If you enter your navi into a server, it'd be "Plug in", wouldn't it? And putting in chips would be "slot in", I believe. I think the "10 minutes transition" seems too rough; maybe you should write it out like "10 minutes later, blah blabbety blah blah."

Also, I don't think there's an America in the series. Maybe Ameroupe, but not America. I may be wrong, though. I also believe that if you're not familiar with the Japanese names, don't use them until you've gained enough research, but that's just me.

Wee! I'm working on a part where my characters almost die...but I only have it all played out in my head and have to work the plot in my story up to that situation. Dang...:( Liz wants them to be in pain now...hehe. Muwahaha...!!!

Cyclone: She's psycho...wants to hurt her own characters...

Chapter 12: Forte

The two navis matched each other move for move as the battle raged on.

"Wow, didn't think this battle would go on that long," Cyclone panted when they locked swords for the third time. She pushed him back and sliced at him. Rockman jumped back, his blue boots clanking on the ground when he landed. He lunged in for another attack, but Cyclone held out her sword, blocking it. The force of the attack broke both the swords.

"ZapRing2, Battle Chip! Slot In!" Katya said, pushing the chip into her gray and black PET. She pushed the bill of her hat back out of her eyes a bit and smiled. Cyclone's right hand transformed into the gun that would shoot the paralyzing attack and aimed at Rockman.

"Area Steal, Slot In!" Rockman disappeared just as the attack was about to hit its mark.

"Nother one on the way, Cyclone." Cyclone nodded as her hand again formed into the gun. She closed her eyes and listened for her adversary. She quickly turned to the right and shot the ZapRing. There was a sizzle as the attack hit its mark and Rockman fell to his knees, paralyzed.

"Crap, Rockman, get outta there!" Netto said in a panicked voice. Cyclone started toward Rockman with her buster charging, but then she stopped dead in her tracks and looked behind her. Katya frowned.

"Cyclone, what's up?"

"There's someone else in here...I-I think anyway." Yaito smiled.

"That's not possible! We have a really expensive system hooked up to ensure nothing ever gets in here."

"It is possible..." A misty voice came from the depths of the computer. Cyclone helped Rockman to his feet and they looked around, startled. Yaito was enraged.

"Hey! Whoever that is...get outta here! This is trespassing ya know and I could have you sent to jail for it!" A cold laugh arose and made the hair the back of everyone's necks stand up.

"I'd like to see you try to defeat me." A cloaked navi dropped onto the battlefield and lifted its head.

"...Forte...whaddya ya want this time," Cyclone said coldly. The navi turned his head to look at her, his bright red eyes bearing into her deep blue ones.

"..."

"Cyclone...do you know something we don't?" Rockman asked slowly. The female navi twitched but didn't answer his question.

"...You didn't."

"You know it's true. And you know why I'm here." Silence for a few moments. Katya finally turned to Netto.

"Get Rockman outta there. Now." Netto flinched, startled by her suddenly cold and firm tone. Katya's brown eyes had grown very dark and her fingers on the hand that clutched Cyclone's PET were white from squeezing the device so hard. Her other gloved hand was balled into a tight fist.

"Wha..." Netto hesitated and his blue PET immediately went black. Katya's did the same, the computer screen also blanking out at the same time.

"Shit," Katya muttered. She turned to Netto, his face wearing the same shocked and confused look that everyone else's in the silent room did. Katya took her hat off and ran her hand through her messy brown hair. "Now we have to hope Cyclone is strong enough without her upgrade to keep Forte away from Rockman."

Chapter Thirteen: Harmony Program-Part 1

"Forte...don't do this. You know what Storm tried to do in the past...do you really think they've changed?"

"They offered me more then you ever did."

"Your life?"

"Enough. Let me through to Rockman now so I can get this over with and receive the power I deserve." Cyclone shook her head and moved in between Rockman and Forte.

"Can't let you do that." Rockman frowned.

"Cyclone...you mind explaining this to me?"

"No time... ..." She looked at the ground.

"...Cyclone?"

"Yeah...I worked for Storm...shoulda known you guys would figure it out sooner or later."

"Katya, that's really really bad," Meiru said worriedly, putting her hand on Katya's shoulder. " I mean..."

"Yeah, I know." Katya rolled her eyes and shrugged her friend's hand away. "If it were good, I'd be there now." Silence. "Anyway...uhm...yeah..." She slid her blank PET into the pouch at her side.

"Why'd you quit?" Tohru asked. "I mean, someone doesn't do something like that for two years and quit just like that." Katya bit her lip.

"Uhm...that's sorta where Forte comes in." She drew in a deep breath and put her hat back on."Uhm...lemmie see...Cyclone and I were ordered to take out Forte with Burnerman...we accepted eagerly because Forte was supposed to be doing stuff that would put Storm in danger and we wanted to prove ourselves. But...we arrived to the scene and Forte wasn't doing anything...he was just a threat because of his strength. Storm had tried to convince him to join...but Forte refused saying that the power he wanted couldn't be gained by working for humans. So Storm needed to be rid of the threat.

"Dunno what happened really...only told Cyclone to take out Burnerman, and she did. We sorta really bonded that day, Cyclone and I...it was the first day that I actually thought of her as another being and not a tool, a navi. Twas strange... ... ... We let Forte go." She took in another deep breath as if talking had taken a lot of energy. She looked a bit paler.

"You let him go...and now you're running from Storm because of that? Even though now I assume he joined up with them for Lord knows why?" Yaito asked. Katya nodded, her brown eyes shining from unshed tears. Meiru looked at her, puzzled.

"This summtin you feel uncomfortable talking about?" Katya shook her head.

"There's...uhm...summtin else I didn't tell you..." Katya stumbled forward suddenly and grabbed the back of a chair for support. All five of the kids around her moved in to help but she shook her head.

"Katya, what the heck's going on!" Netto almost screamed.

