I've been playing GHIII for a month (borrowed a friend's PS2 and his game) on a SG Guitar, and so far I can expert most of the songs. Songs like One, Raining Blood (Jeez, I can't even beat this on Hard for some reason) and TTFAF (Damn intro.) are the ones that I can not beat on Expert yet. Except those ... I think I can handle most, if not all of the other songs.

Although I can probably beat TTFAF on Expert if I am in Co-op and is the rhythm. =P

@ Zero: i have it on the Wii.

@ Synchro: i envy you. i'm on Hard in Career right now. 'tis very hard. and, i can't even beat TTFAF on Medium. i get about 70% through the song, then i get to the solos and the bastard audience boos me off the stage.

and, believe it or not, i actually kind of like the Slipknot song, even though i hate Slipknot. i also like:
Disturbed - Stricken
Die Toten Hosen - Hier Kommt Alex
Revolverheld - Generation Rock
Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee
Rage Against the Machine - Bulls On Parade

oh, i didn't see that you said Rock Band. lol

yeah, i only have GH3. Hier Kommt Alex is a pretty good song. although, i don't like the fact that it's in German. i may be a German student, but that doesn't mean that i like it. in fact, after this year, i'm not taking German anymore.

so, i've gotten to Lou's Inferno on Hard. and i can't finish any song. the only song i get close to finishing is One by Metallica. there's this one part in that song where i just lose everything. oh well.

BTW, i finished TTFAF on Medium. i guess it was because i got used to playing on Hard that everything seemed a little slower on that song.

I too Have GH3 for the Wii, Already beaten easy mode, And can beat a good amount of Songs on hard.

Through the Flames and The Fire song(Hard and Expert)..>_<..Can pass the intro barely but once I hit the 2nd part of the song its a nightmare@_@.......I have the speed to do it..I just need my strumming hand to be quicker (I'm a righty when I play GH)

Although I can't see how any one is sappouse to beat it on either modes..Who ever made that song for this game should be glad their gutarist can actually do it@_@.

I heard the band who made that song is the fastest band on record. Or at least, that song is.

this is a video of somebody playing and five-starring TTFAF on Expert. it's possible. he didn't get 100% though.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=W4M7f4-bhbE

and, Robin.exe, i saw the music video for that song. they have two guitarists, which i suppose would make some of it a little easier.

also, i think the song was written in a way so that it's really hard on all instruments played. the drum part uses two basses, and a lot of drummers can't play with two basses. some of them can't even play with one bass. LOL

If you think TTFAF is hard on guitar hero...just imagine how many blisters you'd get from it on a real guitar XD

By no means am I saying the song looks easy. Hell no. I've watched the videos and...jesus, that song just plain scares me.

That guy..is crazy...I can't believe he manage to get trhough the entire song while at the sametime..Getting 5 stars.

But like they say, The more pratice you get into the song the general idea will come to you...Imagine doing it with 2p Co-Op.

Bah I rather see someone cover that song on a real guitar than on GH. :/ Maybe I see that cause I play Guitar/Bass and not really amazed that someone has real good eye and hand coordination.

OMFG....I played GHIII at my local Best Buy yesterday and it is so much fun!(They set up the XBox version with 2 wireless controllers, but for some reason, the 2nd one doesn't work...)

One thing I love is that Easy mode FINALLY allows you to make some cold, hard cash to spend on stuff for the store.I noticed it when I scored 100% on "Rock You Like a Hurricane" in the Career Mode.(Played it w/ Izzy Sparks P2 costume,1st variant with the God of Rock's guitar)

The game is pretty good, but I may not be getting this game in the future...mom says the graphics put her off.Sad

However,if you want to see some interesting action,my 13 year-old brother can play "When You Were Young" on Expert and get 3 or 4 stars out of it.:O

Guys I did it, I manage to beat that song on Hard with a 3 stars rating..Man I was so glad I past the 3rd part of the first half that I manage to get through it..I had to use star power here and there though..But I'm glad I got that done on Hard@_@.

Thanks, Was wondering if any one haves the Wii version of this game?

Cause I wouldnt mind doing Co-Op with some of you guys/girls. I'm still working on Hard mode so I can do a few songs on that mode.
