Ch 1
Rockman's Look-a-likes!



I was walking home after school, like I did every weekday. Same route, playing the same game series, Megaman Battle Network. I put my DS in my backpack when I stopped a the park to take a short break. I ran my hand through my short brown hair, there was something different about to day I wasn't sure what though. I shrugged the thought of and continued to walk home, I was nearly halfway home when it happened. It felt as if there was nothing under my feet, I tried to take a step and I suddenly was pulled straight down.

Next thing I saw was some water right before I hit it. I was near enough to the shore to pull myself out quickly. My eyes started to look around, at the buildings, the people, the PETs. That was what caught my eyes a lot of the people that I could see had PETs, as I wondered where I was a kid skated right into me. I picked up the PET he dropped instantly recognizing the navi in it, Megaman, or was it Rockman? That was the question no doubt about it somehow I knew that this was one of the Rockman.EXE worlds, but which one?

"Excuse me but that is my PET." a voice said to me I glanced up and noticed the Net-Op next to me. Cautiously I handed it to him, it was his after all. "My name is Netto Hikari" He said introducing himself.

I didn't want to be rude, but I wasn't from this world. Should I tell him my first and last name or just my first, or none at all, I thought to my self . "My name is Mark, your navi is Rockman.EXE right, your dad works at SciLab, and you are a Net Savior." I said with out even realizing it, this couldn't be happening how did I wind up in the world of Rockman.EXE?

"Yes how did you know that?" Netto asked looking at me curiously.

"Well Netto, you probably wouldn't believe me. Plus I want to talk to your dad and Meijin, I think of anyone in this world they can help me get home." I said standing up. I looked down at the clothes I had on, my shirt had changed slightly, it was still a gray long sleeve shirt, but there was flames on the cuffs and waist of it, other than that my other clothes were the same, blue jeans Black velcro shoes. Of course my clothes were slightly wet since I had just got out of what appeared to be a harbor.

"I was going to see my dad, I guess I could take you with if you tell me where you are from." Netto said still staring at me.

"Another earth, how I don't know, why I don't know. But I do know that Meijin Eguchi and Yuuichirou Hikari are the best scientists in all of this Japan." I said noticing that Netto must of thought I was out of my mind, but I ignored that.

"I don't quite believe you, but it would fit the reason you were in the harbor and asked where SciLab was, it is just a couple blocks from here. Do you have a PET and navi Mark?" Netto said looking back at me as he walked down the sidewalk.

"Well, I don't know if I have a navi or not. They don't actually exist where I am from but I do have a Progress PET, don't know if it will work here, isn't real where I am from." I said as we reached SciLab.

He said nothing as we entered SciLab, he headed for his dad's lab as if I wasn't with him. "Dad, Meijin, I found something you might not believe." He said as he walked into the lab.

"I am not a something Netto Hikari, I am a person. Just because I said I am from a parallel earth doesn't mean I am not human." I yelled at him as I entered the lab right behind him. Dr. Hikari and Meijin were staring at me, they had amazed looks on their faces like they had never seen someone talk before.

"You are from another what?" Meijin asked to see if he heard right.

"Meijin Eguchi, are you hard of hearing, and why do you and Dr. Yuuichirou Hikari look like you've never seen some one talk? Is it because I said I am from a parallel earth?" I asked as while walking around the lab.

"Do you have any proof, that you are from another world?" Dr. Hikari asked me and I finally stopped looking around.

" Actually I don't know if I do. I know your names though we haven't met before. Well you could check my bag, maybe you could find something in there that would prove I was from another earth. Oh yeah almost forgot my name is Mark." I said taking my backpack and handing it to Yuuichirou.

They dug through my bag and instantly found my Megaman Battle Network Games, Progress PET, and my Japanese book. That is when it donned on me, Netto, Meijin and Rockman are the Japanese characters therefore in their world they would be speaking Japanese in Japan yet I understood them and they seemed to understand me. " Why do you have a book to learn Japanese? You seem to speak it fluently." Netto said looking at the book.

It didn't make since to me there should still be a language barrier between us, crossing into a parallel world shouldn't change what language you speak, I guess I was meant to wind up here for some reason and that is why there was no language barrier. Or maybe it was because I had something with me acting like Mokona from Tsubasa, a translation device of some sort. "I didn't speak it very well this morning when I went to class that is for sure, I don't know why I can now." I said as I grabbed one of the games.

"Here is your proof, a game called Rockman.EXE 5 Twin Leaders." I said as I put it in my DS, which thankfully made the trip with me.

They watched the intro and noticed that Netto, and Meiru were in it along with others. "Interesting, proof of some sort that you aren't from this world but from somewhere else, we will try and find out how you got here and try to get you home." Meijin said still staring at the game.

"Worm hole is my guess, supposedly connects two points in space and time, there for if one formed where I was then that would explain how I got here." I said looking at my PET, and some sketches of my navi, as I picked up the sketches a few chips fell from them, they all had the word Blazeman on them, my navi's name so I grabbed them. "I might be here for a bit right, till you can find out how to send me home." I said as I slid the 5 chips into my PET and suddenly a emblem appeared on the screen and a body slowly started to take shape around it. I put the PET in my pocket when they weren't looking.

"Netto, I think we should let him stay with us for a while." Dr. Hikari said looking at his son.

"I guess so since he has proof he isn't from here he needs some where to stay after all." Rockman's voice said from his PET.

"Dad was talking to me not you Rockman. I agree with you though, he does have to stay some where and everyone else would probably think he a stalker or something." Netto said

"So it is ok with us, we just have to let your mother know that there will be an extra person around for a while. Netto I'll call home and let you mom know, you two should go on home so she can meet Mark." Dr. Hikari said looking at Netto and me.

"Ok." Netto said heading towards the door, I grabbed my book and bag, I decided to leave my games there, I figured since all but one of them was the US version that they weren't what was acting as a translation device. I followed Netto as soon as I got my stuff to gather.

As soon as me and Netto got to his place his mom greeted us at the door, I didn't feel like explaining how I knew her name, it was hard enough trying to explain to Yuuichirou, Meijin, and Netto. I decided to introduce myself, and let her introduce herself. It was hard for me to stop Netto from telling her that I was from another earth. I doubt that she would believe it, but she definitely would of led to a lot of questions, ones I didn't really have good answers for.

After dinner I sat in Netto's room talking with him and Rockman when I remembered about my navi, on the way there I put the PET back into my bag so I it didn't take me long to find it. "Plug-in!! Blazeman, transmission!" I said aiming the PET at the plug in sensor next to Rockman on Netto's computer screen stood a Navi that looked like Rockman Fire soul, but the hair was orange, the gray parts were red and the red parts were black, the emblem on his chest was the Kanji for flame, in red on a gray background.

"Hey your navi is a rip of mine!" Netto shouted at me.

"What do you expect, I didn't feel like having a fire navi that looked like Gutsman." I said glancing at the screen. "Plus I think that Rockman is flattered, you should be to Netto, or did you expect my navi to look like you?" I started to laugh slightly.

"Netto, are you jealous that Blazeman looks like Firesoul?" Rockman started to laugh.

"I am not Jealous!" Netto shouted.

"There doesn't seem to be any trouble so maybe you two should go to bed. I bet that Mark will probably want to meet Meiru, and the others. I have a feeling that it will take a while to find out how to send him home." Rockman said looking at them from the computer screen.

"Good idea, sleep would do us some good." I said before plugging Blazeman out.

I woke up to Rockman yelling at Netto to wake up. "Morning Rockman." I said sitting up. "Anything odd happen?" I asked as I finally stood up.

"No just I thought he was going to introduce you to his friends today, Yaito is going to her castle today, and Meiru is going to the airport to meet some one. If he doesn't wake up soon you'll only meet Dekao, Chisao, Tohru, and Enzan today." Rockman said still trying to wake up Netto.

I walked over and started to pull Netto's ear "Wake up Netto, or I'll take your rarest chips." I said tugging on his ear.

"My chips, who's stealing them?" He shouted sitting straight up, noticed I was the only one in the room other than him he glared at me. "That wasn't nice at all!"

"It worked right, I thought you were supposed to introduce me to your friends but I think that Meiru and Yaito already left." I said as I grabbed my PET and walked out of his room

We are now entering our final approach for the Densan airport. Please gather your things and be prepared to leave," the intercom announced. A young boy with Metallic blue hair and glasses was snoring loudly, and didn't hear the message.

"HEY, Fujin wake up!" the kid next to him shouted.

"OW, MY EARS! Torakichi you jerk, you didn't have to yell so loud"

"Yeah, well you were snoring! Loudly. Get your stuff together, we are almost there, I want to see that cousin of yours again." Torakichi said with a smirk

"Don't get any idea's Torakichi. She has a boyfriend!" Fujin said.

"Netto is a wuss, he isn't good enough for her."

"Yeah well we just landed so lets go." Fujin muttered as he grabbed his bags and put on his backpack. As they entered the lobby they heard a shout and turned to see who it was.

"Fujin" Meiru shouted at him and Torakichi. "Over here!"

They walked over to where she was standing, and she helped Fujin with is bags. Torakichi smirked at her as they walked towards the exit. "So how was your flight?" Meiru asked as they walked. Fujin was about to answer when there was a sudden explosion that sent them tumbling to the floor. Torakichi reached out for something to stop his fall. His hand grasped something as they fell,and Meiru screamed.

"Get your hand off of her ass!" Fujin said kicking him in the face.

"Sorry." Torakichi said as he stood up. "What was that explosion?"

"No clue but we should go check it out right." Fujin said before taking off "Let's go see if someone can tell us what happened.

"Netto, something is happening at the Densan airport. I just notified Enzan he is on his way." Meijin shouted.

"Right I gotta get going, I'll be back later." Netto said before dashing out the door and out side.

"Hikari let's go, Blues is driving." A voice called from a car that was parked out side SciLab.

"Hey Enzan." Netto said as he jumped into the car.

As soon as they arrived at the airport Enzna and Netto ran right in. "Hikari this way we need to find the main security panel." Enzan said looking at the signs and running towards the security room. As Netto chased Enzan down the corridors and turned a corner, he skated straight into Torakichi.

"Watch where you're going you little.... Netto?!" Torakichi said when Netto crashed into him knocking him down.

"Torakichi, what are you doing here?" Netto asked as he picked himself up.

"I came with a friend, cause' I wanted to see Meiru again."

"Hikari, hurry up we don't know what we're up against, this is no time to talk to friends." Enzan shouted back at Netto.

"Netto why the rush?"

"Business." is all Netto said chasing after Enzan. Torakichi took off after Netto "Wait up!" he shouted. As they approached the secruity room Netto noticed Meiru standing with some guy. "Meiru, you're all right," Netto said as he skated into into her arms, paying no attention to the guy standing next to her.

"Hikari, we are on Business so lets get in there and see what is causing this trouble." Enzan said opening the door..

"Hey you can't just walk in here like that, authorized personnel only." one of the workers said only for Netto and Enzan to display their Net Savior ID's. Torakichi pushed his way in behind them followed by Meiru's cousin. They rushed towards the main computer console and aimed their PETs at the sensor.

"Plug-in, Blues, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Rockman, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Kingman, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Mugen, transmission!" Fujin said.

"Blues, VariableSword, slot-in." Enzan said as he selected the chip. The group started attacking the army of Fishies and Powies . Kingman deleted two Fishies using his cross geyser attack, and Blues executed the elemental sonic boom with his VariableSword to delete a Fishy and a Powie, and nearly hit another navi.

"Hey, watch where your swinging that thing!" the strange light-colored navi shouted. The navi looked a lot like Bug Style Rockman but his outfit was a light yellow and the white specks from the bug frags were purple. Another distinguishing characteristic of Mugen was his blue skin. His emblem was Forte's with a green triangular slash mark in the oposite direction that it overlaped.

"Who are you?" Blues questioned as he parried a Fishy with his blade.

"Mugen," he replied. "I'm Fujin's navi... hey, watch out!" he yelled as a second Fishy and a Powie attacked Blues.

"Stepcross, slot-in!" Fujin said as he slotted in the chip. Mugen sliced the viruses in two with the quick strike.

"Thanks for the save, but watch out," Blues said as he sliced a powie that hung threateningly over Mugen's head in mid-attack.

