That's a pretty damn good idea, and one that makes me happy. Nice to see Capcom listening to their fans; they've been really receptive recently. Personally, I much prefer the X8/CM voices over any others, at least any of the English voices. This is especially true for X and Zero...who just goes to a whole new level of hotness.
It's a great incentive for those who already have X 1-6 to get the collection. Yay good news. ^^ Do we have a more precise release date yet, or still just third quarter?

Not for me. As I've said before, I thought the voices in X4 fit the characters quite nicely. And, at the very least I think Zero and Sigma's X4 voices fit the characters much better than their respective Ocean Group counterparts. So unless there is something to be unlocked by beating X4 or they up the difficulty, I'm sticking with my Greatest Hits copy of X4. I'll play the X Collection version of X4 once, just for perfectionist reasons, and then play my GH version of X4 from then on.
My incentive for the X Collection is X2 (the one X game I have not beaten), the possible PSX version of X3, and Battle and Chase. |

OMG every go to PMM and read the mean story >.> it seems some morons are sending in really stupid requests for the MMXC and pissing off Capcom here are some real requests being sent in @.@.
- I WANT THE MM8 INTRO VIDEO IN MMXC (wth?)
- I WANT ZERO PLAYABLE IN X2
- I WANT THE VA FROM X7 TO VOICE ZERO AND THE GUY FROM X4 TO VOICE X
the first one is stupid because its the MMXC not the MMC @.@.
the second one is stupid to because capcom would have to recode the intire game just to do that.
and the third is well dumb because the request don't tell us which VA from X7 he wants to voice zero and which VA from X4 he wants to voice X @.@ retards.

I find them embarassing, frankly.
And I'm pretty sure there was only one VA for MMX4 X and MMX7 Zero, unless you're counting the Japanese, which wouldn't make any sense for an English voicetrack...

Yes most of this is good. But I think i'll miss X6's japenese voices
That one purple guy.... Gale I think, sounded really cool

It's Gate, not Gale (which, FYI, is a girls' name).
Personally, I'd actually much rather see the original 3 games get 32-bit sprites rather than the dubbing work. Of course, I'm not complaining that they're finally getting rid of those horrendous voices in X4. |

I am really interesting in the Re-dubs too. I wonder who will voice Gate, High Max, and Issac. :O
I wonder who will voice Douglas too. Since he has been missing since X7. Where did he go anyway? o_o

Not to be mean, but if you're going to outright flame people for sending in odd requests and call them retards (which would be quite a shame if they were either very young, or really did have some have issues) can you at least use proper grammar and all that other internet-typing etiquette stuff?
Besides, some people sent in joke e-mails. Other than that, Capcom had a flood of e-mails, so... head on over to the Megaman Network and read their newsposts on the e-mail subject. They set up a more organized way of handling this.

Wow, so much hate o_O
Well, being the obvious OG freak I am, I'm also OVERJOYED that they'll be going back to redub the old games, including the SNES games that never had voices in the first place. For me, it'll be even better since this will be my first time playing any X games other than 5 and 8, and despite what EVERYONE else keeps saying, I actually did like the voices for X8 and Command Mission (Ok, some of 'em >>) so...yeah...and stuff. |

Love the ideas of the redubs, honestly I hope they dub the whole collection, even the old SNES games and add voice overs in the text, like in the current X Games, that's my only wish

What the hell, they are gonna REDUB? X4 had awesome voices, I get sick when people always say their bad, because, honestly, that is the true voice of X, in X4, and so is that of Zero and Sigma, Sigma is deranged and X4 had a perfect voice for him, X8 sucked big time compared to X4,
altough Lumine did rule, and both Axl and Zero did have better voice than in X7 wich was qua voices very horrid, Vava sounded amazing, that crazy bastard him...
at any rate, X4 and MM8 are the dubs complained most about, well guess what? they own, and Bass' name is pronounced as MM did in 8, and unlike others mention it's base, it's not, and the X4 voices were simply the best.
but hell, who am I trying to convice, you saps who think elsewise will not change your mind anyway...it's just metalking to myself again...sigh

...and on top of that, the current X voice more closely reflects what could be called the "true" X voice, those which have been used in the Rockman X games.

I like the Iris death scene in X4 as is, and the only way they could make it better for me is Zero doing the darth vader no line...
X's voice in X4 was poorly done because he was barely in the cinemas to begin with... |