"You can't keep any more big secrets from us or else we won't be able to help you!" Dekao added. Katya nodded, her breathing heavier.

"Y...yeah. I know that now." She turned around and looked straight into Netto's brown eyes. He reddened, flustered. "Rockman's okay...he'll be back...in his PET as soon as...uhm...as soon as the power comes back online." She shuddered and slumped into Netto, unconscious.

"...uhm guys...what just happened?" Netto looked to all of his friends, searching their faces for any sign that they knew anything at all. Their faces were just as quiescent as the girl he held in his arms.

I think it's 20XX...Oh, and I'm pretty sure Electopia is Japan. We don't know of an america so far, but this is fanfiction, so you could make an america in that time. Hell, you could do just about anything in a fanfiction. Hell, you could even make Netto put on black clothes, a black trench coat, sunglasses, make him say 'THE MATRIX HAS YOU' and have him do the whole backbending thing with bullets. Yes, I'm fully aware I said hell twice.

Chapter Fourteen: Harmony Program-Part 2

"Rockman...can't we do something?" Netto's navi shook his head.

"Don't think so...not until Katya wakes up and tells us more." The group had moved the unconscious Katya to the hospital and were waiting for news on her condition.

"What would Forte want with Rockman anyway?" Tohru asked no one in particular. Everyone shrugged and it was silent for a while.

"She's definately not telling us something," Meiru finally said, breaking the silence.

"Yeah...someone in perfect health doesn't just randomly pass out," Yaito agreed. "Maybe it had something to do with Forte?" Dekao shook his head.

"Don't think so Yaito...we were all in that room. Wouldn't the same thing happen to us if it was Forte's fault?" Everyone was silent for a few minutes as they pondered that statement. The door to the waiting room opened and a nurse walked in. Netto stood up.

"...?"

"She's awake...but we don't know for how long." She half smiled at the kids' confused looks. "She has hardly any strength...it's like her energy is slowly being drained." Katya scowled and strained to roll over and turn away from her friends when they came into the room. The nurse frowned. "She's been doing that to everyone...not just you guys," she apologised.

"Katya, wanna tell us what's going on now?" She mumbled something under her breath at Netto's question.

"We can't help you if we don't know anything," Meiru persisted. Katya rolled over to her back, tried to sit up, failed, waved everyone off, and heaved herself into a sitting position. She took in a deep breath and frowned.

"There's not much time." The teenagers around Katya exchanged glances. "Uhm...there's a bit of a problem...something that I've gotta tell you..." Katya whispered. "Uhm...I developed a new type...type of uhm...chip...that can help you to...to uhm...link with your navi." She took in a few deep breaths, as though talking took most of her strength.

"What are you saying?" Yaito demanded in disbelief.

"... ...I'm saying that...uhm...maybe I...I tested it out on C...Cyclone and mys...myself," Katya panted. "So...everything...that she feels...I feel..."

"So you mean that there's nothing we can do?" Netto said in a low voice.

"Not...until...you find C...Cyclone..." Katya shuddered. "Uhm...yeah...I'm starting to think...that this wasn't my best idea...," she whispered and passed out cold.

"Forte, what the hell are you thinking?" Cyclone almost screamed at the navi. She pulled at the restraints pinning her arms down to the metal slap. "When I get outta this you're gonna be sorry...and I'm not gonna be so easy on you either!"

"Shut up." There was another navi standing by a control pannel that stuck up from the ground. He had on a spiked black helmet that had a 'T' design in the middle and messy brown bangs sticking out through the front. His eyes were covered by dark red sunglasses. He had a flowing, tattered cape draped across his shoulders that was flicked back so you could see his body. His armour was all red, grey, and black colored and his symbol, a cracked circle, was visible on his gloves.

"Make me, buddy." The navi smirked and pressed a button on the pannel. An electric charge coarsed through Cyclone. "Eep! What the..?"

"Like it?" The navi asked, patting the machine. "My own invention."

"Actually...I'd like it better if you were the one being shocked." Another blast of electricity. "Or not..." The navi laughed and Cyclone sniffed. "Uhm...I don't recall ever seeing you before..."

"Tremor EXE, highest ranking navi in Operation Storm." He smirked. "Not that it matters to you...it'll be only a matter of time till you're deleted." He pressed and held the button.

*Draws Tremor...* He's also a navi I made up in like...five seconds. XD I just hope that there isn't an official navi called Tremor... *bricked*

Chapter Fifteen: Tremor EXE

"We've gotta do something." Rockman frowned.

"That's the fifth time you've said that!"

"It's true!"

"Stop fighting," Meiru scolded. Yaito, Dekao, and Tohru had left a few hours ago beacause it was time for them to eat dinner. Now it was about eight o'clock at night and Meiru, Netto, Rockman, and Roll were getting restless.

"We've been sitting here for near five hours now," Netto complained. "We shoulda done something sooner!"

"What, Netto."

"..."

"Yeah...you guys are right." Meiru looked over Netto's shoulder and he turned around. "...well there is one way...to stop this ya know." Katya coughed.

"Uhm...how long have you been listening?"

"Like...uhm... ... ...ten minutes?" She half smiled at Netto's expression. "If...if you Plug In Rockman...then uhm...you would be able to...to track Cyclone's data."

"How? We don't-"

"Rockman knows what to look for..." Netto glanced at his navi and sighed.

"Netto, Roll's coming too." The teenage boy sheek his head.

"Too risky...you and Roll should stay here, Meiru...Rockman can do this." Katya sighed, coughed.

"Uhm...yeah. Make sure you're careful Rockman...cause...uhm....the whole reason this happened i...is cause Storm wan...wants to delete you. ..."

"Forte, you should get going. I can handle this on my own." Forte nodded and disappeared into thin air. Tremor turned and again focused his attention on Cyclone.