"Now we're even, I guess." Mugen chuckled as he returned to the battle, back to back with Blues.

"Guess so." Blues got back into the fray.

"Shadow, slot-in." Fujin shouted as the chip was slid into the PET. Mugen went dark and charged up the shadow-stepsword to delete the last of the viruses. As he did so there was a loud laugh. Everyone turned in the direction of the laugh. There were two navis standing in the distance.

"Did you do this?!" Blues exclaimed. "Who are you? ANSWER!" he shouted angrily as the two navis smirked at him without answering.

"I am Crashman." one of the navis said. He had orange chest armor, boots, gloves, and helmet. His outfit was white, and he had a crash screen built into his helmet. His emblem was a drill with an explosion at the tip. His emblem was located on his chestplate and the sides of his helmet.

"And I am Burstman." said the other navi in a high pitched voice. He had blue chest armor, gloves and boots, and a black outfit. Burstman's head is similar to Gutsman's but has a cannon hole in the head, and his emblem is 3 yellow cirlces with black spikeballs inside. His emblem was on the center of his chest armor.

"Danger Wrap." Burstman said launching bombs from his head at Kingman, and Rockman.

"Crash Bomb." Crashman said as his hands turned into drills, he fired the drills at Mugen and Blues.

Kingman used a Rook for defense, and Rockman shot the bombs in midair, while hiding behind it.

"Santuary, Barrier 200, slot-in." Fujin said sliding the chips into the PET. The entire area around Mugen was covered in holy panels, and a barrier formed around him. The barrier stood strong against the first of Crashman's drill arms, while the second spun towards Blues.

"Too easy," Enzan muttered, "Area steal, followed by DreamSword, slot-in" Blues appeared in front of Crashman, then sliced at him with the program advance. Crashman quickly used his hovering ability to take the high ground and dodge the ground based sword attack. "He dodged The Program Advance!!" Enzan exclaimed.

Mugen laughed. "Areasteal...followed by Holy Dream." he said as soon as Fujin put the chips in. He teleported next to Crashman and aimed the attack up at his face. All the holy panels were absorbed to power up the Holy Dream, and it glowed with power.

"Aw Crap," Crashman exclaimed as the attack was launched.

Crashman logging out.

"Well done." Blues said as they ran to help out Rockman and Kingman.

"You too." Mugen replied.

Just as they got near Rockman he erupted in flames as Firesoul was ignited. "Let's turn up the heat!" Rock shouted as he attacked Burstman.

"Salamander, slot-in!" Netto said.

"Thank's Netto," Rockman said as the dragon appeared around him and it launched towards Burstman.

"Noooooo, the heat! I can't take the heat!" squeeled Burstman, "You'll regret this!" he yelled before logging out.

They plugged their navis out, then exited the room. "You can come with us to help the report, plus I think there is some one there that Meiru should meet." Netto said looking at Torakichi and Fujin. They didn't say any thing but followed Enzan, and Netto. Meiru followed behind Torakichi and her cousin just to keep her distance from Torakichi's hand.

When the arrived at SciLab Enzan started to give his report. Netto next to Chisao who was watching Dekao and me have a Net Battle. I pulled a chip from his pocket "Meteors, slot-in." as he used the chip meteors started to raindown open Gutsman who was having trouble dodging them.

Fujin and Meiru walked in and started to watch as well. I looked up at Meiru "Hi Meiru, my name is Mark, and this is my navi Blazeman." is all I said before I herd Blazeman shout for a defensive chip, I didn't act quick enough and Dekao wound up winning.

"My name is Fujin Sakurai, I am Meiru's cousin. Nice to meet you all." Fujin said itroducing himself to everyone.

"Well they probably got what ever they were after" I heard Meijin say to Enzan.

"Meijin any progress on the other project?" I asked

"Not yet"

When everyon was quiet Fujin introduced himself.

I can see you are not having much luck with this, it is a quality fic and quite unique. But still no one has posted about it or even read it. But don't let that disgurage you because this is quality work. Perhaps next time a better title or even a title at all would entice people to read your fic.

thanks, yeah I am having trouble thinking of a title and I have been spending time trying to get it better, I'll probably use the Japanese names instead of the dubb names in the final draft because of some of the characters like Nenji, who will probably make an apearance in the fic, I don't feel like calling him Fyrefox. And Manabe's english name I feel is dumb, Manwella.

I finnally saw the first ten episodes of stream so I have a better Idea on how exactly the Progress PET's chip system works so yeah it should be better in the long run.

Interesting, but the introduction of your character-from another world-just doesn't cut it, for me. Such a strange plot element, even if it is not supposed to be fully explained until the end of the series, should at least be given occasional mention throughout the fiction, but you seem to have ignored it as soon as the battles and meetings with the canon characters started.

Which is another gripe point. Even if your character is now in the EXE world, there is very little about him to indicate which world he originally came from, the point of view is unclear (and should not be; when the main character involved has such a strange back story, the POV should be his alone, in order for the reader to delve into his thoughts and reactions to this entirely new world around him, and get a better idea of his background and what the hell happened.), and his interactions with the canon characters, because he already 'knew' them from this other world, should be a bit more dynamic and with more reaction on his part. Instead, he just goes through the place greeting people as if he hadn't just seen them on his TV or GBA screen a day ago. I may be wrong, but normally people tend to be slightly amazed by the fact that they're suddenly in an universe with video game characters. >>;

Lastly, I get the feeling of not enough vehemency in the battling, purely due to the fact you don't seem to like using exclamation marks. But when most Navis attack, they don't remark the name of their attack in a bored tone-they shout it gleefully, angrily, whatever-but with power. When you use periods instead of exclamation marks for Navi attacks, it gives it a general sense of 'man-what-the-hell-am-I-doing-here-I-have-a-wife-and-kids-to-get-back-home-to'. Try exclamations for things which would be called out in the heat of battle-just don't overuse them.

And this is pure nitpicking, but I'm assuming that your character didn't fall a very long way from the sky? :P

thanks for the criticism, Still working on it, that is just the second draft. Like I said thanks for the comments. I seem to be half a sleep when I do work on it lately. Stupid heat and a bad heart don't work to well togather.

Thus the character development should be all the more visible, as this is the first chapter after the character's shifting of worlds, and his shock should still be apparent enough for some thought and description to be given over the matter. Suspense is not the same thing as ignorance. <<

I am currently reworking the first chapter, Nazne pointed out some things that were missing, things I had in my head but couldn't quite figure out how to put into words.

But when she pointed out those things I just some how figured out how to work in more details, of course I am not going to let my friend have to much work on this now, his constant complaining was probably why it isn't as good as I had in my head. But hearing that from someone I don't really know seemed to of some how triggered something

This fic is good, but things seemed to happen very abruptly. It was like 50 things were happening at once. I also found it kind of plain in the beggining, It just said out of the blue"suddenly a kid fell from the sky outside of Scilabs".That just doesn't cut it for me. Maybe you should have made a more epic entrance?

like I said I am retyping the first chapter right know, so yeah it should be a bit better and more cleaned up when I finish the new version of Chapter 1, probably mid day today it will be up, I have to get some sleep after all.

Chapter 2, Loss and Gain

Torakichi and me were at the table finishing our breakfast. "I wonder what those navis were after." I said after I finished eating. Torakichi finished and started to stare outside at Meiru's. "Torakichi, could you quit thinking about Meiru for a few minutes?"

"Of course I can, and about the navis at the airport I have no idea." Torakichi said no longer looking out the window.

I decided to go outside for a while, get some fresh air. As I opened the door someone was standing there with a letter. "Special delivery for Netto Hikari." the guy said.

"He is still sleeping. Could his navi accept it?" I said looking at the envelope I thought it was odd, with all the PET's for someone to send something via snailmail. But they guy did say it was a special delivery and didn't look too much like a postal worker but more like a cop.

"I don't see why not." the cop replied and I ran into Netto's room grabbing Rockman. I held Rockman up to see face to face with the person at the door.

"Plug me into the pad, I'll sign for it." Rockman said and I complied when I plugged him in I notice the name Saito Hikari, appear on the pad before he returned to the PET. "I'm sure that will do since mom and dad aren't home and Netto is sleeping." Rockman said as the cop handed me the envelope.

"Rockman why did you sign it using the name of Netto's brother? I know that you are his brother in a way, some of his DNA was converted to data and formed you. But why didn't you sign it Rockman?" I asked as I took him to Netto's room and tugged on Netto's ear to wake him up.

"What was that for?" Netto asked as he woke up and I tossed the envelope to him. He tore it open and started to read the letter. "A whole two weeks! TWO weeks of training in Sharo non-the less!" Netto shouted angrily after reading the letter.

"Two weeks training, you mean CF training. you'll be in Sharo for two weeks." I said looking at him trying to figure out why he
seemed so angry about the letter. That is when it dawned on me he figured that he'd been Cross fusion long enough he didn't feel he needed training. "Netto I guess any net trouble will be up to Dekao, Torakichi, Tohru, Fujin and myself right."

"Netto, look on the bright side, Meiru won't be anywhere near Torakichi for two full weeks so he cant try to do anything to her." Rockman said

"What where is Meiru going?" Torakichi shouted only hearing what Rockman said.

"Just to Sharo, with Netto." I said

"What them alone that is crazy it isn'r safe!:" Torakichi shouted

"Calm down they aren't going to be alone, Enzan and some others will be there but you, Fujin and me can't go."

A few hours later we were all sitting in the living room, Meiru and Fujin had just walked in. "So when is your trip?" Fujin asked Meiru, who was sitting across from him next to Netto.

"We leave today, it was definately a sudden notice." she said looking around the room.

"The three of us can handle things around here as long as nothing to bad happens." I said refering to Fujin and Torakichi.

"Dekao and Tohru will be able to help as well." Netto said

"Mark, you have an e-mail, it is from Meijin. Should I read it?" Blazeman said right as I was about to say something "Sure"

"It says to meet him at SciLab, he needs to talk to you about something."

"Ok, does it give a time?"

" It says imediately."

"Right Ok, hopefully you aren't gone by time I get back." I said as I left for SciLab.

When I arrived at SciLab I was greeted by Tohru, Dekao and Chisao. Meijin led us to straight to his lab. "I have something for you all. Since our Net Saviors are going to be out of the country on a two week training session, we will need some people to help the Net Police if needed." Meijin said as soon as we were all in his Lab, he walked over to his desk and opened one of the drawers.

"What kind of stuff do you have for us?" Dekao asked wondering why his brother's pressence was requested.

"First of all, for Chisao." Meijin pulled a black case from the drawer. " Something I am sure he wants, his own navi." Meijin said as he opened the case revealing a Silver Progress PET with pink accents. The emblem on it was a metal coil. This PET was slightly smaller than the normal model, probably due to the fact of Chisao being so small. "His name is Springman."

"Dekao and Tohru, here take these, they will act as temporary Net Savior ID's, giving unrestricted acess when the Net Saviors are away." Meijin said handing a chip to Tohru and Dekao. They slotted them into their PETs and the NetSavior ID was projected.

"Mark, Dr. Hikari told me to give you something more than a temporary Net Savior ID. He said something about your match with Tohru and your match with Dekao. Though Tohru was using aqau chips your and Blazeman's concentration pulled through and you won. You almost beat Gutsman if it wasn't for you losing concentration for that one moment." Meijin said as he handed me two chips, one was the same as he gave Tohru and Dekao the other I recognized as a Synchro chip.

"Hopefully I can successfuly use this chip." I said as I put the Syncrochip into my pocket, I slotted in the other chip causing my PET to display the Net Savior ID like Tohru and Dekao's did.

Suddenly an alarm filled the building. "Intruder in the main server, intruder in the main system!" a voice said over the alarm.

"Meijin where is the main server located?"

"Just follow me I take you four there." Meijin said as he ran down the hall. The four of us chased after him, it didn't take us much time to reach the room containing the main server. for SciLab. "Who ever got in is a great hacker, we have tons of firewalls, and other security measures." Meijin said staring at the server

"Plug-in, Blazeman, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Iceman, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Gutsman, transmission!"

"Plug-in, Springman, transmission!" Chisao said very estatically as he plugged his new navi in.

Springman's outfit was silver colored his gloves from the wrist up were coils, his helmet had a coil shape to it. He had springs where his boots should of been. He had pink stripes down the sides of his outfit His shoulderpads resembled springs and he had pink lines from them to the center of his chest where his emblem was. He stood in between Blazeman and Iceman as far as height was conserned.

