...and more!

I found this on digg.com a few minutes ago:
http://gonintendo.com/?p=877

The pages titled Capcom has a couple cute EXE references, namely lineart of Medi an a screencap of Colonel and Barrel... and my favourite "I think I would have to be Lan's dad, as he has a really pretty wife!" XDXD

Twilight Princess for GameCube and Revolution?

Oh man! I wonder how they'll pull that off.

That's not what the article says, whereas it states quite readily how they'll "pull off" making the Rev backwards compatible with GameCube games.

Twilight Princess is coming out for GameCube. But like any other GC game, you can play it on your Revolution as well.

It only supports the Revolution controller; it won't actually be on the system.

It pisses me off that it was pushed back to November, though. I gave up hope on it.

this means i'll have had it preordered for a year before i get it. i hope Gamestop remembers i had it preordered by the time it comes out (if it EVER comes out). it had better be well worth the wait.

Basically....

The Game itself is intended for the Gamecube but playing it on the Revolution will allow for extra gameplay using the new controller.

I think I got that right :D

In other news, I wanna see the Medi lineart~! :D *can't find it....blah*

That's right. I remember hearing something about using the Revolution controller to do things like sword swings for Link. I just didn't realize they meant that Twilight Pricess was supposed to be enhanced to use that. Hey, that gives me an idea! Zero Revolution. If they were to make a Zero game for a Non-GBA system, it could use the sword controlled by the Revo-troller, since Zero's probably the most famous sword weilder in games after Link. Hey, the people at Capcom are smart. They could make it work.

It's a Gamecube game. It uses a Gamecube controller. However, it will be released near the release of the Revolution in order to increase Revo's sales.
Oh Nintendo, I love how you think November 2005 = November 2006.
(It's like Ocarina of Time all over again! March 1998? Oh no, we meant November. Hee! Oh well, I really was expecting this one to get delayed too.)

No not really...there's a ton of other overly fanboyed sword users as well.

-Cloud Strife
-Sephiroth
-Kadaj
-Crono
-Frog
-Serge
-Dante
-Auron
-Squall Lionheart
-The list goes on and on and on....

Serge doesn't use a sword. he uses the Swallows. though, that would be pretty cool, having a Rev controller controlling a Swallow.

Swallows are technically swords, just double bladed ones.

I always wondered, is swallow the technical term for one of those?

they don't seem like swords to me... my explanation for his first one (the Sea Swallow?) is that it's pretty much a kayak paddle (just in case you're wondering, kayaks have double-bladed paddles, canoes have single-bladed paddles).

and, Jean, about the technical terms, i think so. i'll Wiki it, and see if that's it.

EDIT: nope, nothing.

Awesome ^_^ ! The new controller will allow for even better control over games. Oh, and I do hope they give Zero some of that controller love. Controlling his individual slashes would be insanely awesome!! Thanks for the scanilations!
Oh, and what is this :O <?

Despite the fact that Twilight Princess has been delayed...

Celebrate!!

Today is Zelda's 20th birthday! Twenty years ago today the original Legend of Zelda was released in Japan!
(And I'm totally wearing the Zelda shirt I bought at Hot Topic yesterday. I went in the store to show a friend that they sell Nintendo shirts, and right in front they had a black shirt with the Royal Family crest on it... the bird with the Triforce over it, you know? And HAD to buy it. Hah! It is so spiffy... :D )
