Sorry for linking to another site, but the fic is too long for one post, and this makes it easier to find stuff. The first 2 chapters are in this post, however. For the sake of the beginning making sense, check out these fillers:

Just a bit of background info about the beginning; it takes place between MMBN 5 and MMBN 6. It's a spin-off of a few filler comics I did, which really were just using Rockman.EXE to make fun of Counter-Strike. Basically, Higure installs a Counter-Strike program at his shop, Netto and Enzan play(with Rockman and Blues doing the actual combat). All but Enzan become "infected" with the "CS virus"(:p). Enzan looks for someone to help, finds Kiruka, blah blah blah, Counter-Strike is removed from the shop, the rest is continued in the story.

However, the main focus of the fic itself is around Rockman X, who is basically trying to introduce a type of Net communism and intice people against the Officials. Kiruka ends up moving in with Netto, going to his school, and joining Netto's "group". Forte Cross is also introduced in it, but I won't give too many spoilers. Comment, ask questions, whatever. Chapter 1: Netto's New Roommate

The Counter-Strike incident went on for a few minutes, with Harpuia using his speed to keep Rockman and Blues occupied while Higure sent Numberman into the machine to turn the program off. Afterwards, Enzan had some business to attend to...

Enzan paced around after plugging out Blues, and then eyed Higure. "Hmmm...creating that kind of program could be considered terrorism. However, I'm willing to forgive you if you destroy the program."
Higure had a shock of either surprise or relief on his face. "That's all I have to do, huh?"
Enzan nodded, and then looked at Netto. "And you, Hikari...you made yourself look pretty stupid. And if not for you pissing me off, none of this would have ever happened. However, I'll forgive you too, on ONE CONDITION..."
"What's that?" Netto asked.
"That you let Kiruka live with you and your family. His Netbattle skills are better than average...almost at my level. After all, he was able to keep both Rockman and Blues on their toes without much trouble," Enzan replied.
"...HIS?!" Netto exclaimed. "You mean HER, right? She's way hotter than Yaito..."
"That's not saying much," Enzan commented. "But Kiruka IS a guy. He said so himself. But even so, he could still prove to be helpful. I'd take him under my wing, but I'm far too busy to have to put up with someone else all the time. That's why YOU'RE going to keep him at your place. He has no home of his own around here."
"...But why me?" Netto whined. "You can't do this to me! I don't even KNOW Kiruka!"
"I'm an Official. I can do whatever I damn well please, dorkboy. And that includes sending in agents to have all of your clothes switched with Meiru's. Not to mention I can kick your ass in a fist fight," Enzan chuckled. "Take the easy way out. You have a knack for befriending random people."
"But I don't have a guest room!" Netto explained. "Where will he sleep?"
"Not my problem. Kiruka, if Netto decides to do something...rude...like kick you out of his house, deny you food or bathroom access, or make fun of you, let me know. I'll dispose of him," Enzan informed before leaving the Higure-ya, marching like some kind of super villain.
Kiruka looked confused. "Uh...that was random...Enzan doesn't screw around, I guess." He then turned to Netto. "Don't worry about it...I'm nothing like him. I don't eat much, and I can sleep on the floor if I have to....you're not mad at me, are you?"
Netto looked back at Kiruka. "It's nothing against you...skunkhead just pisses me off with his 'I'm better than you' attitude...but you seem pretty nice, having helped out with the Counter-Strike thing. And I know Mom and Dad won't mind you being over at my house. Just...you know...stay out of my bed."
Kiruka turned bright red. "I wasn't GONNA get in your bed! I just met you!"
Netto laughed. "Good, just checking. Hey, I should introduce you to my friends. I think they're hanging out at the park right now...wanna come?"
"Sure," Kiruka replied. "I'd be good for me to know some people around here."
"See you guys later, huh!" Higure said as he waved.

Netto then led Kiruka to the Akihara Town park, which wasn't too far from the Higure-ya. Dekao, Meiru, and Yaito were there, their PETs plugged into the park squirrel statue. Netto walked up to them.
"Hey, guys! I'd like to introduce Kiruka...he's gonna be staying with me for an undisclosed period of time..." Netto then stepped aside, and Dekao looked over at Kiruka.
"God dammit! So close to having another girl to peep at as she changes for gym class...er, not that I've ever done anything like that. And ESPECIALLY not to Meiru," Dekao stammered.
"Dekao, you liar...I know your mind is always in the gutter. And not JUST around Meiru." Yaito muttered.
Meiru smiled at Kiruka. "Hi! Don't mind Dekao and Yaito...they're always like this. You should plug in your Navi into this squirrel so our Navis can get to know each other too!"
"Sounds fun," Kiruka then plugged in Harpuia. "Plug in, Harpuia, execute!"
Netto did the same for Rockman. "Plug in, Rockman, execute!"

In the Squirrel Area, Dekao's Navi, Gutsman, Meiru's Navi, Roll and Yaito's Navi, Glide, were joined by Rockman and Harpuia.
"Long time no see, guys!" Rockman greeted cheerfully.
"A few hours is long time, yep! Haw haw!" Gutsman laughed.
"Yeah, just keep that up if you want a boot up your butt. Anyway, everybody, this is Harpuia. He helped out with a crisis today that could've become a lot worse!" Rockman smiled at Harpuia, then the others.
"Pleased to meet you. Any friend of Rockman's is a friend of mine," Glide greeted.
"Wow....you look a lot like me. That's cool!" Roll commented.
"Gutsman have great idea...Gutsman, Roll, and Harpuia equals...MUCH FUN A-" Gutsman's sentence was cut off as Rockman smacked Gutsman across the face.
"Not only is the idea of a threesome with YOU involved extremely sickening, but Harpuia's a crossdressing guy Navi, just like how his operator is a crossdresser. Harpuia was just built out of some girl Navi armor and face parts," Rockman informed.
"...NOOOOO! Now what I do with my life?" Gutsman bellowed.
"...Netbattle? Not with me, of course. Netto's collection of Gutsman chips is enough to prove who's the better of us." Rockman snickered. "How about it, Harpuia? Up for a battle against Gutsman?"
"I have to face crossdresser?!" Gutsman complained.
"SCARED, are ya?" Rockman mocked.
"GUTSMAN SCARED OF NOTHING!" Gutsman shouted. "I DELETE WUSSY GIRLY BOY NAVI!" Gutsman then pounded his fists against his chest like a silverback gorilla defending his troop.
Rockman, Glide, and Roll stood aside to made room for Harpuia and Gutsman.

Back in the real world, Dekao's ego was beginning to rear its ugly head.
"BWAHAHAHA!!! Oh God, this'll be priceless! Try not to LOSE too fast, Kiruka!" Dekao laughed, tears running down his cheeks from laughing so hard.
"You're pretty sure of yourself. Wanna make a bet? If you lose, you have to take me on a shopping trip. I need some more dresses," Kiruka told.
"And why would I do that?" Dekao asked.
"If you're going to win, you wouldn't care, right?" Kiruka replied.
"And I AM gonna win! Fine, you're on! But if I win, you have to kiss Netto!" Dekao laughed.
"That sounds fair," Kiruka agreed.
"HEY!" Netto protested. "Don't drag me into this!"
Kiruka winked at Netto and whispered into his ear, "Don't worry, I've got it covered!"

Back in the Squirrel Area, the battle had just begun.
"Take this! GUTPUNCH!" Gutsman shouted, rushing at Harpuia.
Harpuia easily dodged and hovered behind Gutsman.
"Kiruka has a unique taste in chips. Geddon Two!" Harpuia yelled, holding up his arms. The panels in the area were all broken, aside from the ones all of the Navis were standing on at the time. Gutsman stood on the one panel, glaring at Harpuia as Harpuia floated effortlessly over the broken panels. Harpuia then made some cute, girly poses, just to get Gutsman all riled up. It worked, too.
"WUSS! Fight Gutsman like real man!" Gutsman bellowed.
"Why should I? Do I look like a real man to you?" Harpuia asked, his voice sounding completely female. A few seconds later, the panels reformed and Gutsman attacked again.
"Guts MG!" Gutsman roared, his left hand forming a buster and firing rapidly at Harpuia, striking him several times.
"AAAAHHH!" Harpuia cried.
"Harpuia!" Kiruka yelled over the PET. "You can have your chat after the battle! I don't want you getting all busted up by that bulldozer! Here, use this!" Kiruka then uploaded another Battlechip.
Harpuia smirked. "I'll save this for later..." he thought. He then flew straight at Gutsman.
"Gutpunch!" Gutsman shouted.
"Kougenjin!" Harpuia yelled, putting his natural skill to use and saving the Battlechip. Gutsman's fist collided with Harpuia's sabers, and after a few sparks, both Navis were sent flying back. Gutsman quickly regained balance and brought both of his fists up. Harpuia had fallen on his back.
"Gutsha-"
"SUPER VULCAN!" Harpuia cried, firing up at Gutsman and hitting him in the face with all twelve shots. Gutsman howled in pain.
"Harpuia! Now's your chance!" Kiruka exclaimed.
Harpuia quickly got up. "Kougenjin!" Harpuia yelled, slashing his sabers 3 times, which fired out 3 energy waves, all of which struck Gutsman and damaged his body as he still clung onto his Vulcaned face...

"Gutsman! Plug out!" Dekao shouted, plugging out his PET from the Squirrel statue. "GUTSMAN! Speak to me, buddy!"
"All right, Harpuia! You showed that ape what the power of cuteness does to rednecks!" Kiruka cheered.
Gutsman groaned from inside Dekao's PET. "Ug...sorry, Dekao. He was too fast for me. Not to mention he had a strong chip like Super Vulcan..."
"...How did you get that chip? Those things're expensive!" Dekao asked Kiruka.
"Not for me," Yaito laughed. "Of course, I usually set my chip standards higher than that..."
"Higure felt guilty for troubling me with the Counter-Strike thing, so he gave me one and we called it even," Kiruka explained. "So...about that shopping trip..."
"Ug...sorry to have to break it to ya, but I don't have the money...I thought for sure Gutsman would win..." Dekao moaned.
Yaito sighed. "What're we gonna do with you, Dekao...? Ah well, Kiruka, I'm sure that Meiru and I can help you out. After all, my family's rich and I'd have no problem fixing Dekao's mistake. After all, he'd be willing to pay me back by doing some yardwork, wouldn't he?"
"I don't have a choice, do I...?" Dekao whined.
"You guessed it," Yaito laughed. "And don't worry, Kiruka, the place I have in mind is perfect. They sell dresses and other female clothing especially for guys at great prices. Some of which are designed much better than the real female clothes of today...and Meiru here has a talent for fashion related stuff. She helped design the costumes for a lot of our school plays."
"Wow, Yaito...you and Meiru are like a 1 man army...er, a 2 girl cult...uh...something?" Netto stammered.
"Netto, you need to work on your English," Rockman commented, still inside the Squirrel Area with Harpuia, Roll, and Glide.
"Rockman, you need to work on your smartassery. Getting rid of it, that is," Netto shot back.
"Alright, that's enough. Meiru, why don't we all plug out so you and Yaito can take Kiruka on his shopping trip? Maybe we can get Netto and Dekao to be the critics," Roll suggested.
"Fashion critics? I'm no good at criticing fashion!" Dekao informed.
"CRITIQUING!" Yaito growled. "And you're no good at it because the only thing you look for in a girl is how LITTLE clothing they have on, especially when it's cold out!"
"I am who I am," Dekao replied.
"Sounds like a plan, Roll!" Meiru agreed, plugging out Roll. The others then plugged out their Navis.
"The store I'm thinking of is actually very close to SciLab. We can take the metroline to there and walk the rest of the way," Yaito informed.
"I seem to do a lot of walking..." Netto commented.
"Which is why you're healthy," Yaito complimented. "Unlike Dekao, who sits on his derriere all day long and eats Cheesey Poofs as he looks at dirty magazines. The only time he'd get up is to frisk the girls, including Kiruka, before he found out Kiruka was a guy!"
"LIAR!" Dekao yelled, turning bright red.
"Admit it, pal. Even I wanted to smack Kiruka's booty before I found out he was a guy," Netto admitted. Everyone stared at him, including Kiruka. Kiruka stared at the ground, his hands covering his cheeks.
"...Riiiight..." Meiru replied. "Let's get going...there's still lots for us to show Kiruka." The four friends, along with their newly aquired fifth friend, headed down the street toward the metroline entrance.

Chapter 2: The Electown Gangstas and Bishonen Boutique

A few minutes later, everyone got off of the metroline in front of SciLab.
"Do you think we have time to visit my dad? I haven't seen him lately..." Netto asked.
"I don't see why not; we have plenty of time," Yaito replied.
"Netto, your dad works here?" Kiruka asked.
"Yep. He's one of the big cheeses," Netto replied.
"Did someone say cheese?" Dekao asked. "We should get some Cheesey Poofs from one of the vending machines...
"You don't need Cheesey Poofs. You're fat enough as it is," Yaito mocked.
"Not as fat as your head!" Dekao laughed. Yaito then pinched Dekao on the upper arm, hard.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Yaito screamed.
"GAAAAHH!!" Dekao yelled in pain. The sudden screaming shocked Netto, causing him to fall over backwards and hit his head on a sign post.
"OW!" Netto whined. He then got back up, slowly. Meiru and Kiruka were watching the chaos, half scared, half amused. Meiru then started heading toward the SciLab entrance, followed by Kiruka.
"C'mon, guys. Get with it or Kiruka and I will just leave without you..." Meiru informed, looking back.
Yaito released her crushing fingers of the killer pinch. "Alright, I'm coming." Yaito then ran to catch up to Kiruka and Meiru, followed by Dekao and then Netto, who was still rubbing his head in pain.

Inside the SciLab home page, two Officials, Blues and Colonel, were having a meeting. Enzan was in the Mission Control room while Baryl was at Jomon Electric in Electown, looking into an important matter. Blues paced a little as he listened to Colonel's info.
"There's been a problem in the Town Area, mainly around Town Area 2. Battlechip theft, assaulting Officials, kidnapping female Navis," Colonel explained. "There's a small but growing group of criminals who call themselves the 'Electown Gangstas'".
"Are they a threat, aside from their bad taste in names?" Blues asked.
"Possibly. Most of the members are just lowly Heel Navis looking for their cut. However, there's one in particular who's dangerous. His name is Fefnir."
"Fefnir? Never heard of him. Describe him to me," Blues requested.
"He's got pink reddish armor, he's tall, and he has a VERY large arm cannon. Fire based Navi. Remember Napalmman? Fefnir is even more powerful than he was. Fefnir and I were evenly matched, until a mob of Heel Navis showed up and forced me to retreat."
"Fire based Navi...sounds a lot like Hinoken to me."
"Who?"
"Hinoken is a skilled fire Navi operator...I can name 3 fire based Navis that he's operated at one time or another. Apparently, he's gone legit, but he's lied about that before. I'll ask Enzan to e-mail Hinoken and see if we can get any info."
"Alright...in the meantime, Baryl and I will try to find some info on possible operators of the Heel Navis. That might answer some questions."
Colonel then plugged out, and Blues stood alone, thinking to himself. "More powerful than Napalmman...I've seen Napalmman take out 12 Navis with a single blast. If Colonel's words are true, this Fefnir could be dangerous indeed."
Enzan picked up his PET. "Blues, did Colonel have any important info?...Wait, he's Colonel. Of course he did. What was it?"
"There's a problem with a new fire Navi in the Town Area. Fefnir. I suspect Hinoken is responsible...can you e-mail him about the matter?" Blues asked.
"I'll do that. You head to the Town Area and scout around. Plug out if it gets to be too much," Enzan replied.