"Gawd you're cocky...eep! Okay okay...geez." Cyclone frowned and Tremor took his finger off of the red button. "That button is getting annoying...," Cyclone muttered.

"What was that?"

"What did you think it was?" Cyclone snapped. She was answered by another shock.

"You're gonna learn the hard way to watch what you say...it's gonna delete you sooner or later," Tremor laughed. He paused as if thinking for a minute. "Let's compromise."

"Let's not." Tremor's hand hovered over the button, but he dropped it and shrugged off the statement she had just made.

"You tell us where Netto lives...and we'll let you go?"

"How about you let me go...and I kick your arse!" Cyclone retorted. "What're you too afraid that I'll beat ya? Have to do this..."

"Tell us or be deleted," the male navi said coldly. Cyclone frowned.

Crap...just remembered the stupid Harmony Program that Katya developed...so she must be in a lot of pain right now...shit. Uhm...crap...can't be deleted...cause...DAMN YOU KATYA! Cyclone sighed. Can't tell them either...

"..."

"So you choose deletion."

"Hey, cape boy, over here!" Tremor turned in a rage.

"Who mocks me?" A red blast of energy shot by his head and hit the machine's control pannel. Tremor watched in horror as the restraints holding Cyclone were released and she dropped to the ground.

"Okay, now it's time for payback." Cyclone cracked her knuckles and walked up to Tremor. Rockman appeared behind him and the two navis had him surrounded.

"You two really think you can defeat me, the highest ranking navi in Operation Storm?" Tremor said, smirking. He had no hint of fear in his voice, and Cyclone shifted uneasily. Maybe he wasn't as winpy as she thought. Tremor's smirk widened and he disappeared into thin air.

"Where'd he go? Did he log out?" Rockman looked around nervously.

"Think he has a cloaking device..." Cyclone touched her thin blue goggles and looked around. She could now sense any kind of motion and be able to pinpoint its location. "Rockman, duck," she commanded, and her hand transformed into her buster. She immediately shot a blast at the air behind Rockman and Tremor's cloaking device on his back was destroyed. He materialized and looked at his back. there was a hole through the pack he wore on his back.

"Why you little..." Rockman turned and fired his Rock Buster at the navi. He dodged the blast and kicked Rockman square in the stomach, sending the blue navi flying backwards. "This is the part where you get deleted." Tremor said coldly. "Magnitude Quake!" He stomped the ground with his left foot and the area began to shake. Tremor grinned and waved, then logged out.

"What the heck?" Rockman tried to stand up, but the shaking caused him to fall back to his knees. Cyclone looked around.

"Guessing this isn't good," she replied. The shaking persisted and got even more intense. The ground in front of the navis began to disappear. The burnt up machine fell into the black depths of the net. "Oh, muffins..."

The ground under Cyclone gave out. Her four long spikes that stuck out of her backpack glowed and fanned out into paper thin wings. She floated up beside Rockman and landed. Cyclone grabbed Rockman's arm and heaved him to his feet.

"Hope this works...it's gonna be near impossible while this attack is going on," Cyclone muttered. Rockman looked at her questioningly and they started glowing a soft blue. A few seconds later there was nothing but thin air where the two navis were standing and the floor fell through into the nothingness of the net.

That was funny how Cyclone and Tremor kept arguing...also when thew floor was giving way and Cyclone said "Oh Muffins..." I've ever heard someone say that before. I just noticed one small mistake right here:

Wow...sorry it's taken me so long to get this next part up. Been really busy...enough jabber. Next Chapter.

Chapter Sixteen: Sacrifice

Rockman and Cyclone appeared a ways from the devastated area a few seconds later. Cyclone swallowed.

"Uhm...Rockman? There's not much time."

"Before...what?" Cyclone frowned and sat down heavily.

"Before all of my energy is gone." Rockman blinked, not believing what he just heard. The famous navi that he and Netto had heard about...helping all of those people in such short time...deleting many of the navis that had caused so much trouble...all of the things that she had done even before Katya had moved back to Dentech. "Seriously...the only reason I'm not gone yet is cause Katya would die too. You have to deactivate my Harmony Chip." Rockman shook his head.

"You're not gonna be del-"

"Rockman...just do it, please. I need two hands or else I'd do it myself...dunno why the stupid chip was installed in my glove..." She sniffed as Rockman lifted his hands hesitantly and removed the chip from Cyclone's wrist. It was about the size of his thumb and was colored red. There was a round blue orb positioned in the middle of the chip that flickered and eventually dimmed out. Cyclone half smiled as she began to fade.

"Thanks a lot...really...you were a great friend for the time I knew you." Rockman's green eyes filled with tears as Cyclone slowly dissolved in front of him.

Katya's brown eyes fluttered open and she blinked. The room came into focus and she sat up. Netto was staring at her PET and Meiru sat at the foot of her bed silently crying.

"Uhm...what happened?" Katya had a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something really horrible had happened...she could feel it. Meiru took a deep breath.

"Katya...uhh...oh, I'm so sorry," she sobbed. Meiru jumped up and chocked Katya in a hug.

"Eep...uhm...Netto...what the heck?!?" Katya tried to push Meiru off of her.

"...uhm...Katya, Cyclone...she uhm...didn't exactly make it," Netto said slowly.

"Huh?" Katya pushed Meiru off of her and jumped out of the bed. She snatched her PET out of Netto's hands and punched a few buttons. "...she took out the chip then..."

"Netto, there's something else I didn't tell you...," Rockman said uneasily from inside of his PET. Netto took the device from his belt and stared at Rockman. "I dunno if this means anything...but...Forte sorta appeared and...well I'm not quite sure what he did. I think it was a scan of the spot Cyclone was when she was deleted." Katya looked thoughtful.

"... ... ...I have to go." Meiru and Netto looked at her like she was crazy.

"You almost...died or something...you won't be able to leave!" Meiru said, shocked. Katya sniffed and grabbed her hat from the chair that was beside the bed. She slipped on her boots and pulled on her black vest and matching fingerless gloves.

