Will Bass end up a loose end to the anime?*spoiler maybe*

There has been no confirmation of EXE6 coming to the DS, despite speculations. In the near future, they might release it, but at this point it isn't likely.

Well, crap.... looks like I was right.... Rather depressing. Maybe I can cling to a small sliver of hope of them making a movie about him. But really THREE full seasons without any kinda reference to him at all. Sad really.

I am disappointed that the storyline about Forte wasn't resolved. I mean after what we saw in Stream I was really hoping that he would come back in Beast+ as the last villain determined to get Rockman's Beast Out abilities. I would have really liked it seeing Forte using a Beast Out as well.
While Cache was a reasonable villain and managed to almost succeed in his plans I personally believe that a final showdown between Beast Out Rock vs. Forte [spoil:3b573d140a]and his absorbed powers of Nebula Grey[/spoil:3b573d140a] (referring to the anime, not entirely sure if I should use the spoiler tag), would have been better.

That would be an amazing finale I would have loved to see. I just find it hard to believe that after everything that happened since Stream Forte wouldn't at least make one attempt to obtain Rockman's abilities. If Forte would get Beast Out he would be unstoppable. Maybe he will appear again in a movie but I am not really counting on it. Sigh, IMHO he was a great character who deserved more screentime.

I am not entirely sure yet if it would be a good thing if Forte would appear
in Ryuusei. If he does, please give him a solid foundation in the story and not just an one-time unexplained appearance.

One positive thing about this IMO would be this: because Forte's storyline was never resolved, many fans can now decide for themselves what happened to him. Not to mention it would make very nice fanfic material.

This is why I liked the manga so much more than the anime. The manga followed the games more (and added some pretty interesting stuff), and I think it represented Forte's story really well. I mean, there were, like, two bonus chapters about him!

One big disappoint for me, and one of the reasons I stopped watching the anime, is that they ruined Forte's character (in my opinion). When I read about how Forte shows up, I just couldn't believe they used such a silly plot device. So the fact that they never wrapped his story in the anime doesn't surprise me. Seems like he was just a mere plot device.

Although, I also feel that the manga went downhill after [spoil:56faa7dbdd]the big battle between Saito Rockman and Forte on that cruise ship[/spoil:56faa7dbdd]. So I guess I'm just a big Forte fan XD [spoil:56faa7dbdd]Still, I love how the manga kept brining him back.[/spoil:56faa7dbdd] And it made sense, too!

Oh well, maybe Ryuusei will have its own Forte-like villain. Zero, maybe? *gets shot* Just kidding :p

It was lame how they decided to make some no name phantom villain the final boss in the series finale instead of giving us one of two characters who actually deserved it, Dr Wily or Bass. That phantom guy didn't even had a backstory or anything, he was just there. Heck, I would have rathered had the Zero Virus guy in the finale than that, at least we knew who he was and would have had somewhat of an ending for Beast+.

Personally, I'd like it if they made a movie to completely wrap up the EXE series (sort of like a grand finale). Forte could be the main villain of the movie, though I'm not sure how it could work out. After all, Forte is practically a god now that he's absorbed Nebula Grey and [spoil:1e7616e431]Slur.[/spoil:1e7616e431] Maybe they could somehow bring Serenade or Alpha into the story. I'm sure people would prefer Serenade, but I don't know how she'd fit in.

Also, if they DO make a movie, I'll like it if they could use part of it to wrap up the romance between Netto and Meiru. I'm surprised that blockhead hasn't kissed her yet, or vice-versa. A final movie could be a chance for them.
