Read closer, it's speculated that it will be for PSP, not confirmed so don't worry too much yet (plus, it seems odd that it'd only come out for Gamecube and PSP).

Edit: Found another article, it says that Famitsu said PSP and Gamecube, so I guess that speculation is probably right ._.
Still doesn't mean it won't get ported though.
The article has some interesting information about the DS game too.
There's going to be a new character, Joe's sister Jasmine.
And there's a new VFX power with the touch screen (you use your finger instead of the stylus, so it doesn't disrupt gameplay.) where you swipe the screen in half, then they'll be seperated in to the two screens and you somehow use it to horizontally displace objects.
The example there was that you could use it to cut a billboard in half and then the top half would end up falling on to the enemy.

His sister?! But that VFX power sounds pretty cool and as long as the games are on the cube, I'll be fine. (I wish I could the cut scenes of the Dante run of VJ 1 of the PS2.)

Were any of the VJ2 characters introduced? Like Big John, Flinty Stone, or Jet Black. Did the Black Emperor make a appearence too? Surprised

Jet was introduced

Bloody Rachel was in the new opening and next ep preview.

Sergent Big John was also introduced in the next ep preview.

Doctor Kraken was introduced.

Black the Great was introduced.

Well "Black Taitei" I translated it a little different (Taitei means Emperor or "The Great" etc...same premise.)

Yeah, Jet was in this episode...but devoid of his New York accent...oh well...he's still there XD

Oh yeah, and Doctor Kraken's anime voice is ANNOYING...XD

I really liked Kranken's anime voice XD
Judging by the op, it looks like Charles/Bruce/Hulk are gonna show up sometime, as good guys.
Also, the next episode preview makes it look like Jr. might finally get a way to actually fight.

I was just kidding, I sort of like Kraken's new voice (Not as cliche, sounds funnier)

It's funny, I remember Capt Blue getting turned into an Oscar...I wonder if they will follow that same premise in the anime...

I don't know if those three will show up again cause I remeber that shot from another episode. Black the great? eh same thing aparently and crakken is annoying (but really easy to beat) Jr. getting a weapon should be good, I think they're yo-yos.

Hmmm, anyone noticed that the movie theater ISN'T a wreck? I mean, in the first episode, the Six Majin trashed the place. Now its perfectly okay? Ah...the instanteous fixing of destroyed material found only in anime...XD

Oh, and can anyone upload 25? No one is seeding on the torrent.

Found some clear pictures and screens of Viewtiful Joe DS...

Horizontal Displacement, to precisely say what it does drops objects on the top half the screen (uses a theatre sign in the example) on to the bottom. I'm guessing this'll also be used to get items too.

The graphics are very close to the main series graphics, still an obvious difference, but it's very good for the DS.

Also, I saw the poster for it... I just noticed, it makes it look like Alastor is a prominent figure in this. Maybe he'll play a part in the plot or something.

In Viewtiful Joe, he could be seen (Then there was that funny line "Come on, help a brother out!" XD)

In Viewtiful Joe 2, he got thrown outside the movie.
