Chapter One:
My name is…!!

LAIKA

A fine morning on the Base.

My home away from home.

No rain, no snow, and no mud hidden in the tall grass.

I asked,

“Ready, Kunisaki?”

The brunette next to me answered excitedly,

“Ready, Sir!”

“Searchman.EXE, plug-in!!”

“Rave.EXE, plug-in!!”

The two Navi plunged into the net, away from the security of each of their PET.

The green-eyed Navi, with auburn hair, next to Searchman, exclaimed,

“Hey there, Searchman!”

Koromo, the girl next to me, shook with excitement.

“My first time on the net! I’m so excited, Laika-san!!”

ELSEWHERE… IN ANOTHER WORLD…

NARUTO

Another boring morning of sitting around waiting for Kakashi-

…who’s late again.

Sakura roared,

“ARRRGH!!! He’s late again!! What gives?!”

“What the crap’s YOUR problem?”

Sasuke’s deep voice rang.

He thinks he’s so cool, but he’s not!

I mean, we had a hell of a time getting him back from Orochimaru, so he should at least say he’s sorry! I mean, think of all the crap he’s put us through!!

He looked me in the eyes.

“What’s on your mind, Dobe-kun?”

He asked, pretending to sound concerned.

I growled,

“SASUKE…!!”

He asked,

“Something wrong with my name?”

“Hey, what did I tell you guys about fighting?”

Kakashi’s stern, yet friendly voice reminded.

I exclaimed,

“Kakashi-sensei!”

Sakura roared,

“YOU’RE LATE!!”

Kakashi smiled and said,

“Woah, Sakura! Calm down!”

Sasuke sighed and said,

“I’m stuck with a bunch of losers…”

NETTO

An awesome morning it was.

Not a cloud in the beautiful, ultramarine sky.

I picked up the good sized blue PET next to my bed and exclaimed,

“G’morning, Rockman!!”

Rockman, the scrawny azure Navi also known as Saito, yawned and greeted,

“Hello to you too, Netto-kun.”

ROCKMAN

Netto thumped down the stairs to be greeted by Fuyuki, our older brother.

Fuyuki asked,

“What’s up, Rockman, Netto-kun?”

Netto answered,

“I’m fine. How ‘bout you, Fuyuki-chan?”

Fuyuki smiled and replied,

“Great. Now get to the kitchen, Mom’s making waffles!”

Netto zoomed down the rest of the stairs and into the kitchen, where he plopped himself down in a chair and exclaimed,

“I’ll have 5 waffles, please!!”

SAKURA

I asked,

“So what’re we doing today, Kakashi-sensei?”

Naruto exclaimed,

“Yeah! I want a mission!”

Sasuke(the cutest guy ever,) just grunted,

“Hmmph.”

He’s so cool!

Kakashi said,

“Okay! We’re going on an important mission today…”

NETTO

“…and this mission is SO important…”

Manabe said.

***

NARUTO

“…that if you screw up…”

Kakashi continued.

***

NETTO

“…it could cost you your life!”

Manabe explained.

I asked,

“So why’s Enzan and Laika going again?”

Enzan growled,

“Because, Netto, if you screw over, at least one of us will come back alive. to report what happened.”

I growled,

“Enzan…”

***

KAKASHI

I pulled out a small crystal, and explained,

“This crystal is a prototype of what we’re trying to make, and we’re to test this prototype out. Does anyone know what it does?”

Sasuke asked,

“Kill people?”

Naruto yelled,

“WHAT A LOSER!! YOU ARE SOOO WRONG!!!”

Sasuke just laughed and brushed off the comment like it was nothing.

Sakura guessed,

“Warps matter through time and space?”

Naruto exclaimed,

“Good guess Sakura, but you’re probably-”

I stopped Naruto and said,

“Correct. From here on in, you can pretty much take a guess as to what we’re doing.”

Sasuke asked,

“Traveling to a different dimension?”

Boy, these kids are smart!

I held the crystal tight, and instructed,

“Grab the hand that has the crystal in it, and hold on tight. If you get lost, God knows where you’ll end up.”

Naruto grabbed my hand and exclaimed,

“Ready!”

Sakura exclaimed,

“Ready, Sensei!!”

And grabbed my whole arm.

Sasuke just laced his hand on mine and said,

“Hmmph.”

