Which games do you think were great in every way, but one MAJOR flaw in it ruins it?

I'd have to say Actraiser for the SNES. Fun game, but it's too easy!

Sonic Heroes could've been good if it didn't have so many glitches.

:D

Space Station: Silicon Valley. I love that game except for the one level in which it's impossible to get the souvenir because whoever was testing the game didn't do a very good job of it. You can still get the bonus level with a controller code, but I believe there's still a second ending you can never see unless you hack into the game to get that last souvenir. Bah.

Man, where do I start?
KOTOR2: Too many glitches :grr: and apparently rather short(I haven't finished it because of all the glitches T_T )

Blinx 1: There was a big problem in the time crystal collecting I think( haven't got it)

Blinx 2: Too short and a lack of good minigames(all they had was things where you play as your character doing one task and getting 'Emblems' so they could get free items -.- ) The final boss was too easy and the switching of teams was terrible because one moment you're play as TIme Sweeper in there platforming stages then the next moment you're in the stealth stages of the Tom Toms which was annoying as you could get hyped up because of the TS levels and then suddenly you have be stealthy and NOT kill everything in sight. Oh yeah and it's really stupid after a level of Tom Tom stealth and then your boss battle requires n stealh and all you do is shoot shoot shoot and it's dead except for the [spoil:e95f76c6a5]Tundragon[/spoil:e95f76c6a5] and also [spoil:e95f76c6a5]the tanks aiming sucks really bad[/spoil:e95f76c6a5]

Haha that's my two cents or my 180 words ^_^ Laughing

This might not be what you want, but Klonoa Door to Phantomile was too easy and short, awesome plot but just too short....

Breath of Fire 5, I loved nearly everything about the game except for the way Capcom used the New Game + gimmick they had. The game was ruined for me because of that ._.

Baten Kaitos for the GameCube was a fine RPG created by Namco but was plagued with mediocre voice acting. Their voices sounded like their talking inside a fish bowl.

The English version of Bomberman Jetters. The VAing in that game SUCKED no fooling, and they took out the opening which was pretty catchy...damn you Majestico!! *waves fist in anger*

Also Viewtiful Joe 2. Its a REALLY good game with great gameplay, it was just a bit too short and the bosses were easy on Kids mode (Which wasn't the point in VJ 1, I had to fight Fire Leo AT least 7 times to beat him on Kids mode one time.) Except for the Dark Kaiser...he was pretty hard...and Frost Tiger on Ultra V Rated (PINK HEALTH! PINK!!) I hope the third one is a bit better.

You think those bosses where easy? I had to fight a few of them a few times to beat them. (pink health? oh boy...)

Fable would be better if you didn't have to only do the main quest.

KOF 2002. OK, so it's not precisely a programmed flaw, but it's mostly a popularity flaw. See, since the game was so damn popular, our mexican pirates got to the job of coloring the game in any way possible. So we have a thousand versions of KOF2K2 throughout the country, all of them different by the sprite colors. We have the Ice Version, the Fire version, the emerald version, the orange version, any color you can think of. And all of them just mere RECOLORS. :grr:

If that doesn't counts as a flaw, well, duh.

Sonic Adventure 2 would have been an AWESOME game had each character had their own stories to follow like in SA1.

Tails + forced to ride in a mecha to balance out Eggman = Ugh.

Rouge + forced to glide when she's a bat and can obviously fly just to balance out Knuckles = Ugh-er.

I actually found some flaws in bn3. just small things, but still flaws. like they misspelled lots of words. like it says the effects of zapring. it says praylizing. and theres a spot right before you fight flaman where they screw up whos doing what. i think lan commands flaman to do somthing.

Simcity 4 could have been awesome, except for two flaws: Auto-streets (fixed in the patch) and the lot system really killing creative design.

X6. Why? Fan-service and money. CAPCOM wanted to get more money through the X franchise and ruined the storyline along the way. And too many fanboys/fangirls wanted to see Zero alive and being the usual uber-badass that he is. :grr: No offence to the fanboys/fangirls that exist here.

At LEAST that's going to change since Inafune gained a higher (and influential, hopefully) position in the company, but still... :/

That's not a flaw. They speak Japanese (even though the text was in English) because CAPCOM didn't have time to edit it out for its worldwide release. -_-;

It still is a rather good game. Nevertheless, I do agree--Tails does NOT belong in a mech.

Knux levels are quite good though. I seem to have a knack for finding things on zero clues--developed a "tripartite" theory just for that.

Onto topic--I will use MMBN4. The lack of a story of any sort really destroyed it in my eyes.

I think 3-D is a major flaw and should be abolished for the sake of games everywhere. :P