"I take it you are Chisao's navi." Blazeman said looking at Springman.

"Yes my name is Springman, but I don't think we are supposed to be visisting." Springman said looking at a bunch of Mushies and Boomer viruses.

"Right lets see if we can find out who is behind this." Blazeman said as he used his Blaze Buster to delete some mushies. He jumped up onto a Boomer and shot down at it, he jumped from Boomer to Boomer doing this deleting them with ease. "Are you three going to help or not?"

"Wild Coils!" Springman said as his coils on his gloves started to glow and the light shot at a group of mushies turning solid in midflight. " Three down, alot more to go." he said as he started to bounce from Mushy head to Mushy head, shooting his Wild Coils at several Boomers.

"Save some viruses for us." Iceman said usign his Blizzard attack on a large group of viruses freezing them, and Gutsman deleted them with a single punch.

"Looks like there is still a lot of Viruses. Heat Body, Slot-in!" Mark said as he sent Blazeman the Heat Body chip. Blazeman's body erupted in fire as he jumped into a large group of Mushies deleting them effortlessly.

"Iceman use this, Ice Ball, slot-in!" Tohru said as he inserted the chip into his PET. Iceman tossed the small ball at a group of Boomers freezing them.

"Springman help him out, Bat Shot, slot-in!" Chisao said pulling a chip out of his pocket and sending it to his navi. Springman fired a sonic blast at the frozen viruses deleting them upon collision.

"One group left Gutsman. How about an Air Wheel. Air Wheel, slot-in!" Dekao said sending the chip to Gutsman who instantly sent it at the remaining group of viruses deleting them with its air blasts.

"So you four managed to defeat all those viruses, oh well you won't be so lucky against me." a navi said as it stepped into view. He was covered in a yellow outfit with green armor, His armor plating covered his torso, arms, his four legs, and most of his horse like body. The only parts that looked remotely vulnerable were his face, joints, and his underside. His helmet han a horn on it an his hair stuck out of the back like his tail which was golden yellow in color. His emblem on his chestplate was a horseshoe. "I am Centaurman, you can't possible stop me." He said whille laughing

"Or so you think. Program Advance, Heat Shotgun, tripple slot-in!" I said putting in the three chips.

Blazeman took careful aim at Centaurman not knowing what he was capable of, "Heat Spread!" he shouted firing the attack at Centaurman. The attack hit Centaurman square in the chest. Blazeman stared in amazement, his attack didn't seem to do anything at all. "I think that armor will make any attack that hits it useless."

"You're smarter than you look, but that doesn't matter you are going to loose!" Centaurman said gallopping towards the four navis. "I think you will like this, Centaur Flash." Centaurman's horn started to glow yellow then a bright light erupted from it stopping Iceman, Gutsman, and Springman in their tracks. "I think it is just you an me now fire boy!"

"Mark, I need a good chip quick!"

"I understand, Fire Blade, slot-in!" I said as I quickly sent Blazeman a Fire Blade

Blazeman ran at Centaurman keeping his eyes on the joints, unfortunately Centaurman kept anticipating his moves and gaurding all of his targeted joints. "Area Steal, slot-in" I said sending the chip to my navi, he disappeared and then reappeared above Centaurman aiming his blade at his opponent's neck.

Right as Blazeman was about to deliver the finishing blow Centaurman jumped around with amazing speed and aimed his hand at Blazeman. "Centaur Arrow!" his hand turned into a green crossbow shapped buster with at yellow arrow. Centaurman's shot was dead on, it hit Blazeman's emblem causing a crack to form in it, forcing me to plug Blazeman out while I still could. Centaurman ran over to a Blue sphere with red lightning shaped lines on it and grabbed it before logging out.

"Sorry bout that, guess that I wasn't as ready as I thought."

"That goes for all of us, we had no idea what he was capable of." Tohry said with a reassuring smile on his face.

"Chisao did great for his first Net Battle with Springman." I said as I patted him on the shoulder.

"You lasted the longest of us all." Dekao said to me.

"Meijin, here could you take care of him? I know he needs some repair, hopefully not too much." I said tossing my PET to Meijin. "I am sure that Torakichi or Meiru's cousin, Fujin could help out until Blazeman is repaired."

"It should take between two days at the most to repair him, lets just hope that we don't need to call on anyone. But I know that won't be the case, so if needed I will send them messages for help." Meijin said before taking my PET back to his Lab to start the repairs on Blazeman.

Chisao, Dekao, Tohru, and myself left shortly after the battle with Centaurman. Chisao was practically bouncing off of the walls of the building as we headed towards Netto's. Tohru was constantly trying to keep Chisao from tossing his PET to high, and Dekao was also trying to keep Chisao from accidentally breaking his new PET.

As soon as I got to Netto's Fujin and Torakichi were standing outside. "Meijin said that Blazeman was damaged. What happened?" Fujin said and Torakichi elbowed him in the gut.

"Can't talk about it. You don't have any reason, to know what happened!" I snapped at Fujin storming into Netto's room and throwing my self his bed and staring at the ceiling.

"Just let him be, his navi got injured he doen't want to talk about it." I heard Torakichi say when I glanced at the doorway seeing him blocking it keeping Fujin out of the room. "Just let him be, he might want to talk later but not now."

"Fine if he does want to talk I'll be next door!" Fujin said before leaving my view.

CH 3, Explosive fun

The day after the incedent with Centaurman at SciLab I was still keeping to my self I didn't talk to Torakichi that entire night. I sat on Netto's bed staring at the wall when I heard a knock on the bedroom door but I refused I answer it, I made a foolish move, I underestimated the opponents speed. "I don't want to talk to anyone!" I shouted when the person knocked again.

"Mark, you made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, there is no reason to be so down." Fujin said through the door.

"You weren't there you don't know exactly what happened so leave me alone!"

"Fine, I got a message from Meijin though, he said that tomorrow your navi will be fully repaired." Fujin said through the door.

"Meijin something is happening down the street, it looks like some sort of explosions. I noticed Dekao and Chisao running that way." Torakichi said as entered from the front yard.

"The school, Tohru is probably on his way. You two need to go now!" I shouted at them throwing the door open.

"What is going on?" Torakichi asked

"I'm not sure but since Blazeman is down for now, you two need to help!"

"Right, lets get going Torakichi!" Fujin shouted at Torakichi as he dashed outside and started to run towards the explosions.

Dekao and Chisao approached the school gates and noticed Tohru talking with Iceman trying to open them. "It's no use I think that whoever broke in overided the security and reprogrammed these gates." Tohru said when he noticed Dekao and Chisao were standing next to him.

Dekao reached out for the bars like he was planning on either climbing over, or forcing them them open. Tohru quickly hit Dekao's hand, "That isn't a good idea, Iceman told me that the lock has been overcharged or something, the gate is now electric and would probably kill us if we touched it." Tohru said looking around. He noticed Fujin and Torakichi running towards them. "Looks like more people to help but won't do us anygood if we cant get inside."

"Torakichi it looks like the gate is probably stuck, otherwise they wouldn't be standing there any idea's on getting in?" Fujin asked.

"A rook!" Tora shouted turning towards the corner of the wall.

"What do you mean?"

"Chess of course, a rook is the tower of a castle, a sentry point,high ground. The pillers of the stone wall are similar but much smaller, all we need to do is get on one, hope the wall in otherwords." Torasaid climbing a nearby tree and jumping to the top of the wall.

Tohru noticed what Torakichi did and glanced at fujin who was standing in the tree looking at Chisao. "Tohru give Chisao a boost to Torakichi. Dekao could have Gutsman try and unlock the gate so we can get out easily?" Fujin said before jumping over to where Torakichi stood, then he jumped down to the other side.

Tohru lifted Chisao up to Torakichi then climbed up the tree and jumped to the wall and jumped down to help Chisao down. "Torakichi lets go. We have to see who is causing the trouble." Tohru said as he ran to the school doors and walked in, he started to look from side to side trying to figure out where exactly to plug in. The lights in the main hall suddenly exploded, Tohru glanced at Fujin, and Chisao who had just entered. "We have to locate the main server for the school, before everything linked to it is destroyed, including the main gate!"

"Any Idea where it is?" Fujin asked

"One second, I don't personally know but I am sure they Meijin can tell us." Tohru said pulling out his PET, "Meijin, I need to know where the school's server is."

"Tohru, it should be located in the main staff room, that is what the current blueprints show." Meijin said as soon as he opened up the school's blueprints.

"Thanks Meijin." Tohru said hanging up and running towards the staff room."This way, it's in the main staff room." Tohru barged into the staff room and approached the server aiming his PET at it. "Plug in, Iceman, transmission!"

"Plug in, Springman, transmission!" Chisao said as he plugged his navi in.

"Plug in, Mugen, transmission!" Fujin shouted as he sent in Mugen.

"Plug in, Kingman, transmission!" Torakichi said

"Tohru, there are a lot of wood virus' in here." Iceman said looking at some Cactiki virus' and Boomers.

"So you think it is Centaurman?" Tohru asked

"I think so, he would know that Blazeman is out of commission right now." Iceman replied not noticing that Mugen was using his Sacred Vulcan on a group of Cactikis. Springman was using his Wild Coil to take out a group of Boomers. Kingman was using his chess pieces to take on several groups at once.

"Ice Cube, Bat Beam, slot in." Tohru said as he slotted the two chips into his PET. Iceman summoned an Icecube and sent it flying into an virus infested area, he then jumped up and fired the Bat Beam 3's sonic blast at the Ice Cube causing the blast to radiate outward and delete most of the virus' surrounding it.

"If it isn't two of the anoying navis that I stopped last last time we met. You are pathetic, and you have a shinny yellow navi, and a oversized chess piece with you." Centaurman laughed when he entered the sight of Mugen, and the others.

"That is Centaurman, he beat Blazeman. I believe he is a wood elemental navi that specializes in electric attacks." Tohru said.

"Sounds tough, but I think the four of us could handle him." Mugen said slightly laughing.

Fujin had a sly smirk on his face when he slotted in a chip with out saying a single word. "Guys, I only had one with me I hope it will be enough." Fujin said pulling out three other chips, "If he is as strong as you say Tohru, you guys should use these chips." Fujin said handing the other three NetOps each a Shadow chip.

"Thanks." Tohru said putting the chip next to the slot-in port. "These should come in handy, but we need to use it at just the right moment." Iceman used his Blizzard attack on Centaurman encasing his legs in ice. Springman followed up with his Wild Coils, and Kingman summoned a knight.

"Centaur Flash!" Centaurman shouted as a bright light erupted from his horn he let out a cry of pain. "What happend?"

"It is called Anti-Electricity. I think it is a very useful chip, along with this chip." Mugen said signaling Tohru and the other's to prepare the Shadow chip.

"Centaur Arrow!" Centaurman said as soon as the effects of the Anti-Electricity wore off. He aimed his bow at Iceman and fired it.

"Shadow, Slot in!" Tohru said causing Iceman to turn pure gray, the Centaur Arrow went straight through and headed straight for Springman, but Chisao slotted in the same chip along with Torakichi. The three of them started to charge up and use the step sword ability of shadow, hacking away at Centaurman.

"This is unfair, I wasn't expecting those chips to be used!" Centaurman said in pain.

"So what? You are the trouble maker, we don't care about what you were expecting." Mugen said aiming his Sacred Vulcan and firing it at Centaurman.

"I'll see you all later, but for now I guess I need to use something an associate of mine lent me." Centaurman said holding out his right hand, a chip appeared in it and he smiled. "Copy Data!" as soon as Centaurman said that the chip turned into light and shot a nearby data file. A small ball was now in Centaurman's hand, he glanced at it then logged out.

"He got a way!" Kingman shouted looking at the other navis

"So what lets take that data to Meijin. He could figure out what it is, and nobody got hurt." Mugen said calmly.

"Ok, Tohru I am going to take that file now." Iceman said as he walked over and grabbed the redspherical object. Tohru and the others plugged their navis out then walked out to the courtyard right as the gates opened. "Looks like it took Gutsman some time." Iceman chuckled.

"Iceman don't be so rude, you didn't have any luck opening the gates." Tohru said.