And smiled.

I counted,

“3... 2... 1...”

A blue glow began to emit from the crystal, and soon, we were completely enveloped by light.

I yelled over the loud rushing wind that had started blowing,

“Hang on tight! We’re going in!!”

LAIKA

“Confirm bodies, soldier!!”

Koromo exclaimed, and then explained,

“I’ve always wanted to say that!”

Rave grabbed a scrawny looking, humanoid Navi with black hair.

He was wearing a blue t-shirt and white shorts, and a peculiar headband with a leaf symbol on it.

The other humanoid Navi had silver hair, and wore a green vest. He also had a headband with a leaf symbol on it.

I asked,

“Is this yours?”

The shy-looking, rose-haired girl looked at the silver haired Navi and exclaimed,

“Kakashi-sensei!!”

Kakashi asked,

“Yo. What am I doing in here?”

Sakura turned to Netto.

Netto explained, looking off in the distance, seeming not to care,

“Seems like your friend there’s gone and got himself stuck inside of a PET.”

I asked,

“You guys DID say you were from a different world, right?”

SEARCHMAN

Kakashi nodded.

The scrawny, black-haired boy was in a deep sleep inside of a black PET. He seemed to be having a nightmare, or a horrible flashback.

He was muttering over and over,

“Why, Itachi-chan? Why? Why did you…”

He muttered random gibberish and turned over, saying,

“Mother, Father…”

Rave cradled the boy’s head on her lap and said,

“Ya know, Searchman, I’m starting to get attached to this human boy!”

Sakura, the pink-haired girl, growled,

“Stay away from MY Sasuke…!!”

Rave stroked the boy’s head and whispered,

“Sasuke-kun.”

An angel seemed to be saying it.

In seconds, Sakura, as she called herself, had made a new enemy, it seemed.

Abruptly, two bright, black eyes had flipped open were looking into Rave’s.

Rave and Koromo exclaimed,

“Aw… Kawaii-kun!!”

Sasuke, was the boy’s name, right?

I explained,

“Welcome to the year 200X, Sasuke-kun.”

The boy was obviously around 12 to 13, close to us, but 2 years apart, judging by how small and fragile-looking he was.

He asked,

“200X? When the hell’s THAT?”

MEIRU

Roll asked,

“So you’re a healer too?”

The girl sitting on the sofa next to me answered,

“Uchiha Tomake, at your sevice! Medical Ninja of the year 2004, from Konahagakure, village hidden in leaves!!”

I exclaimed,

“Wow, a Ninja!”

I commanded,

“Roll, please go get Netto and the others.”

Roll exclaimed,

“Right away, Meiru-chan!!”

And in seconds, Roll was gone.

Tomake looked at Roll’s PET intently, and exclaimed,

“Your technology is amazing! Is this really what the future’s like?”

I answered,

“I’ll take you to the mall later so you’ll find out what the future’s ALL about!”

SEARCHMAN

Rave, still with the boy’s head on her lap, seemed happy.

I asked,

“Uh… um, Rave? You don’t… LIKE that boy, do you?”

She smiled and said,

“He’s pretty cute, but you’re cuter!”

I sighed a sigh of relief.

***

RAVE

I looked up at the blonde, spiky-haired boy, staring down into the PET.

I waved and said,

“Rave.EXE! Pleased to meet you!!”

The boy introduced,

“Uzumaki Naruto, greatest Ninja ever! As a matter of fact, I’ll be Hokage someday!”

Sasuke grunted, stood up, looked up at Naruto and said calmly,

“Give it a rest, Dobe-kun. You know that’s never gonna happen.”

ROCKMAN

I was surprised to see Roll materialize in front of my eyes.

I exclaimed,

“Roll-chan!”

Roll looked at Sasuke and said,

“Um, hey. You’re sister is staying with Meiru-chan and me.”

Sasuke looked at Roll wide-eyed and suddenly cried,

“TOMA-DONOOOOO!!!”

And grabbed on to her arm.

ROLL

I sighed, and with the young boy still clinging onto my arm, warped back to the safety of my own PET, with the other Navi following.

This was going to be ONE long day.

Or however long these strange visitors were staying…

great little chapter chibi, it's very unique, I was gonna do a Naruto crossover but the first chapter sucked so I'll just wait for yours.
