Progress PET Help *Spoilers for Progress PET Possible*

I got my Progress PET yesterday, and have been tinkering around with it ever since. I've got most of the controls down, but I still have no clue how to turn off the horrible sound... >_<

But I can live with that. -.-

What I can't live with is the fact that for the moment, I appear to be stuck on the first map indefinately.

Every time I reach a gate or door, I can't pass, and because the messages are in Japanese(DUH) I can't read them to figure out what I need to do to move on. -_-;
