Gender Confusion

I remember a talk me and my friend were having a few days ago. About all the guys you keep thinking are girls. Well that made me think... what guys in anime and manga have you confused for girls and vice versa.

As for me I haven't seen any girls who look like guys but for guys who look like girls

Momiji (Fruits Basket) The fact that he wore a dress once didn't really help ^^;;
That one guy of the band of 7 in inuyasha. I could have sworn he was a woman
Two of the people in Fushigi Yugi (You know the ones) Man they make pretty convincing women
That one guy in Rurouni Kenshin (Man am I bad with names) my jaw dropped when he said he was a dude....

So anyone else out there confuse the genders of anime charters??? If so who???

Karuto from Hunter x Hunter immediately pops to mind...
He looks pretty much exactly like a girl and is too young to have had breasts if he was a girl and I don't belive they ever refer to him by gender. (The guy who does the manga wrote that it was a guy in the manga guidebook)

Kamatari is the crossdresser in Rurouni Kenshin. Sojiro is also rather feminine. Yes it is very surprising that Kamatari is a man. I still say she when referring to Narcy as well.

Haku from Naruto with his hair down...X_x Naruto was talking Haku and he keep calling Haku "lady".XD Befor Haku leave he said this to Naruto
"Oh,and one more thing I'm a boy."And Naruto was like "What?! You're even cuter then Sakura-chan!" XDD I still remember that! Laughing

Oh,yeah and envy too.When I found out he what a guy and I was like "WTF?!"

If anyone's watched or read Hellsing, a lot of the guys and girls get mixed up. The fact that Alucard has long hair dont help. Laughing

I sometimes got confused when they introduce a new character in the manga Dragon Knights. -_-; Some of the guys look like girls....

Seriously though? Ever seen the anime I my me! Strawberry eggs? It's about a teacher who dresses as a girl to land a job in the recession, and he looks freakishly good as a woman XD I was somewhat suprised when I saw that.

Alot of the more noticeable ones have been taken XD I knew Haku was a guy from the start, as soon as they started hinting at it I'm like Oh god... Envy threw me for a loop however

Narcy fooled me the first time I saw him...
... and I guess Serenade, Foxtar, and Lumine fooled everyone.

Other than that, the most recent one that comes to mind is from Inuyasha... I really can't remember his name off-hand, but he looks like a woman... has a woman's voice... and has a blatant, twisted crush on Inuyasha. I still didn't believe it was a male until you saw his bare chest in one episode...

Oh, Fish Eye and Zoicite from Sailormoon come to mind.

Jukotsu...I think that's what his name was, Was way too manly to be considered a guy....what woman has an adam's apple? Plus, the muscle porportion was that equal to a man. Haku...I thought he was a girl too.

I saw I My Me, Strawberry Eggs...that was kinda wierd. XD

All in all, I can't get confused easily unless it was for something like in Haku's situation. My friends get confused sometimes

Souji (Peace Maker Kurogane).

Takumi (Gad Guard).

Yukimura and Fuji (The Prince of Tennis).

Souji has a very feminine voice and I almost confuse him for a girl the first time I saw him. As for Takumi I could I swore he was a girl at first but later in the series I found out that he was a guy. And then there's Yukimura and Fuji, both of them look like and sound like a women but Yukimura takes it a step higher than Fuji.

Mao from Tales of Rebirth is impossible to tell that he is a guy. He looks exactly like a girl and his voice acting even sound girlish >.>;.