"Dekao we have to head to SciLab and give a file to Meijin." Fujin said earning a glare from Tohru.

"Actually you may of helped, but it is mine and Dekao's responibility to take the file to him, not yours!" Tohru said before setting of in the direction of SciLab, with Dekao following close behind.

Meanwhile Netto, Meiru, and Enzan had just arived in Sharo. Laika was waiting for them along the others. Yuuichirou and led them all to the Synchro Chip Research building. Meiru was glancing around, it was her first time there. "There is more than one reason for this two week training camp, the first is obvious training. Anyone have an idea about the other reasons?" Yuuichirou said looking around.

Nobody tried to answer, they all had a look of confusion on their faces trying to figure out the other reasons for the training camp. "Since nobody seems to have any idea, I wait till later before telling you." Yuuichirou said sitting down at a table. "Everyone please take a seat." Netto sat down across from his dad, Meiru sat down on his right and Jasmine on his left. Nenji and Dingo sat across from Jasmine and Meiru respectively. Laika and Pride sat down at the end of the table, near Meiru and Dingo, while Enzan and Charlie sat at the end near Jasmine and Nenji.

As soon as everyone was seated a scientist burst through the door. " First the airport, then SciLab, now Akihara Elementary!" the scientist shouted.

"What are you talking about?" Meiru asked

"The attacks, first there was an attack on the airport, then yesterdat SciLab, and today Akihara Elementary."

"Thanks for the information but I am sure that the group Meijin assembled can handle the trouble there. Please do not bother us unless it is on Meijin's orders."Yuuichirou said dismissing the scientist. "Now that he is gone, I can make a few announcements. "First of all, Enzan, you know one of the reasons other than training for this camp, why haven't you mentioned it yet?"

"You asked me for some advanced copies, I didn't think you wanted me to mention it since you knew I know one." Enzan said smugly. "But I will mention it now, the second reason for this camp is so you all get the latest PET model, you will recieve it later today or tomorrow."

" I am going to call Meijin, then we can start your training." Yuuichirou said as he stood up and walked over to a nearby console. "Meijin, you have the authority to request the aid of any Cross Fusion member."

"I feel they need the training and my group can handle it, I will call if I think it is urgent enough for any of them to help." Meijin said

"I'll have them all be ready at all times to be called in to action." Yuuichirou said

"Well the youngest member of my team is very skilled, I haven't given him an ID yet, and the back up for my team is very skilled as well. I doubt any of the Cross Fusion members will be needed, but it is good to have them prepared incase I do need one." Meijin said before terminating the call.

"We will train in a tournament format." Yuuichirou said smiling at everyone.

"But there are only nine of us how can we have a tournament with nine people?" Laika asked

"Another person will be ariving tomorrow." Yuuichirou said as he brought up an image of the nine navis present. "This will randomly choose 2 people to go against each other." with that the images vanishe and two blank squares started to flash with the images of the navis, the first image stopped on Roll, while the second stopped on Medi. "Meiru and Jasmine will be going against each other in the first match." when Yuuichirou said this Meiru and Jasmine shot each other evil glares.

The process continued and in the end the first round was Meiru VS Jasmine, Charlie VS Pride, Nenji VS Laika, Dingo VS Enzan, and Netto would fight who ever was supposed to show up the next day. "I don't even know who I am up against everyone else has an advatage, they can plan what chips to use based on their opponnents." Netto complained

"Well today there is only one match, and that is mine." Meiru said still glaring at Jasmine. Jasmine walked outside and Meiru just stood there spacing off.

"Meiru your match starts in one minute." Laika said noticing that Meiru was spacing off.

"Thanks Laika." Meiru said running out side and pulling out her PET .

"Ready your chip selection, the match will last five minutes, who ever lands more successfull hits will win." Yuuichirou said with his hand on the button to activate the Dimensional Area. Meiru and Jasmine both quickly slotted in some chips, and Jasmine readied her Synchro Chip.

"Rush, you know what you are supposed to do so do it!" Meiru shouted noticing that Rush was just sitting around doing nothing. Rush glared at her then transformed merging with the Synchro chip around his neck. Meiru snatched the chip out of mid air.

"Rush Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Meiru said as soon as the Demensional Area materialized. R Roll's hair was almost identical in style to Roll's but red with Meiru's hair style towards the top of it, the top part of her outfit was identical to Roll's, the only difference was she wore a dress instead of just a bodysuit.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!"Jasmine said as soon at the same time as Meiru. R Medi was also very close in apearance to Medi, she had medi's out fit, plus mittens and her hair stood like bunny ears.

"Roll Arrow, slot in!" R Roll shouted firing her arrow at R Medi who barely dodged it.

"Is that all you got? Medi Capsule" R Medi said as she threw two pills at R Roll, missing entirely.

"Aqua Tower, slot in!" R Roll slammed her hand down on the ground causing a tower of water to go straight for R Medi hitting her knocking her back.

"Mag Bomb, slot in!" R Medi threw a sphere at R Roll that hit her and caused her to stick to the ground. "Chemical Flash" R Medi said causing two capsules to apear near R Roll, the moved towards each other and collided exploding.

"Triple Arrow, slot in!" R Roll said aiming one of her hands at R Medi as it transformed into a bow and shot 3 arrows at R Medi, each one of them hit R Medi.

"Reset Bomb, slot in!" R Medi shouted tossing a bomb at R Roll who simply dodged it.

"Heart Slash!" R Roll said getting behind R Medi she launched her attack sending a bunch of hearts at R Medi, R Medi had no chance to dodge this attack and was knocked to the ground by it.

"Time!" Yuuichirou said disengaging the Deminsional Area. "By the looks of things Meiru had more sucessful hits than Jasmine so that means Meiru advances and Jasmine does not."

"What, that isn't fair!" Jasmine shouted.

"You this is just for the first few days, it is to make the training different." Yuuichirou said.

Ch 4
Cross Fusion Fun

Tohru left the data file with Meijin to try and figure out what it was. The next day he called us all to SciLab he said he had deciphered part of the file. He also said that Blazeman would be fully repaired shortly. We all headed to SciLab as a group around noon.

"It isn't exactly an important file. I think it is a clue." Meijin said as he examined the data file Iceman had obtained.

"What does it say?" Tohru asked

"With the keepers of fire, electricity, magic and color." Meijin said "That is all I have been able to crack so far, the code seems to change every sentence, must mean it is about some thing important." Meijin added still trying to translate the rest.

"Keepers, could that mean Net Ops?" Fujin asked looking around.

"Possibly, so With the Net Ops of Fire, Electricity, Magic, and Color. What does that mean?" Tohru said

"I think I have an idea. Maybe keeper isn't refering to a Net Op, but a navi that uses that, for example keeper of fire, could be a fire navi." I said leaning against a wall.

"Good idea mark but a navi that uses magic, or a navi that uses color. I can't really think of more than one each. So maybe you and Fujin are right, maybe it is refering to Net Ops who have navis who not only use those but are those." Meijin said turning away from the screen.

"Hinoken is the keeper of Fireman, while Count Zap is the keeper of Elecman. Mahajarama is the keeper of Magicman, and Maddoi is the keeper of Coloredman. Am I correct in assuming that the former members of WWW probably have what ever the file is refering to?" I said looking at Meijin who nodded his head.

"Fujin, Torakichi, and Dekao, the three of you can go to Maha Ichiban and see if they have anything odd. Tohru, Chisao and Mark will stay here. We will do some more research." Meijin said

Torakichi and Dekao started out of the building and as Fujin walked past me I grabbed his arm. " I have a feeling that you might need some help, since Blazeman won't be fully repaired for another hour or two. So you should use this if needed." I said handing him my Synchro Chip.

Dekao walked in to Maha Ichiban followed by Torakichi and Fujin. "Hinoken, do you guys have any thing unusual?" Dekao asked displaying his Net Savior ID. Hinoken and Madoi were sitting at a table on break, Mahajarama was standing at the cash register with Count Elec standing next to him.

"What do you mean unusual?" Hinoken asked.

"We aren't sure but we are trying to find something that we believe has been put in your care." Fujin said

"And you are?" Madoi asked

"Fujin Sakurai, Meiru's cousin, and that is Torakichi Aragoma." Fujin said introducing himself and Torakichi.

"Nice to meet you." Madoi said before heading to the storage room when the lights suddenly went out.

"What is going on?" Torakichi asked

"No clue maybe we should jack in and see if there is a problem." Fujin suggested.

"Good idea." Count Elec said as his out light bulbs lit up, Hinoken and Mahajarama imediatly plugged their navi's in followed by Fujin, Torakichi, and Dekao who told Madoi and Count Zap to stay out of it.


Gutsman, Mugen, Kingman, Fireman, and Magicman looked around, there was no virus in the system not a single one. "Fujin, I don't see anything wrong." Mugen said when he noticed a arrow flying straight at Kingman. Suddenly a Rook apeared infront of Kingman and the arrow destroyed that.

"That was close, almost didn't slot it in quick enough." Torakichi said surprised that Kingman was almost hit.

"That arow was glowing yellow, just like Centaurman's." Mugen reported.

"Where is he I can take him!" Gutsman said pounding his fists together.

"I am right here, Centaur Arrows!" Centaurman said stepping into view and firing three arrows. One of the arrows hit Gutsman, another hit Fireman before he could do anything. The third was destroyed by, Mugen's Sacred Vulcan, and Magicman's Magic Fire. "Tell me where it is. Where did you hide it?" Centaurman shouted at Magicman and Fireman.

"What are you talking about?" Magicman asked.

"The file, where is it?" Centaurman asked again.

"We don't know what you are talking about." Magicman replied

"Then I will have to beat it out of your Net Ops." Centaurman said raising his hand as a chip apeared in it.

"You aren't Serious!" Kingman asked redied to attack.

"Neo Dimensional Chip, Activate!" Centaurman said before disapearing. He materialized in Maha Ichiban with a smirk on his face. "Tell be where it is or die!"

Fujin contacted Meijin as soon as Centaurman materialized. "Meijin, Centaurman just materialized in Maha Ichiban. I need..."

"No problem." I said before he could finish his sentence. I quickly keyed in location of Maha Ichiban and fired the Dimensional Area beams. "Hurry up, he is a quick navi, his weak points are his joints." I said with a smile on my face.

"What are you doing, why did you set up the Dimensional Area?" Meijin asked very angrily.

"I lent him my Synchro chip incase they needed help!" I answered and Fujin terminated the call.

Fujin slotted in some chips then smirked "Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" R Mugen's outfit almost Identical to Mugens but with purple lines instead of goldish brown. His gloves and boots now were solid instead of . His helmet gained the markings that R Rockman V2 has but blue and Purple instead of yellow and green.

"Everyone get back, leave him to me." R Mugen said running straight at Centaurman. "Anti Elec, slot in." he whispered trying to make it so Centaurman couldn't hear him. "Shadow, slot in!" as soon as R Mugen said this his body turned completly grey.

"Centaur Flash" Centaurman said trying to attack R Mugen, however his attack bacfired because of R Mugen's Anti Electricity. " That is unfair, that is the second time you used that against me!" Centaurman shouted as he started to gallop towards R Mugen. "Centaur Kick" Centauraman said jumping and turning in mid air kicking at R Mugen.

"You forgot about my Shadow chip didn't you." R Mugen said as he jumped back then used shadow's step sword. His Shadow wore of shortly afterwards.

"Centaur Kick" Centaurman said as he attemped to kick R Mugen again, this time sucessful but missing his emblem., but knocking him down to the ground.

R Mugen slowly stood up."Thanks for dealing so much damage, I can barely stand right now." R Mugen took a fighting stance, with his hand near his waist "Muramasa Blade, slot in!" with this a katana appeared at his waist and he quickly gripped the handle and rushed towards Centaurman.

"Centaur Arrow!" Centaurman said firing an arrow directly at Mugen who sliced it in half with the Muramasa Blade. R Mugen took another slice this time he sliced Centaurman's head of thus deleting him.

The Dimensional Area disengaged as soon as Centaurman was deleted and R Mugen returned to being Fujin. " That was a rough battle, I took quite a beating." Fujin said as he looked around the curry restraunt at the damage caused by the fight. "Guess that Anti Electricity wasn't that good of an Idea, I mean sorry about the tables."

