Erm.... I think Narutotan's talking about the Chinese live action version starring Jay Chou/Chow and co., so I'll just talk about that then. ^^; Initial D: The Movie ( http://lovehkfilm.com/reviews_2/initial_d.htm ) came out in China recently, on like the 27th, right?

I haven't seen it. How is it? I've actually never seen the anime either, though. ^^;

It's interesting how the Chinese decided to make a live action movie of an anime. The anime is pretty popular too. Hopefully the movie lives up to the anime's name.

It was all the rage over here when it came out cus it had Jay Chou innit.
Try going to a cinema where every time he comes on screen,all the girls scream "Jaaaaaayyy!!!!"

I just love the cars in that show. I know that they have a live action thing going on and they use tha actual cars. They do a really good job at making hte cars lick the railings like in the anime. When I saw the trailer for the live action movie, I think, it was, oh my gosh, it was screaming really good anime re creation as well as good street racing.

In my opinion, I would rate it a C+ for effort. It was alright, but Jay Chou should go back to singing, not acting. If they raced in more places, then...that would of been more interesting. They kinda made him a Gary Stu though. Sad
