. Just stick to Barrier or Invis for defense...preventing damage is better than healing it, IMO.
May I also suggest using AttackMAX, or a BusterPack and Attack+1? Having level 5 Attack stat with either FCR helps a lot. Also, why do you use 2 UnderShirts? o.O _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

Oh, but the effect of just one Undershirt is infinite. You can keep surviving at one HP if you Recover with, say, grass panels. _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

A slightly revamped version of my previous folder, changes being made after I received some feedback from the HQ.
Slashing Double Cross
3 Sword *
3 WideBlade B
3 LongBlade B
3 StepSword B
3 Boomerang B
3 AreaGrab B
3 Invis *
3 White Capsule *
2 Kawarimi *
1 QuickGauge *
1 BlastManSP B
1 Blues EX
1 Blues SP
Exchanged the DreamSword and a Kawarimi for a couple of White Capsules. It's infinitely easier to S Rank Navis now (not that it wasn't possible before).
By the way, awesome folder there, Kiruka. _________________

May I reccomend Killerman *? That way, if someone pulls Ground Cross or Dust Cross on you to get rid of your Slash Cross, you can nail them before they have a chance to. Plus, Killerman's just all round useful anyway. Get rid of either the Blues EX or one of the Invis for it. After all, if you have Super Armor in the NaviCust, you shouldn't need too much defense, even when going in for the attack.
Nice folder too. ^_^ I could never use it, though. I used to use swords, but then I realized how completely screwed I am if my opponent out-grabs me or uses GrabRevenge. Whereas sniping works anywhere, anytime. _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

Not really about the chips. I can choose 8 chips at a time, and half the time, a P.A does come in. But I'll take your advice and try disassembling it to make it work more for me. But my Helz Rolling does 100 dmg per hit, so I could take them down even without chips. And I've got SprArmor, BugStop, Rush Tango, and Beat set into the E-Mods. The only thing that could beat me is ForteXX, and it took me 4 1/2 hours to beat him.
The E-Mods I used were:
WoodMan
ElecMan
Blues
BombMan
MagicMan
HeatMan
GateMan
FlashMan
KingMan
TomahawkMan
Netto's Custom
Dekao's Custom
Tora's Tactics
LifeVirus
Alpha
Duo
ForteXX
Dad's Repair Custom
Saito Hikari
ForteCrossRockman
But WHAT does the MB thing in the top-right hand corner mean? Cause it's stayed at 0, and I've got more than half a dozen E-Mods set. _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

Whoa, nuts much? o.O I only ever use FCR, and that's to unlock the secret Forte Fights.
The amount of cards you can use is limited by MB. However, there's a code to bypass that, which everyone uses.
3 x MachineGun3 F
3 x FlashBomb3 P
4 x BurnSquare1 P (1 tagged)
3 x Magnum F
3 x CircleGun P
2 x Rockcube *
1 x Anubis P
1 x Heavy Gauge * (preset)
3 x Invisible *
3 x WhiteCapsule * (1 tagged)
1 x Attack+30 *
1 x Killerman *
1 x Judgeman *
1 x Forte/Forte Another F
This folder is fairly straightforward in execution. Use the BurnSquares, CircleGuns, and Magnums for a total of 1240 damage. In between each one(when possible), use either a WhiteCapsule, Flash Bomb, Killerman or Judgeman to get rid of flinching and leave them paralyzed for you to slaughter. Rockcubes and Invis for defense, Anubis for constant support damage, Heavy Gauge to give you time to use your aiming chips if you don't get the paralysis stuff, MachineGuns for support damage along with Forte/Another with Attack+30 for more support damage.
Crosses: Killer in Greiga(to pump up aiming chips), Ground in Faltzer(to mix in the Ground Drill with your other attacks).
Things to keep in mind:
-Don't waste Anubis. Only use it if you know for SURE that the opponent isn't using Dust Cross, or has already used it. If they use it, hit them with almost anything to kill it.
-Remember that despite the time freeze aiming chips can take care of most opponents, you have to AIM them. If you can't aim, this folder isn't for you.
-Paralyze after EVERY flinching attack(aside from Forte), or at least use an Invisible. Anything to let you either attack again or wait for the flinching to wear off. If the opponent uses Invisible, use either Killerman, FlashBomb, Judgeman, or Killer's Death Beam(Greiga) to get rid of it.
-If they use Kawarimi, just rapid fire your buster at them to get rid of it, then put the hurt on them.
-Attack+30 only goes on MachineGun3/Forte. It's wasted on anything else.
-WhiteCapsule is only for flinching chips. Resist the urge to put it on a MachineGun3, seriously.
-Even if you get the Anubis out, don't focus on defending it too much. It's only meant to distract the opponent and damage them a little. The important damage is the 10 aiming chips.
-In your NaviCust, try to find a way to use either SearchShuffle or NumberOpening(if you aren't going to use BusterPack for the Ground Drill/Killer's Death Beam). That way, you're almost guarenteed to pull out at least one, if not two combos of aiming+paralyze each turn. Custom1 or Custom2 helps as well.
-If the 10 aiming chips and Forte with Attack+30(1960 damage from those), isn't enough to kill the enemy(don't forget 300 from FlashBomb3s, 100 from Judgeman, and 120 from Killerman), then just go Beast Out(oh, and the however many hits of 70 you can get with MachineGun3s, and however much damage Anubis ends up doing) and buster their ass. _________________ Check out my EXE fics:

Let's abuse Elec Cross today, shall we?
Tank Cannon 3 P x3
Yoyo * x3
Doll Thunder 2 P x3
Big Bomb P x3
Flash Bomb 3 P x3
Triple Shoot * x3
Full Custom * [Preset]
Invisible * x3
Kawarimi * x2
White Capsule * x3
Heatman/Blastman/Elementman *
Killerman *
Judgeman *
Cross: Elec (Obviously)
Navi Customizer Setup: Bug Stopper, Custom +1, Custom +2, HP +300, Super Armor, Attack +1 x2, First Barrier
The whole point of this folder is to get around flinching entirely by using Elec Cross's Power Leak chip charge to make the chips cause stunning instead of flinching. The only flinching chips the folder has at that point are Doll Thunder 2 and Heatman/Blastman/Elementman (Can't decide on which to use, they're a slight counter against Tomahawk Cross which slows down the folder from the Status Guard ability and Kiruka would nag at me if I wasn't using at least one of them XP) and White Capsule takes care of that plus gives Doll Thunder 2 +50 damage. If need be I have Elec Cross's charge shot that reaches the length of the field and does 100 damage. |
