Anyone want to help me figure out my Plug-In PET?

I just won one of the original Plug-In PETs on an eBay auction (for about 70 bucks... much better price, considering Toys N Joys is selling them for over 100 dollars)... it's the red, Enzan version, to boot (which, up until I saw the eBay auction, I did not realize existed).

Anyway, yeah, these Plug-In PETs are MILES ahead of the PET Advance toys (though I can't compare to the Progress PETs; don't have any of those yet). I mean, it's got TONS more options, sound effects, music, voice... much better. The only downside is the chip selection... it's really too bad the battle chips weren't made interchangably between all three PETs.

But, anyway, I don't know how anything on this beast works... being in complete Japanese and all. I figured out the basic stuff... basically, just how the accessories operate (plug-in cord, battle chip slotting, etc. etc.)... I just dunno how to use the dang thing.

Anyone want to give me some help? It'd be much appreciated.

Snap... I believe I may have posted this topic in the wrong area of the forums. (I believe I did that when I first made a topic like this when I got a Japanese PET Advance, too...) Sorry... =/ This goes in Game Center, right?

well, not really, since the PET is part of the anime, so I think you are okay.

I know for sure it has an alarm clock. XD It's really loud too. All I could figure out on mine is the alarm and net battling. Every now and then I would get an e-mail from a random character. n.n;

I wish I could explain more, but I'm waiting to put the new battery in my Enzan one till I hit the cons with my cosplay.

The alarm scares the bejesus out of me. Waking up to a strange Japanese voice - not Rockman's by any stretch of the imagination - yelling "Get up! Get up!" is not something I want to re-experience. >.>

He's talking about the one from Battle Network 3, as well as the original first two seasons of EXE. Those were the first PETs to be made, and were only released in Japan and Hong Kong.

And I personally find them to be a lot cooler than the PET Advance... if only I could figure out how to do anything on them. All I could figure out was the Rush mini-games. I got Rockman to plug-in, but all he does is look around for a few seconds, and then plugs-out.

So, can you explain to me how to net battle and set the alarm? Another alarm would be helpful, since I manage to sleep through all three of mine every morning.

Oh, and sorry about the double posting. I know on normal occasions that it's against the rules (and just flat-out annoying), but I felt like that second part about relocating the topic may needed to stand out a bit...

EDIT: Nevermind. 'Got the alarm. I expected it to be louder and God-awfully annoying (like the "incoming message" in Stream). 'Still need virus busting assistance, though.

It looks like the PET holder contains a Yo-Yo chip, but I really dunno... These chips are made up... the 8 that came with my Enzan PET were Heart, Cool, Burst, Guts, Blade, Spark, Leaf, and Advanced. I dunno what they do, since I haven't tried virus busting yet.

No. The white chips are for the Plug-In PET, the blue/gray ones are for the PET Advance/PET Advance II, and the black ones are for the Progress PET.

Crimson, I have the funny feeling you won that Plug-In PET from me, since I recently sold mine on Ebay for about $70, since I needed the cash.

Anyways, yes, Yo-Yo comes with the PET Holder, however I have an 11th battle chip, called Metal. Not sure where it came from but I have a sneaky suspicion that it might have come with the GBA game Rockman.EXE 3 White. If not, then I have no idea where to get it.
