| at the end of mm&bass after playing with bass... wily says something about king2. i heard that king2 is zero.. but its prolly not true. so anyone know anything else? |

| King2 is NOT Zero. At all. Because Blues destroys the King2 project. Besides. King2 looks just like the original King. |

sry i didnt notice that part. protoman destroys the king2 project... too bad....
oh well, but what about that power fighters 2 game? never heard of it..
all ive played is mmbn's and rockman x4 and now playing 1,2,3 and 7 and rockman's power battle in callus95... |

"The Power Fighters" was originally an arcade game (sort of a sequel to "The Power Battles"), but I think it's an unlockable feature on the classic series anniversary collections.
And, yes, Zero is Zero and no one else. He might have even been under construction when King was out doing his thing.

Wily accidentally discovered "Fortenium" and Forte was made, since FOrte didn't come out the way Wily wanted, King was made, and defeated of course, then Zero was created
Of course King 2(Plans were destroyed anyway) isn't Zero, but King is still an important part of his creation :3
If King 2's plans were never made... whew

| i read somewhere (don't remember where. x1 manual, maybe?) that Dr. Cain made Zero. i know this isn't true (saw the end of Power Fighters), but maybe he made a red long-haired reploid and named him Zero. or he could have seen the plans for Zero, stashed away somewhere. |

See MegaMan X4. I'm not one hundred percent sure on how this all worked out, but:
Sigma(when he was a Maverick/Irregular Hunter) battled Zero, and Zero was CLEARLY winning(infact I believe he was about to decapitate Sigma). Then Zero starts going nuts and a "W"(meaning "Warning" or perhaps "Wily"... or something else) appears on the little blue gem on his forehead. Sigma takes advantage of this and shatters said blue gem. I think this is when the Zero Virus transfers to Sigma and later makes him go insane too, but I'm not 100% on that either.
After that, I believe Zero is taken back to the Maverick/Irregular Hunter HQ, and eventually put in charge of some of the Maverick/Irregular Hunters, and then I believe X actually ends up working in that same unit with Zero as a lower ranking Hunter.
My knowledge of the X series is really limited(I've only played X1-4), but I think I got at least some of that right. X Series Fanboys, girls, or aliens feel free to yell at me if this is horridly innacurate.

If you read that in the X one manual I think that may be because there's like a three year gap between X one and Power Fighters; that may've been something they decided to add later. That or it's a poorly translated manual, or just a mistake. Of course, in X two Sigma says something about Zero being the last of the doctor's creations... he mighta meant Cain, he mighta meant Wily really... how he'd know about Wily is confusing, so I'm guessing that it was something thrown in somewhere between games. Probably Capcom changing their minds or something.
Once again, if I'm wrong, X series nuts, bash my head in. :D

if you play megaman x 4 with zero the first movie you see is a movie with zero sleeping to be awakend by a shadowy figure (wily) that tells zero that Megaman is what keeps him going in life and to "go and destroy him".
and in megaman x 2 sigma tells zero that he is the "last of the docters creations". and in megaman x 5 sigma tells zero that he "met a old man that knowa alot about you" and like i already said in "Megaman the Power Fighters" Dr. Wily show the plans to zero to bass. so there is no why the wily couldn't have made zero ^-^

I mean maybe CAPCOM changed their minds BEFORE or at the same time X3 came out(which I believe was the same year the Power Fighters came out), because before that, you could've taken it either way.  If one of the manuals said Cain made Zero, then the games said he's the last of the "doctor's creations", signs could point either way. I know all about X4 and X5's blatantly obvious notations of the fact that Zero is Wily's creation.
That or it's a mistranslated manual. We seem to get a few of those...

Well X is the "First of a new generation of Robots". Naturally his ancient systems might not be as capable as the other Robots'. I don't remember anything about X not supposed to go after Vile, though. Zero says something about how he shouldn't feel bad about being almost slaughtered by Vile because he hasn't reached full power yet, but that's about it really, as I remember.

still even if you look at it like that the last creation of Dr.Cain is Dubble from Megaman X4 he was built to be a Spy and he did that really well (For Sigma that is)

Your Point is that Capcom Hired a REALLY REALLY bad translator for the First Megaman X Game Manual ^-^
