June 2005 Rockman.exe manga chapter summary (SPOILERS)

Mind the long title, it's an attention getter.

For those of you who just FINALLY decided to click on my topics, I'll recap from issues 8, 9, and beginnings of 10 sometime else.

Now... There are EXE 5 spoilers in here too! Beware of both game and manga spoilers please.

We start off with Barrel on the main screen. He is speaking to Amerope workers about Dr. Regal. I can't figure out what exactly they're saying, but yeah. Netto asks Dingo where Barrel is and what he looks like. That moniter never shows his middle. Netto suggests that Barrel is really short! Dingo thinks he's really fat. Barrel screams their names. Netto and Dingo now plead that it's only a joke. Barrel tells them that Rockman and Tomahawkman (To) must find Dr. Regal because he's really a dark loid! The adults don't think Dingo and Netto are ready and sending out Rockman is a big risk. Netto says "No problem!!!" and somehow has a floating Progress PET. Colonel is taking To and Rock out to the teleporter and transport them to a dark world. It looks like the undergrounds of a Net City. As they go deeper, it gets scary. Netto tells Rock something but Rock says that he's annoying! Netto questions this and Rock realizes what he says and apologizes. Rock wonders what's happening to him. Then he asks To if he's okay. To attacks! I think he says "Why ate you looking at me like that?!" And they fist fight. Dingo and Netto appear on screens saying they shouldn't fight at all. Suddenly, the ground in the net shakes. Netto is about to plug Rock out, but their transmission is cut off! It's Dr. Regal! With a beard! They ask what he's doing, and then something pops up from the ground! It's Nebula Gray! Looks more like an alian. To gets ready to attack it, but two tentacles come out of its mouth. They attack To, pumping him with some sort of energy. Rock tackles To away, but To hits his abdomen with his axe. He's been filled with Dark energy, ono! Rcokman gets a sword (I don't know how) and slices through the tentacles and then catches To's Tomahawk as he tries to strike! He reminds To of Colonel. Rock declares that they must Soul Unision in order to free his heart from darkness! And there's the glow... But Dr. Regal is laughing evilly! To is under the dark spell of darkness and it'll infect him through soul unisions! Dark Loids appear, surrounding a darkened Tomahawk Soul Rockman. Dark Rockman! But... He slices through the Dark Loids, surprising Regal! He ends with a shocking statemen? (I assume "You have no idea what you've released!")

Yes, Tomahawk Chaos Soul is the first Chaos Unison in the manga. I'm not sure if it'll be the only. Possibly not.

Oh my o.o I gotta lotta catching up to do when the later graphic novels come out, I'm totally in the Darksoul about what's going in the manga-equivlent of the MMBN5 arc.

Wow, we are up to Nebula Grey already. Sounds like a great chapter though, especially with Tomahawk Chaos Soul.

Well, actually, this is the first time I've checked in a while. I think the last summary of yours I read was the one where Tomahawkman was introduced, because I remember complaining about the use of "To" as shorthand for it. I dunno, I guess I just haven't been interested in a while. Well, I'm interested now, so a brief recap would certainly hit the spot. I never know what's going on here.

Oh wait, that's why I stopped reading your summaries, I was always lost. I had no idea where these characters were coming from or what they were doing. So catch me up with a recap and I'll really start to pay attention. How about that?

Wow! The Barrel(or Baryl, if you've played the European version of EXE5 TC) shots were pretty funny. And they've given Regal the Goatee...
I liked the old, clean shaven one better. And Chaos Tomahawk soul's expression reminds me of Hub Style, which is still being used in the current American manga. (Volume 6 is the latest, I think.)
