I would say that he's a nice, caring kid who is the best of friends with his net navi, Mega Man and has the usual "male" problems with Mayl (come on, haven't you ever been nervous around a girl). :]

I think the name "Lan Hikari" sounds way better than "Hikari Netto"
Lan is awsome..but Megaman will always be my number one favorite character of any show or game. As you can see. *Points to avatar*

Personally I like Lan. His relationship with Mega Man is amazing and I really like how his character has developed. Sure he has his quirks, but who doesn't? His manga version came as a surprise but I thought it was a unique and interesting one.

Whee, I have a feeling I'll be attacked for this, but I personally really dislike Lan/Netto. It's pretty simple - when Axess rolled around, the series flopped for the fact that Netto began to surpass Rockman as the main character. RockmanEXE is supposed to be about the fourth incarnate of Rock Man, hence the title. Cross Fusion took a turn from being Rockman and Netto fused to coming across as just Netto parading around in a Rockman suit. Rockman is getting less and less time and has pretty much taken a backseat to Netto as the main character of the series. Don't get me wrong, Netto as a character is likable in my opinion, I just don't like how the show is handling him, seeing as he's an EXE-specially made character, not having incarnates in X, Classic, or Legends.

I love Netto! I find him adorable. He never understands anything, only thinks in play and eat, always is late and sometimes he gets angry easily. Somehow reminds me to myself XD. And he is a funny character with a good heart. I like too the fact that Netto isn´t so dense as he shows, because when the thing is about machines or something that he likes he learns quickly.

The only thing that I don´t like about Netto is that sometimes he is too harsh with the poor Rockman.

Main characters always appeal fascinating to me in every anime series I watch on tv. Their character traits develop and improve while the show progresses and Hikari Netto happens to be one of those main characters. He's been my favorite character since the start and he's so hilarious to watch. I also like how he changes over the series about his relationship with his friends and his rivals, especially the episodes when Rockman.EXE disappears from Netto's life, which are the episodes after the N1 Grand Prix tournament.

Oh, and I think kawaii means cute in Japanese. Anyone want to correct me on this?[/quote]