"So about that file?" Dekao asked as Madoi walked out of the storage room, she had a small box in her hands.

"Take this, some lady gave it to us to take care of. She said that it must not fall into the wrong hands. I don't really know why she left it in our care though." Madoi said as she handed the box to Dekao. "Do not use that unless you want to lose your navi, that is what she told us."

"Thanks, Dekao, Torakichi we should head back to Sci Lab, we need to give that to Meijin." Fujin said as he started out toward SciLab

"Charlie and Pride's match will start in just a few minutes, followed by Nenji and Laika's. Dingo and Enzan's match will take place tommorrow along with the final match of the first round." Yuuichirou announced to everyone who was sitting at the table.

"Who is my opponent going to be dad?" Netto asked

"You will be up against someone who will arive later. She is a Pen Pal of Yaito's. I invited her here because she is a great Net Battler, and I visited her before aranging this get together and had Meijin set up the Dimensional Area. She Crossfused on the first try flawlessly. A natural just like you, Netto." Yuuichirou said.

"Dr. Hikari it looks like it is the time you set for the second match." Laika said looking at the clock on the wall.

"Thanks Laika. Charlie, Pride. The two of you please head out side and ready your chips. Five minute time limit remember that." Yuuichirou said.

"Dad why only two matches a day if they are only five minute matches?"

"Netto, the reason is the second round will have no time limits and this way we can't rush through the tournament in a couple days. It allows you to constantly think up strategies for your match."

Outside Charlie and Pride had already slotted in their chips and had their Synchro Chips ready to slot in as soon as the Dimensional Area formed. "Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" they said in unison as they slotted in their synchrochips.

R Knight had a long white dress. In one hand she held the base of the royal wrecking ball chain, in the other she held the middle of the chain. Her eyes were covered by Knighman's visor, and her hair wound up looking as solid as metal. R Gyroman looked nearly identical the only diferences was his face was Charlie's, his chest did not jut out much at all, and he had two halves of the propeller blades.

" How about we just say I win. That way I don't have to hit such a beautiful girl" R Gyro said smiling.

"No thanks, Kingdom Crusher!" R Knight said launching the wrecking ball straight at R Gyro he attemped to fly up in order to dodge the attack but it collided with him right between the legs.

He curled up in a ball both of his hands between his legs. "What was that for, hitting below the belt is not fair at all!" R Gyro shouted.

"You jumped, it wasn't my fault. I was aiming for your chest. It is your fault you got hit between the legs." R Knight said staring at R Gyro. "Are you going to get up? I don't want to hit you if you are down." R Knight said and R Gyro slowly stood up, once he got up all the way R Knight smiled "Wrecker, Slot in!" she said launching a wrecking ball at R Gyro who stepped back and was hit again in the same place.

"I guess you are tougher that I thought. You win because I am in too much pain to stand up right now." R Gyro said and Yuuichirou disengaged the Dimensional Area causing them to disengage Cross Fusion. Laika, and Enzan helped to carry Charlie into the building and they laid him down on the couch.

"Laika, you and Nenji have your battle in just a few minutes. Please get ready." Yuuichirou said as he went over to see if Charlie was all right. "Charlie should be alright."

Laika and Nenji stepped out side and slotted in some chips. "Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" they said in unison the second the Dimensional Area was set up. R Napalmman had Napalmman's cannons on his shoulders. His helmet was similarto gutsman with a orange circle on top. the rest of his armor was set up just like Napalmman's. R Searchman looked like Searchman with solid green insread of camo, he also had a orange visor and a larger version of the Scope Gun.

"Napalm Blast." R Napalm said as he launched bombs form his shoulder cannons.

R Search instantly activated his cloaking ability and dodged the blast barely. "Search Grenades!" R Searchman said tossing several grenades in the air which fell around R Napalm. When they exploded they didn't do much damage to him but did distract him. "Target Locked!" R Searchman said taking aim with his Scope Gun. "Fire" he sniped R Napalm before he had a chance to use a single chip.

"Good job." A blonde girl who just arrived said.

"And you are?" Laika asked coldly

"Mary Towa." the blonde haired girl said, her eyes were green and she had a light pink frilly dress on. She was wearing a Broach with a green ring on it.

"Ahh, nice to see you again Mary." Yuuichirou said as he stepped out side. "Meiru, could you take Mary's things to your room, the two of you will be bunking together."

"Yes, Dr. Hikari. Mary I'll show you to our room." Meiru said grabbing some of Mary's stuff and leading her into the building. She headed through the doors to the quarters, and the others stayed in the observation room.

"Mary is Netto's opponent. None of you should underestimate any of your opponents." Yuuichirou said to everyone who was left in the room.

Later after they all had dinner they headed to their quarters. Netto was bunked with Enzan, Laika was bunked with Charlie, Nenji and Dingo were also bunked together. Meiru and Mary returned to their quarters followed by Jasmine and Pride who were bunked together.

Ch 5
Trip to the Castle Country

Netto woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. "Netto get up or your dad will assume you are going to forfeit your match!" Meiru shouted through the door.

"What? Just a second let me get dressed." Netto said througing on his shorts and shirt, he dashed out of the room and down the hall forgeting his headband, vest, and his skates. "I'm not late am I?" Netto asked as he entered the main room. Everyone was eating breakfast and looked up at him with a confused look on their faces.

"Had to say something that I knew would get you up. Enzan said he didn't care if you missed breakfast or not it wasn't his job to wake you up." Meiru said walking into the room behind him.

"You what? Why didn't you just tell me I was missing breakfast?" Netto shouted

"I thought this would be more amussing." Meiru said with a smirk on her face as she walked over to the table and sat down. Netto sat down next to her and started to sample everything on the table.

"Enzan and Dingo's match is after breakfast and your and Mary's is after lunch." Meiru said as before she started to eat. As soon as everyone was done eating Dingo and Enzan headed out side and readied their chips.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Dingo and Enzan said when Yuuichirou set up the Dimensional Area. R Tomahawkman looked identical to Tomahawkman but slightly more built.

"Tomahawk Swing!" R Tomahawkman said swinging his large tomahawk at R Blues.

R Blues quickly used a "Area Steal, slot in!" he siad teleporting behind R Tomahawk,"Variable Sword, slot in!" R Blues' sword turned into a Variable sword "Sonic Boom!" R Blues swung his Variable Sword sending a slash wave at R Tomahawkman.

R Tomahawkman took the attack and turned to face R Blues "Totem Pole!". A three tiered totem apeared behind him shooting fireballs at R Blues.

"Fire Blade, slot in!" R Blues said turning his sword into a Fire Blade, he rushed at R Tomahawk dodging the fireballs from the totem pole, and slashed at R Tomahawk knocking him back. "Fire Sword, slot in!" R Blues said as he slashed R Tomahawk agian.

"Boomerang, slot in!" R Tomahawk said launching a boomerang at R Blues. "Gaia Blade." R Tomahawkman's hands merged into a large sword wrapped with vines. He swung the sword down at R Blues who easily dodged it and attacked with his wide sword. This attack caused R Tomahawk to terminate Cross Fusion making Enzan the winner.

"Mark, Meijin said that he got a call from some scientist. She said that she wanted to meet with us at SciLab today." Blazeman said.

"Ok thanks." I said as I finished eating breakfast. Me and Torakichi headed out side and met up with Fujin, Dekao, Chisao, and Tohru. The six of us headed to SciLab, Chisao leading the way. When we entered Meijins Lab a blonde female scientist was standing there waiting for us.

"My name is Ciel Tanaka, I am the creator of the Omega Project. A project to improve the abilities of Net Navi's, but unfortunately my partner wanted to use it cause mass caos. He wanted to take over with it so I seperated it and entrusted the different pieces to diferent places. Sci Lab had one which my former partner now has, and you have the part that was intrusted to Maha Ichiban." Ciel said introducing herself. She had long blonde hair, blue eyes, and wore a pink lab coat.

"Nice to meet you, I am Mark, this is Tohru, Dekao, Fujin, Torakichi and Chisao." I said introducing myself and the others. I walked over to one of the couches and sat down. The others also sat down in various places and Ciel walked over to a computer and brought up the image of the encrypted file.


"I am the one that made this file and it is desinged so one may only read the next part if the proper sequence is inputted. I think Meijin was able to figure out the first code, the second is scrambled on the chip." Ciel said opening the box containing the chip, it was pure green and she glanced at the back of it. "I will be able to decipher where the next one is shortly." Ciel said as her fingers flew across the keyboard.

"You said you made the file, shouldn't you already know where the next one is?" Tohru asked.

"I devided the parts among my assistants, and trusted friends. I told them to entrust them to people that could keep them safe, then list them in the encryption file as a clue. So I personally didn't hide any of them." Ciel explained.

"That seems like a smart move, one person knowing the locations of all the parts isn't a good idea because people can be easily persuaded." I said.

"Deep within a castle of great size. Within Cyberworld you will find the key." Ciel said reading the newly deciphered sentences.

"A castle of great size. Hmm, where is a castle of great size?" I said looking at Dekao and the others.

"This clue is actually rather simple, I believe I decoded it already." Meijin said from the back of the room. "Kingland, most of it is a castle, Yaito's castle."

"That make since Meijin, I hope that all the clues aren't as easy to figure out, I mean if so they might get the remaining pieces before us." I said

"But what about the whole encoded code?" Tohru asked.

"If the person after the project worked with Ciel then he probably has a good Idea on how to guess the proper codes, or is an expert hacker." Meijin said.

"So who are you sending to Kingland?" I asked

"Fujin, you executed cross fusion perfectly, you can go incase a Dimensional Area is needed, Mark you and Blazeman can go as well, the third person I will send is Tohru. The reason I am sending Tohru is because he is one of Yaito's friends and would have a better chance of getting into the castle with him or Dekao, I don't think sending Chisao overseas is a good idea." Meijin said tossing me a Synchro Chip. "This might come in handy. There is a Net Savior Helicopter outside, I am sure that Mugen or Blazeman should beable to pilot it."

When we arived in Kingland Tohru walked up to the Castle and knocked on the door. " Hello there, what do you want?" the maid who answered the door asked.

"We are here to see Yaito." I said as me and Fujin walked up.

"May I ask who it is requesting to see her?"

"Two Net Saviors!" I said as me and Tohru displayed our Net Savior ID's.

"Ok then one moment." The maid said closing the door. She came back a few minutes later and let us in, she took us straight to Yaito's conferance room. "These people wanted to see you, two of them are Net Saviors." The maid said before Yaito dismissed her.

"Tohru nice to see you and who are you new friends?" Yaito asked looking at Fujin and myself.

"My name is Mark, and this is Meiru's cousin Fujin." I said

"Nice to meet you, why did you come here?"

"We have a feeling that you castle might be attacked soon by an unknown organization." Fujin answered.

"As Net Saviors me and Tohru were sent to take care of what they are after." I said, then I let Tohru fill her in.

"Ok, I think I know what you are talking about. Please follow me." Yaito said leading us down several coridors. "This is the room that I think contains what you are after, there is a box in there that has a highly advanced electronic lock." Yaito said when we reached a door at the end on one of the many coridors we walked down.

"Where is the best place to plug our navis in? The key is supposed to be in the cyberworld." I said looking around. Yaito slid one of the tiles on the wall to reveal some plug in sensors.

"Plug in, Blazeman, transmission!"

"Plug in, Mugen, transmission!"

"Plug in, Iceman, transmission!"

"Plug in, Glyde, transmission!"

The four navis landed on a large circular platform, with nothing on the sides of it, the area had several other large platforms.
"I don't recognize this area." Glyde said looking around.

"I think this part of cyber space might be where the key is." Blazeman said.

"Maybe the clue contained a trick like the last one." Mugen said as he looked around the area, "Maybe this area doesn't just contain the key, but is a key to getting it. These panels might be like buttons, and have to be stepped on in a certain order so we can get the key." Mugen said still looking around.

"That sounds right but what order?" Blazeman asked glancing around. "Glyde could you fly over them and see if there is any Identifying characteristics?"

"I think I can, I am not sure if there is something to make the puzzle harder or not, like a barrier around the platforma that haven't been stepped on." Glyde said before flying of the panel and towards some of the others. "Bad news they seem to have barriers over them, execpt for the one directly in front of you.

They all jumped to the one in front of them and a number 10 appeared on the platform they stood on. "Glyde, what one know?" Iceman asked.

