I'm just curious to what people think of the PSP against the Nintendo DS.
I have a DS and I think its pretty awesome, they just need to get some more good games out (wario ware gets old after a while). As for the PSP that looks pretty cool too and they have a great selection of launch titles. |

I love my Nintendo DS. :) The PSP is pretty cool too, but so far, not many of the games actually interest me. :/ |

I hate to say this but I think the PSP looks awsome. I saw a student use one during art class and I thought it looked awsome.
However im still thinking of getting a DS considering that its gonna have an internet server. |

I have a DS, and I couldn't be happier. PSP looks disappointing. I won't be getting one most likely, unless they make it so it can play regular Playstation games. MegaMan Legends on the go is reason enough for me to shell out three hundred, or whatever the price is... _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

Teh, seems like Sony got lazy with PSP. My friend had a jap one and he dropped it from like 8 inches, it broke. (this is no lie xD.) DS seems kinda like a gameboy advance fused with an sp. Kinda scary if you think real hard but i like DS better. And besides, PSP in the states is like $200. _________________

DS all the way, remember your roots fools. I don't like Sony much, I bet they're going to have "GTA PSP" or some crap like that. |

Plus, Nintendo sells cheaper! =D
So stay away from any product labeled with, "Sony" or something. _________________

8 inches? -_-; thats a turnoff.
i love my gba because its so solidly built (ive dropped it more times than i can count T_T )
right now, i dont either, and i probably wont. Unless there is a surefire reason to get one of them, or they go down in price by about 50-100$. |

'remembering your roots' is good and all BUT (A) Sony products aren't all bad I have a Playstation 1 and 2 and a Vaio computer and no trouble with any of them. (B) Of course they're gonna have a GTA Psp but no one is making anyone buy it when it does come out. (C) I have a DS and I love that and today I put a PSP on layaway at kmart, and I'm looking forward to use both systems. In my opinion they're both great handhelds. |

PSP will get better. Nintendo has a more success rate in the handheld department so it might take a while for Sony to catch up. _________________

I will probably get a PSP over a DS, though not time soon. I'll just wait till that price drops, its not worth it as of yet. Unless I could get lucky enough to win one or something. _________________ (( X-cessively Excesive ))

I'm willing to bet you can buy one for a much cheaper price if Sony didn't force everyone to buy those stupid "Value" Packs. Not everyone likes the stuff they package with those things. =/ _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. The only difference is that you don't get weird looks for talking to them. |

I personally prefer the DS, but as long as Sony works out most of the kinks in the PSP I might get it when it comes out in Australia(I hope that it's November which is my birthday)I mean all the faults in it when it came out in Japan like the UMDs flying out of the PSP and lodging in people skulls -_-; _________________ I am Reaver.EXE from the old forums

Already have a DS, it's great.
PSP is already a huge disappointment. As usual, Sony's being lazy with the first models of their new console. PS2 had the Disc Read Error problems that turned early models into $300 doorstops, now PSPs have 1000 times the dead pixel rate of regular LCDs, the disc falls right out during gameplay, battery life is horrible, it breaks like peanut brittle, etc.
Although I'm guessing that the PSP will improve over time like the PS2 did, I sure ain't touching the early models with a ten-foot pole. _________________ Math problems? Call 1-800-[(10x)(13i)^2]-[sin(xy)/2.362x]. |

I'm favoring the DS currently.
The PSP has a few games that interest me out/coming out, but the DS has both more games out currently that I like as well as more games coming that I'm interested in. |

I have a DS and am not planning to get a PSP.
The DS wins in games, durability, and design. Warioware Touched > j00. |

Indeed.
Are the rumors true about the PSP's notoriously short battery life? _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Yeah, my friend said it sucked. Why would you spend $200 on something with low battery life and can break easily? Sure it can play DVDs and MP3s, but the DS can too, it has special cartridges for that coming soon. |