"Gotta run...seriously, this is like...really important." Netto grabbed Katya's arm as she was heading out the door. She turned to look at him, silent tears streaming down her face. "I really have to do something...Netto, come on." Netto sighed and let her go. Katya sniffed and disappeared out the door of the room.

"That's one odd girl."

Chapter Seventeen: Wave EXE

"It's been near a week since Cyclone was deleted, and nothing really exciting's happened," Netto complained to Rockman. His blue navi sighed.

"I dunno, Netto...it's all a bit strange though. Isn't it strange that all of these attacks start up on Dentech almost the day Katya and Cyclone arrive...then as soon as Cyclone's deleted they stop?"

"What, do you think Cyclone and Katya were behind all of the attacks?"

"I dunno....but it sure is odd." Netto slid off of his bed, picked up his PET, and threw on his shoes. "Where're ya goin?"

"I'm gonna go talk to Katya."

"She hasn't been out of that house for six days..."

"Yeah...and it's time for someone to find out why."

"Katya, you gonna open up? You have a visitor." Katya ignored her father and kept working on the circular device that was on the desk in front of her. He had come home that day and kept insisting that he had something that would cheer her up, but Katya hadn't opened her bedroom door. She didn't want a new navi...and she was sure her father had developed one. No one could replace Cyclone.

"Katya...please open the door."

"Go away Netto." Silence for a few minutes. Katya's father frowned.

"She has a pretty complicated lock but...Wave, could you try to open the door?" A navi appeared on the screen of the deep blue and black PET that he had in his hand. Her helmet had two black and blue fins that extended from the sides and the same design of fins were on her shoulders, gloves, and boots. Her shimmering armour looked like a human one-piece swimsuit and her symbol, a diamond with a glittering pearl in the center, was located on her chest like Rockman's. Her long golden hair reached her hips and pale blue goggles covered her bright green eyes and rosy cheeks.

"I'll see what I can do!" Wave said gaily. She winked and disappeared from the PET into the door's computerised lock.

"What a girly girl...," Netto muttered as the navi looked around the area.

"Woah, this thing is pretty complicated. It's huge...uhm...I need a password to get into the area where the lock is."

"Rockman'll help." Netto plugged in his navi and Rockman appeared next to Wave.

"Think it's Cyclone," the blue navi told Wave. She nodded and entered in the letters. Katya looked up from her work as a small light above her door started to blink, indicating that someone was trying to break in. She rolled her eyes and clipped the finished orb to her skirt. When she pressed the black button in the middle of the grey device, it started to shimmer a deep crimson. Katya smiled in satisfaction as a small dimensional area formed in her room.

"What the...?" Katya opened the door with a smug look on her face, pleased with the surprised expressions her father and Netto held as the small dimensional area moved with her and surrounded all three of them in a glittering dome.

"Don't have to break in now." Netto blinked and Rockman returned to his PET, Wave appearing on the screen of hers soon after. There was an awkward silence for a few minutes.

"Erm...when was the last time you slept?" Netto asked hesitantly. Katya shrugged.

"Few days...doesn't matter. Just happy this thingy works." She grinned and patted the shimmering orb connected to her skirt at the waist.

"Katya, do you still have the plans for that...?"

"Yup, but this is summtin I wanna get credit for pawp...you can keep all of my other inventions though," Katya replied smugly. Her father bit his lip and nodded.

"Right...uhm, I'm going to head back to the Labs. You're out of your room at least..." He pushed his round glasses up closer to his eyes and frowned. He pushed Wave's PET at Katya, straightened his tie, and disappeared down the stairs.

"He'll get over it," Katya said coolly in response to Netto's worried look. She stepped back and nodded for him to come into her room. Once they were both inside of the cluttered area, Katya shut the door and sat on her bed. Netto looked around at the various machines and toold that were scattered about the right side of the room.

A desk held Katya's computer-one of the latest models with signs of upgrades-and was covered with heaps of papers. The left half of the room looked just like a ten year old's room is expected to look. Posters were plastered across the walls and a dresser sat next to a window seat with a cushion on it. The bed had red sheets on it and a night stand sat up near the pillow.

"So...who're you again?" Katya asked the navi in the PET she was holding.

"Wave EXE, at your service! You're Katya right?"

"No," Katya said seriously. Netto snickered.

"She's Katya." Katya frowned at Netto and moved over so he could sit next to her on the bed. He plopped down and set Rockman's PET on his lap. "Why're you here anyway?"

"I was created to be-"

"I don't need another navi, ya know," Katya said coldly, cutting Wave off. The female navi's face melted into a pout.

"Uhm...okay..."

"Gawd, would it kill ya to be nice?" Netto snickered.

"Give it time, she'll get used to you," Rockman assured the blue and black navi. Wave nodded, but still looked unhappy as Katya stuck her tongue out at Rockman.

Chapter Eighteen: Theme Park Panic!

A few days later, Katya still hadn't grown comfortable with the fact that she now had a new navi, but she was beginning to trust Wave. She didn't nag as much as Cyclone did, and Katya missed the nagging, but Wave was a good battler and could delete viruses with ease using a swift water attack that she would conjure up from thin air.

One day, things started out as normal as they had been for Katya without her best friend there to support her. She woke up, dressed, and met Netto and Meiru at the new amusement park that had opened the day before. However, the day's events would soon begin to have a twist on them that weren't caused by rollar coaster rides.

"Wee! Let's go on The Villian again!" Katya squealed, pulling Meiru and Netto into the line. Netto sank to the ground, clutching his stomach.

"Don't think my stomach'll let me..."

"Ha, I told you you shouldn't have eaten so much Netto!" Rockman teased.

"Aww, shut up..." Suddenly the clicking of the rollar coaster stopped and the cars slowed to a halt. The three kids looked up at the Villian, curious.

