|
|
I need help on beating Forte omega on BN3B, my HP is 1000, but I need help on customizing and selecting chips. When I fight him I take his aura off, then whithin 5 seconds it comes back, I only have one oportunity at shooting him with the guts buster and his most simple attack takes out 300HP, so darkaura wont work andwhithin 15 secs. he beats me.
Here are my details (not my best due to experiments)
Navicust:(nrmlstyl) Buster:all at 5
programs: BustrMAX, Bugstop, Drklcns, undersht
(elecguts): BusterMAX, Bugstop, undersht.
Library: Standard and Mega complete with 11 giga and 22 PA
If anyone has a stragety please tell me. I would really appreciate it. _________________

Build Flash Crusher. It is essentially a F-coded folder that is ridiculously easy to make, and relies on FlashMan to stun your opponent, then shoving 500-damage HyperRats down that stunned person's gullet.
Anyway, if you do not want to build it, he will usually regenerate his aura when he uses his Airburst attack, so if you see him charge the fist, you'd better be ready to stun him.
Rule 1: Put FolderBack in. You can't lose that way.
Rule 2: Set up the NC to draw as MANY chips as you can per turn. Preferably at least seven.
If you are going to break his aura, I suggest you do so at end of turn, so that you can immediately go into the Custom screen and capitalize on his downed aura.
I suggest getting FlashMan and an Icestage or two. That way, when you break it, you can time the stun before he regenerates it, and that leaves you an opening to shove whatever PA you wish on him.
Other than that, good luck.

You rely too heavily on your Buster for Bass Omega. You need some good chip attacks. If you're having too much trouble getting an attack in before the Aura goes back up, make sure you know when to destroy the aura, and do it just before the end of the turn so you can hit him with a fresh draw. I tend to prefer using StepCross chips to get rid of his aura, but whatever you use should be fine. |

One: Please don't double-post. And Sketch or Viewtiful, please don't kill me.
Raijin's right--a buster will not cut it. If his aura comes back up, like the song goes, "What is it good for?/Absolutely nothing."
You must depend on your chips to carry you to victory. Since you are playing Blue, you have FolderBack, which ensures that your draw pile will NEVER be depleted. I suggest trashing all buster ups in the NC and plug in as many Custom+ programs as you can. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Sorry for posting so much but Midnight Critic's idea for the icestage kept me thinking on what style should I use, I'm on my way to a bug style and I think its aqua, so what style would be best? _________________

Style isn't really important in this battle, but since you want chips, Custom Style will help. Element is unimportant since you won't depend on your buster.
Like MC said, paralyzing chips are a real asset since they'll put extra delays between his aura raisings, not to mention his attacks. Forget about Master Style, but keep BodyGuard. BodyGuard will do half your work for you.

You cannot control the element. I will suggest, though, that you try to align yourself to Custom. Not only is it a free hand size+1, but it gives those odd codes for chips that you didn't even know existed and it gives programs for loading your hand. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! and you might perhaps want to try to get the Saito.Batch, and try to go with a custom style. If you're using HP up programs, you'll have to scrap them, but here's a list from GameFAQs of what it can do:
[spoil:edde9c2a28]Name of Program: Saito Batch / HubBatc
Color: Orange
Description of Effects: Enables the following Programs:
- Super Armor <-
- Break Buster
- Break Charge
- Custom 1 <- You'll have 7 chips default with Custom Style
- Mega-Folder 1
- Shield <- it should stop a couple of attacks at least
- Under Shirt <-
- Air Shoes
- Float Shoes
- Shadow Shoes
Causes a Glitch of Half HP.
Acquire: Secret Area 3 BMD
Usefulness: *****
Shape:
[ ][#][ ]
[ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ]
oh, and the modcodes for it are here Error : S2G
Name : SaitoBatch (Normal, Bug) [HP/2]
Code : AX1RTDS3
Error : S2C
Name : SaitoBatch (Custom, Brother, Ground) [HP/2]
Code : TU1AW2LL
Error : S2S
Name : SaitoBatch (Shadow, Guts, Shield) [HP/2]
Code : F2AAFETG
[/spoil:edde9c2a28]
marked it as a spoiler just in case... oh, and you'll want to install the Bugstop program, too
*the one's I've marked with a <- should be somewhat useful
marked it as a spoiler just in case
anyway, ya, use that, break out the advances, as was stated before, etc etc, oh, and Grass stage combo'd with Magnum chips works wonders on 200 auras, |

I already have saitobatc. I would use it, if it wasn't for the "take away half HP bug", and that grass stage tip is great, I remember doing similar but with a wood style and a undersht at some boss that I cant remember.
And reflect would be great, if I had one _________________

If you have BugStop, then the Hubbatch bug is easily circumvented.
Nonetheless, I suggest sticking whith what has been said. You may sideboard in chips to collapse the aura, if necessary. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Another good tip that I haven't seen yet that always seems to help, is Geddon3 + Snctuary. This may not be too fun in an F-coded folder, but it is nice once you get both chips, because you have HolyPnls and he is constantly on poison. I always recommend it.
Also, once your sanctuary's up, if you ever decide to use DarkAura (which I don't recommend, since Foldrbak helps more here), it can negate up to 600 damage, more than enough to prevent even his Earthbreaker attack. |

I was thinking of that Geddon 3, but didn't tought on sanctuary, I used them separately.
I think I need to re-polish my strategies. _________________

I have a few tips,
- Areatrap him first
- Use Sanctuary and Lifeaura, that way you can prevent up to 400 dmg
- break his aura after his charged shot
- When he's areatrapped use poisonpharoah and put it so you may protect it
- also use hubbatch, busterMAX and Bugstop, P.S. Custom Style helps |

How about HubBatch, Buster Max, Bugstop and Custom 1? All of those 4 programs are shrunken by the way. If you have Custom Style, you can start with 8 Battle Chips in your hand. Otherwise, it's 7.
Anyone here have S-ranked ForteGS before? I failed in that. Omega version attacked with his cannon too much, so his aura regenerated right away. |

ooh, I almost forgot, once you do enough damage, you won't have to waste chips on the aura, I don't think. He drops it every time he uses Earthbreaker, so once he starts doing that, just wait for him go try and Earthbreak, then hit him mid attack with anything that will Stun him/make him flinch, that'll keep the aura off for a small period of time, I think... |

That's true, but the thing with EarthBreaker is that it wrecks two panels for you, so you need at least three columns available when Bass goes and smashes the ground. In addition, there is a very small window between him being on the ground and him returning to his side and regenerating the aura.
All the more reason to use FlashMan. Time-freezing only forces you to time things once, while things like ZapRing requires the player to factor in the travel time of the ring. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! I have not heard of such a strategy. Care to describe it? _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Television City in Hollywood! It's time to 'Press Your Luck!'--Rod Roddy
