Topic.
Anyone got the game yet? It's seriously the best game of the last decade. \^o^/
I've already beat it and .... oooh! XD Can't tell what happens when you get all stars!
Well if you can't resist.... once you get all 120 stars, you unlock Super LUIGI Galaxy. XD The game gets a bit weird since... Luigi IS part of the game. Once you get all 120 stars on the extra Luigi game as well, you unlock one extra star mission, for the 121st star, played in the stage you actually explore in the beginning of the game before the cutscene. _________________ SPOILER:

Stop making me jealous! I wish I had Galaxy...
But I have to share the Wii with my brother.

Was it worth buying the other consoles for a game? And don't forget about the other games that are out and coming out. Like in February for instance. |

It's technically the game of this decade. I think it's worth it.
To put it in geek terms. If Super Mario 64 was x, Super Mario Galaxy is e exponential x. _________________ SPOILER:

What a wonderful review. (Really. Sony sponsered? And also comparing graphics alone. Fuhjebus.)>_>
Super Mario Galaxy could be the game of the decade. Maybe Brawl will surpass it, but only time will tell.
(I can't stop listening to the orchestrated music in SMG, it's so nice.) _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.

If you want a review, fine. :p
For starters. It's Wii's current graphics at its best. They look colorful and toonily realistic, and they managed to even get light blooms, fogs, gleams and reflections perfectly. You'll even see crystals encasing items distort the images. Even closeups still look good, and everything bumps to perfection. :D I couldn't belive myself that this was for Wii. The camera works fine, follows you smoothly, although it's not perfect, but it's close to it.
I don't need to tell you about how BEAUTIFUL its soundtrack is. Features memorabilia, galactic tunes that will make you feel like a 5 years old child that looks up in the nightsky stargazing and gawking at the beaut of the cosmos, or playful tunes that'll give you a fun time bouncing around toys, or arias that will make you soar into the sky blown by the winds, and many many more tracks. Can't wait for the CDs!
Gameplay.... astounding. Every stage is a brand new experience, you'll never feel them growing old on you! The game features a really balanced difficulty curve, with easy tasks in the beginning, that become more and more challenging as you go on with the game.
They gave a lot of freshness into every stage, as you'll find little tricks that you'll be able to perform only into that stage. And above them all, there are SO MANY STAGES! I think around 40 galaxies, with stars ranging from one to seven. The game isn't always in 3D, you'll find parts where the action switches to full 2D, alas old Super Mario Bros.
Powerups aren't there just for show, they're part of the game as you'll need 'em to advance, making them not just gimmicks. And the 6 that were shown are not all.... once you're able to go to the gate, around after 40-50 stars or so, you'll play a mission in the gate, which lets you use a red star which lets you fly! Fly like with the Wing Cap back then, but much BETTER! As in you can actually really fly up and down, and not just glide!
As a little extra, you'll be able to also listen to a little tale, which tells about the backstory of Rosalina. It tastes a little bittersweet, but it's still quite charming, and besides, you don't have to listen to it. Just go in the library to listen to it if you want, otherwise you can just skim over it.
The game features a LOT of old faces, dry bones, magikoopas, goombas, koopas, boos, kataquacks... even Luigi plays a role into the game! And make sure, it's a comical one. Toads also do more than just flailing around, as they make quite a funny comic relief as well. Alongside Luigi's misadventures.
In short. It's one huge blast of FUN! And once you're done collecting all stars, you think the game's over? Hehe! Not quite yet! There's replay value! LUIGI TIME! The game is more intense as you play as him... and you'll end up into some awkward moments where Luigi meets Luigi! And once you beat the game with Luigi you unlock the Gran Finale stage, for your last star. _________________ SPOILER:

The Lumas were adorable. ;-; I was emotional while reading the storybook. I don't see how the reviewers thought it was a bad thing...
The Lumas dying while shouting 'Wheee!" when flying in the void made me sad also. _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.

They didn't die. Haven't you heard Rosalina's tale? Or the hungry Lumas, for instance? They just are reborn like planets, and when they die, they turn into stardust and into Lumas once again. Pretty much, the galaxy was collapsing because of Bowser's supernova, but then the Lumas flied in to recreate the universe. ^_^
But it was so AWESOME and touching. I particularly loved when Mario's Luma waved him goodbye. Once you get all 120 stars, there's a little extra about it. ^^ _________________ SPOILER:

Heh, sorry, forgot about that.
The Lumas being...."reincarnated" saddens me still. _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.

Don't worry about that. Beat the game with all stars and you'll find out a little bit more about it. ^_^ _________________ SPOILER:

Got this game yesterday. What a wonderful game.
I couldn't stop playing it, though I freaked out a bit at the bosses.
It's really fun, aside from the fact I completely FAIL at 3D Mario games. >_>
(I spent around 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do with the 5 Pull Stars so I just circled around, until I accidentally drifted off and got the Star. >_>) _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.

I am definitly getting this game, I've rented it to see how truly amazing it is (As me being a Fan of Mario for 19 years) AND IT IS AWSOME!!!
I literly had to get help from my sister and brother for some of the parts with the stinking Bulletbills! (Thats what their called right..dang been awhile) I only had it till yesterday (Sunday) before my brother took it back to the rentalstoreT_T..I just unlock Luigi too..
I say this game definitly gets a 11 out of 10 for being one of the Best Wii games out there! And Mario games of course!
If your wondering, I've rented it on Wednesday in case one of you asks how long the rental was. |

Not in cruelty,
Not in wrath
The REAPER came today
An ANGEL visited
this gray path
And took the cube away.
That's right. The Wii is gone. A day of bliss. *sigh* >_> _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
