Haven't you noticed?

Wood Navis
Always have a grey or blackened face with glowing or crysta eline eyes, exception: Tomahawk Man & Needle Man

Heat Navis
They never have a human face or even a basic humanoid shape
Exception: Burner Man

Water Navis
They are always the tiniest and the cutest navi in the game
Exception: Freezeman

:stonecube: The largest, burliest navi is always operated by a girl(even magnetman's operator became a woman in EXE 5)

The final boss always wants a big cereal and is so large it can barely even move

Ack, you forgot Sharkman for a non tiny Aqua Navi. And[spoil:de84478a50] Blizzardman[/spoil:de84478a50] is only so-so tiny in my opinion....well, only because he's somewhat bigger than the others I guess.

And of course, Gutsman is pretty large...but Dekao is a guy....I hope.

Stoneman doesn't count of course as he has no operator. Oh well.

The navi just reflects the operator's personality in some ways, or at least, their potential personality. Tamako had Metalman due to her aggressive and strong-as-steel character, Meiru has Roll for obvious reasons, Gutsman and Dekao for their burly strong and quite gorillaish manners, Numberman and Higsby since the first is a maths lover and a calculating guy, the latter was a teacher and a bit zoned-out person, Ring and Mary because the first is cheerish and playful, the second is a bit shy and calm. Navis inherit either their operator's character or turn into their "relative" complementary (Rock and Lan, Yaito and Glyde, Shuko and Aquaman).

^ nope....

Fireman's Fire Arm didn't neccessarily extend to only three squares, Flame Tower and Flame Circle are nothing of the sort, and Fire Bomb definately not the attack you speak of...

Bomberman didn't have a single attack that extended three squares in the matter of which you speak.

Heatman didn't have an attack like that either. Flame Tower and Grand Burner had a varying range.

FlameMan's Fire Blaze had more range than just three squares foward if I remember correctly...

Burnerman did in fact have a 3 square flame attack I think...Strike Burner. (not too sure but I believe it was three...)

So the only Fire navi that had an attack that was "3 square" was Burnerman and HeatStyle/FireSoul Rockman.

[spoil:0f1efd4c1e]Blizzard[/spoil:0f1efd4c1e] and cold do kind of count in the "cute" department, they have that Goofy comedy feel to them after all, and yeah I forgot Sharkman :/

XD XD XD!!!

If that's so, then I could pass Gutsman off as uber-kawaii. He's also goofy looking. Razz

As for patterns, there's the obvious one....the end-game bosses are all gigantic. I wonder what could ever be wrong if we had a really tiny boss???

A single Rock Buster from Rockman can kill the final boss in one hit. XD.

Stoneman and Gravityman are pretty big, but they have no operators.

A couple trends I have noticed though..

-Although not all aqua Navis are not cute/wimpy looking, every EXE game does have at least one cute/wimpy looking aqua Navi.

-Every EXE game has a Japanese themed Navi, although most of the time this Navi is Shadowman.

Er, I don't think those three count as small and/or tiny any way you look at it....

Have you noticed that the EXE games switch between focusing entirely on Electopia and featuring world travel? EXE 1, 3, and I belive 5 (haven't played it yet) are centered around events happening in Electopia, whereas EXE 2 and 4 allow you to visit other countries.

Have you also noticed that Hinoken/Mr. Match switches between being a villain and being just another NetBattler consistently? He was a villain in 1 and 3, and a civillian in 2 and 4.

He would've been good again in 5 if Napalm hadn't come along.

^ Um, no. Just no. That's all I have to say.

Anyway, has anyone else noticed that the Aqua navi's change in between 2 different difficulties between every game?

Ex. hard, easy, hard, easy, hard
EXE1: Sharkman was very, very hard
EXE2: Freezeman was a pushover
EXE3: Bubbs was quite hard for a tiny little navi, took me about 5 trys to beat him
EXE4: Aquaman was quite an easy navi to beat, and his attacks were easy to dodge.
EXE5:[spoil:e853c13a55]Blizzardman[/spoil:e853c13a55] was pretty annoying, and semi hard...

They're not end-game bosses....<_<

And you forgot that Toadman was in EXE2, is an Aqua Navi, and was VERY annoying to most people, which breaks your pattern. Also, Iceman was in EXE1, and wasn't too hard or too easy....

plus you forgot Coldman in your pattern. You can't point out a consistent and accurate pattern if it doesn't include all those in the particular catergory.

Do you people not understand that exe5 is to be marked with the Spoiler tag? I've had to edit the same thing out of three different posts in this thread.

One of the classes I took last semester was non-parametric statistics...and from what I learned there not one of these patterns would successfully test out to be real patterns simply because the sample sizes are too small. With just five games in the series, it's pretty hard to point out any real patterns. Sure, the stuff some people are noticing are interesting and all, but they could all easily be coincidences, so I wouldn't bother disputing any of it. These patterns are for amusement purposes only, I guess you could say.

Who's to say he would've been a good guy? If the pattern had been consistent, he would've been a villain had he been in 5. Working for [spoil:e166e54ba3]Regal[/spoil:e166e54ba3] maybe?

Josuke meant Match would have taken Nenji's place on the Team o' Blues.

*points to NapalmMan's bio on the concept art museum for EXE5.*

http://www.capcom.co.jp/rockmanexe

Spoilers in the above site obviously...

[spoil:ea7f267cb2]There's mention of how Heatman was originally going to be the offensive teammate on Team of Blues. And we all know Hinoken is Heatman's operator....just put 2 and 2 together.[/spoil:ea7f267cb2]
