A few questions that cam up my mind....

1. Who made the Copy Chips?

2.Where does Sigma get his bodies from?

3.Is Gate acually dead? o_O

3. He is, although I'd actually like to see him come back for one game. Like Vava, only not.

2. He generally seems to plan far enough ahead to have new bodies waiting for him in the case of defeat. In X3 we see a great number of Sigma bodies in teh background of the final stage.

3. Debatable, most people say he's dead but, as far as I know, they never really say.

1) My guess is that Sigma made the Copy Chips, leaked the information to the World Federation with no one knowing it was him, so they would create the New Generation Reploids (Sigma's "Children) without knowing the truth.

2) X3 gave a decent explanation: Sigma uses his viral powers to corrupt innocent reploids into doing his bidding, and he makes them build him new bodies.

3) Probably

1. Some prominent microprocessor manufacturer (perhaps the equivalent to what Intel, IBM, AMD, Via, or Motorola are today) manufactured them, no doubt. I'm betting some idiot had the bright idea of including Sigma. I also doubt Sigma got himself into the copy chips on his own, but rather took advantage of the aformentioned blunder.

2. Either he gets them built on his time (as in X1, and possibly X4 and X5), gets his minions to build them (as in X2), or he manipluates someone into building them (as in X3 and X6).

3. Well, we don't know for sure. Alia said she'd try to repair him, but we don't know just how extensive the damage was. It would be great to have him back, but then again, X would have some competition over Alia...