At Town Area 2, the local Netdealer and a Heel Navi were just haggling over the price of a Battlechip.
"I can't go lower than 10000 zennys. This chip is hard to get, you know," the Netdealer informed.
"10000 is too much. Me and my homies get our chips by deleting viruses and arrogant Navis who think they can tell us what to do," the Heel Navi replied. "Zennys are a little harder for us to come by. You see my problem..."
"Sorry, but no. If you can't afford it, it means you aren't in a high enough class," the Netdealer told.
"Then I'll just have to TAKE IT! The Electown Gangstas don't take 'no' for an answer!" the Heel Navi growled, producing a LongSword and rushing at the Netdealer.
" Someone call the o-AAHH!" the Netdealer's sentence was cut off by the LongSword attack from the Heel Navi. The Netdealer dropped, now with one less arm. 2 more Heel Navis suddenly plugged in and came up behind the first.
"Help yourselves," the first Heel Navi said. "There's plenty of chips and zennys to go around!" The 3 Heel Navis then started to help themselves. A minute later, Blues came running toward the scene.
"What's going on?!" Blues asked. He readied his WideSword arm.
"...Dammit! The fuzz! Scram, homies!" a Heel Navi warned. The 3 then plugged out with their stolen goods and zennys.
Blues went over to the Netdealer, who had somehow avoided deletion. "Are you alright?"
The Netdealer got up. "I'm fine...but they took everything..."
"Don't worry about that. Enzan plans on having the stolen goods returned when we catch these Navis' operators. Do you know who they are?" Blues asked.
"All I know is that one said he was with the 'Electown Gangstas'." the Netdealer replied.
"Hmmm...anything in particular they were after?" Blues asked.
"The first one to show up haggled with me over a Meteors R chip. Aside from that, it was random theft," the Netdealer informed.
"Meteors R...strong fire chip. Rare, too. That's DEFINATELY a connection to what Colonel told me about...." Blues commented.

Back at SciLab, in Yuuichirou's lab, Netto brought in his friends in to see his dad. Netto, Dekao, Meiru and Yaito exchanged greetings with Yuuichirou.
"Kiruka, this is my dad, Yuuichirou. He's the big cheese here, so don't do anything bad," Netto laughed.
Kiruka curtseyed and then smiled at Yuuichirou. "Hi!"
"And Dad, this is Kiruka. He's gonna be staying at our house. Enzan forced the issue," Netto informed.
Yuuichirou eyed Kiruka, then smiled, chuckling to himself. "He...? You certainly have unique tastes, Netto. Or maybe Enzan does. Oh well, it'll be nice to have someone else around to keep you company with me working all the time...where are you from, Kiruka?"
Kiruka looked at the ground. "As far as I'm concerned, nowhere..."
"How so?" Yuuichirou asked.
"I used to live in Netopia...my parents disowned me when they found out about my "unique lifestyle". Everyone else around there was very similar in that aspect...so I stowed away on a plane and came to Electopia, then went to Akihara Town. I had heard that's it's a very accepting place with great people!" Kiruka explained, then smiled.
"What about school? How will you get an education?" Yuuichirou asked.
"I could always bring him to my school!" Netto suggested. "Right, Kiruka? You look about my age...I'm 11..."
"So am I! Grade 6?" Kiruka asked.
"Uh-huh!" Netto replied.
"That's nice of you to offer, Netto. However, since it's Saturday, you and your mother can deal with getting Kiruka into your school tomorrow. Just take a day off for once. You're always running around, fighting in tournaments, helping people, saving the world..." Yuuichirou commented. "And speaking of your mother, does she know about Kiruka?"
"Nope..." Netto replied.
"Don't worry, she'll understand. But it'd be best to run it by her if Kiruka plans on having dinner at our house," Yuuichirou told.
"I'll do that," Netto answered. "Later, dad. We're all going to get Kiruka some new clothes. Er...Meiru and Yaito are doing that, and Dekao and I are watching."
"I remember doing that when I was younger..." Yuuichirou commented. "Bye, everyone." Yuuichirou then went back to work.

Outside, the five friends walked and chatted for a while, until Yaito spotted the store she was talking about, called "Bishonen Boutique".
"Ah...this place is awesome. Full of pretty boys...and ugly older chicks who dress like lumberjacks and come for the eyecandy. I hate them," Yaito growled.
"If anyone from school sees me in here..." Dekao stammered.
"Just tell them you lost a bet," Netto suggested. They then walked inside. The store was completely stocked full of any kind of girls' clothing imaginable...but designed for a boy's body. Most of the employees were older women and younger men in their twenties with French accents.
Kiruka squealed with delight. "This place is awesome!"
Meiru's eyes darted around, checking out the various male customers, some of which looked more like girls than she did.
"It certainly is. My family has shares in this place, after all." Yaito informed. She then smiled, which was rare. "Meiru, you can do your drooling later. For now, we need to help out Kiruka with some fashion related stuff. Come on!" She then grabbed Kiruka's arm and Meiru's arm and pulled them through the various sections of the store. Netto and Dekao lost sight of them.
"Uh...where'd everyone go?" Netto asked.
"I dunno...this place gives me the creeps!" Dekao whispered. "There's one over there that looks a lot like a teenage version of one of them Powerpuff Girls..."
"Blossom, to be exact. She's the cute redhead," Netto informed.
"..." Dekao was dumbfounded. "You sure know a lot about that show. No wonder you sometimes ditch playing on the Net to go and 'help with dinner'..."
"You have no right to talk. I've seen your hentai collection," Netto mocked.
"Oh yeah, wise guy? I dare you to try on a dress!" Dekao laughed.
"I dare YOU to try on a dress!" Netto laughed back.
"OH YEAH?! Well I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU to try on a dress, then RUN OUTSIDE WITH IT STILL ON!!!" Dekao shouted.
"...The double dog dare...you must be serious. The double dog dare is what seperates the men from the boys..." Netto commented. "And if I do this, I get to double dog dare YOU to do something even WORSE!"
"Feelin' brave, Hikari?!" Dekao laughed again.

Hah, great fic! A Counter-Strike crossover is definitely a unique concept, and I believe this is the first time I've read such a fic involving a crossover with a first-person "lead-eater" P2P game like CS. A few of the moments in this fic are absolutely priceless, like the [spoil:1c785bf802]Officer's inspection of the crossdressing Navi in Chapter 14[/spoil:1c785bf802]. An interesting fic having more than a fair share of memorables (which is not a bad thing at all); I very much look forward to more of this. As for the filler...words cannot describe it. XD

Ch. 17: Alies Fall Apart and Plans Come Together

Colonel and Sukiami arrived in Netopia Area 2, only to be cut off right away. The main path was destroyed. What was visible are still remaining of Netopia Area 2 was covered in knocked out Navis, broken panels, Navis with missing limbs, ice panels, and lava panels.
"We're too late..." Sukiami whimpered.
"There may have been heavy losses, but we can still try to stop Kai and Koji before they move on to other areas!" Colonel exclaimed. "Baryl, send me an AirShoes chip quickly!"
"Done," Baryl told over the PET. Colonel then ran and jumped, then floated over where the path used to be. Sukiami followed closely.
"Omega Rocket!" Colonel heard a voice shout. Colonel then quickly jumped to the other end of the path and ducked as a huge rocket flew by him and crashed into a random cluster of panels, destroying them.
Colonel then jumped back up and looked ahead and saw Kai and Koji both standing on a small platform, fighting, completely unaware of the danger around them.
"AquaSword!" Kai shouted.
"FireSword!" Koji shouted. The two of them then clashed blades.
"Alright, Sukiami, you take Kai, I'll take Koji. Let's stop them before they hurt anyone else," Colonel told.
"Alright!" Sukiami replied. She and Colonel then jumped to their respective opponents. Colonel took a swing at Koji with his S-Divider. Koji took a hit, but didn't seem damaged much. Koji looked at Colonel and noticed Sukiami as well.
"I remember you! The bastards who trapped me before I could kill Kai!" Koji spat. He then pointed the rocket launcher at Colonel. "Hell Burner!" The rocket launcher then spewed forth a wave of fire, catching Colonel in its flames. Colonel held up his S-Divider to defend himself. Meanwhile, Kai was using both an AquaSword and his claw arm to attack Sukiami, who parried with a Fujiin Racket. Kai knocked the Fujiin Racket aside with the AquaSword and jammed the claw arm into Sukiami's gut faster than she could react.
"Gah..." Colonel gasped, starting to break down under the pressure from Koji's Hell Burner attack, the flames still going on strong. Colonel dropped down to one knee, still shielding himself with the S-Divider.
Sigma stood watching from the entrance to Netopia Area 3. "Go to work." A flash of red then dashed past Sigma and jumped from panel cluster to panel cluster. When it stopped behind Koji, it turned out to be Breakman. He grabbed Koji's rocket launcher arm and started twisting it until it was bent 180 degrees. Koji then stopped the Hell Burner attack and brought back his fist to attack Breakman. When Koji punched, Breakman caught Koji's fist with both hands and started to crush it like a tin can, until Koji couldn't even move his fingers. Koji roared in pain, then got ready to charge at Breakman. Breakman, however, didn't give him a chance. He dashed up to Koji.
"BreakShield!" Breakman yelled, swinging the shield and cleaving Koji's head off. Koji then dissolved into useless data before Colonel's eyes.
Colonel got up and stood in awe. How can such a generic looking Navi have that much brute strength? Breakman then turned his attention to Kai. Kai, however, had seen Breakman, and made the first attack, firing at him with his Vulcan. Breakman held his BreakShield up to deflect the shots. Kai then took to the air, flew back over an empty area, and aimed his jetpack missile at Breakman. Breakman took the opportunity and summoned a buster arm.
"BreakBuster!" Breakman shouted, firing at Kai's jetpack and destroying it. Kai then fell straight down.
"AAAAAAGGGGHHH!!" Kai screamed, plummeting into the abyss, slowly silencing him.
Breakman dispeled his buster. "Don't think of me as heartless. Those two were too dangerous to be left alive."
Colonel looked at him. "And you are?"
"Breakman, Commander Sigma's personal bodyguard. The commander was wanting to look around this area for trances of the recent Kyuusaisha spies, but the area was infested with dangerous vermin, according to him. So I got rid of them," Breakman told in a patronizing tone of voice.
"I'd question your principles, but I do respect your ability to get things done. So let's leave it at that," Colonel replied. "Sukiami, let's get back to the SciLab home page. We need to speed our mission up as best we can." Colonel and Sukiami then left the area as Officials went to work repairing the panels.
"You most certainly do..." Sigma told, walking up behind Breakman. He smirked slightly.

In the Sharo area, Searchman had returned for a short while to see how things were going. He met up with some familiar faces, in addition to the substitute commander that had taken over for Searchman during his absence.
"Ah, commander Searchman. I'm Vile, your "substitute". Nothing to worry about, nothing's really been happening aside from the usual petty crimes," the commander told.
"Good to hear. I hope you have lots of time available, because my foreign assignment is going to take longer than I thought," Searchman replied.
"Oh believe me, I have PLENTY of time..." Vile assured. He was built much like Searchman with purple, white and black armor, a faceless helmet, two shoulder weapons, one being a lot like Searchman's ScopeGun and the other being a Cannon of sorts. "I take every assignment seriously."
"Alright, it's in your hands. I have more work to do. Until next time," Searchman replied, plugging out.
"Next time will be quite different, I assure you," Vile chuckled.

Dynamo ran through the SciLab area, no one having seen him in such a long time. Because of this, no one knew he was a criminal. He picked up speed when he caught sight of the SciLab home page. Dynamo jumped, landed on the portal, and was teleported to the main area. Blues, Fireman, Korosu, and Haboku were all there.
"Hey, Korosu. I heard you're all talk and no action. I bet you're too scared to leave your precious allies to chase me out of the SciLab area!" Dynamo laughed.
Korosu looked, and slammed his Heel Navi arm into the large desk everyone sat at, aside from Haboku due to his large size. "I bet you're too weak to survive when I CATCH YOU!" He then jumped up and took off after Dynamo.
"Wait--!" Blues yelled, but he was too late. "This is obviously a trap."
"Are we going after him?" Fireman asked.
"No...there's only the three of us. If this is some kind of trap set by Kyuusaisha, we'd be outnumbered. I'm sure Korosu is smart enough to plug out if it gets too dangerous," Blues replied.
As Korosu chased Dynamo, he had his pistol out, firing at him. "Quit jumping around, damn you!!"
"Why should I?!" Dynamo laughed, jumping from path to path, just to further aggrivate Korosu. Dynamo didn't stop until he arrived in Oran Area 3. He then spun around. "LashBlade!"
Korosu had no time to react to Dynamo's speed and was struck in the neck by Dynamo's attack, knocking him down. Dynamo brought the blade back and struck again, this time knocking Korosu's pistol out of his hand and off the platform into the abyss. Korosu jumped back up and ran at Dynamo. "Why you--!"
"Variable Sword!" Dynamo yelled, summoning a large glowing sword on his free hand. Korosu went up to Dynamo right at that moment and used the Heel Navi arm to slug him across the face and knock him down.
"SilverFist!" Korosu yelled, summoning a SilverFist on his other arm. He then slammed it into the panel Dynamo was lying on a split second after Dynamo rolled to the side. Dynamo then jumped up, fired a SonicBoom from the Variable Sword and then struck with his LashBlade again. Korosu blocked them both with the SilverFist.
"Lava Seed!" Dynamo shouted, tossing several seeds onto the ground around them, and one in between them. Both were then trapped AND unable to get in melee range of each other. Korosu then smirked and produced a BlackBomb. "You idiot! If you throw that here, you'll blow us BOTH to Hell!"
"Yeah, so?!" Korosu laughed. He then quickly jumped up, but before he could toss it onto the center lava area, Dynamo used his LashBlade to knock it out of Korosu's hand; it landed on Korosu's half of the safe area. Korosu then landed and went to pick the BlackBomb back up.
"HeatShot!" Dynamo shouted, firing a firey blast at the BlackBomb, detonating it. Korosu was hit by the explosion and sent flying onto the lava, screaming in pain as his body heated up. Dynamo then produced his own BlackBomb and tossed it at the lava right next to Korosu, detonating it and and blasting Korosu close to the edge of the area, in pieces. The largest piece was only Korosu's head, upper body and Heel Navi arm. He was knocked out. Dynamo used a Repair chip, then walked over to Korosu. "Poor bastard. He never really stood a chance...!" Dynamo then burst out laughing, rolling around on the ground and slamming his fist into a panel repeatedly. Korosu's remaining body then stirred, and Korosu woke up. Dynamo was still distracted with his own laughter, so Korosu took the opportunity and summoned a Giga Count Bomb, even though he knew he wouldn't survive the blast. Despite the ticking, Dynamo still didn't notice Korosu's awakening.
"I won't be working for the Officials anymore," Korosu whispered to himself. The bomb then went off, the blast expanding to the point where Korosu's pieces couldn't be seen, and knocking Dynamo off the edge of the platform. Dynamo regained his wits and looked back up at where he had fallen from.
"LashBlade!" Dynamo shouted, sending the blade up and using it to grab back onto the platform. He then retracted it, pulling himself back up. He looked around at the destruction. "Hmm...so he had a bit left in him. Gotta respect stubbornness, even the stupid kind."

