Has anyone noticed in style changes..... well this
Can you tell exactly what style is this?
This also happens with [spoil:fb6b182c33]forte cross rockman[/spoil:fb6b182c33]
thats why this piece was taken out and was left with this:
Can you see forte's part of the helmet?
Do they look the same? YES _________________

Yeah, you're absoultely right! Those lazy ass spriters make hundreds and hundreds of sprites for the game, why can't they make a few hundred more?
In case you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic. It's only a couple frames that pass by in the blink of an eye and it streamlines their graphics storage. Everyone notices it, but most people have the sense not to call them on it. |

They all look like Custom (that little thing sticking out on the back). _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

They don't have individual sprites for every style. They just change the sprite's pallet and put individual sprites specific to that Style Change on top of Rockman's sprite. This saves space and makes things a bit easier for the sprite artists.
Try using a bomb chip. Rockman will have the same colors as his style as he's throwing the bomb, but the distinct characteristics of it (like the Shadow Style's elongated helmet or the Guts Style's big fist) will no longer be present for the duration of the animation.
As for Soul Unisons, they have mostly new sprites for each Unison, but you can obviously see that some corners were cut. How did they manage this? Two things: First, they could've used higher-capacity cartridges as they became available. Second, look at the out of-battle sprites. They're smaller and less detailed. |

That's there all the time. The Custom one is bigger.

And yeah, they're sooooooo lazy. They should so have different sprites for EACH attack for EACH style. That'd only be like more than a thousand more sprites.... :puku: Lazy jerks at Capcom.
And ya know it's just so important that they have all those individual sprites too, because they mean so much as far as the gameplay goes.
If you can't tell that that was sarcasm, I should throw this :stonecube: at you. |
