Sorry. My bad. When I moved the pictures to Photobucket, I somehow made a mistake with the URL. Anyway, it's all up again.

CHAPTER 6
INFESTATION
"Now, which virus should we pick on?" Luna's eyes darted around the Densan network, looking for potential virus. Her excitement obviously shows.
"Let's just hope it's not too strong. After all, this is just practice." Roll paced around, hoping to encounter only the small, weak virus.

Minutes has passed, and still no sign of any virus...
"This is getting scary! We haven't encountered any virus for the past week!" Meiru gasped. She recalled that everything has been too quiet as of late. Not even the disbanded World 3 could give her this much scare.
"Wait! There's one!" Luna pointed out to a lone Metool. The Metool saw them from afar and instantly charged at them, a behavior that Roll noticed as odd.
"Wait a second! Metools aren't aggressive, even if we enter its territory!"
Luna looked at Roll, and said "Tell that to the virus attacking us right now!"
The Metool swung its pick-axe to the ground, sending a shockwave to the two. Roll moved out of the shockwave's path, while Luna merely jumped over it.
"Well, there's no time to argue, is there?" Roll pulled out her Roll Arrow, and immediately let out an arrow at the virus. The virus received the arrow straight on, and was immediately deleted.
"Hey look! There's two more!" As Meiru pointed at the pair of Metools, the virus charged at them again. "Let me take care of this one, Roll!" Luna stepped up, and pulled out her Roll Arrow. She quickly released a volley of shots, all of which found home. The pair of virus was deleted in seconds.
"There! Another one! And this time, there's four!" Meiru directed the two Navis behind them. Roll and Luna didn't waste much time to dispose of the Metools. As quickly as the virus appeared did they get deleted.
"That was the first time we battled three batches of virus in a row..." said Meiru, wondering how the virus suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Before she could speak again, panic took the words out of her mouth. Thunderstruck, she just pointed out for Roll and Luna...
The two Navis, anxious to look at what Meiru was pointing at, saw the jaw-dropping sight...
The whole Densan network is slowly being swarmed by virus, as far as the eye can see!
"What the–!!" Luna blurted out in her astonishment. She never expected to encounter so many virus. Even her spunk would mean nothing to the horde they are suddenly facing.
"Oh no! What do we do, Meiru?!" asked Roll as she shared the same expression in Luna's face.
Meiru panicked. Adrenaline rushed through her body, as she unconsciously called out. "Battle routine!! Set!!"
Roll pulled out her weapon again as she nervously answered back. "E-execute!!"

Meiru searched her folder, looking for chips. Meanwhile Roll and Luna were deleting virus one by one. Luna, who doesn’t need any Operator’s assistance, let out all sorts of weapons at them.
Luna shouted in the commotion. "Program Advance! Battle Chip Sword! Wide Sword! Long Sword! Life Sword!!" Immediatley, she swung the Life Sword at the hoard, instantly deleting 50 virus in one shot.
Meanwhile, Meiru found the chips she needed and sent them to Roll. "Program Advance! Battle Chip Spreader Slot-In! Hyper Burst!!" Roll's hand changed into a pair of huge cannons, overflowing with energy. Roll just shot at the virus without aiming, but all shots landed on a virus. In a split second, she also deleted 50 virus.
However, the virus kept on coming. Losing a hundred didn't greatly reduce the swarm. They only slowed down their march.
In all the confusion, Cannons were able to land shots at Luna, sending her flying to the ground. With Luna's attack coming to a halt, the virus were able to come up closer. Roll kept using chips and her Heart Slash, but to no avail. Slowly, she is being cornered. "Roll! Don't give up!" said Meiru, who has actually lost hope in the battle.
From out of nowhere, a very familiar voice was heard. "Fuujin Racket!" In an instant, all the virus around Roll was sent flying to the air. Some were deleted right away from the great force of the wind.
Roll and Meiru saw what they were eager to see. "Rockman!"
Rockman ran up to Roll, seeing if she is fine. "I'm okay! But Luna..." She pointed behind her and Rockman saw a motionless Luna.
"Roll! Jack-out with Luna! I'll handle this!" Roll was reluctant to leave Rockman, but she finally agreed. Luna was conscious, but the pain of a dozen or more Cannons hitting her at once paralyzed her. She signaled Meiru to jack-out. Meiru nodded, and jacked-out both of Roll and Luna.
Meiru immediately called on Netto. "Netto! W-what's going on?"
"It's a long story! To make it short, all virus in every network has appeared here!"
"H-how did you know this?!"
"Enzan called yesterday and warned me of the coming swarm! It has already appeared in Jawaii and Creamland, destroying anything connected to the Net! Now it has moved here in Densan!"
Meiru was shocked to here this. The image of all virus converging to Densan gave her chills. Meanwhile, Roll was giving Luna some of her energy, helping her to recover.

Back at the entrance to the Densan Network, Rockman kept swinging his fan, easily keeping the virus at bay...

OK...strange. You say EVERY virus? Wouldn't that overload the system?
Oh, and what is the plural of virus? I have heard it "viruses," and "virii." I suppose the latter is more proper, as this word is derived from Latin, but I guess it's up to you.
Nice picture again. I really hope that you enjoy drawing them all.