"Do rollar coasters just break down anymore?" Katya asked. Meiru shook her head.

"Not supposed to...since it's all computerised and Navis run the controls. A virus could have gotten in but it's highly unlikely...security's really tight," she replied. As the words left Meiru's mouth, the coaster started up again.

"Uhm...let's go on something else," Katya said nervously. Netto and Meiru nodded and they left the line. They stopped in the line of another rollar coaster that spun through various loops and twists, making the rider dizzy and disorianted. After a few minutes of waiting, the kids were next to get on.

"Please keep your arms, legs, and heads inside of the cars at all time and make sure your PET's are secure. Thank you for choosing the Twister and have a nice ride!" The recording echoed through the station as the cars left to climb up the tall lift hill. Netto leaned against the bar that separated people waiting from the ride and sighed.

"Man, it's a nice day out today." There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and it was a comfortable seventy-eight degrees fahrenheit. Katya and Meiru nodded in agreement and looked up at the cameras that followed the coaster's every move.

"It's almost back in the station," Meiru said excitedly. Roll frowned.

"Not so fast Meiru...uhm...that thing's going way faster then it's supposed to when it came around that last turn...it's not slowing down!"

"She's right Netto," Rockman said nervously. The coaster suddenly flew past them and began to go up the lift hill again, faster then before. People on the ride turned in their seats to see what was going on, and guests waiting in line murmered in confusion.

"What the heck...?"

"I'm wonderin' the same thing Katya...plug me into the coaster's computer and I'll check it out for ya," Wave said blithely. Katya nodded and looked up at the comeras. As soon as she saw that the coaster wasn't going to run her over, Katya slid under the bar and ran over to the computer to Plug In Wave.

"Katya, that thing just sped up!" Meiru gasped. Katya looked up at the cameras and saw that the coaster had cleared the last turn a lot quicker then she had anticipated.

"Eep!" Katya jumped over the tracks, in her haste tripping and falling flat on her face. Netto slid under the bar, grabbed Katya's shirt sleeve, and pulled her back into the line seconds before the ride came hurtling through the station again. "T-thanks." Katya stood up shakily, blushing. Meiru frowned.

"I need to get Rockman in there to help somehow...," Netto muttered. The people in line behind them had cleared out in a panick and Katya turned as a boy came running up the stairs. The rollar coaster car sped past once again, the people on it screaming in terror.

"Enzan," Katya mumbled.

"Should have known I'd run into you three... Have you guys seen the rest of the park?" Enzan frowned when they shook their heads. "There are more coasters all out of control...this isn't the only one."

"Nothing in here Katya." The ten year old girl nodded.

"I need you to get to the main controls of the park, Wave...can ya do that?" Her navi nodded and Enzan smirked.

"So, you got another navi..." Katya twitched.

"None of your business," she growled, fists clenched. Enzan shrugged and beckoned for all of them to follow.

"I know where we can all Plug In our navis and sort out this mess...I have the key to the main control room." The group soon made it to te control room and Enzan ounched in the code to the door. "... ..."

"What's the matter pal?" Katya asked mockingly.

"They changed it."

"Great...just grand!" Netto said sarcastically. Meiru stepped on his shoe.

"We're not gonna get anywhere if you don't get serious!"

"Sorry, geez!" Netto bent down and rubbed his foot, cringing. "Can't we Plug In out here?"

"No, there's nowhere to do that...you'd have to go to another coaster."

"But if all of the coasters are going haywire-"

"Not all of them are." Silence for a few moments.

"Which ones are?" Katya asked softly. Everyone looked at her questioningly. Enzan crossed his arms and frowned.

"Let's see...then Twister, the Double Loop, Mind Eraser..."

"Any that don't twist or go upside down?" Enzan looked at her funny and thought for a moment before shaking his head. Katya smiled. "Gotcha." She reached past Enzan and punched in a few numbers. The door to the control room opened with an annoyingly loud squeak.

"How-"

"Battle now, talk later." Her voice had a hint of tears in it and she swallowed. "..." Blues, Rockman, and Roll appeared in the computer a few seconds later. Wave materialized beside Roll and smiled.

"You guys ready?"

"Yup." Rockman's hand melted into his buster and he followed Blues, who hadn't wasted any time in starting toward the main program that controlled everything. Roll and Wave ran after the male navis, anxious to get things back to normal so they could get onto some rides. The four navis stopped at the edge of a long walkway that led up to a control pannel. A navi, hidden by shadow, was punching in numbers and letters on the pannel.

"Hey, you, stop right there!" Blues called, bandishing his Cyber Sword. The navi ignored them and kept on tampering with the machines. "I warn you..." Blues paused as another navi's shape appeared right in front of him.

"No, I warn you." Forte's red eyes glimmered with hatred and evil in the dim lighting of the computer.

"Forte? Watch out for him Rockman," Netto warned his navi. Rockman nodded and put his guard up as he adressed Forte.

"Whaddya want Forte?" The cloaked navi grinned maniacally, clearly enjoying every second that he stood between the navis and their adversary.

"What is it you want...you came in so accusatory, didn't even bother to ask questions." Everyone gritted their teeth and he laughed.

"We know you're the ones messing up the rides, now let us through to fix it!" Roll shouted. Forte glanced at her, his smile vanishing.

"But it is fixed...fixed the way we want it. The way you had it was 'messed up,' you see," he replied coldly. "I tire of this nonsense...leave us now or die." With that, Forte held up his hands and a force shield surrounded the area where the control pannel was. Blues lept through the shield before the top closed, but Forte easily threw him out again. Laughing, the cloaked navi turned, said something to the navi in shadow, and logged out.

"Now what?" Roll asked Rockman. He frowned and glanced at Blues. The red navi was looking the shield over carefully.

"This is a powerfu shield...only broken by force, not password," he told Enzan. The teenage boy frowned.

