Ryuusei 53 (I thought spoilers were my friends)

Sorry, I added that paragraph at the last second before I hit 'submit' and didn't do any revising to it, so what I was hearing in my head didn't come out right in text.

I was intending for 'praising' and 'Adachi perfectness' to be overemphesized and sarcastic, indicating that I was using those words/phrases loosely. That especially goes for the 'Adachi perfectness' phrase, I was drawing a comparison between my opinion and the similarities people have created between Nao and the general concesus(sp?) of Adachi being the best direct in Ryuusei.

And the business about reusing scenes? Eh... that's a personal quirk more than anything else. My job as an audio producer requires me to eliminate redundancy and repitition, and so when I saw that many recycled scenes strung together, my training kicked into gear and I started sounding the alarm about it.

I'm well aware that Adachi does the same thing. That scene where we stare over the edge of the Gatling in the Cygnus Wing battle was lifted straight out of the Ox Fire episodes. While that irritated me, the fact that the next few scenes weren't recycled didn't give me cause to get excited about it.

I still can't get past the repitition, but like I said, that's probably more me than anything else.

LOL.

I will say that seeing it in HQ, I didn't notice the anorexic-ness like I did before. And I do agree with Seiko to an extent that the fluidity of Nao's work is maybe even better than Adachi's. Granted he's only done one episode, but overall art style, I still think I prefer Adachi over Nao. But the caps turned out really nice, so hope somebody out there enjoys them.

I didn't think there would be many pans, but along the way I guesstimated I'll have about 7 or so to do...

*10/20 EDIT*...Or 11. To note, I'm happy with Pan 8, because the missing background cloned nicely. Thankfully I could do that on a few so that Pan 3 is the only choppy boxy one. Pan 3 also has some coloring error on Rock's earpiece thingy, but that's not my doing of course. And I can't help but imagine a stupid caption for Pan 5 with Subaru telling Akane that he and Misora just got married. It just fits so well! Laughing

Don't know if it worked the entire way through for ya, Seiko, but they seem to have gone up fine. We've had some similar numbers before. It's just when I go crazy with the needed extras for pans or get amused with odd quirks in facial expressions and poses I tend to go overboard in my batches.

Blast, what the heck can I say so this post has something on topic...um, uh...I like these new Star Carriers lots more than those bulky transers. Sure, that'll do!