Sukiami recieved an e-mail from Korosu's operator, saying that Korosu had been deleted by Dynamo, and that it would take a long time to rebuild him; too long for Sukiami to be able to count on Korosu's help for the remainder of the Kyuusaisha issue.
"Shit...while we were off dealing with Kai and Koji, Korosu got deleted!" Sukiami cried. "We didn't even STOP Kai and Koji, Breakman did! So Korosu died for NOTHING!" she then dropped to her knees. Colonel knelt down beside her.
"It wasn't your fault...Korosu was deleted in the line of duty," Colonel told. "All we can do is keep going forward; keep trying to end this conflict."
"...You're right," Sukiami replied, getting up. "Let's go."

Dynamo looked around after updating Kudan on the events. "One down, one to go. Now, where did that Searchman guy run off to...?"
"Right here," Searchman told. He pointed a Mugen Vulcan at Dynamo's back and opened fire. Dynamo quickly plugged out. "Damn, I was too slow. Better get back to Blues and see what's going on next." He then took off running. Searchman arrived at the SciLab HP just as Colonel and Sukiami did.
Colonel nodded. "Searchman." Searchman said nothing and went straight to Blues.
"I assume you heard the news. That makes six of us, and Kyuusaisha still has X, Fefnir, Phantom, Shinji, and now Dynamo. Soon, the balance of power will be altered," Searchman told.
"The balance of power? Our ally died and that's all you have to say?" Sukiami cried. "How about showing some heart?"
"Just like you showed for Harpuia. I don't take orders from hypocrites," Searchman told in a harsh tone. He then turned back to Blues. "Well, what's our next move?"
"Dynamo is our next move. It's obvious that he isn't afraid to delete, so we can't show him any mercy," Blues replied.
"Leave him to ME. You know that I'M not afraid to delete," Searchman assured.
"I'll go with you. It's too dangerous for anyone to go alone," Blues argued.
"If you want," Searchman agreed.
Haboku walked over to Sukiami. "Without Korosu, I'm the only soldier left under your command here. What do you want me to do?"
"Don't get yourself deleted. Other than that, just "go with the flow" as they say," Sukiami replied.
"In other words, don't do anything stupid like you did against Shinji!" Fireman laughed.
"Why you--! I didn't see YOU fighting Shinji!" Haboku shot back.
"Why should I? I don't care what happens to anyone here! I'm in this 'til Fefnir kicks the bucket!" Fireman yelled.
"You make me sick!" Haboku spat.
"You're just a mindless minion with no ambition!" Fireman shouted.
"That's it! I'm not taking anymore crap from you!!" Haboku shouted, charging at Fireman. He punched Fireman in the gut, knocking him to the other end of the room. Blues tried to come in between them, but Haboku shoved Blues to the side, slamming him into the table. Fireman jumped up and aimed his Fire Arms.
"You're gonna regret this...!" Fireman growled. He then fired, catching Haboku in two jets of flame. Several Official Navis then came into the area and used several Thunders along with a Sandring on Haboku, trapping him. Blues had alerted them.
"Haboku, you're being deported. You are not to set foot in Electopia netspace again," Blues told. "That wasn't a Netbattle, that was a burst of rage in a home page meant for INTELLIGENT disscussion."
"But he--!" Haboku started.
"I don't care. You attacked first, and attacked ME when I tried to stop the fight. Mature Navis have the self control to either respond in a non-violent way, or to simply not say anything and get on with their jobs. It's Officials like you that lead to the start of Kyuusaisha," Blues told. "Now, plug out." Haboku plugged out without a word of goodbye to Sukiami.
"Wasn't that a little harsh?" Sukiami asked.
"We have enough trouble with Kyuusaisha without fighting amongst ourselves. All of you are here to fight Kyuusaisha, which is why I treat you as professionals. However, if you act like animals, I'll treat you as such," Blues informed. "Searchman, you and I are going to find Dynamo. He deleted Korosu and needs to be brought to justice. Colonel and Sukiami, you remain here. Fireman, you aren't an Official, but if you don't remain here as well, you'll lose your rights to be in this area and use its resources."
"Alright," Fireman agreed. "I could use a short break."
Blues and Searchman then left. Colonel looked slightly meloncholy. "And then there were five..."

Later that night, Rockman and Harpuia met up with their friends in the Cyber Square, and also met Zero. Harpuia and Zero became friends quite quickly, having much in common. Harpuia was especially entertained by the stories Zero told of all the times he had pissed the Officials off and gotten away with it.
"Heard the latest news?" Roll asked. "One of those Kyuusaisha guys deleted an Official from Netopia today. There was debris and lava all over Oran Area 3. Must've been one destructive battle..."
"You know how da Officals and Kyuusaisha are. Always at each other's throats," Gutsman pointed out.
"Kinda like Netto and Enzan!" Rockman laughed.
"Hey, if I could strangle that stuck-up kid, I would!" Netto yelled over the PET.
"Yeeeaah, sure," Rockman agreed, sweatdropping.
"I wonder who's going to win this war..." Glide commented.
"Is it really a "war"?" Harpuia asked.
"In a way. Not quite as large-scale, but there ARE some powerful Navis involved, and depending on the result, the way the Net is run could be changed forever," Glide replied.
"So, I guess that means we should start caring a little more..." Harpuia commented. Everyone then pondered for a moment.
"I'M TOO YOUNG FOR POLITICS!" Netto shouted over the PET. He then fell out of his chair.

Breakman stood in Sigma's area, updating him on the news.
"Korosu has been deleted, and Haboku deported. Haboku's waiting outside this area for orders," Breakman told.
"Haboku, deported? Then I have no further use for him. Delete him. Delete him NOW," Sigma told, grinning.
Breakman bowed quickly and left the area. He stepped on the portal and teleported right in front of Haboku. Breakman gave the guards a quick hand gesture and they backed off.
"So, what're my new orders?" Haboku asked.
"To die," Breakman told. He then brought his shield arm back and shoved it through Haboku's gut. Haboku gagged and then dropped to his knees. Breakman then pointed his buster at Haboku's head, charging up. Seconds later, he let the blast go, and when the smoke cleared, Haboku was headless. He dissolved into useless data. Breakman then went back to Sigma. "Done. What will we do with only Sukiami and Colonel under our command in Electopia now?"
"Let them be. We'll let Kyuusaisha and the Electopians make their next moves. By the time they realize what I have planned, they'll be too exhausted to do anything about it," Sigma informed. He then chuckled slightly, then burst into complete laughter. Breakman remained silent. "Dance, puppets, DANCE! WAH-HA-HAHAHA!"

Ch. 18: Zero's New Allies

At the Cyber Square, everyone said goodbye to Zero and plugged out for the night. Zero then began to explore the rest of the Electopian Net, eventually arriving in Undernet 7 after a while. There were a few groups of Heel Navis and other standard Navis, along with X and Shinji, who were both asleep near the middle of the area, although facing away from each other with about six meters in between them, most likely having been guarding both sides of the area before then.
Zero noticed them. "The post on that BBS mentioned a Navi like that taller one...is this Kyuusaisha's base or something?"
A Heel Navi came over to Zero. "You got it. Don't disturb those two right now, though. They're the only ones who fight without operators, so they get tired after a while."
"Okay, I won't," Zero replied. "So Kyuusaisha only consists of the Navis here?"
"There's more lesser Navis like me all over the Net here," the Heel Navi replied. "However, Phantom, Fefnir, and Leviathan have all gone to sleep for the night along with their operators. Dynamo's supposed to come back soon, though. He just finished dealing with Korosu, one of the more hard-assed Officials."
"That's good to hear. I ran into Korosu once, a while back...I still find it scary that he ripped off another Navi's arm and attached it to his own body when he lost an arm..." Zero shuddered.
X then started to stir, then got up and walked over to Shinji. Zero went to say hi, but decided to wait instead. X tapped Shinji on the shoulder. Shinji then summoned a FighterSword arm, grabbed X by the throat, and held the blade to his gut.
"...Oh, it's you. Sorry about that..." Shinji murmured, dispeling the sword and getting up.
X then noticed Zero and walked over to him, then bowed. "Greetings. Don't mind my friend, he's still a bit high-strung." He then stood back up and looked Zero in the eyes. "So, who are you, and why are you here?"
"I'm Zero...no one, really. Just a Navi wanting to get away from Netopia..." Zero replied.
"Ah. Well, feel free to stay as long as you please and get to know everyone," X told, smiling. "I'll be happy to show you around, tomorrow. Tonight, I have to remain here since most of my generals aren't."
Shinji walked over to Zero. "That goes for me too, actually. I'm Shinji. You probably don't know me, I was in solitary confinement for five years."
"For what?" Zero asked.
"Well, I'd always see Navis who picked on crossdressers...so I kinda deleted them. Apparently, that's "illegal". But I couldn't help it. The closest person to me when I was alive was a crossdresser," Shinji replied.
"Alive? You were once human?" Zero asked.
"Yes. Long ago, about ten years," Shinji answered.
"Wow...you stood up for crossdressers, huh? Well, I'm one of those..." Zero told, smiling. Shinji then knelt and bowed his head.
"Then I'm sorry for not using my manners..." Shinji replied humbly.
"No biggie! Really, I don't want any special treatment. Just equal treatment," Zero commented, blushing a little.
"That's what Kyuusaisha is all about. Navis of all kinds join, and all treat each other fairly," X informed. "As much as I didn't want to have to fight Officials, there was no other way to keep them from trying to enforce their law. So many Undernet dwellers would've been taken prisoner if not for Kyuusaisha, by now."
"How does that work? What if they really ARE criminals?" Zero asked.
"That's the thing. Without actually witnessing the crime, or their being security records, there IS no way to tell. And I go by the "innocent until proven guilty" philosophy," X explained.
"...Is there room in Kyuusaisha for someone like me?" Zero asked.
"There's room in Kyuusaisha for any kind Navi," X replied.
"Awesome!" Zero exclaimed, grinning. X smiled. Shinji would've smiled as well, if he was able to.
"Where the hell is Dynamo?" Shinji asked. "He should've been back by now."
"I don't know...do you want to go look for him?" X asked.
"Sure," Shinji replied.
"Zero, if you want to go with him, you can. It'll be a good way to learn how the Electopian Net is set up. Plus, you'll meet Dynamo all the sooner. And if something HAS happened to him, this'll be a good way to test your Netbattle skills," X informed.
"Sure, I'll go!" Zero agreed. Shinji had already run ahead. "Hey, wait up!" Zero ran off to catch up with him. X then went back to his spot and sat down, wanting to keep his strength up as much as he could.

