I remember that cartoon. I have the first collection from ADV. I thought it had some good humor but other than that the NT Warrior cartoon and the Japanese version of this Cartoon (also available from ADV) is better. :]

If you mean "Upon A Star," that's not really a Japanese version of this cartoon, though it gives an idea of how they had wanted it to look and sound before it hit the focus group...

I never watched it when it was still on TV, but I bought the entire series on DVD. MAin reason being cuz Scott McNeil played Protoman and Wily. The animation is terrible, the characters are messed, but for some reason, I still like it. Go figure. I love the Scooby Doo wannabe Rush though XD

The animation really varied from ep to ep; you can't really give an adequate judgement on the whole series without doing at least one episode some injustice.

Yes, I remember Rush pretty well. In fact, he always provided comic relief at the end of each episode. Laughing Laughing

I enjoyed it on a certain level. I won't say it was horrible simply due to popular opinion, but it wasn't great. However, at the time it was all we had. Plus, it brought figures with it! I would have liked to see a mix of it and the game world we saw on Captain N. Though the Megaman on that show really irritated me. lol

I still like the ADV Japanese idea of animation style better. It could have worked and was closer to the games look and feel.

As for the whole Blues/Protoman thing, yeah, I guess he did work for Wily for a bit, but by the time this toon came out, everyone was more enlightened by the idea that he was on our side. Or his own side. Or whatever. Its just hard to imagine him taking orders from a very insane Dr. Wily. He certainly wasn't on Dr. Wily's side for long. I did like the brotherly dispute between him and Megaman though. I wish that he would have left Wily and just sorta appeared like he does in the games. Not really friend, not really foe, but at the same time sorta challenging Megaman after he helps. If the show had gone on, I wonder if they would have brought in Bass and Treble.

I never saw a full episode but I don't like it because the drawing style is just too different than what I'm used to (Megaman, X, and Roll in particular).

Hey guys!

Do you have a fav MegaMan episode?

I wanna share a good one, The Incredible Shrinking MegaMan.

Ok, this episode is when Dr. Wily and his robot masters shrink major cities down to size. MegaMan, however, tries to stop them, but he gets shrunk by that shrinking ray. I think that MegaMan had an advantage because he could easily spy on the robot masters during their 'city shrinking spree'. Of course, he got some help from Roll. I felt small when MegaMan called Roll 'his little sister'.

I have 3.

Electric Nightmare: That one had some witty comebacks like when Roll gets trapped in the Cosmetic Dept. (*"I don't think you got the color right."*)

Mega Man In The Moon: This was...Interesting. I thought it was good.

Cold Steel: Sugar Ray supposedly guest stars in this episode as the band, "Cold Steel". Plus it wasn't too bad. :]

Did you say that Sugar Ray appeared in the episode 'Cold Steel'?

"The Beginning," which had some pretty awesome detail and animation and such, and was the first American non-game showing of the origin of Mega Man.

"Mega X," because dammit, it was X and company.

I don't remember much of The Beginning 'cause I have not seen the show in years.

Get MMAC for the PS2 and it's featured as an unlockable.

That is, if you've no other way...

Maybe I can rent the DVDs, or better yet, I can try to get the GC and get MMAC and MMNT.

If you get the GC version, you're barking up the wrong tree. AP put a G4 "Icons" special about Mega Man on there instead...

Yup, "The Beginning" is an exclusive to the PS2 version.

And I'll have to agree with LBD, "The Beginning" had some awesome animation and because of that it's my favorite epissode. I also love the "Electric Nightmare" episode, because that was one of the more action packed episodes, not mention my very first. And then there's "The Megaman on the Moon" which featured my favorite MM1-MM5 Robot Master, Crystalman, kicking some serious butt.

I may not be too sure about IMDB. Aren't they thought to be wrong sometimes? http://www.tv.com/mega-man/cold-steel/episode/207301/summary.html
TV.com says the lead singer was in there.
