Adver Man: The Ultimate Evil; The Final Chapter and Epilogue

Welcome to the new second season of Adver Man. This is a fanfic I'm continuing for Sigma.exe, who could no longer keep up his hectic schedule to make enough spare time anymore. So I've "inherited the family business" for real this time, so to speak. With that said, here's episode 24: Ring Around the Rosey. Kenishiro gets a brand new minion to fill the Adver Metools' void, and an alliance with Amerope leads to a new development that could mean the cure for the Neko Virus...

Thanks for the feedback, Rev (is it OK if I call you that?). Never figured that out till you mentioned it, oddly enough. Then again, Sigma and I grew up in similar environments (read: relatives who like to joke around and party a lot), so it's possible that he corrupted me. It's a good thing, otherwise this fic wouldn't have nearly the same mood, and the change of pace would just be awkward.

Thanks for the message, Roy. Sigma says thanks and he appreciates all the positive feedback you've given him over the past few months you've read and posted.

Part 24 will come...eventually. I'm in the midst of finals right now, and then SWEEEEET FREEEDOOOMMMMM!! (Braveheart-style cheer) In the meantime, it's time to study -.-

THE FINAL FINAL EXAM IS OVER (pardon the redundancy)!! I have to sell the books back of course, to get SOME profit out of my education...and then I shall burn the rest I couldn't sell :grr:

So...yap. To celebrate, I'll post yet another chapter in the Adver Man saga. Note: I have not yet played Battle Chip Challenge; all I know is that Ring looks like a magical-girl-type and is rumored to act like an insecure child. So since the purpose of slapstick is to exaggerate personalities...Magical Girl Ring-chan is given a magical ability: transforming into an adult version of herself! Dun-dun-DUNNNNN.

Back from the dead. (BRRAAAAIIINNNNS...) Geez, I shudder to think how long I waited for inspiration to kick me in the arse on this story. And ooh, I like my host's new layout.

So for those of you who need to be caught up with what happened recently, Rockman, Slur, Aquaman, and Forte had been infected with a deadly virus called the Chibi-Baka-Neko. Hearing of a new method to cure this illness, the Net Saviors were in IPC's lab basement running an experimental test, when suddenly who should attack them but Kenishiro's new minions, Mary Towa and Ring-chan.

...And that's where we are!

Some by land,others by...space! This was a nice addition. And now we know more about "How To Stop Adver Man" (available June 18th)

And Netto is such a dork,he's funny. What would this story be if Netto was the smartest and crazy at the same time-?

Adverman's NetOp is of average intelligence, you said... but Netto is supposed to be thick, lazy and stupid... so does that mean that the average Joe is lazy and stupid? O_o

To NotJim: That's because of the slapstick genre, and because of my writing style. To fit the nature of this fanfic, I exaggerated everyone's personalities a bit, so most things in this fic, including the relation of Netto or Kenishiro to be the real definition of "average," are unintentional, that much is certain. Overall, keep in mind that this is a comedy fanfic and implies nothing whatsoever about the average human condition in reality, since everything is taken so out of whack in comic context. Long story short: nothing in this story, written only for amusement, is meant to be offensive to anyone, and it was never, ever meant to be taken seriously. My apologies if it was @_@

First, general comments.

The entire series is quite masterfully done. One of the best satirical works I have ever read. Many satires often have subtle humor, but this one is simply laugh-out-loud at many turns. On multiple occasions I was unable to continue because my poor liver and spleen were being compressed to the point of pain due to laughter.

Now, for this chapter:
Wow. That was sick. Where you came up with that idea is beyond me. Why it even exists is beyond me. It is still awfully hilarious, and the last line is..well...words cannot describe it.

Midnight Critic: I appreciate your appreciation of my humorous creation. As for your last comment...well, there's not much I could really do about that, since I felt rather st00pid when I wrote that part, and don't want to edit it out, mostly out of laziness.

You're almost right about Netto's method of generating power, NotJim. It's the thing that usually comes after farting, preferably on a full stomach. Dunno how to put this lightly, but anything that goes in...has to come out. @_@