"I think I see the target point but there are somany different platforms, maybe the number 10 refers to the amount of moves we have left." Glyde said as he landed again.

"That would make sense, why didn't Meijin send Torakichi along, he would of been a great help, strategic mastermind when it comes to games." I said staring at my PET screen. "To the right, try the platform in front of you on the right hand side." I said and the navi's all jumped to the platform I mentioned, then the number 9 apeared on it.

"Straight ahead."Tohru said and the number 8 apeared on the platform.

"Straight ahead of us, the left platform should take us closer to what I believe is the target." Glyde said and the navis jumped to the tile. This continued for anothe 7 moves and they finally landed on a platform with a large hole in the center. A key floated up from it and Glyde reached out to grab it when a bubble hit his hand and exploded.

"Hello everyone, I'll take that." Burstman said from a nearby panel.

"Burstman, didn't I help teach you a lesson last time we met?" Mugen asked "Never mind, Sacred Vulcan!" Mugen started firing his vulcan at Burstman.

"That tickled, Danger Wrap!" several bubble's shot out of Burstman's head.

"I bet those are explosive." Blazeman said with a smirk on his face. "I bet my Blaze Buster will send him packing." Blazeman started to fire his Blaze Buster at the bubbles detonating them including the ones near Burstman, almost knocking him of the platform he was on.

"Danger Wrap!" Burstman said launching even more bubles, though these ones were a lot larger.

"Area Steal, Heat Body, slot in!" I said sending the data to Blazeman, he teleported behind Burstman, then he used Heat Body to encase his body in flames and he shoved his fist down the hole in Burstman's head.

"You idiot, this will delete you as well!" Burstman shouted. Blazeman jumped back a second later and Burstman exploded. Glyde grabbed the key and they all plugged out.

They entered the room and Yaito unlocked the box with Glyde's help. "Here you go, tell everyone I said hi, Tohru. "Yaito said as she handed Tohru the computer chip that was in the box. We headed back to the helicopter to return to SciLab.

"Netto it's time for your match!" Meiru said after she finished eating her lunch, "Mary is already out there ready to Cross Fuse."

"Ok just let me finish my curry!" Netto said as he tried to cram all of his food down his throat. He ran outside cramming food down his throat. He stepped out onto the field and lazily slotted in some chips.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Netto and Mary said at the same time as they initiated their Cross Fusion. R Ring had Ring's hair du but blonde, her dress was yellow and frilly, she had an orange stripe down each sleeve and on the sides of her dress, the end of her sleeves and above her boots where two horizontal blue stripes. Her emblem was located on her chest.

"Not bad looking, but I don't think that you can pack much of a punch looking like that. Yo-Yo, slot in!" R Rockman said lookng at R Ring, his hand turned into a yo-yo launcher and he fired a yo-yo at R Ring.

"This is about more than looks. Ring Rang!" R Ring launched some rings of of her hair, they flew straight at R Rock. Two of them hit the yo-yo stopping it in it's tracks. The other two slammed into R Rock knockingh him down then they all returned to her and reattached to her hair.

"You are a tough one, but I will still have no problem defeating you." R Rock said aiming his hands at R Ring."Program Advance! Wide Shot, tripple slot in! Super Wide Shot!" R Rock said as his hands formed two Wide Shot blasters then merged together into a Super sized one. He launched three strong blasts of watter straight at R Ring.

R Ring smiled and jumped up, "I am faster than that. Super Vulcan, slot in!" R Rings right hand turned into a gold vulcan and started to shoot at R Rock. Every single bullet hit him knocking him back. "Just so you can't use you final chip, I should of used this in the begining, Jealousy, slot in!" R Rign said as she fired a small light at R Rock disabling his final chip and knocking him down again as he was getting up.

"I still have one more thing I can use, Charge Shot!" R Rock said using his signature attack, a large purple blast shot straight at R Ring.

"Mag Bomb, slot in!" R Ring threw a purple bomb at R Rockman, when it collided it terminated Netto's Cross Fusion due to the damage delt to him.

"Good job Mary. Tomorrow is the first battle Royal match, it will determin who fights who next, and who doesn't fight." Yuuichirou said.

"So those who won will all fight tommorrow right?" Laika asked.

"Yes that is the setup. The day after tomorrow will be the second battle royal, everyone who lost their matches will fight in that one." Yuuichirou said. "You can go do what you want for the remainder of the day now."

Torakici, King of Strategies

"Netto still has 11 days till the training session is over. I wonder what kind of training he is doing." I said as I walked into Meijin's lab. "Ciel, any news on the location of the next piece of the Omega project?"

"I think that it will be a little while before we figure out the clue, Meijin said that he want's to be the one to try and decipher them from now on. That way he can be more confident on the whereabouts of the file." Ciel said

"How many parts are there Ciel?"

"They have the part that was here at SciLab, we have the part from Maha Ichiban, and Kingland. That leaves 3 more parts." Ciel said as she turned to face me.

"Ciel how much power would that project give a navi?" Torakichi asked, deciding to join in on the conversation.

"Too much."

"I think you should head to the hospital. I believe that is where the next part is." Meijin said as he stepped into the Lab from his office.

"Who do you want to go?" Ciel asked

"Torakichi, Fujin, and Mark." Meijin said as he tossed Torakichi a Synchro chip.

"Ok." I said as the three of us dashed out side and started to run in the direction of the hospital, relying on our navis for directions.

"Net Savior" I said as soon as the three of us intered the hospital. I explained to them why we were there and that we needed access to their main system. We quickly plugged our navis in only to come face to face with a large navi. He had blocky legs, arms, torso and everything. He had drills on his feet, chest and shoulders. The navi was primarily brown in color. His emblem was a large G with two brown drills pointing down drilling into the top of the G.

"I am Groundman, you are not going to divert me from my mission." he said in a malicious tone.

"Sorry we don't care about anything but stopping you!" Kingman said.boots, gloves, around his emblem and under his shoulder pads, had a black flame design.

"Let's show him what we are made of!" R Kingman said confidently. "Drill Arm, slot in!" R Kingman's hand turned into a drill and he slammed it into Groundman. "Knights attack!" R Knight said summoning two knights that jumped onto Groundman's drills disabling two of them.


"Speed Drill" Groundman said transfroming into a tank and firing his drills at the three navis. Kingman summoned two rooks two of the five drills. Blazeman and Mugen simple dodged the attack. However the attacks collided with a sphere behind them shatering it. "Fool's I wasn't aiming at you." Groundman said as he raced straight at them, they jumped to the side and Kingman noticed what he was after.

"Knights!" Kingman said summoning two knights that jumped up onto Groundman, jumping up and down to distract him. Kingman pointed at Mugen then the object infront of Groundman. Mugen understood hwat Kingman wanted him to do and jumped atop Groundman then over to the file grabbing it with ease.

"Looks like you failed Groundman!" Mugen laughed.

"I geuss that you are an Idiot." Groundman said as he turned into his humanoid form. "I can easily take that from you and then kill your Net-Ops." Groundman said as he fires his shoulder and foot drills at Mugen catching him off gaurd, Mugen lost his grip on the file and Groundman catched it right as Blazeman launched a series of blasts from his Blaze Buster.

The same type of chip that Centaurman used appeared in Groundman's hand. "Neo Dimensional Chip, activate!" he said suddenly materializing in the Hospital's lobby.

"Meijin, we need a Dimesional Area. Groundman has materialized in the Hospital." Torakichi said as Fujin and my self rushed to the lobby.

Torakichi was right behind us, he entered the lobby right as the Dimensional Area was set up. "Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fussion!" the three of us said in unison as we cross fused. R Kingman had Kingman's crown as the helmet with a clear white visor attached. His main outfit was black with the chess board design on the chest, and he also wore Kingman's red jacket.

R Blazeman looked nothing like blazeman, his outfit was dark red and black dezsigned like Aquasouls. His helmet was shaped like Aquasoul but with flames coming of the top of it. His gloves were dark red, at his wrists were his Blaze Buster's, how ever they only consited solely of the gold end near the fingers and a narrow blue section at the wrist. His were dark red, with black at the top surrounding a ruby colored gem. The area above the
"Good move Torakichi, you are a great strategist. Fire Tower, slot in !" I said as I slammed my fist into the ground sending a tower of fire at Groundman slamming into a drill.

"Sacred Vulcan" R Mugen said as fired his signature weapon at Groundman not doing much damage.

"You three aren't worth my time good by." Groundman said before he logged out. The Dimensional Area disapated and our Cross Fusions self terminated.

"We goofed of to much, tried to show off our cross fused forms." Torakichi said looking at me and Fujin.

"Well at least you were able to do some damage to him, more than Fujin or Mark." Blazeman said.

"What do you mean by that? It wasn't just me fighting, it is called Cross Fusion.Not Net-Op fighter mode!" I shouted at my navi.

"Yeah lets not make that mistake next time." Fujin said as he headed out side. "Mark you and Torakichi can deliver the report to Meijin, I am heading home." Fujin said yawning as he left.

"Meiru, Pride, Laika, Enzan, and Mary your match will start in just a minute, no time limit." Yuuichirou said as his fingers were setting up the Dimensional Area, all that was left was for him to activate it. They all stepped out side and slotted in five chips and readied their Synchro Chips. Rush Chip for Meiru of course.

"Rush Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Meiru said

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" The other four said in unison as they all cross fused.

"Wide Shot, slot in!" R Roll said as she fired a powerful blast of watter at R Knight.

"Air Hockey,slot in!" R Knightman said as she through a large hockey puck towards the guys, hitting the both of them.

"Mark Cannon, slot in!" R Searchman said as his hand turned into a shielded canon and locked onto R Ring and firing at her.

"Ring Rang!" R Ring said firing rings of hair at the others. These rings hit R Blues, R Searchman, and R Knightman. R Roll was able to dodge the attack.

"Roll Arrow!" R Roll launched her arrow at R Knight striking her emblem with strength.

"What happened to the chips I had selected?" R Knight asked.

"Side effect of Roll Arrow!" R Roll replied with a slight laugh.

"Kingdom Crusher!" R Knightman launched her attack at R Roll dodged it and it went straight at R Blues.

"Variable Sword, slot in! Sonic Boom!" R Blues said as soon as he noticed the giant wreaking ball. His Sonic Boom attack hit the ball just right causing it to fly back at R Knightman hitting her in the emblem and causing her to terminate cross fusion.

"Heart Slash!" R Roll said as she used her second signature move, sending a bunch of sharp hearts at her remaining opponents.

R Ring got hit by the attack."Elec Blade, double slot in!" she retailated with two blades of electricity. When the blades collided with R Roll's emblem her Cross Fusion was terminated and Rush decided to flee to the cyberworld. "Jealo..." R Ring tried to use her signature chip but R Blues' sword collided with her emblem followed by a blast from R Searchman's Scope Gun. The combined force caused her cross fusion to terminate as well.

"Looks like it is down to you and me Laika." R Blues snided.

"Shut up Enzan, this is a fight not a conferance. Mine, double slot in!" R Searchman swept his hand over the ground infront of him hiding 2 mines.

"Well then come and get me! Fan, slot in!" R Blues said summoning a fan to the field, it succed R Seach over both of the mines , dealing a good deal of damage to him. R Blues slashed at R Search the second he was right in front of him, this caused R Search to terminate his Cross Fusion.

"Good job Enzan." Yuuichirou said as soon as the Dimensional Area dissapated and Enzan stepped inside. "Everyone can go rest up, the final battle royal match is tommorrow."

The Party Crashers

A figure sat in a dark room with a few navi tubes in it. "Centaurman and Burstman are both gone. Groundman suceeded in getting that last piece of data leaving one left before we strike SciLab." The figure said looking at the navi's in the tubes. "Crashman will have to get the data this time. Groundman will act as a distraction attacking Sharo, the Net Saviors will no doubtly go to Sharo to stop him, that is when Crashman will attack." The figure instructed.

"But what if they divide their forces and some try to stop us?" Crashman asked

"Then you stop them what else!" The figure shouted.

"Netto are you all right?" Meiru asked noticing he looked a bit down.

"Not really, I mean this training is soo boring." Netto replied as he finished eating his lunch. "The match will be starting shortly I have to choose my chips wisely." Netto said as he started looking through the chips in his pockets.

