Ryuusei no Manga preview

I don't believe there are any spoilers here (nothing about the story is revealed, just a few terms and stuff), so I don't think I really need the spoilers tag. But just in case...

If you have no knowledge of Ryuusei no Rockman (Megaman Star Force), hit that back button!

Artist: Masaya Itagaki

Publisher: Coro Coro (Regular, monthly)

Target: Children

Overall summary: This is... completely different than the EXE manga done by Ryo Takamisaki. EXE was borderline Children and Teen, but this Ryuusei manga is aimed at children. Period. The artwork is completely different, as you can see from the previews. There's a lot of nose-picking in the first chapter, which really tells you that this IS aimed at kids. Overall, it does have its good points, depending on what you see as humorous.

It certainly looks interesting...although I'm not that fond of the art style. I mean, I like it and all...but it's just...odd compared to EXE. I wasn't oo crazy about it for the Zero manga ether.

I do have it, I get it every month for Boktai XD

I'm also fairly busy. I might have the chapter summary up by Friday or Saturday, if there's enough interest in my doing so.

And yeah, WarRock does look a bit more... moster-like? Naw, let's just go with 'more scary'.

I think it looks kinda cool. Subaru and the Rockman form look really buff and abnormally huge compared to the anime/official art we've seen. Even without a menacing War Rock he's like stockier or something. The style is different, but I'd say it looks better than the Zero manga, since the eyes aren't all huge and odd looking for the main character. Well, at least these 3 samples weren't. Warrock looks really cute. I'm not fond of the art style of the manga. It reminds me a lot like the Zero manga, and I wasn't too fond of that art style either. But I guess it'll *hopefully* improve. When I get the chance to, I'll buy the manga, for story and collection purposes. =P Thanks for showing the scans, Malik-Chan. ^_^

I have the very first chapter of it in my CoroCoro.
It has a 2 page color spread of the characters, and it is NICE!
I really like this art, especially when colored. :]
Anyone want me to scan the entire chapter?

Sure thing! I'll see what I can do. It will take a while to scan it all, because it is a 40 some page chapter. It doesn't really make much sense, it is like a mild version of Bobobo and Fooly Cooly....WHICH I LOVE! Laughing

The art style reminds me alot of the Pokemon Adventure art style, don't ask why I was reading that, it was two in the morning and facfic wasn't working.

I'd love to see the whole chapter, you think, it would be possible to do scanlations?

Well it's just an idea, but sometimes, summaries don't really cut it.

Well, there's probably people around willing to do the translation work so as long as you can get the quality raw scans it's possible.

Well, the most I can offer is just cleaning the scans, and/or typesetting, and maybe a little colouring.

We would have to rely on other sources for the quaility scans. Then there is the problem of uploading them for other people to read...