In Oran Area 2, Searchman and Blues had caught up to Dynamo, who had wasted time by randomly wandering around, picking up random data dropped by Navis and viruses.
"You deleted our ally," Blues told.
"Oh yah, him. But hey, he had an anger problem. He got himself into it," Dynamo replied, grinning.
"He may have been at fault for the fight, but the fact remains that you deleted him with you could've simply knocked him out and left," Blues informed.
"Oh, just like you did to that Bubbleman guy?" Dynamo laughed.
"Bubbleman had the lives of so many humans in his hands!!" Blues spat. Searchman then grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Calm down. He just WANTS to get you all riled up," Searchman advised.
"You're no fun..." Dynamo sighed. He then summoned his LashBlade arm. "So let's get straight to it, then."
Blues summoned his WideSword arm, while Searchman already had his ScopeGun ready.
"LashBlade!" Dynamo shouted, swinging the LashBlade at both Blues and Searchman. Both jumped out of the way.
"ScopeGun!" Searchman shouted, firing at Dynamo and hitting him before he could retract the blade to block.
"Fumikomizan!" Blues shouted, appearing beside Dynamo and hitting him with a WideSword. Dynamo dropped to his knees.
"Guess that last fight wore me out more than I thought..." Dynamo sighed. Blues went to finish him when Shinji and Zero showed up. Shinji jumped up and landed where Blues was right after Blues spotted him and rolled to the side.
"Dynamo, get outta here," Shinji told. "Unless you wanna be Official bait."
"Don't think I owe you one just 'cuz of this!" Dynamo laughed as he plugged out.
"Shinji, I didn't come to fight you. Dynamo is wanted for the deletion of Korosu, nothing more," Blues explained.
"Save it. You wouldn't be trying to negociate with me if you thought you could delete me," Shinji told. He then summoned two FighterSwords. "Zero, if you want to brush up on your skills, now is the time."
"Z-Saber!" Zero yelled, summoning his Z-Saber arm.
"SeekBomb!" Searchman yelled, throwing a grenade at Zero, who jumped out of the way. He then summoned a Vulcan arm and fired. Zero put up his Shield Boomerang.
"Shield Boomerang!" Zero yelled, throwing it at Searchman after blocking the Vulcan. Searchman rolled to the side, but was hit as the Shield Boomerang returned to Zero. Searchman rubbed the back of his neck. He then produced another bomb.
"BigBomb!" Searchman shouted, hurling it at Zero. Zero dodged again, but was caught in the huge blast the bomb produced, and was knocked down on his face. Searchman then put his foot on the back of Zero's neck and aimed the ScopeGun at him. In the meantime, Shinji had kept Blues on the defensive. He then parried one of Blues' strikes, then summoned his extra arms, using one to grab Blues' weapon arm by the wrist and crush it until the WideSword was dispeled.
"You won't be needing THAT," Shinji spat. He then used his other arm to grab Blues by the throat. After that, he turned and looked at Searchman, who had the barrel of his ScopeGun against the back of Zero's head. Zero couldn't move due to the force of Searchman's foot and the fact that any movement would convince Searchman to fire. Searchman looked back at Shinji.
"...Interesting," Searchman commented.
"Hmm, so it's one of those standoffs..." Shinji replied. Zero and Blues then both used an Area Steal and teleported in front of their respective opponents. Blues summoned a Variable Sword. Searchman and Shinji then snapped back to attention.
"Sonicboom!" Blues shouted, swinging the sword and sending a sonicboom at Shinji. Shinji parried it until it dissolved. Zero then swung his Z-Saber three times with varying range, and then swung a fourth time, sending a sonicboom at Searchman.
"Invis!" Searchman yelled, vanishing. He then quickly laid two Stealth Mines in the area around Zero. Searchman then reappeared behind Zero with a huge cannon on his arm. "Tank Cannon!"
Zero spun around and caught the full force of the blast, sending him flying. Shinji used his two free arms to catch Zero while parrying Blues' strikes with the others.
"Stop dropping your guard, girlie!" Shinji told. He then pushed with more force, making Blues stagger back. "Zero Bomb!" Shinji then tossed Zero as hard as he could at Searchman. Zero landed on top of Searchman, pinning him.
"Hmph, impressive," Blues told. "Don't you have ANY flaws?"
"I have lots of flaws. Just not so many in battle," Shinji replied.
Searchman then pushed with his arms, doing a handspring and forcing Zero off of him. "You're not heavy enough to keep me pinned."
"Thanks for noticing," Zero replied with a wink.
Blues then jumped back beside Searchman, and Shinji jumped beside Zero. All of them stepped back took a breather.
"Why are we fighting, anyway?" Blues asked.
"Because you were going to delete Dynamo," Shinji replied.
"And he deleted Korosu, who deleted someone else before this, probably. This isn't getting anyone anywhere," Blues told.
"And? What choice do we have?" Searchman asked.
"As much as Kyuusaisha is my enemy right now, I can understand where they're coming from. And as such, I've been a bit more strict with the Electopian Officials about not mistreating anyone out of assumption, and to not delete. I even had one of the Netopian Officials deported for his hateful behavior," Blues told. "Navis deleting Navis because they deleted Navis because THEY deleted Navis...the system doesn't work."
"I know you're in charge here," Searchman informed. "But different countries do things differently. In Sharo, we don't have AS many laws as in Netopia, but we're a lot harder on criminals. We aren't afraid to delete, because they aren't either. You have to treat criminals with the SAME amount of force THEY use. Otherwise the balance of power is shifted. It's two forces of equal strength pushing against one another that keeps things in control."
"Officials and criminals...and now, Officials and Kyuusaisha. But with the Officials and Kyuusaisha, it's not equal in a lot of ways, so it's actually harming the Net," Blues replied.
"Maybe. But my life has only gotten better because of Kyuusaisha," Shinji told.
"Kyuusaisha is what convinced me to come to the Electopian Net," Zero added.
"So enemies we'll stay, then. That suits me just fine. Maybe we could've all gotten along if we met under different circumstances," Blues told, readying his Variable Sword.
"Maybe after both sides are sick of fighting, we will," Shinji agreed, summoning two more FighterSwords. "But I still have PLENTY of fight left in me, and quite honestly, it's easier to fight than it is to talk. Fighting and not saying a word for five years straight does that to you."
Both sides then struck simultaneously. The fight went on for several minutes, and ended with both sides exhausted.
"Searchman, we're leaving. There's nothing more we can do for now," Blues told. He and Searchman then plugged out.
Zero wobbled a bit as Shinji sat down. He then sat down back to back with Shinji and leaned back against him. "So, the Officials here have a bit more kick to them, I see..."
"Yeah, just a little. No one respects a weakling, after all. Not even other weaklings," Shinji replied.
"Let's go back and see X after we rest for a few minutes. Tell him what happened," Zero suggested.
"Sure..." Shinji replied. He then lowered his head and started to doze off.

The next day was Saturday, so Netto and company had the day off school. Netto rolled out of bed onto the floor as Rockman's alarm function went off.
"Hey! That's not cool, Rockman!" Netto yelled.
"Netto, it's 11:00. Kiruka was up at 9:00," Rockman told. "It's a day off school! You shouldn't waste it!"
"Well, now that I'm up, I guess you're right..." Netto moaned. He then got dressed, grabbed Rockman's PET and walked down the hall, tripping and falling down the stairs. He quickly got up and sweatdropped. "I'm alright!"
"Hi, Netto! You'll have to live without me for today and some of tomorrow. Meiru, Yaito, Jasmine and I are having a "girls' night out" and then sleeping over at Yaito's place," Kiruka told.
"Jasmine, Medi's operator? I thought she had returned to her home country..." Netto commented.
"She did, but then she missed Electopia and came back. Harpuia ran into Medi on the Net earlier today, overhearing her mention Rockman to someone. They then chatted and Jasmine and I exchanged e-mails," Kiruka replied. "She wants to see you too, Netto, don't worry. Just not until tomorrow."
"I feel so loved..." Netto slurred.
"Well, I'm all packed. I'm going to go drop my stuff off at Yaito's, then we're going to End City for a lot of the day," Kiruka informed. "See ya!" Kiruka then bolted out the door. Haruka brought some french toast for Netto.
"Hungry?" Haruka asked.
"When am I NOT hungry?" Netto asked. "But that sucks, Kiruka's gonna go hang out with some friends and I don't have ANY plans."
"Hey, why don't you call Dekao? And Takeshi as well? You could have a "guys' night out"," Rockman suggested.
"Yeah right! If I call Dekao and Takeshi, we're gonna order a pizza and hang out at Higure's all day long!" Netto exclaimed. "Hey, what an awesome idea! I'll call them right now! And by right now, I mean after I'm done chowing down breakfast!" Netto then proceeded to eat like an animal. At one point, Netto choked on a crust and slammed his fist into his chest. He then gulped.
"Geez, try CHEWING your food," Rockman suggested.
"No time!" Netto then grabbed the phone and called Dekao, then Takeshi, and agreed to meet at Higure's at noon. Netto passed the time by tweaking his battle chips and having a before lunch snack.
"Have fun," Haruka told as she waved goodbye to Netto. Netto rollerbladed down the street to Higure's chip shop. Dekao arrived sooner than Takeshi, since Takeshi had to catch the metro from End City to get to Akihara. Takeshi, when he arrived, snuck up behind Netto and Dekao.
"Did someone drop 500 zennys?" Takeshi joked.
"WHERE?!" Netto and Dekao asked in unison, looking around, slamming their foreheads into each other and falling over.
"Suckers..." Takeshi chuckled.
"Dammit!" Dekao cursed. "500 zennys could've gotten me my chocolate fix for the day!"
"You PAY for your food? I saw you shoplifting before!" Netto pointed out.
"No, I shoplifted a Playboy magazine. The chocolate I pay for, since it's cheaper," Dekao informed. Netto and Takeshi sweatdropped and coughed to break the tension. The three then went into Higure's chip shop. Both Higure and Nanako were working that day.
"Welcome, huh!" Higure greeted.
"Hope you don't mind, but we're gonna be having a pizza delivered here. And again for dinner," Netto told.
"No problem, huh," Higure replied. "But YOU pay for it, huh!!"
"How are we gonna pay for that?" Dekao asked.
"Mom gave me money! After all, she gave Kiruka some as well, so it was only fair," Netto answered.
"Chances are he'll spend all of his on girls' clothes. That kid never eats," Dekao pointed out.
"I don't eat much either, but that's because I can't afford to," Takeshi told. "Whereas Kiruka's just afraid to be fat. I mean, c'mon, he's already a crossdresser, but I'd rather date a crossdresser than a FAT chick."
"...Why?" Dekao asked.
"Fat chicks eat no fewer than five banana splits on a date, whereas crossdressers are actually very unselfish. I need a girl who doesn't cost much," Takeshi explained.
"But crossdressers have...guy...parts..." Dekao stammered.
"You don't HAVE to have sex to be in a relationship. Of course, your peanut brain probably couldn't understand that," Takeshi told.
"Damn right I don't!!" Dekao yelled.
"Sex? What do seconds have to do with it, huh?" Higure asked. Everyone, including Nanako, fell over.
"No, sex is something different," Dekao told. "It's the reason you hired Nanako."
"So sex is another word for selling Battlechips, huh?" Higure asked. "Then I should call this place Higure's Sex Shop, huh!"
Dekao burst out laughing and rolled around on the floor, crying due to the ferocity of the laughter. Netto joined him. When it died down, Takeshi went to Higure. "Sex is when..." the rest couldn't be heard, since he was whispering.
Higure went pale. "WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE WANNA DO THAT, HUH?! THEY SHOULD COLLECT RARE CHIPS INSTEAD, HUH!!"
Nanako sighed. "This is why I have a REAL boyfriend, and I don't work HERE all the time."

Kiruka arrived at Yaito's house and dropped off his backpack after Yaito let him in. Everyone else was already there. Kiruka held up his PET.
"Look, I brought Zero as well!" Kiruka exclaimed. Both Harpuia and Zero were displayed on the PET screen.
"I figured I may as well hang out with some actual nice girls for a change," Zero told.
"Great, the more, the merrier! But no Netto, and especially no Dekao. Netto's dumb and Dekao's a pig," Yaito told.
"Aren't they our friends?" Meiru asked.
"Hey, that goes for ALL guys. We love Netto and Dekao, but in a patronizing way. We love them like we love the village idiot, right?" Yaito asked. They all giggled, including Kiruka.
"What about Takeshi?" Meiru asked. Kiruka blushed.
"Kiruka has the hots for him. He's actually the LEAST pig headed guy I've ever met," Yaito replied.
"Who?" Jasmine asked.
"New kid at school," Meiru replied. "Wears all black, has long, black hair...kicks ass at sports AND Netbattles."
"I do NOT have the hots for him! Just 'cuz I think a guy's hot doesn't mean...oh, wait. That IS what it means. But seriously, I wouldn't ask him out. I know how busy he is," Kiruka replied.
"What if HE asked YOU out?" Yaito asked.
"...Maybe," Kiruka blushed a little.
"Maybe? More like "OH MY GOD, YEEESSSS!! HEE HEE!!"," Meiru laughed. They all giggled again.
"So, when do you guys wanna go?" Yaito asked.
"Soon, probably. We can shop first since it's Saturday and a lot of the stores close early. Then maybe go have dinner at one of the fancy places?" Kiruka asked. "We could all pitch in..."
"Nonsense, I'll put it on my credit card," Yaito told.
"You have a credit card?" Meiru asked.
"Of course. I'm good with money, so my parents let me have one. They even pay most of the bill if my grades are high enough, which they are," Yaito boasted.
"So, are we gonna go, or what?" Jasmine asked.
"Alright!" the others answered in unison. They then got their stuff and headed out.