"Netto, Charlie, Dingo, Nenji, and Jasmine, it is now time for your Battle Royal match." Yuuichirou said an Netto grogily walked outside and slotted in five chips, the others did the same.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" They all shouted as the Dimensional Area materialized and they cross fused. Suddenly Groundman appeared in the middle of the five cross fused navis.

"What are you doing here, how were you waiting for me?" Groundman asked in shock.

"Looks like an unwanted guest." R Blues said getting into attack position.

"He is crashing our super fun party, lets delete him!" R Tomahawk said.

"Nah, we should let him join in all of the Cross Fused games. Including beat up the unwanted intruder!" R Rockman said taking aim with his Rock Buster. "Charge Shot!"

"Good idea Netto, lets play with our new friend! Magbomb, slot in!" R Medi said as she tossed a small sphere at a drill.

"So we are counting this as part of the match right. I mean if one of us falls against him we are still counted out since we are letting him join in on the fun." R Gyro said lifting his arm and aiming it at the opponent "Tornado Arm!" a tornado shaped blast shot out of his hand and hit Groundman several times.

"Sure why not, makes the training funner. Tomahawk Swing!" R Tomahawk said swinging his large tomahawk at Groundman's back.

Groundman finally took his humanoid form, "Speed Drill!" he said shooting three of his drills at the R Rockman, R Medi and R Gyroman.

"Napalm Blast!" R Napalm said launching two decent sized bombs from his cannons, the blasts hit Groundman in the back knocking him forward into R Gyroman.

"Air Wheel, slot in!" R Rockman said throwing at large wheel at Groundman and R Gyroman hitting them with a strong wind attack.

Groundman transformed into his tankform and charged right at R Rockman. "Speed Drills!" he said fireing all five drills.

"Chemical Flash!" R Medi shouted as she tossed a red and blue container at Groundman that exploded causing him turn to face her.

"Air Wheel, triple slot in!" R Gyroman said throwing three wheels at Groundman.

"Speed Drills!" Groundman unleashed his attack on R Gyroman at the same time as the Air Wheels hit him causing him to be deleted and R Gyroman's Cross Fusion to be terminated.

"Looks like Charlie is out, now lets get back on track. Tomahawk Swing!" R Tomahawkman said as he swung his tomahawk at R Napalmman.

"Yo-Yo, slot in!" R Rockman said attacking R Tomahawkman.

"Medi Capsules!" R Medi shouted tossing a couple pills at R Tomahawkman, hitting him, R Napalm, and R Rockman when they exploded.

"Meteors, slot in!" R Napalm shouted causing several meteors to fall from the sky at everyone execpt him.

"Super Vulcan, slot in!" R Rock said as he started to shoot his opponents, after a few minutes of combined attacks R Napalman's Cross Fusion was finnaly terminated.

"Fire Punch, slot in!" R Rockman and R Tomahawkman said in unison attacking R Medi. The simolutanious attack caused R Medi's Cross Fusion to terminiate. Leaving R Rockman and R Tomahawkman staring each other down.

"Heat Body, slot in!" R Rockman said causing his body to be covered in flames and he slammed into R Tomahawkman terminating his Cross Fusion.

"The only two who do not continue in this tournament are Pride and Charlie." Yuuichirou said as everyone walked inside. " Tommorrow will be Meiru versus Nenji, Mary versus Jasmine, Laika versus Dingo. Then we will finish the day with Netto versus Enzan." Yuuichirou anounced the pairings for the next round.

"Hehehe, no trouble yet, this is easy, the file is right infront of me and no signs of any security navis anywhere." Crashman said somewhere in the cyberworld, he approached a red sphere and grabbed it setting of seveal alarms. "Looks like I have to get going, I'll let them know who was here though." Crashman said as he tossed a sphere with his picture in it on the ground and logged out.

"Some one just infiltrated a Ameroppa military base and stole something. Something I think we wanted, the security navis found a sphere with this image in it." Meijin said bringing up the image of Crashman.

"That is Crashman, he was one of the ones that caused the incidents at the airport when me and Torakichi flew in!" Fujin shouted recognizing the image.

"That means there is only one part left to find and I bet they know where it is." Torakichi said looking at the screen.

"Guys I am getting an odd reading in the area of a local film company." Meijin said looking at his map.

"Torakichi, Dekao, and Chisao you three can go check it out. I'll send the others if needed."Meijin instructed.

"OK." Torakichi said as he downloaded the map into his PET.

"What the!" Chisao said staring at the navi before them, he appeared to of been made of water. He had a stick like figure with in all the water, aparently his frame work. His color was a translucent dark blue. He was hunched over, his body wasn't too defined being made of water. His emblem was above his frame works, right where his forehead would be, it was a tidlewave on a light blue background.

"My name is Waveman. I am the second general of the D.A.r.Q." Waveman said introducing him self.

"The what?" Chisao asked.

"Dark Army Quintet. Centaurman was general number four and Groundman was our third general. Our army consists of a decent amount of dark navis, solo navis, normal navis, and the five with Net-Ops are The Quintet. They are stronger than any of the generals including general 1, Sol. And Sol is the Strongest outside of the Quintet." Waveman explained.

"I doubt your leader wanted you to tell us the name of another navi in your group. Why are you here?" Dekao asked.

"To get the data, but unfortunately I already grabbed it before you got here. So I think you'd want to know who was going to destroy you!" Waveman said as he swung his arm down at them.

Suddenly a Dimensional Area appeared around where they were. "Mag Missiles" A voice said as two magnets flew at Waveman knocking him back. "Sorry for crashing your party but you kids looked bewildered." R Magnetman said as she stepped into view.

"Shadow Flame!" R Shadowman attacked from behind Waveman then lept over him landing next to R Magnetman.

"Needle Cannon! I wonder where Hikari is, should he be here?" R Needleman said as she appeared and attacked Waveman who was trying to get up.

" I take it you didn't know about Netto's vacation in Sharo." Torakichi said as he readied his Synchro Chip. "Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!"

"Why would he take a vacation in Sharo?" R Magnetman asked

"It is more than a vacation, it is practice!" R Shadowman said

"Lets just kick this freaks ass!" R Kingman not wanting Waveman to escape. The four navi's surrounded Waveman and readied to attack. "Knights!" R Kingman said summoning two knights to attack the water navi.

"Mag Ball!" R Magnetman said throwing a large ball at Waveman electricuting him.

"Kawarimi Magic!" R Shadowman said throwing several shurikens at a stunned Waveman.

"Tripple Wave!" Waveman said launching three tidle wave, one hitting each of the navi's except for R Needleman who jumped to get Chisao and Dekao to safety. "Good bye!" Waveman said logging out.

"You failed Waveman, some general you are, telling them about us, you may of got the file but I am going to have to delete you!" the dark figure said.

"No not that please I wasn't thinking striaght." Waveman pleaded.

I can't keep unloyal generals." The figure said as he pressed a button on his arm rest deleting Waveman.

"Tesla, Miyabi, Yuriko, nice to see the three of you. You may of been party crashers but it was welcomed, we now know what the organization we are up against is called and our temporary Net Saviors are still alive." Meijin said as the three adults escorted Torakichi, Chisao, and Dekao to Sci Lab.

"We were just passing by and noticed that navi and no Dimensional area or Rockman so that is why we contacted you." Tesla said before turning and waltzing out of the building followed by Yuriko and Miyabi.

"Nice people not!" I said looking at Ciel. " They have four and we have two they will probably attack here right?" I asked

"Indeed but the question is when." Ciel said.

"Soon I bet!" Meijin said joining in on the conversation.

Sol's attack.

Ch 8
Sol's Attack

"Sol shall attack later today, so when she succeds we will have all of the omega project." The dark figure said to his underlings.

"Groundman encountered Net Saviors in Sharo, they are capable of Cross Fusion. I believe that if we attack while they are gone we will suceed but they will probably be called here to fight us imediately afterwards." said one of the people knealing infront of the dark figure.

"Yes I am aware that Sol might be defeated after getting us what we seek. That however is a chance we must take. Our dark progs have been keeping an eye on things in scilab. It is their job to notify us when there are no Net Saviors in the building." the dark figure said as a 3D image of some evil looking Mr. Progs apeared.

"Master, the temperary Net Saviors are not here yet." one of the progs said.

"Now might be the best time!" another said.

"Good, Now Sol you know what to do." the figure said looking at an elegent red navi.

"I think you, Chisao, and Torakichi have earned the rank of Tempory Net Saviors." Meijin said to Fujin handing out three ID chips.

"Thanks Meijin." Chisao chimmed in when the Lab door flies open and the pinkish red navi stepped into the room. She had pinkish red boots, gloves, helmet, legarmor, and breastplates. The tops of her boots, and the wrists of her gloves were red. she had wings that resembled Rockman Roll Soul's antennae.

"Who is that?" Torakichi asked.

"I am the one who will stop you! I am the first general of D.Ar.Q my name is Sol." The female navi said raising a hand at them.

Meijin jumped to a panel and hit a red button. "Torkichi, Fujin NOW!" Meijin shouted as the satelites dishes created a Dimensional Area.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Fujin and Torakichi said as they cross fused.

"Oh, fancy, fancy costumes, that doesn't scare me one bit. Sol Crusher!" Sol said tossing a large ball of fire at R Kingman and R Mugen, knocking the both of them down.

"Knight! Pawn!" R Kingman said summoning a knight and a pawn to help fight Sol.

"Sacred Vulcan!" R Mugen said firing his main weapon at Sol.

"Fools, I am no weakling. Sol Blade!" Sol said as her arm suddenly burst into flames, she swiped at R Kingman's chess pieces destroying them then she slashed at R Mugen.

"She is definately tough." R Mugen said slowly standing up. "Program Advance! Vulcan, tripple slot in. Mugen Vulcan!" R Mugen said aiming a vulcan at Sol and firing twenty-eight powerful shots in rapid sucession at her causing her to fall backwards.

"Check Mate!" R Kingman shouted jumping up into the air and soaring at Sol. His boots merged togather and he slammed into her knocking her over.

"Dark Progs!" Sol shouted summoning some Black Mr.Progs.

"What are those supposed to do, head but us?" R Kingman asked laughing.

Sol ran over to a near by panel and ran her fingers over the keyboard. "Actually there supposed to defeat you!" Sol said as the dark progs started to glow and fly at R Kingman and R Mugen shocking them. "Don't forget them." Sol said pointing at Chisao and Meijin. Some of the dark progs flew towards Meijin and Chisao who were running to escape the shocks.

Sol continued to run her fingers across the keyboard and a disk finnally popped out. "Looks like I am pretty much done here, now to get the remaining piece." Sol said tossing things around looking for the chip.

"Life Aura, Omega Chip, slot in!" R Mugen shouted as an aura destroyed the dark progs around him. "I think I just used what you are looking for, Sacred Vulcan!" he said before firing his Sacred Vulcan at Sol, it asorbed his Life Aura increasing it's own strength.

"What!" Sol screamed as the vulcan shots hit her sending her through the wall into another part of the lab. She looked over next to her to find an open box with a green battle chip in it. "Thanks you idiot, you just gave me what I wanted. You didn't use the chip because I just grabbed it." Sol laughed and lifted her hand. "Sol Crusher!" Sol said as she fired a large fireball at the Dimensional Area generator dishes, destroying them. "Just so you know my first stop was those trucks." Sol said right before she logged out.

I arrived at SciLab with Tohru, and Dekao right as the Dimensional Area faded. We ran through the halls of SciLab and barged into Meijin's lab. "Meijin what happened?" I asked as I entered the room.

"They have the files." Fujin said as he got up. "And our best weapon is destroyed. Sol destroyed the trucks and dishes, we can't create dimensional area's until they are repaired."

"Heart Slash" R Roll said as she launched her attack finishing of R Napalm.

"Next up is Mary versus Jasine." Yuuichirou's voice said as Meiru and Nenji walked inside.

Suddenly the doors burst open and three people walked in. "There you are Hikari, what are you doing taking a vacation when Japan has been under constant attack?" Yuriko asked in a rude tone as she led Miyabi, and Tesla into the builing.

"Yuriko, Miyabi, Tesla what are you three doing here? I don't know what you are talking about, I haven't heard anything about Japan being under attack!" Netto shouted.

