I have a question concerning anyone who collects the episodes of MegaMan NT Warrior that are released on VHS (-not DVD-).

The VHS tapes have 3 episodes, while the DVDs have 4... but I can't ever find descriptions on the internet that list exactly what episodes are ON the VHS's. If they release every single episode, just with one less per volume, they get majorly behind on the DVDs, and would have to release 4 more volumes of VHS tapes (and the episodes don't come out even).

Since the covers for the VHS volumes are the same as the DVD's, I've come to suspect that the 4th episode on the DVDs (which Viz always segregates by calling the "Bonus Episode" and hiding on the menus) will not get VHS releases at all. At least, this is the only way (that I can see) that the VHS releases will stay paralleled to the DVDs.

But this is where things get weird... which episodes, exactly, do the VHS tapes skip? If they simply go by every fourth episode, then they're going to skip an episode from the crucial 4-episode Grave arc... plus, that's a bunch of equally crucial episodes missing from the N1 Grand Prix saga... (SkullMania, Legendary Program Advance, Evil Empress Roll Part 2, PharaohMan Reborn)...

So... probably doubtful, since I don't know of many people who buy VHS over DVD with this kind of stuff... but if anyone has some VHS tapes, would you mind to clear this up for me?

(As a side note, the DVDs are including the Canadian-only episodes, There's No "I" in Team Part 1 and Crimson Flash... and assuming they release the "lost episodes" at the end (which is likely, since ShoPro rearranged their numbering to come after Virus Busters)... that equals out to 52 episodes on 13 DVDs.)

I was wondering the exact same thing..I looked on VIZ for that..im really confused. I guess im going to have to get the DVD versions then. I have only on VHS tape. Its volume 2 Log on. If i got the DVD version of Log on, i would have gotten "Skull mania" on the tape too..

Thats not fair that they skip episodes on VHS. Don't you think so?

I don't have a DVD player.....

They basically go in the same order of the regular english version (which means, they skip many of the episodes from the beginning of Season 1) and the DVDs have 4 episodes each, but the VHSs have 3 episodes, as you said. Therefore, the VHSs skip over one episode every time...making there NO point in buying them at all. The 'bonus episode' thing is just a scam, to hype it up. Similiar to how the "Kirby Movie" from 4kids isn't a movie it all, it's jsut the final 5 episodes of the series squished together...

The DVDs don't have any amazing extras in comparison to the VHSs. So far, all I have is Vol. 1 and 2 (3 and 4 on the way), and the only extras they have are Spanish language tracks and a MMBN4 trailer. The only real difference between the two is the DVDs have one extra episode... so I'm just trying to figure out which episodes the VHS tapes are skipping.

So, you have Vol. 2... does it have "Robotic Fish Gone Wild," "The Yoga Warrior," and "N1 Grand Prix" on it? If so, that means they skipped "Count to Three" (which is on the DVD's Vol. 1) and it also means my theory is correct.

Yeah, those are the episodes. When i first got that tape, i was looking on REO's screen cap section for season one on the eps that i had and thats when i noticed something weird. And that was that their was an ep missing. What a shame..I guess im not going to buy the VHS ones. I gotta go get a DVD player..

I think, like it was said, the "Bonus Episode" is a scam so you'll buy the DVDs, which are more expensive than VHS tapes. So they'll make more money. o_o ;;

Ah, just buy the DVDs, the quality and extra episode is worth another 5 bucks. I only have the first 3 volumes... I'm not too motivated to buy the other ones right now...

I'm not trying to decide which to buy. I already get the DVDs. This is just something I'd like to know.