"So...we need a really strong attack to penetrate this..."

"Don't even think about it." A chill went down Katya's spine at the familiar voice. A blue and grey navi stepped up to the edge of the force shield and smiled, her deep blue eyes clouded with darkness.

Chapter Ninteen: When Good Muffins go Bad

"Cyclone?" Netto, Meiru, Rockman, and Roll all said in unison. The navi's smile widened.

"The Cyclone you know has come and gone...she was weak and didn't understand the power that Storm could give her...I know now that she was wrong to turn down the darkness." She stared at one of her hands and slowly balled it into a fist. "I have more power then I ever dreamed...and will use it to destroy all of those who stand in my way...who are weaker then me." Her voice was colder, feelingless. She obviously didn't care what happened to anyone but herself.

"Knew it," Katya whispered. Her brown eyes filled with unshed tears as she looked up at Netto. "You've gotta delete her for good...she'll hurt too many people this way." Netto shook his head, not even looking at Katya.

"We'll find a way to turn her back without deleting her," he said stubbornly. "Rockman, you've gotta persuade Cyclone to open the force shield so you can face her." Rockman nodded and whispered to Blues, Roll, and Wave.

"You gonna open this thing so we can fight ya?" Roll asked casually. Cyclone rolled her eyes, annoyed.

"Do you take me for a fool?"

"No...but if you're hiding behind that thing then you can't be as strong as you say," Wave taunted, giggling. Cyclone gritted her teeth as Rockman continued to annoy her.

"Yeah, you must be pretty weak if you need protection from Forte's shield."

"You wish," Cyclone spat. The shield lifted and she lept at Rockman angrily. Netto sent him a Cyber Sword and it clashed with the swirling grey blade that Cyclone had. Blues, Wave, and Roll dashed past them toward the controls. Screaming in rage, Cyclone turned and sent a whirlwind spiraling after Roll. Wave countered the attack with a wall of water and Cyclone blasted her with a twister attack, causing the water type navi to log out.

"..." Katya pulled Cyclone's empty PET from her pocket and saw that her navi was still linked to the device. "We may have a chance..."

"GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Cyclone screamed in a rage, knocking Rockman back a few feet into a nearby wall. Roll gasped and narrowed her eyes. She threw exploding hearts at the grey and blue navi, but she dodged them all and slashed at Roll with her sword, causing the pink navi to log out.

Cyclone charged at Blues next, her now swirling black sword clashing with his red one. Blues was knocked back a couple feet, but he remained standing and blocked another of Cyclone's mad slashes. She kept swiping at him in a rage, cutting parts of his helmet and gloves. With a mighty squeal, the female navi broke Blues' sword and he fell to his knees.

"Die!" Cyclone yelled, laughing and swinging her sword in a feirce downward motion. Rockman quickly countered her attack with his Cyber Sword, but it also buckled and shattered under the strong attack.

"She's stronger then before, Netto!" Rockman said worridly. Netto punched the wall of the control room.

"How can we beat her?" Netto grabbed Katya's shoulders and she looked up, startled. "Katya, is there any sort of weakness Cyclone has? Fire? Water? Electricity? Anything?" Katya looked at her feet.

"The only weakness she had before was darkness...because she wanted power more then I ever did...and I didn't have the heart to reprogram her personality," Katya said softly. Netto released his grip on her shoulders and turned back to his PET.

"So...that's it then." Katya pulled a small chip from her pocket and ran her thumb across the smooth surface.

"No...that's not it." She looked up, tears streaming freely down her cheeks and splattering onto the concrete floor. "Cyclone has another weakness...actually two."

"Is that a Synchro Chip?" Meiru asked, her voice barely a whisper. Katya closed her eyes and opened them again, focusing her stare at Cyclone's empty PET. She smiled through the fountain of salty tears that flowed down her face and reached down to touch the Portable Dimensional Area Generator that she carried on her belt.

Cyclone blasted Blues with her buster, causing him to log out. She turned to Rockman, her face twisted into an evil smile. Rockman backed up to the edge of the area, almost tripping and falling over backward into the massive blackness of the bottomless pit that surrounded the platform where they stood. Cyclone held out her hands and formed a blackish blue bubble in her palms.

"It's time for you to die," she said coldly. Rockman gulped.

"Netto...? Uhm...Cyclone...don't...you've gotta remember your old self..." His green eyes filled with tears. "I really don't think she's gone...she can't be gone..." The female navi hesitated for a second, and Netto slotted in a Long Sword, siezing the oppertunity to let Rockman attack.

"Go on Rockman!" Netto ordered his navi. "Attack her before she attacks you!" Something flickered behind Cyclone's eyes and the bubble that she held dissolved. Snapping to her senses, the navi turned and looked in the opposite direction.

"A Dimensional Area? Meh...you got off easy this time Rockman, but next time you won't be so lucky." She logged out.

"Where'd Katya go?" Meiru asked.

"Dunno...Rockman, hurry and get everything back to normal...we've gotta find her...cause I have a feeling if we find Katya we'll find Cyclone."

Chapter Twenty: Every Action Has an Equal and Opposite Reaction

"It's time you were taught a lesson the hard way, Katya," Cyclone said, smirking. Katya sighed and rolled her eyes.

"I've heard that one before." Cyclone's smirk widened and she shot a blast of energy at Katya's head. The girl ducked and ran under the nearest rollar coaster. All of the rides had been shut down and Katya knew that it had been Rockman and Netto's doing. Cyclone didn't like it that they had succeeded...and she wasn't too happy about the fact that Katya had lured her out to this small Dimensional Area.

"I'll give you a chance to be my Net Op again." Katya froze. "Just join up with Storm. You'll have me again...it's all you want, no?" Katya swallowed.

"No...it's not all I want. Not anymore...there's somtething else I...uhm..." Cyclone grinned and chuckled coldly.

"Then die."