Ch. 19: The Beginning of the End

"This is gonna be awesome," Netto told. "Everyone plug into this PC." They did so.
Rockman, Gutsman, and Phantom then appeared in one of Higure's public PCs. Phantom looked a little bored.
"I'm not one for games..." Phantom muttered.
"I wouldn't call this a game, so much as cruelty to viruses," Rockman told. Netto then slotted in a Rockcube chip, and Rockman summoned it. "Now, go grab a Mettaur that's hanging out over there." Phantom then went to a group of Mettaurs, easily sidestepped their sloppy attacks and grabbed one. "Now, put it on top of the Rockcube." Phantom did so.
Gutsman then stepped over to the Rockcube. "Watch this! GutsPunch!" Gutsman then punched the Rockcube, sending it sliding across the area, carrying the Mettaur the entire way. The Rockcube shattered against another Mettaur that used its helmet to shield itself. The Mettaur that was on the Rockcube landed upside down, its tiny legs wiggling, trying to get upright. Gutsman burst out laughing, as did Rockman.
"Heh..." Phantom chuckled, only slightly amused.
Gutsman rolled around on the ground, pounding his fist and almost crying. "I never get tired of dat!"
Rockman coughed after having laughed so hard. The three then went silent.
"..."
"......"
".........AGAIN!!" Gutsman exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Kiruka and the girls were in one of End City's malls, having just arrived.
"So, where should we go first?" Meiru asked.
"Somewhere with a sale," Kiruka replied.
Issac and Kudan, along with a few of Issac's friends were also in the mall, hanging out on and around the benches in the middle of the hallway.
Kudan straightened his sunglasses. "Hey, look, a bunch of girls just showed up...damn, they're too young for my taste. Amaya, on the other hand..." Kudan smirked at his own thoughts.
Issac laughed. "Yeah raght! Amaya's freaked out by y'all, fo' sho'!"
"Like you could do any better," Kudan snickered.
"Seems ta meh dat Amaya's got the hizzles fo' Takeshi..." Issac pointed out.
"That punk kid? Hah! He's five years younger than she is, and still in grade school! The only reason he's ever around any of us is because he and his Navi have talent, like we do. Talent for Kyuusaisha to rely on," Kudan replied.
Kiruka and the girls were already in the nearest girls' clothing store, trying on the things that interested them. A few women were there with their sons, the sons having been completely bored until they saw girls their age trying things on. They then ignored their mothers completely and eyed Kiruka as he came out of the change room in a tight, small, white athletic dress.
"I was thinking about something like this for gym class, you know, so I don't always look like such a flamboyant cheerleader..." Kiruka told.
"Kiruka, you ARE a flamboyant cheerleader," Yaito told.
"Oh yeeeah...!" Kiruka remembered.
Back at the benches, Kudan was telling the others about a plan of his.
"This mall's full of TVs and huge speakers. All we have to do is plug into the network, and use this place as a Kyuusaisha commercial! If people are stupid enough to buy those sex pills after seeing them on TV, they'll EASILY join Kyuusaisha!" Kudan told.
"Maybeh...but wha' 'bout the mall securiteh?" Issac asked.
"We'll hijack the main control room and shut the doors electronically. We'll take the emergency exit on the way out. Don't worry, we're only BORROWING it for a few minutes," Kudan explained. The others among the group considered it, and agreed.
"Firs', we'll need ta git INTA' th' control room," Issac pointed out. "Owa Navehs can handle DAT."
"Let's do it!" Kudan exclaimed. He took off for the nearest plug-in point with Issac and the others following. Dynamo and Fefnir appeared in the Mall Network first, followed by six Heel Navis. Dynamo and company headed over to the area with the lock program as the operators headed to the same area in the real world.
"Now, to disarm this thing..." Dynamo told, cracking his knuckles and walking toward the lock program.
"MOOOVE!!" Fefnir yelled, firing. Dynamo jumped to the side as a Burst Shot hit the program and destroyed it.
"Sure, let the whole damn mall know we're here," Dynamo muttered.
"Dun' swea' it!" Fefnir exclaimed.
Kudan and Issac went inside while the three of the others hung around in the general area. The remaining three went around the mall to the emergency exit and hung around there, trying not to look suspicious. Soon enough, Fefnir and Dynamo were displayed on every monitor in the mall.
"Hey all!" Dynamo greeted. "We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you this announcement! The Officials' rule over you all can be ended! You'll all finally be treated as equals! If you want to support this cause, join Kyuusaisha today! One hundred percent free, no obligations! You choose your hours!"
"What the hell? This is bull crap! How am I supposed to know where the SALES are if those two goons are hogging the screens?!" Kiruka asked. "Let's go have a chat with them!"
"Um, okay..." Meiru agreed reluctantly. The others followed Kiruka as he ran toward the advertising control room. A few of Issac's friends were there still. Kiruka slammed his first on the door.
"HEY, PUNKS! DON'T SCREW WITH MY MALL!" Kiruka yelled. He then took out his PET. "Plug in, Harpuia and Zero, transmission!" Kiruka then plugged in just outside the room. Meiru and Jasmine plugged in too. Glide was too busy dealing with Yaito's many long-distance orders, so he didn't join them.
"Whoa, there's no more lock..." Harpuia commented, looking at the burned area. Zero, Roll, and Medi were with him. The Heel Navis turned their attention to the girls and the girlies.
"Are you all here to dance for us, or something?" one of them asked.
"Um, no," Roll told. "We're here because you hijacked the advertisment comp while our operators were busy shopping."
"Big deal. It won't be too much longer..." another one informed.
"Stand aside," Zero told his friends as he summoned his Z-Saber. He pointed it at the Heel Navis. "Since politeness didn't work, I'll tell you in a way you can understand. FIX the thing or I'll slice your heads off."
The Heel Navis all summoned LongSwords. "Try it," the first one growled.
Harpuia summoned his twin blades while Roll and Medi got into fighting stances. Medi produced a CapsuleBomb.
"CapsuleBomb!" Medi yelled, tossing it at them. It exploded, and when the smoke cleared, the two sides jumped into action. Dynamo and Fefnir hadn't noticed, still doing the Kyuusaisha advertisement.
"Roll Arrow!" Roll yelled, firing into the fray, hitting a Heel Navi. That Heel Navi then jumped and tackled Roll, grabbing her by the throat. He drew back his LongSword to impale her.
"WhiteCapsule!" Medi shouted, throwing another capsule bomb at the Heel Navi, this one paralyzing him. Roll took that chance to squirm free. The two of them then picked him up and tossed him, knocking two of the other Heel Navis over. Meanwhile, Zero and Harpuia were taking on the remaining three Heel Navis in a sword fight. Zero parried one of them and put his free hand up to the Heel Navi's face.
"Z-Buster!" he yelled, firing at point black range and sending him flying. Harpuia managed to use his twin blades to slice both of the other Heel Navi's LongSword arms off. The Heel Navis then plugged out, followed by the rest.
"Alright, now to deal with the REAL problem..." Roll told, pointing at Fefnir and Dynamo. Just as they were about to attack, Fireman stepped in the way.
"BACK OFF!" Fireman spat. "I'LL be the one to delete Fefnir, and that other guy if he gets in my way!"
"How did you get here?" Harpuia asked.
"Hinoken plugged me in after he saw Fefnir's mug on the big screen. This is the perfect opportunity..." Fireman told.
"And why should we CARE what you say--" Zero stopped when he noticed Fireman already stomping toward Fefnir.
"Rude much?" Medi asked.
"Fire Arm!" Fireman shouted, blasting a jet of flame at Fefnir. Fefnir was caught in it. Dynamo went to counterattack, but Harpuia, Zero, Roll, and Medi rushed at him.
"Wow, all of you are my lady fans?" Dynamo asked.
"I don't think so!!" Harpuia replied, swinging at him with his twin blades. Dynamo summoned his LashBlade. The battle was now visible on the big screens all around the mall as well.

Meanwhile, someone, most likely some rich person, phoned SciLab and informed them of Kyuusaisha's activity in the mall. Enzan got ready to head out with Raika and Baryl.
"Where's Hinoken?" Enzan asked.
"Already there," Baryl replied.
"And Sukiami and her operator?" Enzan asked.
"No clue..." Baryl answered. Baryl's PET phone then rang. He answered it. "What?"
Sukiami's operator was on the other end. "Baryl, you have orders from the highest authority. You are to return to Netopia, right now. Your partnership with Electopia has ended...something more important's come up."
"...I see," Baryl replied.
"What now?" Raika asked.
"I have to return to Netopia. Apparently, it's something big," Baryl replied. "Maybe I'll be back, maybe not. See you." Baryl then headed out and called for a taxi.
Enzan looked at Raika. "Just you and me, I guess."
"Let's get going," Raika replied. "I already arranged for some police to meet us there." The two then took off for the metro.

The fight in the Mall Comp continued, Fireman versus Fefnir and Dynamo versus everyone else.
"SplitBuster!" Dynamo yelled, rapid firing. The shots split when his targets tried to jump out of the way, sending smaller shots everywhere. Dynamo then summoned a large pack of Rockcubes around. He hid amongst them.
"Let's just destroy these!" Zero yelled, slashing at one. It then exploded. Zero was knocked back a ways, landing on his head.
"Hah!" Dynamo laughed. "Nice try."
Roll started to scan them. "I don't get it. They just seem like normal Rockcubes to me--wait! There's Stealth Mines, too. watch your step, everyone." They then went into the maze of Rockcubes and split up, looking for Dynamo.
"Burst Shot n' th' hizzle!"
"Fire Arm!"
Fefnir's and Fireman's attacks hit each other and cancelled each other out. Fefnir then summoned his larger cannon on his left arm.
"Say goodnaght!" Fefnir boasted. He aimed it directly at Fireman's head. Fireman quickly summoned an Ojizousan as Fefnir fired. The attack struck the Ojizousan, causing it to fire a lighting bolt that paralyzed Fefnir. Fireman then summoned a Fire Sword and jumped forward, striking Fefnir and knocking him over.
"Now, to really finish you..." Fireman growled. "GrassStage!" The area around them then turned to grass panels. "Prism!" Fireman then tossed a small, glowing prism, which landed on Fefnir.
"Whaa--!" Fefnir exclaimed.
"HEATSPREAD!" Fireman roared, pointing both Fire Arms at the prism and firing, the prism duplicating the damage caused by the initial HeatSpread and causing it to spread out even more. When the fire died down, Fefnir had plugged out. "See who's the REAL strongest fire Navi?" Fireman laughed. He then plugged out as well.
Dynamo's makeshift maze continued to baffle its prey. Medi turned a corner, and was suddenly struck in the back of the neck by Dynamo's LashBlade. When she recovered, she saw nothing as she looked behind her. Dynamo hugged the wall.
Heh heh, I could do this all day... Dynamo thought. Roll sneaked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Got ya," Roll mocked.
"Oh yeah?" Dynamo asked, using an Invis. Roll then took off and hid.
Damn, Roll cursed to herself.
With Invis still in effect, Dynamo snuck out of the maze and listened for anyone coming to an exit. He then tossed Prisms onto several of the Rockcubes, making sure to land one on the middle one. "Heh heh...I'll blow them all to Hell all at once. That was too close for comfort." He then jumped up onto a Rockcube, then again, zooming up into the air and facing down, so he could see all of the girls and girlies. "Blinder!" Dynamo created a flash of light, blinding them all. He then landed in the middle right near Zero, placed a Giga Count Bomb on the central Rockcube that also still had the central Prism on it, and then jumped up and out of the Rockcube maze. Zero and company still hadn't gotten their sight back when the Giga Count Bomb exploded. It hit Zero and the first Prism, which duplicated its range and damage, creating a chain reaction with the others and also setting off all of the Stealth Mines. Dynamo watched from a safe distance as the entire area was obliterated. The Rockcubes were all blown to pieces, all of the panels were destroyed, and the four friends were nowhere to be seen. Dynamo burst out laughing. "Fefnir lost to ONE Navi, and I took down FOUR!" He then went back to the big screen. "Sorry for the delay, everybody!"
"There's gonna be a lot more than just a delay," Blues told him from behind. "And don't bother with calling your operator or his friends. They've been arrested for hijacking, and several previous crimes."
Dynamo turned around. "Ah, so one final battle to the death. I'm up for it!" Dynamo grinned.
"You think this is all some GAME, don't you?" Blues spat.
"I do as I please. Kyuusaisha, criminals, goody two shoes, we all end up in the same place. So I'll just enjoy the time I have left. Let's go, you tight-assed cop," Dynamo replied. He summoned his LashBlade while Blues summoned his WideSword. They both started slashing and parrying each other. Blues eventually got the upper hand, Dynamo being both exhausted and without chip axcess.
"I'll give you a chance to come quietly," Blues told.
"And what fun would THAT be?" Dynamo laughed.
"Fine, don't say that I never gave you a second chance. Delta Ray Edge!" Blues yelled, using the Fumikomizan skill to slash Dynamo once from the front, back, front again, and then formed a triangle of energy on Dynamo, slicing him into pieces. The pieces dissolved into useless data, Dynamo's head continuing to laugh the whole time. "..." Blues stood still for about a minute, thinking. "Enzan, it's done. I'm plugging out." He then did so.
In the mall, Kiruka, Meiru, and Jasmine looked at the nearly deleted Navis in their PETs along with Yaito. Enzan came over to them and bowed slightly. "Ladies."
Kiruka blushed. He called me a lady?
"Sorry we couldn't arrive sooner. I actually owe you a great deal of thanks...if not for you buying time, they might have escaped or caused even more damage," Enzan thanked. Hinoken came up behind Enzan.
"Them? Fireman and I did all the real work. We took out Fefnir without any trouble. And with that, I'm no longer going to help you. Kyuusaisha is your burden now," Hinoken told. He then walked away, looking at his PET. "What now, Fireman? More mayhem?"
"More mayhem," Fireman agreed, holding up a Fire Arm.

Back at the Higure-ya, Netto, Dekao, and Takeshi were chowing down on a pizza with Higure and Nanako.
"Just don't get any mess on the Battlechips, got it, huh?" Higure reminded.
"Yeah yeah, your majesty," Netto replied.
"Glad you know me so well, huh," Higure boasted, grinning.
"Alright, guys, check this out," Dekao told. He then stuck the straw from his Coke up his nose. He then snorted, drinking the Coke through his nose. He drained the can. "Ha-HA!"
"I always knew that Dekao snorted coke..." Takeshi commented. Everyone burst out laughing.
"Ha ha! Oh God, that's hilarious!" Netto cried.
"Who's joking?" Takeshi asked.
"I've been snorting Coke for a LONG time!" Dekao exclaimed.
"Hence his grades," Netto added.
"Yours aren't any better, Dorkboy!" Dekao replied.
"Hey, I told you, only ENZAN can call me that!" Netto yelled.

Kudan had managed to e-mail X before he was arrested with the bad news. X dropped to his knees. Shinji walked over to him and looked down. "What is it?"
"Kudan and Issac were arrested. Dynamo and Fefnir, defeated," X whispered, as if someone else could've been listening.
Shinji clenched his fist. "Those Official scumbags...I won't rest until I've torn all of their Navis to shreds!"
"Calm down, Shinji. We can't do anything rash. There's only you and I. I haven't seen Zero, Leviathan's not technically with us, and Phantom is a pure mercenary. Let's lie low, at least for today," X told.
"...Alright," Shinji agreed. X started to drift back to sleep at his usual spot. Shinji walked toward the dge of the area. "Damn it all..."

In the Netopian Official main home page, Sigma and Breakman met up with Sukiami and Colonel.
"There's a reason I've called you two here. I assume you heard of the Kyuusaisha ATTACK on that Electopian mall today." Sigma told.
"Yes," Sukiami replied.
"Since they're starting to affect the real world now, I will lead a campaign in the Electopian Net to DELETE EACH AND EVERY MEMEBER OF KYUUSAISHA," Sigma spat. "The three of you will accompany the soldiers and delete anyone who interferes."
"Commander, isn't that a little--" Colonel was cut off by Sigma.
"SILENCE! My mind is made up! Tomorrow, we attack and destroy them ALL!" Sigma shouted in Colonel's face. "...You're excused. Rest well." He then plugged out with Breakman.
"Well, shit," Colonel muttered. He and Sukiami plugged out as well.

Ch. 20: Two Navi War and Hundreds Navi War

Later that night, Netto and company had gone through a second pizza, the Mettaurs were getting disgruntled, and Higure was ready to tear his hair out. They quickly left when Dekao tried to start a food fight.
Netto wiped all the pizza sauce off of Rockman's PET.
"What made you think I could eat pizza through the PET?" Rockman asked.
"It's the law of guys, Rockman. The more guys are together in a single room, the more each of their I.Q.s drops," Netto explained.
"Nothing happened to me," Takeshi mocked.
"That's because you're a gaymo," Dekao laughed. Takeshi slugged him in the gut.
"There's a difference between being gay and controlling yourself," Takeshi replied.
Netto and Dekao headed back to their houses, Takeshi made his way to the metro, and Higure closed up shop for a while so Nanako could clean up the mess.
Netto went into his house, into his room, and jumped when he heard the phone.
"Netto, it's your phone," Rockman told.
"I know!" Netto yelled. He picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hi, Netto! I'm fixing up Harpy," Kiruka told.
"What's wrong with him? Or should I say, how was he hurt?" Netto asked.
"BIG explosion. Fought some Kyuusaisha guys..." Kiruka told.
"Why?" Netto asked.
"Because they were screwing with the mall, dammit!" Kiruka growled. Netto gulped.
"Ooookay..." Netto replied.
"...There, all done. Harpuia should be fine. Zero took off, though..." Kiruka told.
"Zero was there, too?" Netto asked.
"Yeah, in my PET," Harpuia replied. "I wonder where he is now..."
"I'm going to sleep..." Kiruka told. "Good night."
"I probably should too. See you tomorrow," Netto then hung up.

In End Area 5, Shinji was taking a nap as X watched over the various Navis in the area. Zero stumbled into the area from End Area 4, still badly damaged.
"...Zero? What happened?!" X asked, running toward Zero. He skidded to a stop in front of him.
"No biggie," Zero told. "I just let my guard down, that's all." X then took Zero to the spot where Shinji was napping and sat down with him.
"Sleep," X told. "Regain your energy. We'll need you to be in top condition."
"Why?" Zero asked.
"Since Fefnir and Dynamo are no longer with us, there's only you, Shinji, Phantom, and myself who can be relied on to deal with any more attacks," X explained.
"Alright, I'll sleep..." Zero murmured, collapsing backwards and shutting his eyes.
X's eyes started to feel heavy. "No, dammit, I have to stay up and guard..."
A Heel Navi came over to X. "Don't worry about it. IF anyone REALLY powerful shows up, I'll be sure to wake you up."
"Thank you, friend," X replied. He then collapsed right beside Zero.

