Chapter one: a normal day around town

"LAN!! WAKE UP!"
As Lan laid there, he seemed shut out from the world. He enjoyed the peace and wanted it last forever...
"Lan.... your going to be late for school"
Just then Lan snapped back to reality.
"WHAT!?!?! WHY DIDN"T YOU WAKE ME UP MEGAMAN!?!?!"
"I tried. Its your fault you weren't listening..."
Lan ran out the door and down the street toward school. Why am I always late, Lan thought as he was running. He was too occupied to notice the street lights were out of control and almost got hit by a speeding car.
"what the..."
Lan looked to the intersection to see a pile up of cars and out of control light signals.
"Why am I always late..."