"You can't kill me...not if you are me." Katya slotted the Synchro Chip into Cyclone's PET and the navi's eyes widened in horror. Netto, Enzan, and Meiru skidded to a stop outside of the Dimensional Area and watched helplessly as Katya fused with her dark navi.

Cyclone's black, grey, and light blue armour soon covered Katya's body, her helmet secured, her gloves and boots on, and the backpack with four thin spikes on it fastened to her back. A pale blue visor came down over her brown eyes and gave them a deep blue look, finishing the Cross Fusion process.

Everyone outside of the dome held their breath as the silent battle of wills began. Wave's PET was just sitting on the ground outside of the Dimensional Area, forgotten, the navi inside feeling neglected and hurt. R.Cyclone's eyes closed for a brief moment, and when they opened again they were clouded and dark.

"Looks like Cyclone won," Meiru whispered as the cross fused navi started to run toward the control room again, the Dimensional Area moving with her. Netto threw on his skates and started after R.Cyclone, Enzan and Meiru shrugging and following on foot. Netto skated past and in front of R.Cyclone, and, when he was a good distance away, skidded to a stop and headed right for the oncoming navi.

"Get ready to Cross Fuse," he told Rockman. His navi nodded as Netto pulled out a Synchro Chip. R.Cyclone realized what Netto was about to do, but it was too late. He jumped through the shimmering dome and landed next to her, fused with his navi. R.Cyclone stopped and whirled around to face R.Rockman.

"Gah...you two meddle in everything don't you!" It wasn't Katya's voice that spoke, but the navi's. R.Rockman shrugged.

"It's what we do." His hand transformed into the buster gun and he pointed it at R.Cyclone. "Now, go back into your PET so we can sort out this mess." Cyclone laughed.

"As if I would do such a thing...I don't have a PET anymore, and no one will ever tell me what to do again!"

"But you do have a PET, or else we wouldn't have been able to Cross Fuse!" R.Cyclone snapped. R.Rockman frowned as the two girls began to argue, Cyclone obviously losing control of her old Net Op. Meiru and Enzan stood outside of the area, snickering.

"Looks like she's talking to herself," Rockman said, a hint of amusement in his voice. R.Rockman nodded, grinning. R.Cyclone looked up at them and scowled.

"Should we take em out Rockman? Put a stop to all of this..." R.Cyclone gritted her teeth angrily.

"We'll beat you anytime!" she shouted. R.Rockman grinned.

"We'll see." He shot a beam of energy at R.Cyclone, and it hit it's mark. The fised navi went flying into a beam on a rollar coaster nearby.

"I said go right, moron!"

"I wanted to duck!"

"Shut up!"

"You!!!!" R.Rockman shot another buster attack at them, but this time R.Cyclone jumped out of the way.

"See? If you would just listen..."

"We're gonna have to work together you retard!" R.Cyclone's eyes were suddenly lighter, just tinted blue by the visor.

"Fine..." R.Cyclone lept at R.Rockman, throwing out punches at amazing speed. R.Rockman dodged a few blows, but got kicked in the stomach, caught off guard. He stood up and grinned.

"Now we've got a battle!" Soon the whole Dimensional Area was filled with buster shots colored red and blue, the energy bouncing off of rollar coaster beams and the walls of the area. R.Cyclone fell to the ground with laughter as a few of R.Rockman's shots ricocheted off of a beam and hit him in the back of the head. He smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his helmet and blushing with embarrassment

"Hey!" Everyone looked up as Wave appeared in between R.Rockman and R.Cyclone. "You guys done yet? This is really stupid!" R.Cyclone scowled.

"You're the one that...'replaced' me...aren't you?!?" Cyclone said coldly. Wave stomped her foot.

"Yeah...and everything was going great until you showed up! Don't you see? That girl-" she pointed at Katya "-has won! You weren't supposed to actually change heart AGAIN!!!!!" Wave's dark armour shimmered with a red tint.

"Wait a second...I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING FISHY ABOUT YOU!" R.Cyclone screamed. "You've been...USING ME! Ohmygoshes.......AND I FREAKIN FELL FOR IT! You are a freaking Storm navi!!!!" Wave smiled, her green eyes instantly turning a nasty shade of bluish red.

"You're weak Cyclone...and I'm gonna prove it to you by defeating both you and your worthless Net Op right now."

Chapter Twenty One: Kill the Guy Who Came up With Surprises...

"What's going on?" Meiru asked Wave angrily. The navi turned to face her, a dark scowl plastered on her face

"Forte brought Cyclone back, more powerful then before...she was supposed to work for Storm without ever running back to Katya! Obviously it didn't work...Forte's really gonna get it."

"Father developed you...how did...WHAT THE HELL!" R.Cyclone screamed. Wave turned and grinned. Her shape slowly began to change, and both R.Rockman and R.Cyclone backed away in shock. A blinding red light filled the Dimensional Area dome, and when it had faded, Tremor EXE stood in the female navi's place.

"If I yelled 'surprise' every time something like this happened today then I wouldn't have a voice by tomorrow," R.Rockman muttered. Tremor smirked and turned to face R.Cyclone.

"I can't believe you would leave Storm for her...again."

"I can't believe you actually thought I wasn't gonna leave Storm for her...again and you thought I was evil and I didn't miss my friends and you didn't suspect that I was gonna eventually go back to Katya but I just didn't wanna piss you off while I was with Forte cause he could destroy me as easily as he saved me and yeah I think that's all...," Cyclone paused. "Yeah that's all." Everyone blinked and stared at R.Cyclone blankly.

"I hardly understood any of that jibberish," Tremor said, annoyed.

"Then you're stupid." R.Cyclone aimed her buster at his head and shot out a light blue energy beam. He ducked and the attack hit one of the rollar coasters nearby, leaving a hole in the track. Luckily the coaster was shut down. "OHMOGOSHES! THAT WAS MY FAVORITE RIDE!" R.Rockman held back a laugh as he also aimed his buster gun at Tremor. The dark navi jumped out of the way of the energy and dodged a few more buster attacks before sending R.Rockman flying with a huge boulder that he had conjured.

