any one ever heard of it I was watching "anime unleashed" on G4 and in between ad's and the show there was a screen that said "rod the tv" so I guessing that it's the name of the show. I started this topic to see if any one know's about the show and if they can tell me what it's about. _________________

It's been airing for a long time now. Anyway, R.O.D. is short for Read or Die (or Read or Dream, which is one of the mangas). It's about these three adoptive sisters that fight some giant company with the power of paper. And there's some japanese writer girl in it somewhere, too. |

I like the show. I saw the movie on adult swim. Plus the characters are pretty fun. (I like yomiko the really strong paper master. She's cutely funny.) |

No. There's only three sisters. The one with the glasses is the Japanese writer person.
You might want to check Amazon or something for the DVDs. As for downloads, well, it's licensed, so good luck on that. |

Yeah, the three paper sisters are Maggie, Michelle, and Anita. Nenene is the writer. Yomiko "Agent Paper" Readman, the Paper Master from the original Read or Die OVA, shows up about halfway through the TV series. So eventually, yes, there are four of them (paper masters), but only three sisters. If you want to spend the least amount of money possible on the series, www.rightstuf.com has a sale every couple of weeks, usually for a specific Anime production company. Look for a sale from Geneon, the company that produces Read or Die TV. Lately, most of the Anime on G4 Tech TV is from Geneon: Gad Guard, Last Exile, Gungrave. I'm curious what the next new Anime they'll show will be. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?
Caboose: I think so. That guy Tex is a robot, and you're his boyfriend. So that makes you... a gay robot.
Church: ... That's right... I'm a gay robot.

Honestly I prefer the OVA it was much crazier and action pack, also it had famous people back from the dead, but evil. That German Glider King dude was awesome.
Also Beethoven's symphony of judgement, a song that causes to kill people? Awesome! |
