If you're sad enough to try sounding condecending by pointing out the obvious, then you need therapy, and plenty of it
Snakeman: There was originally going to have a navi called "diamondman" but they changed him to snakeman but left his navimark the same.
Yamatoman's mark is not a spear, that's pretty obvious, but since you didn't leave any discusion on it open with your "I SAID SO!!!" mentality, really saying things like "It's what I say, period" really destroys the purpose and fun of a thread like this.
Plantman's mark is quite clearly a flower, why would a flower based navi not have a flower based navi-mark? That's like saying Shadowman's mark is a Frisbee. |
At least it's only my second - I believe yours is the nth time...
Please forgive my heinous crime - I think I was the only one who was ignorant of the fact that there was a plan to make a "DiamondMan" since I don't have contact with Capcom... That's why I guessed what the diamond is supposed to mean...
I would like to reiterate: YamatoMan's symbol is NOT A SPEAR - it is a ROTATING SPEAR held on its other end. That's why there're three lines protuding outward from the center of the circle - not to mention spear-end like marking on the circle itself. AT LEAST, THAT'S WHAT I BELIEVE...
And as for saying periods, it would be more of an insult to the intelligence of the readers if I explained further why that symbol is so. Everyone has common sense, man...
And please tell me that these don't look like a set of thorns...

If it's not, then it must be something else besides a blossom - since it doesn't look anything like one... |
That's from the anime, and it is miscolored and misshapen .
All you seem to do is list things then state them as fact, it gets boring.... come up with some other things and stop being Wapanese. I never tried to condecend to you, the way you jump on people just bugs me.
Aquaman should be the new Pepsi mascot. Try new extreme walrus juice. Ride the Walrus, just don't constantly correct it like a some kind of Wapanese teacher.
This is Junkman saying "Shove a list in it" _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

I was under the impression that what you write in here is an opinion unless you clearly say it so...
Well, I don't have any other source for PlantMan's navi mark besides the anime - so there...
One more thing, Mr. I-hate-Wapanese-coz-I-know-how-to-speak-Nihonggo: What's the significance if Serenade's mark is related to the word 'Urakawa'? I mean, not all of us are as perfect as you... _________________ 闇の黒井心の本当のカ

I think the two of you are making a big deal out of nothing and need to step away from your computer and take a break. This is not something worth getting worked up over.
The navi marks are simplified and abstract. Trying to find the meaning behind them is like trying to find the meaning to modern art. And if you've ever seen modern art, you'll know it makes no sense. Naturally people are going to get different interpretations from it. You know there are numerous ways to interpret Blues' symbol, and no interpretation is any less correct than the other. If you aren't willing to keep an open mind and swap ideas in a sensible manner with others, why you're even on this forum to begin with is beyond me.
Now then, I think Rock's symbol could be anything. It could be a soccer ball, for all I know, but I think it simply represents two halves becoming one. This could have to do with the netto/saito dealie, or possibly with the fact that Rock joins with other navis to grow stronger, hence two pieces joining into one. Just my theory. _________________ Original name: blazequest |