Meanwhile, standing on a bridge a while away from Akihara, were Garou and Arashi. Both were leaning on the side of the bridge.
"What next?" Arashi asked. "We're not making very much money."
"I was thinking the same thing. It's because there's two of us. Twice the number of people, twice the cost of living..." Garou agreed. "I have an idea, though."
"What?" Arashi asked. Garou then picked up a rock and smashed Arashi in the forehead with it, knocking her out. He took away her PET and tossed her into the river below the bridge. The river was deep, but several sharp rocks stuck out from the surface.
"That," Garou replied. He then activated Tenguman's PET and plugged Wolfman's PET into it.
"Huh?" Tenguman asked. "Where's Arashi?"
"She's...no longer with us. And you're gonna keep your mouth shut and do EXACTLY as I tell you, or I'll wipe your memory and sell you," Garou growled.
"Why you--!!" Tenguman spat. Wolfman appeared behind him and bit into his neck.
"I'm serious. Or I could have Wolfman tear you limb from limb," Garou added.
"Fine, whatever," Tenguman agreed. Garou then leaned back against the bridge railing, clipping Wolfman's PET to his belt and holding Tenguman's. "Hey, Garou."
"What?" Garou asked.
"Put your ear up close to my PET. There's a really quiet sound coming from it, but I don't know what it is. My PET might be damaged," Tenguman told.
"Oh?" Garou asked. He put his ear right up to the PET speaker. Tenguman then loaded an extremely loud screeching noise with the volume at maximum. "GAAAAHH!!!" Garou yelled, dropping Tenguman's PET, leaning too far over the railing and falling off the bridge, hitting his head on one of the sharp rocks on the way down. As he sunk into the river, a small part of the surface as tainted with his blood.
Tenguman's PET lay on the side of the bridge, still on. "Asshole. No one tells ME what to do."

The next day, Sigma, Breakman, Colonel, and Sukiami had rallied about a hundred Netopian Official Navis. Colonel was the only one who didn't look very excited.
"Soldiers, your orders are simple. Hunt down and delete any Kyuusaisha affiliated Navi, and any Navi who gets in the way!" Sigma ordered. The soldiers all cheered along with Sukiami. Breakman remained silent as usual. "Get to it!" The soldiers then marched. Sukiami led them with Colonel, and Sigma stayed in the center with Breakman alongside him. Throughout the Netopia area, Navis stood aside to make room for the army. Colonel pondered out loud.
"Is this really the way?" Colonel asked no one in particular. "Innocent Navis might get hurt."
"Their fault for not watching their own backs," Sukiami told. Colonel fell silent.

At SciLab, Raika recieved an urgent e-mail. Searchman read it aloud to him.
"Raika--the replacement commander, Vile, is a traitor. He claims to work for Kyuusaisha. He just took control of Sharo's missle system and is targeting Netopia," Searchman read.
"...WHAT?!" Raika blurted out. He took off running, heading past Enzan.
"Huh?" Enzan wondered what was going on.
"I'm taking a helicopter," Raika told. "Sharo business." He then disappeared into another hallway.
Enzan took out his PET. "Blues."
"Yes?" Blues asked.
"We're the only ones left. Should Kyuusaisha attack now, we'd be overwhelmed," Enzan told. "We may have dealt with Fefnir and Dynamo, but they still have more powerful Navis."
"This is a problem..." Blues sighed.
"...Send this e-mail to that Hikari kid for me..." Enzan told.
"Alright..." Blues agreed, then started to type up what Enzan told him to.

At the Sharo Official headquarters, Raika landed the helicopter on top of the building and went in through the elevator on the roof. He made his way to the central computer. Vile was on the main screen.
"Raika, how good of you to join me. You're just in time for the fireworks. Since X doesn't know how to deal with his enemies PROPERLY, I'm doing it FOR him," Vile laughed. "You're welcome to try to STOP me, if you want. But I doubt you can."
"I'll do what I have to do. You'll start an international war!" Raika growled. "Plug in, Searchman, transmission!" He then plugged Searchman into the main computer.

In the main computer Cyberworld, Searchman looked around the area. Guard Navis lay everywhere. The area was riddled with Rockcubes and CanGuard viruses, as well as CirKill viruses. Vile was nowhere to be seen.
"Seems a little weak. Searchman, scan the area," Raika told.
"PanelSearch!" Searchman then started to scan the panels in the nearby area. "Stealth Mines. Lots of them." A CirKill virus spotted Searchman and rushed at him, but it exploded, having hit one of the Stealth Mines. "Damn..." Searchman muttered. Five shots that seemed to be from a ScopeGun flew past his head, being only about an inch off from hitting.
"Take cover," Raika told. Searchman dove behind a Rockcube. "Vile is very similar to you. He has a ScopeGun, Mega Cannon, and specializes in sniping and stealth tactics. That's why he was chosen to fill in for us while we were in Electopia."
"Fine. What's the plan?" Searchman asked.
"Keep moving, but be careful about it. If you sit still too long, you may be hit with an aiming weapon or a bomb," Raika instructed. "And don't bother with Invis. ScopeGun will still be able to find you."
Searchman spotted another Rockcube and rolled behind it. "SearchBomb!" Searchman yelled, tossing a grenade which locked on to Vile's location. Vile strafed to another area of cover before the grenade hit and exploded.
Searchman pondered. He had never been outsmarted before, certainly not on his home turf.
"Needler!" Vile yelled, summoning a Needler virus, which charged toward Searchman's end of the area. Searchman quickly destroyed it with his ScopeGun. "Mega Cannon!" Vile shouted, using his shoulder-mounted cannon to destroy the Rockcube Searchman was hiding behind. Searchman spun around as Raika slotted in some chips.
"Mugen Vulcan!" Searchman yelled, opening fire on Vile. Vile strafed to the side, but wasn't fast enough and was caught in the second half of the Mugen Vulcan's rounds.
"Area Steal!" Vile shouted. He then disappeared, re-appearing behind another Rockcube, a distance behind Searchman. Searchman found another Rockcube to take cover behind, but wasn't actually behind any cover as he didn't know Vile was behind him.
Vile aimed carefully. "AirShot!" Vile fired an AirShot at the Rockcube he was behind, sending it flying into Searchman's back. "Tank Cannon!" Vile then morphed his right arm into a TankCannon arm and fired at the downed Searchman, sending him flying to Vile's original location.
Searchman used another Battlechip. "Barrier200!" Searchman put a fushia colored barrier up around himself. "Raika, Vile has an operator. Any idea where he could be?"
"None. But I have to focus on operating you, so I can't go and look," Raika replied. "We'll deal with him AFTER we've dealt with Vile."
Searchman scanned around for Vile as he took cover again. "...There you are."

Netto was woken up by his PET beeping. "Netto, e-mail," Rockman told.
"Who's it from?" Netto asked.
"Enzan," Rockman replied.
"Oooohhh, great," Netto muttered. Netto then read it. "Huh...he wants me to gather my friends too? Must be important. It says to meet in Akihara Area 3."
"Alright, I'm e-mailing the girls, Kiruka, Dekao, and Takeshi," Rockman informed. After a few minutes of waiting, all but Takeshi had replied. "Great! They're gonna send their Navis to meet us in Akihara 3. No reply from Takeshi, though..."
"No time to wait. Plug in, Rockman, transmission!" Netto told. He then plugged Rockman into his PC.

Rockman, Roll, Harpuia, Gutsman, Glide, and Medi were all gathered in Akihara 3 by the time Blues showed up along with a few dozen Electopian Official Navis. Blues stood in front of all of them.
"This is an emergency, so I'll get straight to the point. Two things. First of all, with me being the last high-ranking Official in Electopian Netspace right now, if Kyuusaisha attacked, there would be a slim chance of victory. Second, I recieved an e-mail from Colonel. The commander of the Netopian Officials is marching a hundred soldiers into the Electopian Net to take down Kyuusaisha, at all costs. As much as I'd love to see Kyuusaisha defeated, all-out war isn't the way. I HAVE to stop them. But I can't do it alone, which is why I've called on you, Rockman, and your friends, to assist me. Will you?" Blues asked.
"...Wait. Who is the enemy?" Rockman asked.
"I'm not sure. We're simply going to hold our ground, and see who reveals themselves to be our true enemy first," Blues replied. "If you don't want to help--"
"No, I'm staying," Rockman told. He then turned to the others. "And all of you?"
"Count me in," Harpuia told with a smile.
"I'll help you, Rockman!" Roll and Medi said in unison.
"Gutsman ready to take on ANYTHING!" Gutsman yelled, doing some practice punches.
"I'll do my best to be of some assistance," Glide agreed.
"Alright, everyone make any last minute preparations right now. You won't get another chance," Blues instructed.
Phantom, clinging to the bottom of the platform everyone was talking on, was listening the whole time. Aha, Phantom thought. Better tell Master X about this. He then plugged out.

At End Area 5, X, Zero, and Shinji had woken up. Zero was feeling a bit shy around X, having seen X right beside him when he woke up.
Phantom plugged in. "I have news."
X looked over at him. "What kind?" Phantom then repeated what he overheard Blues say. "Hmmm...in that case, we'll just have to re-locate."
"How so?" Phantom asked.
"We'll move all of the volunteer soldiers as well as ourselves to Town Area 1. We'll then ambush Akihara 3 and take care of the Netopians. If they're declaring war on us, we can't just sit and wait. We HAVE to fight back," X informed.
"And what of Blues and his followers?" Phantom asked.
"Attack them only if they attack us," X replied.
"Everything returns to nothing in the end. And today, SOMEONE definately will be..." Shinji sighed.
"That's deep," Zero commented.
"Yeah, well, I mean it. I can't just plug out, and I'm not able to fly away either. It's either them or me," Shinji replied.
"Well, everyone who wants to help, come along," X told. He then headed out, being followed by Shinji, Phantom, Zero, and around a hundred Heel Navis.

Searchman and Vile had been shooting and basically playing chicken for about half an hour. Both showed no signs of fatigue.
"Blast it," Vile spat. "I'm gonna have to nuke him with something bigger." He then tossed a BlackBomb over to Searchman's side of the field.
"Gah!" Searchman blurted out. Before he could destroy it without detonating it, Vile took action.
"Magnum!" Vile shouted, jumping up and firing a huge blast at the BlackBomb and Searchman, hitting Searchman and detonating the BlackBomb. Searchman's cover was destroyed. Searchman rolled over, damaged. He got back up and pointed at Vile's area.
"Satellite!" Searchman yelled, summoning a satellite which fired a laser to the spot Searchman pointed at. The laser spread out on impact, catching Vile in the blast. Vile was knocked into a Rockcube.
"Area Steal!" Vile yelled, teleporting right in front of Searchman. He then punched Searchman with a right cross to his face, then slugged him in the gut with his left and fired at him with the Mega Cannon at point blank range, sending him sliding across the area onto a Stealth Mine, which detonated and nearly deleted him.
"Dammit," Searchman cursed.
"That's the difference between you and I. I know how to throw a punch," Vile laughed. He then dashed over to Searchman and grabbed him by the throat. Vile adjusted the Mega Cannon to point at Searchman's face. "Any last words?" Vile charged up the Mega Cannon; it was seconds away from firing.
"WaraNingou," Searchman told, shoving a voodoo doll into the Mega Cannon barrel. Vile fired and took the force of his own shot, and also destroyed the Mega Cannon in the process. He was knocked onto his back, but sat up quickly and glared at Searchman.
Vile aimed his shoulder mouted ScopeGun at Searchman. Searchman aimed his ScopeGun arm at Vile.
"SCOPEGUN!" both of them shouted in unison.

The Netopians arrived in Akihara 3. Blues and the others stood in the way. Sigma stepped forward with Breakman beside him.
"Get out of our way!" Sigma growled. As this happened, Kyuusaisha's forces entered from Town Area 1. X led the charge, but also stopped at Blues and the others.
"It's time to end this," X told.
Blues stared down at the ground, turned to the side of both X and Sigma, and looked into empty abyss. He held his WideSword arm in front of him and told to the abyss, "None shall pass."

Wonderful, I have two paste TWO whole chapters after being flooded off the front page. >.> <.<

Chapter 21: Fallen Angel

Searchman and Vile both fired. Both attacks hit, but only one did damage. Searchman staggered back from the shots as Vile leaped into the air. "Kawarimi!" Vile tossed a shuriken at Searchman, embedding it in Searchman's right shoulder.
"Gaaah!!" Searchman blurted out. He dropped to his knees and clutched his shoulder. Vile landed in front of him.
"That was a clever trick you pulled. But you've used up all your chances, I'm afraid," Vile told. Vile then grabbed the top of Searchman's helmet and slammed his face into the ground. He kept his hand there and squeezed, slowly starting to crack the helmet.

"..." Breakman looked over at Blues.
Sigma floated up to a higher platform with AirShoes, while Breakman jumped up to the same one. They looked down at the huge battle that was about to start. "Whoever among my army deletes Blues for his interferance will be getting a BIG promotion." Sigma smirked.
"You bastard!" Blues yelled. "Area Steal!" Blues then teleported right beside Sigma and raised his WideSword to remove Sigma's head. Sigma realized he was there, but paid him no mind as he continued to smirk.
"Break Buster!" Breakman shouted, firing at Blues. Blues had no chance to even attempt to block as the shots connected, knocking Blues back, then off the platform. He landed on a lower platform that the main forces. Breakman followed him down. The armies then erupted into total chaos, each attacking both of the other sides.
Rockman fought skillfully, taking down both Kyuusaisha and Netopian soldiers, but mostly focusing on backing up his friends. Shinji kept both Harpuia and Zero close, ruthlessly slashing apart any Navi who got near them. When he spotted an opening, he dispeled two FighterSwords, picked up Harpuia and Zero in each free arm and jumped as high and far as he could, getting them out of the main battle. He set them down at the perimeter, also right behind Netopia's main piece of ground.
"There, it'll be easier to attack AND defend from this position," Shinji told.
"Wait...I'm not a Kyuusaisha soldier like Zero. Why're you protecting me at the same time?" Harpuia asked.
"Kyuusaisha is the SECOND PRIORITY group I protect," Shinji told. "You outta know that by now. Now, back me up." A large number of Netopian soldiers rushed at Shinji, not knowing what he was capable of. They were easily cut down.
"Back away!" Sukiami growled, pushing past some of the soldiers. "He's mine."
"Oh, am I?" Shinji asked.
"I wanna delete h--" Harpuia was interrupted by Shinji.
"I had to save you from her once. I don't want to take another chance," Shinji told. Zero had his Z-Buster out, doing his best to pick off soldiers one by one and put up the Shield Boomerang whenever they fired back. The viruses in the area had taken interest in the battle, and joined in. Most were too weak to make a difference, but they fought nonetheless.
"A battlefield...what a fitting grave for a Navi of war such as yourself," Sukiami chuckled. She then summoned her Fujiin Racket. Sukiami flew forward, striking at Shinji as fast as she could. Shinji kept up with her pace using his FighterSwords, although the wind from the Fujiin Racket was pushing him back. Shinji parried, pushed forward, and then used his right foot to kick Sukiami in the jaw and knock her up into the air. She landed on her back not too far away. Sukiami was quick to jump back up, though.
"PaladinSword!" Sukiami yelled, summoning a PaladinSword on her left arm, which was even more powerful than Shinji's FighterSwords. She then floated in the air with her Fujiin Racket and PaladinSword at her sides, appearing angelic, as she looked down at Shinji, who was hunched over and staring up at Sukiami with his FighterSwords pulled back into a stab position, looking like some kind of demon Navi.

