Scenario Boss help BN2 *possible Spoilers*

Treat him as you would any boss navi. Pah, I beat him with AquaCust. :)The most annoying portion of the battle, of course, is that as soon as time zero is reached (right at the beginning of turn 1), he will use MagLine a few times and throw you off balance.

I'd suggest looking through your folder for LifeSword components. The Z and O-Cannon PA's are rather weak, (since they require 3 codes at least and mess with the fluidity of your folder) and what with the Magnetic panels, one will certainly be thrown off-balance, so that PA is no good. By this time you should have a few copies of LifeSwrd1, perhaps some of LifeSwrd2, and well, if you have any copies of LifeSwrd3, good for you. Use them and make your life a LOT easier.

I'd suggest using GutsMan or Repair to get rid of your Magnet Panels, but be fairly warned--he WILL regenerate them at some time with a MagLine.

And Gater is pretty much the answer to everything. ^_^

Use seed bomb chips they do 200 damage to him.

i used navi chips and fast firing chips like no tomorrow on him, I had aqua team and only half my HP (i ran out of full energies >_< ) it took me 10 tries (i still didn't know why i kept aqua team)

If you like long battles, make sure your timing is correct when it comes to dodging, I was able beat him in 3 mins or so, only lost about 200 HP or so.

I don't care about S-ranks though, as long as I live I'm happy.

Three minutes? That's quite a while. The longest I ever spent on any battle was around 100 seconds. Anyway....

If his magnetic sphere has you going nuts, I suggest sideboarding in as many copies of ToadMan as you can. As he is charging the sphere, lay down ToadMan and stun him. The sphere should dissipate since he is paralyzed and cannot continue charging the sphere.

yea thats the thing those spheres, since I'm aqua I take double damage, so I end up waiting for the attack to pass before I attack (timing OMG!)
thats why.

Just to make people cry even more, I took me 5 mins to beat Duo the first time around, I had such a crappy folder at the time, buster all the way then.

Oh, I didn't intend to say that you were a bad player. -_-;

But yes, I may have gone over that limit I set in the final boss battles. Since it is not timed, and I do not count my turns, I have no clue how long I take usually.

If you are playing AquaTeam against him, and you can live without the extra three navi chips and the specialized charge shot, then I suggest reverting to normal before the battle. At least you won't have as much trouble with your life.

I havent played BN2 in a while, but werent there Lance chips? Those solved my problems with elec navis.

S-Ranking is what the game is all about.......

Anyway, this particular boss, magnetman, is very easy to defeat. Preset a repair if you are inept enough to allow them to bother you. Then proceed to use any good PA, and throw in a couple of Treebombs. There you go. S-Rank. An aqua style is no reason not to get a good score; I used Aqua Guts my first time around.

Do remember that Repair is only a temporary fix, as he will not hesistate to use MagLine again to recover the Magnet Panels and screw you up again.

I think that there were. If you are lucky enough to have one, then by all means, please use it. Even if it doesn't shove him up one row into LifeSword range, it is still a solid 180 damage.

the thing with me, is that I always use a crappy folder, don't ask why, cuz near the end my charged buster does more damage then half the chips in my folder(s).

long story short, I can't S-rank a navi to save my life (plantman+lavastage+heatground is an exception)

As long as I get through the storyline once I'll be happy, I don't know if BN5 has those contiunes or not (I don't own it) but if it does then I'll get around to S-ranks.

why I suck = crappy folder

I'm good with a good folder, but I'm too lazy to change them half the time.
