If you haven't played a Final Fantasy game, leave it off the list and say so below. Remember: Final Fantasy Legend and Final Fantasy Adventure don't count, since they're actually SaGa and Seiken Densetsu.

1st-FF9
2nd-FF3
3rd-FF4
4th-FF6
5th-FF5
6th-FF1
7th-FF2
8th-FF7
9th-FF Mystic Quest

9 is one of my favorite games of all time. 3 had a pretty big quest and proved to be quite challenging. 4 was just fun, and same goes to 5 and 6. 1 was the original, but not as great as the others. 2 was fun, but the level-up system was confusing and tedious. 7 got more hype than it's worth, but I LOVE the motorcycle minigame. Mystic Quest...all it's got going for me is the music.

I haven't played FF8, FF10, and FF11, same with Crystal Chronicles and Tactics.

I really haven't played many FF games, but that's because none of them can stand up to 6, which is probably my all time favorite RPG. The storyline is incredible, the characters all have unique personalities, and the humor is great. Also, the greatest moogle EVAR, Mog, appears.

FFTA (Tactics Advance) is the deepest game that I have ever played. The job system, the loads of strategy, it's a game that'll take you a LONG time to beat.

FF10 I didn't play much of, and while the battle system was unlike the real time ones, the storyline was compelling and the characters well done.

I recently got FFXI, and while it's a bit confusing in the beginning, when you get the hang of it, it's fun.

Ryoma we practically have the same views on FFTA and FF6. I love FF6 'cause it was the darkest and last installment on the SNES.

The ones I really like stop after 5. while the ones I sort of like stop after Mystic Quest Razz

As you can probably tell, I really enjoyed the spinoff games (and their spinoffs XD)

Can't speak for the first one, but I love the second one.
It's a dungeon crawler type game, where you go through long dungeons, going down floors and picking up items, spells and weapons.
It's got a good amount of replay, since there's a lot of stuff to do and a ton of hard to get weapons and spells Smile

It also focuses on Chibified versions of FF monsters, many of which are quite cute :3

Chocobo's the main character and at different points you get Mog, A White Mage and Cid as partners. (and there's a secret character too)

FF7 is so Mainstream, it was the first game to come out on the PS2. IF you played the FF below 7 you'd love 6 the most. Also known as 3.

My favourites are FFVII and FFIX. Those games had something special on them. I hate FFVIII, the graphics can be good but the story is bad, more than bad, it´s terrible, I get bored very soon with the game. And the same with FFX-2, looks more like the Angels of Charlie than a FF game.