Colonel had taken Breakman's place alongside Sigma as they watched the battle from the higher platform.
"Heh...this will be over soon. VERY soon," Sigma chuckled.
"I can only hope..." Colonel muttered.
"I can hear some NEGATIVITY in your tone of voice," Sigma commented. "Is something the matter?"
"We've taken something as small as a dispute between groups and turned it into full-scale war. I've always been one for justice, but not like this," Colonel replied.
"It's not your job to decide how we do things," Sigma growled.
"It's not my JOB, but I CAN have an opinion," Colonel told. "I could desert, if I wanted to."
"I'm starting to wonder if your place in this organization is completely clear to you..." Sigma narrowed his eyes at Colonel and took a few steps closer.
"It is. And it's clear that I shouldn't HAVE that place," Colonel replied, summoning his S-Divider. Sigma summoned a Sword. The two of them locked eyes with each other. No one else knew what was going on up on the upper platform, as Colonel and Sigma had moved to the center, keeping their eyes on each other.
"ElecReel!" Sigma shouted, firing a bolt of lightning at Colonel from his left hand. Colonel blocked with his S-Divider, but the lightning travelled through the blade and struck Colonel, electrocuting him
"GAAAH!" Colonel cried out in pain. He dropped to his knees.
"Oh, how the mighty have fallen. You've gotten soft since your victory over Dr. Regal," Sigma chuckled. He then moved closer, grinning.
Colonel jumped back up. "S-Divide!" He then slashed, sending a wave of energy at Sigma, who slashed it, sending it flying in a random direction. He then charged at Colonel, struck at him with an overhead slash and then drew his Sword back for a lunge. Colonel backed up as Sigma lunged.
"Give it up. You didn't get MY job for a reason..." Sigma told.

Shinji jumped up as high as he could, slashing at Sukiami while do so. Sukiami dodged by flying toward the ground, and then lands. Shinji landed as well, cracking some of the panels around him. Before Shinji could turn around, Sukiami slammed the HeroSword into his back, knocking him down onto one of the cracked panels and breaking it, sending Shinji plummeting toward the abyss. Harpuia saw this and took flight to the spot he had fallen from, punching Sukiami out of the way in doing so. He then used one of the chips Kiruka sent him.
"MagBolt!" Harpuia yelled, summoning a magnet arm and using its force to pull Shinji up and through the broken panel. Harpuia was quick in moving out of the way before Shinji was struck by the MagBolt's electricity. Shinji landed in front of Harpuia but said no thanks, as he was focussed on Sukiami.
"That was a dirty trick you pulled..." Shinji growled. He then swung both of his FighterSwords, parrying Sukiami's weapons. While Sukiami couldn't do anything but block, Shinji summoned his extra arms, leaned closer to Sukiami, reached around behind her and grabbed her angel wings, crushing them and trying to rip them off.
"AAAAHHHH!!!" Sukiami cried out in pain. She continued to hold off Shinji's blades. Shinji then pulled harder, tore Sukiami's wings off and kicked her in the chest, sending her sliding across the panels to near an edge, the impact dispelling her Fujiin Racket arm. Sukiami had tears running down her cheeks from the pain; she had also summoned a Sanctuary on the area around her. Shinji crushed the wings in his hands completely, turning them into useless data. He then stomped over to her. Harpuia couldn't bear to watch. Sukiami, still on the ground, raised her PaladinSword to defend herself. She then pointed it forward. "HolyDre--!"
"You won't be needing THIS," Shinji told as he used one of his free hands to grab Sukiami's PaladinSword arm by the wrist, and a FighterSword to slice it off.
"Why do you protect them?!" Sukiami cried. "Don't you belive in a higher power? God?"
"You're an idiot. "Higher power" is something weaklings believe in to give them purpose and confidence. Me, I live a second time for my OWN purpose, and my confidence comes from my OWN power," Shinji replied. "And that purpose is to protect those who remind me most of my little boy sister, Kiruka, from my time in the real world."
"...Kiruka?!" Harpuia exclaimed. Shinji wasn't paying attention at the moment, though.
"And even though you're a self-centered bitch, even YOU must have SOMEONE," Shinji growled.
Sukiami broke down after that, crying into the one arm she had. "You asshole! "God is all I need! He protects me!"
"Oh, really? Then I suppose he can magically re-attach your arm, and give you enough power to delete me. Let's see it, then. Call for your "God". I want to fight someone of equal strength," Shinji laughed. Sukiami just cried more.
"GO TO HELL!!" Sukiami screamed.
"If you hate me so much, DELETE ME!!" Shinji roared. "Delete me and prove that your "God" is worth believing in!"
Sukiami then got up and rushed at Shinji, summoning a Fujiin Racket on her arm. She went to strike Shinji, but Shinji didn't just stand there.
"Double Cross!" Shinji shouted, summoning all four FighterSwords and performing two cross slashes, the impact knocking Sukiami off the platform.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!" Sukiami cried in agony, falling into the abyss. She cried the whole way down until the abyss swallowed up her data.
Shinji then glared at the Netopian soldiers who had been watching the fight. They started to back off. "...You won't escape..." Shinji growled. He then charged at them, but Harpuia stopped him.
"Um, Shinji..." Harpuia whispered, "...can we go somewhere and talk? Just the two of us?"
"...I suppose," Shinji replied. He then noticed another high platform, dispeled his FighterSwords, picked up Harpuia and jumped up there. Zero continued to fight the Netopian soldiers.

"Hayabushi Giri!" Blues shouted, doing a wide slash then a long slash at Breakman, who easily jumped to the side. There were more smaller platforms around. Breakman took note of them and jumped to one.
"Break Buster!" Breakman shouted, firing at Blues, who rolled back out of the firing path. "HeatSide!" Breakman shouted, firing a firey blast at Blues, who jumped out and out of the way, landing in front of Breakman and raising his WideSword to strike. Breakman slugged him in the jaw, knocking him down, and jumped to another platform.
"Dammit..." Blues muttered.

Back at the mass of fighting soldiers, Rockman was starting to wear down just a bit. He could see Phantom and X fighting the good fight as well.
"Shooting Buster!" Rockman yelled, firing into a group of Kyuusaisha and Netopian soldiers. There was then a sudden explosion behind Rockman. He looked behind him to see Gutsman, Roll, Medi, Glide, and soldiers from every faction lying on the ground, knocked out, and Forte standing among them with a handful of dark energy. "Guys...Forte! Why did you attack my friends?!"
"Fake...remember when I told you that I'd hunt you down and delete you, when you least expected it?" Forte spat. "NOW is that time. Let's go!" Forte shouted, running forward and jumping ahead, flying at Rockman. Rockman raised his buster to fire, but Forte was faster. "Earthbreaker!" Forte slammed the dark energy into Rockman, sending him flying. He landed on his back, with an upside down view of X continuing to fight. He noticed Phantom sneaking away. Rockman had no time to wonder where Phantom was headed, though, as he needed to worry about Forte.
"Hell's Rolling!" Rockman shouted.
"Hell's Rolling!" Forte shouted. They sent energy wheels at each other, which deflected and flew in random directions. They hit random soldier Navis, forcing them to plug out. "I don't know WHAT this war is all about, but I don't care what happens to any of them as long as I tear you limb from limb!" Forte then flew forward again, grabbing Rockman by the throat.

Phantom met up with Leviathan in the Netopian Officials' main hope page entrance.
"Worked like a charm..." Leviathan commented. "With all of the soldiers fighting their silly little war, I can install spyware in the home pages of all the Electopian Officials and Netopian Officials. I have contacts who would pay a lot for the chance to know what goes on there."
"Let's make it fast. Both sides are thinning; anyone could retreat at any time," Phantom informed.
"Alright, I'll get to work. Spot for me," Leviathan told. She then snuck into the home page with Phantom behind her, disarming the security as she did so. There were a few guards, but Phantom struck quickly.
"Kunai!" Phantom yelled, dashing to the center of the guards, and spinning two kunai around himself, catching them all in the attack and forcing them to plug out.
"Installing spyware..." Leviathan told. "...Done. It's hidden UNDER the panels, so they won't be a able to find it. Let's get going to the next one." After a little while, the home pages all had spyware installed on them, and Leviathan plugged out while Phantom headed back to the battle.

Chapter 22: The Fall of Kyuusaisha

Blues followed Breakman along the array of platforms. Before he knew it, he and Breakman were out so far that the main platforms were barely visible. He didn't care, though, as he was focussed on taking down Breakman. Breakman stopped on one platform and spun around, giving Blues a chance to get into melee range. Enzan sent Blues the Sword, WideSword, and LongSword chips, forming the DreamSword program advance.
"DreamSword!" Blues yelled, forming the gigantic sword of energy in both of his hands. Before he could give it a full swing, though, Breakman retaliated.
"Break Strike!" Breakman shouted, swinging his buster in front of him and using a short range fire energy attack on Blues, interrupting the attack and dispeling the DreamSword. Blues bent over backwards to avoid most of the flame. He then re-summoned his WideSword and held it in front of himself to block. Breakman kept the Break Strike going. Blues took advantage of that.
"Area Steal!" Blues shouted, teleporting behind Breakman. He raised his WideSword to strike. Breakman noticed and pressed his buster arm against the emblem on Blues' torso, but didn't appear to be damaging Blues. Blues simply brought the WideSword down and sliced off Breakman's left arm, his buster arm. "I don't know WHAT you were trying to do just then."
"You'll soon find out," Breakman stated. Blues glared and attacked again. Breakman backed up, nearing the edge of the platform, using his shield to block the strikes. He started to slow, though, and one of Blues' slashes got through, removing the shield arm and knocking Breakman down.
"For the second in command of the Netopian Officials, you're quite lacking," Blues told before dispeling the WideSword.
"Oh, really? Well, enjoy your last few moments of life," Breakman muttered.
"What're you talking about?" Blues asked.
"When I touched your emblem, I transmitted a virus. One of Netopia's finest. It should be taking effect right about..." Breakman started. Blues then looked at his hands as they, and the rest of his body, was disintigrating into useless data, at a very slow rate. "...Now."
"Blues, plug out!" Enzan told. Nothing happened.
"Nice try," Breakman told. "Only I have the antivirus. And my time is running out as well. Maybe I'll see you in Hell." Breakman was starting to disintigrate as well.
Enzan was thinking as best he could about a way to repair Blues. He then remembered the Forte Cross upgrade. "Dr. Hikari!" Enzan took off to find the one person who might be able to save Blues. He found Dr. Hikari in the lab.
"Enzan, what's wr--?!" Dr. Hikari had no time to finish his sentence as Enzan practically pulled him to the mission control room.
"It's Blues. Got infected by a virus, and only a Navi called Breakman has the antivirus. He's helpless right now, though. Since you designed a Forte Cross program that gave Rockman some of Forte's abilities, you could make one for Blues, but to give him the antivirus Breakman possesses!" Enzan told.
"This is all very sudden, I..." Dr. Hikari started.
"Blues will die if you don't!" Enzan yelled.
"...Alright. I'll do what I can. Show me this Navi," Dr. Hikari told. Enzan held up his PET. "No good. We need a part of Breakman in order to make the program. Blues, you HAVE to take hold of Breakman otherwise there's no connection to SciLab!"
Blues heard this, and staggered over to Breakman. He grabbed him by the neck.
"So, we're to become ONE? I wonder if someone such as yourself is up for a task like that," Breakman chuckled.
"No, it's just me using you in order to survive. Nothing personal," Blues replied.
Dr. Hikari worked as fast as he could, using the code from Forte Cross as a reference. Breakman had been plugged out into Enzan's PET through Blues, and was being transformed into a program.
With Breakman's last words, he cursed Enzan and Dr. Hikari. "You're like parasites, using someone else in order to survive. I pity your pathetic existance..." The transformation was then complete. Enzan uploaded the Breakman Cross program to Blues. Blues then plugged out, repaired, but passed out in Enzan's PET. Enzan tried to re-activate him, but nothing happened.
"...Blues?" Enzan asked.
"Let him rest. Breakman Cross was VERY rushed, plus, unlike Forte Cross, a lot more of the base Navi remains in this. Not to mention the antivirus needs to go to work. Give him at least 12 hours," Dr. Hikari informed.
"...Thank you, Dr. Hikari," Enzan replied. "If you talk to Netto, tell him I'm sorry that Blues isn't there fighting with Rockman."

Sigma struck, knocking Colonel off of the high platform and into the brawl, where he was fiercely attacked by Heel Navis and forced to plug out. Rockman looked up to where Colonel had fallen from.
X had noticed this. Hmmm, all of Kyuusaisha's forces are accounted for...so what attacked Colonel? He then took flight and headed up to that platform. He stopped in mid-air when he saw Sigma.
"Well, if it isn't Rockman X. I've been waiting for a chance to crush you," Sigma told with a smirk.
"Who are you?" X asked.
"You shouldn't care. Because you'll be dead soon!" Sigma replied, aiming his left hand at X. "ElecReel!"
X dodged the bolt of lighting and landed on the platform. "X-Buster!" X opened fire with both busters at Sigma, who managed to block all of the shots with his single Sword arm. Sigma then adjusted the arc of the Sword and reflected the shots back at X, knocking him down. X struggled to get back up, already tired from fighting so many other Navis.

