Blech. I do not like this game. I like being able to play as Rockman or Forte, and the disk collecting, but the difficulty is over the top.I think I've had this for over a year, and my opinion of it grew only a little. blech. _________________ Stop looking at my sig. That's nice. I've had the game for years (I played the SNES/Super Famicon version, not the GBA port) and it still tops my list of favorite games from the classic series. The robot master fights are so fun and the designs are the nicest among the classic series in my opinion. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

It's one of the only two original games I've managed to finish, although admittedly I've only played about 5 of them and two of those were for about five minutes. _________________

I could never seem to get the hang of this one. I'm much better at the NES titles. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

Forte's game is definitely much easier than Rock's because of the Rapid Shot and Double Jump, the latter especially! _________________

Much as I like using Bass, I just didn't care much for this game.

I don't like the sound effects, taken from MegaMan7. They sound "for kids and like kids playing with toys". Anyway, yes, it's a great game and not THAT hard. |

I wish it had been releasd as a SNES port here. The GBA takes some things away from it. And Latley I haven't had any desire to play this game, due to my failin in the battles against King _________________

Mmmkay...that's your opinion. I happen to love the sound of the Forte Buster going "Pew pew pew pew!" _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Rockman and Forte/Megaman and Bass has to be one of my favorite Classic games; the large levels and hordes of hidden disks make for a good excuse to revisit levels and explore them. I always really enjoyed the bosses, though figuring out how to beat them is certainly harder than the other Classic games.
Oddly enough, I prefer to play as Megaman instead of Bass, but it's been so long since I played, I've forgotten exactly WHY. Hm... *goes off in search of his cartridge* _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

You mean Dynamo Man? The way I beat him is I grabbed the copy buster, (Astro man's weapon for those who don't know) and beat the crud out of until he started healing, where you jump on one of the platforms, shoot it at him, then run to the other side and hit him there too. it should stop his healing pretty fast, and make him that much easier. I had trouble against him too. King is near impossible. _________________ Stop looking at my sig. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. WHAT PART OF STOP LOOKING AT MY SIG DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!?! |

If you want to dash...just use Forte.
Oh, and a better strategy for Dynamoman (it's often considered best to save him as the last robot master) would be to purchase the Super Buster from Rightot and use that to pummel Dynamoman repeatedly. It takes his life out much faster than Copy Vision and makes quick work of his recharge cradle. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

What are the differences between the GBA and SNES version, I read a while back that there was a bunch of things added to the GBA version but I have yet to find out if that came to pass |

Have you tried good old human decency?
The only real change is that everything is shrunk down, Some excess screen is cut off, and some bad translations on the CD database, ie Dr. Lights "Douchie" _________________

I love this game simply because of the story. It's great. And the difficulty...well, I will admit it is over the top. And I can't agree with you, Nenji. Forte's is most certainly not easier. You know about that thing called invincibility? You know, the thing that EVERY FREAKING ROBOT MASTER PULLS WHEN YOU HIT THEM! That's what where Rockman shines. Charge shots. Rapid fire was only good in X8. When there was a combo system rather than the bosses turning invincible when you hit them with one hit. >_>;
So yah. I passed by Groundman with ease in my first try with Rockman, while playing with Forte, I needed to have Ground's weakness. Same thing with Coldman, but not as much. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.
