I think it's pretty safe to assume that it's been cancelled... I tried asking Capcom about this through email, and this is what I got.

Mmm..... generic responses..... no where in that email does it say "MegaMan"... -sigh- Honestly I don't even think they know what the anniversary collection is down there...

I hear ya. That game had GREAT potential. A great many people regard MegaMan IV and V as two of the greatest games in the Classic Series. I've never even played them so I was REALLY looking forward to it. The only classic GB game I got to play was II and that in itself would've been reason enough for me to buy the collection; it kicked serious ass!
Unfortunately Capcom just can't stop milking the X, Zero, and BN series for long enough to show the Classic series (and Legends series, but that's not what this topic is about!!) any love....

:D Yeah, sure... After over a year I think it's safe to assume it's gone for good. Maybe, if the X, Zero, or BN series start to stop bringing in significant amounts of money it could happen, but ehh... I doubt it.

I read somewhere that it was supposed to come out before May of 2004. 
I think it's safe to assume that it's pretty much gone.

Yeah, looking at how this has developed, the current release date seems to be the First of Never.

Hey! Sounds just like Crapcom to end up doing this to MMAC. *sighs* I was REALLY looking forward towards it also... Now I have to fill up my FLASH ROM with the actual games by themselves...

They probably got Atomic Planet to develop this one at the same time as the other ones... maybe they decided to debug this one first.

I hope so too...
However, i strongly agree with most fellow members by the fact that Capcom, simply, cancelled the game.
If, and i really mean, IF Capcom surprises us by actually releasing this game, i'll start believing in them again...but until that happens...
