Okay. So today while I was playing MMBN4: Red Sun, I was doing that WaterGod Quest thing. But while running around inside of the statue, I came across a golden program, just like the ones in MMBN5! In the 2nd level of the WaterGod, it said stuff about "Thieves getting away with all the others and hoping to meet again".

Anyway, it healed Megaman entirely and then gave me 2000z, talking about "A meeting of fate"...

Anyone else ever had this happen-? I assume it's rare.

Golden program? Hmm... I could swear I had my hit points healed and received a large wad of zenny, but I do not remember a golden program...? : -_-;

Well...this should go up in the EXE4 help section, but if what you guys are saying is true, you are lucky bastages.

The Gold Mr. Prog in question is the Bank Program. He will wander about randomly in the WaterGod comp when you are doing Paulie's task for the RS or BM tournament, and if you encounter him, you will receive something good. I am convinced he exists, but I myself have never found him.

If I remember, on my guide, it says that if you revisited the WaterGod comp, you can meet golden programs that give you chips and zannys. I never met one, but that's what my walkthrough said.

I ran into the golden program once. I don't know why people call him the "bank program", he never called himself that. Now keep in mind I own copies of both Red Sun and Blue Moon, I have played through BM three times, and RS five times, and on top of that I've done a few more playthroughs with roms. I'd guess I've been subjected to that wretched WaterGod Scenario nearly ten times and I've run into the Golden Program once. So yeah, it's rare.

THis is a first that I have heard of a golden program. Is it just a program that is all gold? O.O I need to find it. It gives you zenny and heals you? Did each of those times that you encountered it, did you put to rest all the souls and/or have low HP?

wow... another guy found the bank program...

i never found it myself... but does it ONLY appear during paulie's mission? and yeah, putting all the virus souls to rest may also trigger it to appear.. who knows?
