DVD update: Beast Volume 1 announced! (possible spoilers)

In case anyone is curious, here's an update on the status of Rockman EXE DVDs in Japan. If you want to order them online, I recommend one of these sites:

The biggest news is that the first volume of Beast is due out July 19th. It seems the DVD will contain 3 episodes instead of the usual 2 (as EXE has done since the original series). So, presumably, there will be 6 volumes then (with 4 episodes for the final volume; not unlikely since Axess and Stream's final volumes have 4 episodes on them).

I wasn't able to find this chunk of news on any English sites for the DVDs, but I was able to come across a page for it on this site:

As for Stream? They're trying to pump them out faster, so they're releasing two at a time. (They did the same for Axess.) Volumes 13 and 14 were simultaneously released recently. 15 and 16 are due out June 21st, and the final volume is due out July 19th. This means it will coincide with Beast 1's release. Interesting... we may be seeing Beast+ on DVD reeeeeeeally soon.

All of the covers except for Stream 17 and Beast 1 have been revealed. Some sites only have a few while others have them all; some even have the back covers. Just check out the links I gave above and you'll find them.

I love how non-representative Stream 14 is. (Actually, it could be considered the only DVD cover that has anything to do with the episodes on it.) They really should have used Gyro Soul instead, but oh well.

Those are pretty cool. One of the good things to come out of stream was some of the good designs. This would be a entertaining boxset to have.

Play-Asia and CD-Japan now have pages up for Stream 17 and Beast 01, but there are still no cover shots. I'm sure they'll be here in... mmm, maybe about less than a month.

I assume you mean episode 45, "Stellar Memory?" That's not on Stream 17, no. That's on 16. (Contains 45, 46, and 47.)

I was shocked to discover the cover art for #11 is actually pretty sloppy. If you look closely the forearm ring on R Napalmman would go through Nenji's arm...

Well, yes about the biased bit but no, I wouldn't care to bear children as I hear it's painful.

Well, without drawing a diagram the best i can explain is there is a ring on Napalm's elbow, however here they've drawn it below the elbow, so that in the pose it'd have to physically pass through his arm and elbow.

I sorta see what you mean. It kinda looks like his forearm is disconnected from the bicep and is just floating in place. Still not drastic enough to call the entire cover sloppy, IMO... and it wouldn't be the first time the artists have screwed up one of CF Napalmman's arms.

It's not. That feature was eliminated for some reason. Not sure what it is exactly, but I assume it was some kind of user-abuse. I figure moderators should be a little gracious with double-posting until everyone gets the memo, so no big.

Though I technically want all of these, I especially want everything from Stream 13 to Stream 17. That starts with the Dark Rockman appearance and the series started to get good.