Shinji ran as fast as he could, fleeing the scene of the battle with Harpuia in his arms.
"Where are we going?" Harpuia asked.
"Away from the fighting," Shinji replied. He continued on and eventually made it to Park Area 1, where he set Harpuia down and dropped to his knees, panting. Harpuia sat down next to him and looked up at him.
"Hey...back there, you mentioned the name "Kiruka"...my operator's name..." Harpuia commented.
"I'm Kiruka's brother. That is, I WAS. Not anymore," Shinji replied. "There was no way for me to contact her. So I did the best I could to make up for my failure all those years back."
"Shinji...you didn't fail. You showed Kiruka that there ARE nice people out there. You gave her hope," Harpuia assured.
"Even so...I couldn't be there. It was my JOB to be there because no one else could!!" Shinji growled. He slammed one of his fists into the panel in front of him, cracking it.
"You don't have to baby Kiruka...or me, you know. Big girls can take care of themselves," Harpuia told.
"Just like you did with Sukiami..." Shinji pointed out.
"Okay, point taken. But I'll get stronger, just you wait!" Harpuia told with a smile. He then leaned on Shinji's shoulder and put his arms around Shinji's torso.
"You're...embracing me...why?" Shinji asked nervously.
"Why not? Don't you like me?" Harpuia asked, looking into Shinji's emotionless black visor.
"I never said that...but with my lifestyle, I would only be a bother to you and your cheerful self. I would only bring you down with my negativity," Shinji replied.
"I'll cheer you up in no time!" Harpuia exclaimed.
"Really? Harpuia...before you decide to say that and really mean it...I want you to pull my helmet off," Shinji told.
"Helmet...? That's not your real face?" Harpuia asked.
"Take my helmet off and see," Shinji told. Harpuia did so, slowly, as if Shinji was a fragile Navi. When the helmet was removed, Shinji's true face was revealed; he looked like a more masculine version of Kiruka, with shorter black hair that hung low on his forehead. However, there was one major flaw. Where a person's eyes would normally be, Shinji had nothing, not even sockets. He looked as if he never had eyes at all. His face was also riddled with scars from his previous life, having not healed during the transition from human to Navi.
"...What happened to your eyes?" Harpuia asked, almost in tears.
"The night those punks showed up to beat up Kiruka, when I went off to fight them...they ended up kicking my ass and dragging me down under a bridge. I remember one of their quotes clearly..."You're blind to what your freak of a "sister" really is. You don't deserve to see." Then, he grabbed a large, sharp rock while the others held me down, and carved out my eyes. The pain haunts me every time I sleep; I can still feel the blood pouring down my face."
A single tear ran down Harpuia's cheek. "You took all that...to protect Kiruka?"
"Like I said, it's my job. Because no one else would do it," Shinji told. "And...well, I had always been a negative person. Kiruka was one of the few things in life that made me feel happy. So that's why, after I was transformed into a Navi, I dedicated myself to helping those like her."
Harpuia kissed Shinji, right where his eyes would be, as he continued to hold him. Shinji didn't move, but smiled slightly. Shinji picked up the helmet after Harpuia had let go.
"Shinji, thank you..." Harpuia cried, looking into the spot he had kissed.
"I'm not Shinji. I'm just a dead human," Shinji told. He then held up the helmet in front of Harpuia's eyes. "THIS is Shinji." He then put the helmet back on, and got back up. "Well, c'mon, let's go. We still have other friends to help."

X was in melee combat with Sigma, swinging his buster arms with great speed as Sigma parried with his Sword arm.
"Curse of Bug!" Sigma yelled, inflicting an HP bug on X. X staggered.
"Damn you..." X spat. He continued to fight, slowing down more and more as the effects of the bug took effect. Sigma eventually backed away, letting the bug go to work. When X was infected to the point where one more attack would delete him, Phantom appeared beside him.
"Master X!" Phantom blurted out. He then turned to Sigma and drew his katana. Sigma produced a BigBomb. "Don't even think about it--!"
"Hahaha! No Net communists are going to run rampant while I rule!" Sigma laughed. He then tossed the BigBomb. Phantom plugged out and X was hit, being knocked off the platform onto the area below, disintigrating into useless data. A Heel Navi saw this.
"Master X--!!" he exclaimed.
"Forget about me, about this. Just save yourselves..." X told before vanishing completely. The Heel Navis all looked at the spot he had vanished from, as did the Netopian and Electopian Officials. Gutsman, Roll, Medi, Glide, and Zero looked as well. Rockman and Forte, however, continued to fight. Forte still had Rockman in his grip.
"You insignificant little worm..." Forte cursed, crushing Rockman's neck. Rockman gagged. Forte used his free hand to grab the piece of his cloak that Rockman wore and pull it off. Rockman's Forte Cross form dissolved, and Rockman was his normal self again. Forte fused the piece onto the rest of his cloak and tossed Rockman aside like garbage. Rockman coughed and got back up. Forte turned to him. "Darkness Overload!" Before Forte could attack, Gutsman, Roll, Medi, and Glide surrounded him. Forte then let the attack go, but it exploded so close to him after hitting Gutsman that he was hit as well. All five Navis were caught in the blast. After the smoke cleared, Forte lay alone, heavily damaged. He summoned a portal and floated into it. "I got what I came for today. I'll save revenge for some other time." Forte and the portal then vanished.
Netto sent Rockman a Full Energy subchip. "Rockman, you okay?"
"I feel fine, now. But our friends..." Rockman replied.
Sigma jumped down from his platform, landing among the remaining Netopian Officials. "X is deleted. Kyuusaisha is finished. Any of you who defy me now will share the same grave."
Rockman looked over at him. Zero stood beside Rockman. "I'll take those odds..." Zero told. He then rushed at Sigma.
"Hell Boomerang!" Sigma shouted, throwing three giant boomerangs which flew around Zero, then turned and hit him. Sigma then stretched out his left hand. "ElecReel!" He then fired, hitting Zero and kncoking him into the ground. Zero tried to get up, but couldn't.
"...Sigma, I now know why X did what he did. He may have been wrong, but you're wrong as well! No one group should have total rule! We need to co-exist and respect one another!" Rockman told.
"The only person I respect is myself," Sigma spat. He raised his Sword to attack.
"Netto, Battlechip!" Rockman yelled. Netto went to send a Sword chip, but dropped it along with the rest of his chips all over the floor.
"Dammit!" Netto cursed.
Rockman backed up, Sigma closing in. "Rockman!" Zero yelled, tossing Rockman his Z-Saber. Rockman caught it.
"Z-Saber!" Rockman shouted, doing a triple slash at Sigma, who blocked all three. Rockman then did a fourth slash, sending a Sonicboom at Sigma. Sigma dodged to the side.
"Persistant little twerp. I'll ENJOY deleting you," Sigma chuckled.

Blah, double post. But the fic is DONE, with this being the last chapter:

Chapter 23: The Sigma Virus and Resolution

Suddenly, a CirKill virus opened fire on Vile. The shots struck him, releasing his grip on Searchman and knocking him onto a Stealth Mine, which exploded and damaged him severely. Searchman got back up.
Vile looked up from where he lay. "You just got lucky."
"It had nothing to do with my luck. It had EVERYTHING to do with your stupidity," Searchman replied. "ScopeGun!" Searchman then fired 5 shots through Vile's head, deleting him. Vile's body dissolved.
"Searchman, deactivate the missiles. I'm going to look for Vile's operator," Raika told.
"Alright," Searchman agreed.
Raika took off running, heading past a door into the war room. It was empty. However, an air duct was open. Raika crawled into it to follow whoever had been in there. After getting about halfway through, he heard something rolling toward him. When it stopped in front of him, it was too late. "Sleeping gas--" Raika muttered, falling asleep among the gas that sprayed from the smoke bomb that had rolled in front of him.

Rockman and Sigma clashed blades. Netto had picked up the dropped Battlechips, but let Rockman continue to use the Z-Saber for as long as he could. By this time, the soldiers had stopped fighting; all attention was focussed on Rockman and Sigma.
"ElecSword!" Sigma shouted, summoning an ElecSword on his left hand. He then swung both, knocking the Z-Saber from Rockman's hands with one and striking Rockman to the ground with the other. He raised both of the blades to remove Rockman's head. Rockman then rolled to the side, did a handspring, and summoned his buster on his left hand.
"Rockbuster!" Rockman yelled, firing at Sigma. Sigma used both blades to block. Sigma then dashed up to Rockman and slashed twice. "Katana! Kunai!" Rockman summoned a Katana on his right hand, and a Kunai on his left. He spun around with the Kunai to parry Sigma's blades, then slashed at Sigma's neck with the Katana, glancing him. A small cut appeared on Sigma's neck, leaking data at a very small rate.
"It doesn't matter what happens to me..." Sigma chuckled. "This body is worn down from already defeating three opponents. I'll simply possess you." Sigma then closed his eyes, and a few seconds later, a huge hologram looking version of Sigma's face appaeared above all of the Navis. It closed in on Rockman.
"What?!...Sigma's a virus..." Rockman gasped. He backed up, raising his weapons defensively.
"It's no use! Your weapons won't harm me!" the giant face laughed. Rockman took off running, followed by Sigma. Sigma's body collapsed, having no programming in it anymore. Zero got up, retrieved his Z-Saber, and looked toward the direction Rockman ran.
"Hmmm..." Zero wondered. He then followed.
Rockman arrived in Oran Area 1, and kept on going. Sigma was gaining on him.
"You're only prolonging the inevitable! I'll take control of you and use your body to once again dominate the Net!" Sigma roared.
Rockman was eventually backed into a dead end. "Dammit..."
"Rockman, plug out?" Netto asked.
"No! If we don't stop Sigma now, he could take control of any other Navi and do all of this again!" Rockman told.
"Wait...I think I have a chip that can stop Sigma! It can go through ANYTHING!" Netto then sent Rockman a battlechip. Zero was a ways behind Sigma, watching him close in on Rockman.
"Gun Del Sol EX!" Rockman yelled, summoning a Gun Del Sol and firing a spread sunbeam at Sigma. Sigma was unaffected.
"Nice try!" Sigma laughed. He was meters away from Rockman.
"Sorry I have to do this to you, friend..." Zero told, picking up a stray Mettaur. He tossed it as hard as he could at Sigma.
"HAHAHAHA--" Sigma was cut off as his face was absorbed into the Mettaur's body. The Mettaur, Sigma, then looked around, trying to figure out what happened. "...WHAT?!...No matter, all I have to do is leave---" Sigma was silenced as his Mettaur body was deleted by Zero's thrown Z-Saber. The Mettaur dissolved into useless data, taking the Sigma virus with it. The Z-Saber landed on the ground, having previously pierced through the Mettaur's helmet.
"Next time, shut your mouth and keep your mind on the job..." Zero told with a smile, walking up from behind where Sigma was and picking up the Z-Saber. He gave Rockman the thumbs up. "You were pretty cool then, refusing to give up even though you didn't know what you were doing. Sigma was different from other viruses. He has no body and never did. You have you delete whatever he possesses. That goes for all viruses like that."
"Uh...thanks," Rockman told, scratching his noggin. Shinji and Harpuia arrived on the scene as well as Roll, Medi, Gutsman, and Glide. "Oh, hey, everyone!...Roll, I thought you were deleted by Darkness Overload..."
"Gutsman took the hit. The rest of us plugged out right before...and you know Gutsman. He loves pain," Roll informed.
"I wonder where Phantom went..." Rockman wondered. "He ran off during the battle."
"Who cares?" Shinji asked. "You can't really trust that guy. He was just a hireling."
"And Sigma's body?" Rockman asked.
"I dumped it into the abyss on the way here. Now STOP WORRYING and relax. You fought hard," Zero replied.
"The soldiers all are hanging out and talking, now, since their commanding officers aren't there. Let's go join them!" Harpuia told.
"...Alright," Rockman agreed.

In Sharo, Raika had been woken up by a worker and helped out of the air duct. The worker also handed Raika Searchman's PET.
"Sir, are you aright?" the worker asked.
"...Yes. But that jerk got away. I didn't even find out who they were," Raika replied.
"Maybe someday," Searchman told.
"Tell everyone that I'm heading back to Electopia. Enzan deserves an explanation, at least," Raika told the worker. He then took off. He went to where the helicopter that he had taken from SciLab was, but it was gone. "Damn..." Raika then headed over to a Sharo plane, got in, and took off.

At SciLab, Enzan was monitoring Blues' health as Yuuichirou was working on another Navi. Enzan looked at the Yuuichirou's computer screen.
"Dr. Hikari, is that...?" Enzan asked.
"Yes. Rockman X...my Navi. I'm rebuilding him from scratch. I'd like to have Blues and Rockman tell him the story of Kyuusaisha, how it came to be, and how it was defeated. It would help him a lot. Of course, this new version of X won't be ready for a month or so," Yuuichirou replied. "Blues, however, should be okay in a few days. After Breakman Cross removes the virus, you can use Breakman Cross on and off as you see fit."
"Alright. And thanks again," Enzan replied. Enzan then heard a plane land on the SciLab airstrip. He went outside to see who it was. Raika jumped out of the plane and walked over to Enzan.
"Sorry. A Kyuusaisha soldier had taken control of Sharo's missles..." Raika explained.
"It's over. I got an e-mail from Netto. Kyuusaisha's gone, and so is Sigma. The Electopian Officials are going to have a lot of work to do. Will you lend your assistance?" Enzan asked.
"I will," Raika replied. "And what happened to Baryl?"
"I got an e-mail from him as well. He apologizes for having done what he did. He said that his days as an Official are over," Enzan told. "Come on inside, we have a lot to plan."

Back at Netto's place, Netto, Kiruka, Meiru, Dekao, Yaito, Jasmine, Higure, Haruka, and Ms. Mariko were having a huge dinner feast to celebrate the end of the fighting.
Haruka got up and headed into the kitchen. How am I going to give Netto this upsetting news when he has such good friends?
In Netto's home page, Rockman, Harpuia, Shinji, Roll, Gutsman, Medi, Glide, Numberman, and Zero were all there. Numberman was being filled in on the recent happenings; since he was Higure's Navi, he was often out of the loop. Shinji was asleep, with Harpuia leaning on his shoulder, smiling.
Rockman saw this, and smiled as well. "I wonder when I'll find the right Navi..." He looked up into the cyberspace, as did Roll from the opposite end of the group.

Phantom and Leviathan sat inside Club Levy, it being closed for "rennovations".
"Well, now that there's no war...that's good, AND bad. Good that no one's snooping around here, but bad in that chip sales go down when the fighting goes down," Leviathan told.
"Just be patient. As long as there's free will, there will be fighting. And then Navis such as you and I can work quietly in the background and come out on top without anyone even knowing it," Phantom assured. He smirked. "Although we should probably look for a more distant Cyberworld, one that has more chaos going on. I'll let you know when I find something." Phantom then plugged out.
"...That guy always was full of himself," Leviathan muttered. "And something else, too."