"So I guess you deleted the real Wave," R.Cyclone said as she activated a Cyber sword and ran toward Tremor at full speed. The male navi smiled as his right hand transformed into a brown ground element sword. He blocked R.Cyclone's attack and took a swipe at her.

"She wasn't hard to defeat at all." R.Cyclone dodged his swift attacks and they locked swords.

"Well...I suppose now you know where all of my friends and I live...and I should be scared right?" Tremor smirked and threw her off, swiping at her Cyber Sword and breaking it in half. "Uh oh." R.Cyclone jumped over Tremor's head and he smashed his sword into the ground where she was, leaving a crator and breaking his own weapon.

Enzan looked around. Meiru glanced at him questioningly.

"I can't just stand here...there's gotta be a way to get up enough speed to break into the Dimensional Area."

"How about the roof of that building right there?" Meiru suggested, pointing to a food stand near where the dome was. "That roof's slanted, and if we get on wheels..." Enzan nodded.

"It's worth a try." As the two teenagers ran off, the battle in the dome heated up. R.Rockman and R.Cyclone both ran at Tremor, but jumped over them and sent small boulders raining down on them, knocking the two cross fused navis to their knees.

"How do we get him? He's dodghing everything!" R.Cyclone said, frustrated.

"Scan his exterior and look for a weak spot," Cyclone replied. R.Cyclone nodded and her visor immediately activated so she could scan the navi in front of her.

"Netto, go for his back! Behind him!" she called. R.Rockman gave her the thumbs up and he disappeared, obviously using an Area Steal chip. R.Cyclone smiled to herself.

"Hey, you! Over here!" When Tremor looked her way, R.Cyclone stuck her tongue out at him and crossed her eyes. "Hahaha can't attack me! Betcha can't catch me!" Tremor twitched in anger.

"Why you..." Tremor didn't finish, for he was knocked flat on his face from a firm kick that R.Rockman aimed at his back. The blue navi (note from author: navi human type thing...I dunno...so I'll keep it as plain navi XP) landed next to R.Cyclone and she gave him a high five. Tremor smirked and moved so he was sitting on his knees.

"Uhm...should we split up?" R.Rockman nodded and they both ran off in separate directions. Tremor laughed and punched his fist into the ground.

"This is what you get for mocking me!" A massive energy attack tore up the ground as it barreled after R.Cyclone.

Chapter Twenty Two:

The attack hit R.Cyclone and she went flying into the same rollar coaster that had gotten a hole basted through it earlier. She hit the tracks and flew back into the ground. Her Cross Fusion with Cyclone stopped due to the force of the attack. R.Rockman blasted the ground in front of Tremor with a buster attack, blowing dust into the air. He then ran to Katya and knelt beside her. Cyclone was standing next to her Net Op, perfectly fine.

"She okay?" Netto asked, turning Katya over so her face wasn't in the dirt and picking up her PET.

"Yeah, just knocked out." Cyclone turned back to Tremor. The dust was clearing. "Where's Tremor...?" R.Rockman looked up. There was no sign of the navi anywhere.

"Dunno..." Cyclone frowned and activated her visor so that it could sense even the smallest ammount of movement. She glanced around the area.

"Think he got his cloaking device fixed," she muttered. She detected movement to her right, turned, and blasted Tremor with her buster with lightning speed. The navi materialized and stamped his foot.

"Not again...I just got this fixed!" His pack was smoking and there was a large dent in it. "Well, whatever...I'll just have to finish you...don't know how you survived this attack last time, but you won't escape now!" Cyclone dashed at Tremor and kicked his feet out from under him as he was about to use Magnitude Quake. The male navi smirked and raised his hand. A large boulder materialized out of nowhere and smashed into the rollar coaster beam above R.Rockman and Katya. Part of the track began to crumble.

"That can't be good," R.Rockman said.

"Netto, get outta there! That beam's gonna fall on top of you!" As Rockman said that, the unstable bit of track broke off of the coaster and began to fall.

"Like that?" R.Rockman mumbled. "Thanks for the warning..."

"Crap...," Cyclone muttered. She kicked Tremor and ran off. The female navi cracked her knuckles and waved her hand in the air. A small whirlwind formed in front of her and she directed it toward the descending coaster beam. "Netto, are your feet made of brick? Move!"

"Oh, right..." R.Rockman picked up Katya and jumped out of the way. Cyclone let the track drop when they were a safe distance from the area and sighed. She turned and faced Tremor again, instead finding herself staring at R.Blues.

"Got away...but he won't again." Cyclone nodded as R.Rockman walked up to her, still holding the unconscious Katya. Cyclone pressed the small orb on her Net Op's belt and the Dimensional Area disappeared. Cylcone returned to her PET and Netto and Rockman's Cross Fusion wore out.

"Aah..." Netto fell backwards, not prepared for Katya's weight. His PET landed on top of them. "Erm...Katya...can you wake up now?" Enzan snickered. "Enzan? Little help?" Katya shuddered and opened her eyes.

"Ugh...what happened?" She reddened when she realized that she was lying on top of Netto. "Uhm..." Meiru skidded to a stop to Enzan, who was laughing behind his hand. She twitched in anger and both Netto and Katya blushed crimson.

"Should we run?"

"Yeah...lets."

"Netto, what...hey!" Meiru protested as Katya helped Netto to his feet and they took off running in the opposite direction. "That wasn't funny Enzan!" Enzan backed away from Meiru, trying to muffle his laughter with his hand.
He glanced at his PET.

"Uhm...gotta run...something important to do. Later." He turned and ran off toward the park exit, leaving Meiru standing in the middle of the amusement park, fuming.