"We came to see what you thought was more important then protecting Japan." Tesla said.

"He didn't know it was under attack, non of them did. I kept that from him so they wouldn't be distracted during their Training." Yuuichirou told the three new arivals. "The group Meijin assembled have been doing well enough."

"Dr. Hikari." Meijin's voice boomed from the screen in the background.

"What is it Meijin?" Yuuichirou asked.

"I am ordering everyone currently with you to return to SciLab. We need the Dimensional Area Generators repaired and every single ounce of help we can get, the D.A.r.Q has all the files of the Omega Project. Plus SciLab is in bad shape." Meijin said getting everyone's attention.

"This just happened, right Meijin?" Yuuichirou asked.

"Indeed, you must hurry up and test everyone now, then return to Japan." Meijin said with a very serious expression on his face.

"Ok, Enzan, get the stuff set up for the testing imediately. The performance of Princess Pride, and Charlie means they will not be testing for I find it highly doubtful that they will suceed. we will do testing starting with the last standing in the battle royals." Yuuichirou instructed.

"Yes sir." Enzan said tossing Netto a new Synchro chip. " This chip is an advanced version of the Synchro chip so it can be very dangerous." Enzan said as he walked inside a small chamber followed by Netto.

" I am activating the test chamber now. If you pull of Cross Fusion with the new Synchro Chip you can keep it." Yuuichirou said closing the door and turning on the moniter.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" Netto and Enzan said in unison. The display would not show the looks of R Rockman or R Blues just successful or unsucessful.

"Looks like the both of them were successful, the next two to enter will be Dingo and Laika." Yuuichirou said as he opened the door and Netto and Enzan stepped out. Dingo and Laika grabbed the new chips and walked in.

"Synchro Chip, slot in! Cross Fusion!" this time only Laika was sucessful with the new chip and when they exited Dingo looked diapointed.

"Dingo the Synchro chip V2 takes more concentration and synchronization with ones navi to work. You are still a great kid." Meijin's voice said from the screen. "Mary, and Jasmine you two are next." Meijin said instructing them into the chamber. Unlike with Netto and Enzan both of them were unsuccessful.

Meiru and Nenji cautiously stepped into the chamber. Meiru was very nervous being the only one their that until now used the Rush Chip, However in the end she was successful and Nenji was not.

"Good Job. What about us though?" Miyabi asked.

"I think we should focus on getting back to Japan, we can let you three try when we get SciLab repaired. That is why we tested them now, this was their training session and we wanted them all to succeed in the end but with very little of it completed I am surprised any of them suceeded." Yuuichirou said.

"Sol, you wasted to much time. Plus you failled to destroy those who opposed you why?" the dark figure said

"Please forgive me master, I made it so they cant fight us in the human world." Sol said

"They can repair that, I thought you would of figured out that SciLab is called that becuase it is a Science Labratory. Scientists work there!" the figure said angrily.

"Please don't delete me!" Sol begged.

"I think I will delete you. You didn't complete you mission so in my eyes you failed, and I can't have generals that fail me!" He shouted as he hit the switch to delete her.

Netto and co. arrive at SciLab to find a huge hole in the wall and a large amount of rubble. A member of the Quintet shows up to slow the repair of the Dimensional Area generators.

Enter the Quintet's Child

"Meijin, what is the current status on the dishes?" Yuuichirou asked as soon as he arrived at SciLab.

"Not good, some of the parts needed will be hard to get." Meijin said looking at the inside of one of the dishes used to set up the Dimensional Areas.

"What about our PETs? From the looks of things they contain most of the stuff needed for the repair. Sure there will be somethings that can't be repaired by using PET parts." Enzan said looking at another dish.

"Yes but you need your PETs." Meijin said glancing at Enzan.

"Hikari, Laika, come with me ok! Sakurai you can come with us if you like." Enzan said as he climbed down and headed into the main building. He ran straight to Dr.Hikari's office and sat his briefcase on the table.

"Enzan what are we doing in here?" Netto asked noticing Enzan set his PET in a holder on a nearby consol.

"You will see." Enzan said as he opened his Briefcase and sat something in a slot next to his PET. "Transfer navi data now!" Enzan said as he hit a button between them then pocketed his new PET.

"Your giving us new PETs! Thank you so much." Netto said estatically as he sat his PET in the same slot that Enzan did after removing Enzan's ofcourse. Enzan took over the process and handed the other three their new PET's.

"These are not necessarily new PETs but compact versions of the PET 3s. We call them PET 3.5s and there are going to be available to only a select few. As you can tell each have a number on them showing that they are official limited edition PET's that can only be issued by me." Enzan said pointing to the 01 on his PET. Netto's had 02, Laika's 03, and Meiru's was number 04.

"What about the new Synchro Chips?" Netto asked.

"Let me explain the six different Synchro Chip types. The first is the original which Netto, Tesla and myself have. The second type is the Dark Synchro Chip, used by Yuriko and Misaki. Then there is version one type two, that is the type of Synchro chip made for the PET 3s. Then Meiru had a Rush Synchro Chip. Recently Yuriko, and Dark Miyabi recieved Synchro Chips from Dr. Wily, we call those Wily edition." Enzan said looking around trying to make sure that the three were paying attention. "The newest ones are Synchro Chip V2, but I don't think we should use them till later. The reason is because we don't know the full extent of it's power." Enzan said grabbing the older PET's and heading outside.

"Meijin, we have PETs for you to use." Netto said as he climbed up to the dishes followed by Enzan who had the PET 3s with him. "We have 3.5s now so we dont need the 3s!" Netto said excitedly.

"Thanks, Netto me and your dad will take it from here. You and your friends should head home." Meijin said taking the PETs from Enzan.

Netto, Torakichi, Fujin, Meiru, Dekao, Tohru, Chisao and myself started to walk to Netto's house to have some sort of party when a kid in a long purple cloak stepped out infront of them. " I am The Child, Keiichiro. Normally I'd ask you a few jokes before doing anything, but I was told not to this time." The cloaked figure said throwing a series of purple balls at Netto and the others. The balls exploded releasing laughing gas. This caused the group to start laughing for no real reason. "This will be easier than I thought, if they are laughing they wont beable to cross fuse and fight me. Should we try and NetBattle or should I cross fuse and kill you?" Keiichiro said staring at the group of laughing people.

"Let's Net Battle. Plug in, Blazeman, transmission!" I said doing my best not to laugh, I aimed my PET at a near by sensor and plugged my navi in.

"Plug in, Clownman, transmission!" Keiichiro said as he plugged his navi in. Clownman stood as twice as tall as Blazeman, his outfit was primarily purple. His legs and arms had blue horizontal stripes. His face was purple and he had a large blue nose. His emblem on his chest was a Purple C with a blue ball in the center.

"Your navi is funny looking, but I will take him down." Blazeman boasted.

"Your Net Op won't be much help he is laughing up a storm thanks to my special Laughing bombs." Clownman said.

Chisao reached over and hit a few of the buttons on Netto's PET, Meijin's Charlie's picture suddenly apeared. "What is it Netto? Chisao why are you using Netto's PET?" Charlie asked and Chisao started laughing again. "Why are you laughing Chisao what is so funny?"

"Laugh...ha ha ha... ing... ah ha ha ha... gas...ha ha" Chisao said.

"Ok I'll get some masks and head to your current location imediatley." Charlie said before ending the call.

"Clown Bomb!" Clownman said tossing the a bomb at Blazeman who simply dodged it unable to use chips because I was laughing so hard.

"Blaze Sabre!" Blazeman shouted as his buster shot flames out and formed a saber shape around his hand.

"Rock Drop!" A voice called out causing several stones to fall ontop of Clownman.

"Knightman!" Blazeman shouted noticing that help arived.

"Gyro Cutter!" another voice said as soon as Clownman climbed out of the rubble. The blade slammed into his back knocking him down face first and Blazeman ran up and stabbed him in the back.

"Gyroman, good to see you." Blazeman said when he noticed that Gyroman was standing behind Knightman.

"You won this time but not on your own. There are four others that are even stronger." Keiichiro said before plugging Clownman out and running off. The purple laughing gas faded and everyone stopped laughing.

"He got a way and we never saw his face." I said when I plugged out Blazeman and turned to see Princess Pride and Charlie standing near Netto.

" He must of been one of the Quintet." Fujin said as he stood up. "But why did he attack now?"

"He was probably sent to catch us off gaurd and draw more people away from SciLab so the repairs would take longer." Netto said as he stood up.

"But that is why Meijin only let two of us go. That way their would still be plenty of people working on the dishes." Charlie said looking helping Meiru up.

"I think he said he could cross fuse." I said looking at everyone.

"How though, with out a Demensional Area?" Pride asked.

"I think that DArQ might have Demensional Area Converters. We wouldn't expect them to set up a Dimensional Area, especially after destroying our stuff. We'd probably be caught of gaurd for a second then they could seriously injure us." Fujin said looking around.

" He said he was the Joker, Keiichiro. I didn't find him funny in any way at all." Dekao said.

"You should head home, we will report what happened to Meijin." Pride said as Charlie and herself walked back towards Sci Lab.

Netto sat on his bed, Torakichi and myself on the floor. " He was definately a strong navi, he just didn't want to show his full power." I said

"Why do you say that?" Torakichi asked.

"Because he was playing around and didn't seem like he was being serious." Blazeman said.

"Netto you should get some sleep. We'll let you know when dinner is ready." I said as me and Torakichi exited the room.

"Meiru, how was your training?" Fujin asked sitting on the couch.

"It was ok, but some navi interupted the second battle royal match. And Meijin called off the rest of the training because of the whole incedent with SciLab." Meiru said as she flipped through the TV channels.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Fujin asked.

"Ciel, I need to speak to Fujin and Meiru." a voice said from the other side of the door.

"Enter Dr. Ciel." Fujin said as he jumped to open the door. Meiru, this is Dr. Ciel, she worked on the Omega Project before any of it was stolen. Dr Ciel this is Meiru, my cousin." Fujin said introducing the two.

"The Quintet has made their first move, you have met the lowest member of the Quintet. I am sure that he will be back and stronger next time you fight him so it is critical that you do your best next time you come across a member of the Quintet." Ciel said as she stepped into the house.

"Ciel why did you come by?" Fujin asked.

"The generators will be fixed late tonight but since there are two generals that you didn't defeat we want a couple Net Saviors at the dishes at all times. You have the first shift with Enzan, then Meiru and Jasmine." Ciel said

"What, why me and Jasmine?" Meiru asked outraged.

"The rivalry between you will mean that you wont be dozing off. I am here to pick up Fujin and take him to SciLab, then later Dr.Hikari or my self will swing by to pick up Meiru and then bring Fujin home." Ciel said and Fujin grabbed his PET and smiled at Meiru before following Ciel to her car.

"We need to tell Meijin what happened." Charlie said as him and Pride neared SciLab.

"You aren't going any further. You were not supposed to intervine with my match!" Keiichiro said stepping into view.

"We don't remember having to do what you say." Charlie said

"Maybe I should take the princess with me. My master would love such a hostage, then we wouldn't worry about you fools!" Keiichirou said laughing slightly. "How about a little fun, say we play a game of chance?" Keiichi said holding out several balls.

"These are special Clown Bombs. One is laughing gas, one is sleeping gas, and one is empty. The game is simple we take turns choosing them, until one of us chooses one with a gas in it." Keiichi said putting on a gas mask and he mixed them up before grabbing one and opening it. "Looks like it is your turn." He said as he tossed two gas masks and took his off, he closed the empty ball then, he mixed them up and let Charlie have a go at it.

"This one." Charlie said as he opened a ball only to find it empty. This continued for several more rounds and Pride finally opened up a ball containing laughing gas but Keiichiro threw a smoke bomb and escaped.

Charlie and Pride ran into SciLab right as Fujin showed up to start the first security shift. "Every six hours another group will take over." Ciel said as Fujin climbed up to were Enzan was sitting. "Charlie, and Princess Pride, right. You two have the third shift." Ciel said as she walked past them into Meijin's lab.

This is a good fic so far. I like how your using many characters that have not yet appeared in the .exe series, but the point of view for the first chapter seemed a little odd. It seems cool so far, but when will the old guy in the shopping cart be making an oh-so-needed appearance? :! Does that look like a ninja turtle?:> Oh well, great fic anyways!
